It was nice talking to Mark. I'm happy that I can help him through this difficult time. I know it's not the same, but I know how I felt when allmight retired it's not the same, but I have a feeling that the world is feeling pretty similar they're uneasy right now they're speaking of Hope and protection is gone and they're worried about the future. It's completely understandable.

Could that be why I was sent here to help them... Now whoever sent me here wanted me to get stronger it might be why he sent getting in to attack me he wanted to see how well I did against him but still that's a pretty extreme training method plus getting was in prison this guy had to break him out that's a crime

I just don't understand what is that guy's game? Does he want me to get stronger or does he want to kill me? I wish you would just come out and say it at the very least then I wouldn't be so confused.

Whatever I'm not gonna figure anything out by worrying about it now I have to focus on flying. I'm currently heading towards Cecil because he wants to talk. He says it was about because he wants me to take some sort of IQ test... That might be code for something he might have figured out that I know that he's watching me or maybe he's found something out about how to get me home whatever it is I don't think I can just ignore it

I gotta say, though it's nice to be in a city that isn't falling apart, sure I know I need to get home as soon as possible assuming that my theory about how time runs faster here than it does in my world. I would say that only a few hours who passed, even though I've been here for a couple of weeks now. But again, that's just a theory and I still don't know if it's true.

I just really need to get home as soon as possible, and while I'm at it to take the soldier from the paranormal liberation army with me I don't think this world needs one more villain running around, especially one of his power

As I fly through the city, it still feels weird having to wear my mask now but apparently secret identities are a thing here so I should keep it on, but I really need to figure out a better way to deal with this cause the wind keeps getting into my eyes and my hood can't hold up against the wind. Maybe I need to think about getting my suit repaired maybe Cecil know someone.

Wouldn't be a bad idea I mean my suits falling apart and if I am gonna be here a while I'd rather not have a costume that could fail me at any moment but for now I'll keep with what I've got

Suddenly, a voice came from above me: patrolling

I recognise the voice immediately as Eve I turn around still flying in the air: no I'm heading to Cecil. He wants to speak to me. What about you? You patrolling

Eve: actually just getting off of it now I'm heading home seems pretty quiet lately... I thought all hell was gonna break loose after the guardians of the globe death was going to be announced

Yeah, we thought that too about all might retirement but to be honest, it took a while before things kicked off: people are probably still reacting to the loss. Some villains might not even believe it's true... they're probably just waiting a while to make sure that it's well you know actually true like they say you can't believe everything you see on TV

Eve chuckled: I guess you're right you really have a lot of insight into something like this

She comes down and flies beside me and I rub the back of my head and I look away slightly blushing. She's so close: well truthfully where I'm from we had a similar problem... I mean our hero didn't die he just retired he couldn't use his abilities anymore because of a very bad injury. It's not the same but... It's having the same kind of effect it took a while before things really kicked off for the worst. I mean that wasn't riots in the streets or villains running wild. There was just... What you'd usually expect in a day it's just that they were more... Bold and proud. I guess it's really hard to say I was out of action when that time happened.

Eve seeming to understand: so are you really trying out for the new guardians of the globe?

I nod: yeah I figured might as well Cecil thinks I've  got the skills for it and honestly, what do I have to lose by trying out? What about you? You planning on trying out? I heard that robot left teen team so what's gonna happen to you guys breaking up?

Eve looked too sad but she nodded: yeah I mean I don't want to, but we had a discussion about it. It seems like the right thing to do. I mean in a few years it'll be kind of stupid to call ourselves teen when we're young adults.

Hi chuckle I guess she's right if you're gonna be in a team for the rest of your life you should pick a name that's gonna last forever: yeah I get that... So you and Rex and the others are you gonna try out for guardians of the globe too

Eve: yeah, though it's not likely that we're all gonna get in, but it's worth a shot there's no harm in it

It's good to see that she's staying positive. I know what it would be like if class one a broke up: I know it's none of my business but how exactly did you meet Rex and Kate along with robot? I mean if you have the time.

Eve: actually, any excuse to keep me away from Home is good. I'd be happy to tell you and all kind of started but when I was younger and I was still playing solo hero but then I came across Rex and he was working as an assassin fo-

BOOM!!

An explosion grabbed both of our attention. It looked like something was going down on the street near convenience store

Eve: wanna step in?

I nod: yeah I've got a few minutes to spare

We take a little detour and fly down to the street where we look at the culprit responsible for the explosion

This man seems to have a for a hand and in his free non-robotic hand he has a suitcase probably filled with money that he stole from the convenience store... That's low

Eve seemed to recognise this man: kill Cannon

Kill Cannon... That's kind of lazy: so you know this guy?

Eve rolled her eyes: he was the first guy I ever thought he's kind of like my nemesis

Kill Cannon: well well well if it ain't the little lady once again and it seems like you've got a new boy toy... Tell you what you let me go and I won't splatter your new boyfriend across the pavement

Eve getting a little frustrated: he's not my boyfriend and you're not gonna hurt him

Kill Cannon: who's gonna stop me? You in case you haven't heard? The guardians are dead and-

Interrupt him, partly because it's getting ridiculous: i'm sorry I know that you guys are doing like the classic hero villain conversation but are we just gonