In the guardians HQ the new Guardian of the globe were lined up in a line as if they were in the army standing by the general unfortunately their general was Cecil and he was giving them a lecture

Cecil, who was furious: your ongoing fuck ups of major proportion!

Kate: that's a little harsh

Cecil walked up to Kate looking straight into her eyes: that was the nice way of putting it Kate don't push me

She looked away she knew that he was right It just hurt to hear it said out loud.

Cecil turned his attention away from the guardians and displayed their recent battle with the giant on the screen: you're slow and disciplined take down take too long and the public praise the price

Rex stepping out of line: hey we put our necks on the line every single day-

Cecil interrupted him: shut up Rex you're lucky to still be on the team after the stunt you pulled! what do I need to remind you? That because of you? A bunch of lunatics got away with classified information as well as the identities of both Atom Eve and invincible?! and all because you wanted to get laid!

Rex infuriated that people were bringing that up again: for 100 times she used some sort of power that made her attractive... It's not my fault!

Monster girl crossed her arm: and again if you actually read the books that izuku spent hours making you would've known that your fan was an psychopath serial killer/stalker and for the hundredth time her power is that she can transform into people by drinking their blood she's not some sort of succubus

Rex gridding his teeth: how do we know that we've got to go on is? Izuku word and those silly books of his how do we fucking know that he isn't lying about it because he's trying to cover up his own mistake.

Cecil: because unlike you, Rex, he's actually willing to admit to his mistakes and all of you are lucky to be alive right now if it wasn't for invincible and Eve half of you would be dead and the other half would probably be wishing they were dead right now

Rex nervous now as he looks away: we... We could've taken them they just caught us by surprise

Cecil: no you couldn't of those were just three of their main members they have a fucking army Rex, a... fucking army superpowered individuals, each one willing to die for their course they sent the bare minimum of what they needed to beat. You imagine what would happen if they sent more.

Rex remain silent he didn't want to admit it, but he knew Cecil was right and infuriated him every time he just reminded him about how Togo tricked him of how stupid it made him feel but he always tried to cover it up by saying it wasn't his fault and only for a brief few seconds every time he said that he actually believed it

Deep down he knew it was his fault, but he didn't want to admit it. He didn't want to admit the fact that he was tricked. And his actions, but the whole world at risk so we just remain silent and got back into place.

Cecil: getting back on topic we've done an analysis of your last 15 engagement and narrowed it down to a failure in leadership

Rudy placed rubbed his right shoulder with his left hand ashamed the rest of the guardians aside from Rex gave him lots of sympathy

Rudy: I'm still adjusting to my new body I... I wasn't aware of this sort of transformation

Rudy: I'm not sure how to describe it but I think because I am in a clone of izuku body I have picked up some of his... Habits

this intrigued Rex: oh and what kind of habits does a greenhead friend have?~

Rudy: I can only sleep for three hours a day... my mind is constantly racing. I cannot relax properly... And I've been mumbling to myself. I do not understand this body was meant to be a blank slate and yet it has picked up certain things.

Cecil: that might be due to genetic markers apparently in izuku world that's not science-fiction it's an actual fact... What are my advice? Rudy? You should've asked before you took the kids DNA it might've been able to warn you before that. Speaking of which how is the other project coming along?

Robot looked away ashamed: I have tried numerous attempts but I cannot seem to replicate the arc reactor not in the way that izuku has remade his own the ones I have created are too unstable. It seems that no matter how many times I try. I cannot figure out how Tony Stark was able to create something so advanced. Perhaps a changing perspective might help.

Cecil: good keep working on that but as of right now I'm instigating a change

from behind him, someone flew down behind Cecil with an equally serious expression on his face

The immortal who are now completely recovered from his brush with death

Cecil: the immortal is now in charge a couple thousand years of experience to turn things around Rudy I still want you working on trying to replicate the arc reactors

Rudy: I understand that Cecil but wouldn't it be better to ask izuku to do it?

Cecil: I would except he's busy working with other projects that are equally not more important plus he still recovering and getting used to his reactor being in the centre of his chest

Rex, who had completely ignored that part of the conversation woke up to the immortal in a cocky way as he performed a slow clap: nice entrance did you work it out in advance? You were waiting for your queue

The immortal kept looking at Rex, not impressed at all, but Rex continued: you were weren't you? You were work down in advance you were just waiting over there. I mean it looked effortless, but I feel like a lot of preparation went into it.

Cecil: it's also obvious that the guardians need new muscle so meet bulletproof

Rex turned around as he heard a Woh and then he locked eyes with a new member of the guardians who for some reason reminded him of invincible

(just ignore Rudy in the background)

bulletproof: hey

Rex placed his hands on his hips and look at bulletproof: amazing it's just a whole afternoon of new friends. What do you do? I mean other than having the most obvious name ever... Bulletproof really?

Bulletproof stepped forward, making Rex flinch: I can do everything you wish you could and that's rich coming from a guy who calls himself Rex explode you come up with that great shit o I can do everything you wish you could and that's rich coming from a guy who calls himself Rex explode you come up with that great shit yourself or did someone help you with that?

Rex hesitated: i... Came...up... with it

bulletproof: yeah... I figured come on man I know you're tight be better

suddenly, another voice entered the conversation: not really...

practically jumped out of his skin when Rex saw la brava standing in between him and bulletproof with her laptop in hand

Rex: oh great who is this now?

Cecil: this is la brava she's not really one for combat, but she's apparently the worlds greatest hacker in izuku world she's been helping out rebuild our security system after the hacking attack speaking of how's it going?

la brava: it's going well. Your computer in this place is adapting to the new software quite nicely but I can't quite give it the same level protection as we do back in my world.

shrink: and why is that?

la brava: well it's sort of like trying to connect the most recent gaming system to a TV that was made in the 50s our computers programming systems are so more advanced than yours trying to add in the whole thing at once would pretty much fry the entire system so we have thing to do this one update at a time

Rex looked at the little girl: are you serious? We already have one little girl on the team. We don't need another.

la brava: well lucky for you I'm not on your team I'm just tech support and for the record I'm 21 now if you excuse me, I have to go meet my darling gentle

The little lady then skipped off out of the base

Cecil: on that sobering note as one more thing she's not joining your team officially but you've got a new trainer I believe you've already met

similar to how the immortal made his entrance lady nagant flew down standing just behind Cecil

Rex strongly opposed this idea : oh come on no no literally anyone but her! Wasn't she a former assassin we can't trust her

lady nagant: isn't that a bit hypocritical coming from you?

There was a slight gasp from Rex as he looked at the human sniper : yeah that's right I know your history kid it's a bit hypocritical of you calling me an assassin cause at least when I was doing it I was working for the heroes as dark as it was

Cecil : she'll be in charge of training each and everyone of you and making you all work better as a team being the assassin of the heroes Association being trained since middle school should give you guys a good role model build your team up

Rex: well that's just great. Why don't you just replace us all with the freak? Show a form of villains at this decided to become heroes.

Cecil stepped closer to Rex, eyeing him straight in the eye : don't tempt me Rex because that was a serious decision I had to make

this comment shocked all the guardians even the immortal

Sampson : Cecil I know that they're impressive but you can't be serious... They have former criminals

lady nagant: and again I was a hero before that feel like I need to mention that again... But look we're not after your damn job we're just doing this because we owe izuku and some of us are looking for redemption so love me or hate me I'm in charge of you guys to make you into a kick ass team your new training schedules are in your lockers. The next one starts in five minutes be there or else!

with that the new training lady went over to the gym to get ready and soon the guardians were going to learn just how good of a shot Lady Nagant really is

back in izuku workshop

Eve had returned after hanging out with some school friends while clones of her helped out with the cleanup to keep the illusion that she was in two places at the same time

When she got back to the workshop, she didn't expect to see Mark there. Moreover she didn't expect to see the two of them looking so shaken as they were beginning to pack what appeared to be weapons.

Eve: okay... Is the apocalypse happening And I just missed it?

Mark and Izuku stuff what they were doing and looked to Eve both of them looked as if they had seen a ghost which only worried her even more

Eve: OK, what's going on?

Izuku: well we have relatively good news and devastating news. The good news is the monitor paid us a visit...

Mark, finish the sentence: the bad news is it for the usual reasons

Flashback

Mark's point of view

Me and Izuku we're having a relatively good moment talking about our feelings and everything I thought it was crap when people said talking about your feelings really helpful but it turns out it was true

and then the architect of pain and suffering decided to pay a visit the monitor he then gave us a big speech about how danger is coming and the embodiment of destruction was on its way which I translated to another bad thing was going to happen

Izuku face lost all its colour: the embodiment of destruction you mean shigaraki my cousin

My eyes widen, holy shit that's right I forgotten : shit seriously he's on his way here. I swear to God if this is some sort of joke

The monitor : I know that the two of you don't like me, but when have you known me to ever joke?

Okay, he has a point there : all right fine just tell us where he's gonna arrive and we'll stop him before he gets here

The monitor : unfortunately I cannot

Izuku frustrated: oh come on you always do you always give us answers for what just one time? Can you be straight with us? What is going on?

There was a brief moment of silence between the three of us I could understand my friends frustration how I felt it to the monitor was always like this. He always gave us half answers and expected us to figure out the rest and it was so frustrating.

The monitor let out a sigh: I cannot tell you exact details because it will be breaking the rules but what I can tell you is... Something is happening in this world that shouldn't be happening something that only should be happening in the prime timeline

oh great, yeah, that clears it all up : well thank you for that. We certainly know exactly what you're talking about. Oh wait no we don't because we have no fucking idea what's going on can you be a little more please?!

The monitor : it is the father of the child that you killed in another universe the one I showed you

my face went from frustration to horror oh my God I remember when he showed me the vision. It was a guy with a beard they were hiding in some sort of bunker from me. His kid had a fox he called chainsaw...

Izuku: wait hold on are you saying that the person that Mark alter ego killed or scarred is bringing over my cousin to what to kill him?

The monitor slowly began to disappear : I've told you more than I am allowed to. I must leave now. You must stop him before he arrives.

And with that he was gone again once again, giving us emotional scars and literally fucking nothing except the prophecy of death : I really hate that guy

Izuku: you and me both, but he's right he's not lied or joked about any of this let's get back to my workshop we need to find out how shigaraki it's going to get here and where that person is you saw his face or at least his alter ego race do you think you could recognise it if you saw it again?

I shrug I only got a quick glance : maybe I only saw him for a split second and to say that he would even look the same in our dimension

Izuku: what's the best lead we've got? Come on we need to get back to my workshop! trust me if you think awful one was bad you don't want to know what Toma shigaraki can do

Flashback over

Eve : okay so once again the monitor shows up gives us a prophecy of death and then just expect you to fill in the blanks fucking great

Izuku: yeah the thing is though we've been looking all over Jarvis has been scanning the entire city if my cousin really was coming over they would have to be an exorbitant amount of energy right to build a portal that would allow him to cross dimensions but so far there there's nothing

Yeah, and there's other problems with this too : yeah and I've been going through pictures of people that I think look like the guy I saw in the vision but nothing is clicking plus we have no idea if this person even looks the same in our reality for we know this guy could be a woman here

Izuku: and there was the ominous warning about how the fact that whatever is happening here isn't supposed to happen only supposed to happen on the main timeline so I don't wanna imagine what that's going to the main

Eve: OK, both of you calm the hell down we'll figure this out have you told Cecil yet?

Izuku: is busy right now so we've left a message still... we need to keep looking this world barely survive all for one there's no way it can survive shigaraki the embodiment of destruction and that name is not just for show he really lives up to it if we want any chance of seeing tomorrow we need to find this person and start whatever he's doing if not... The world won't last another week
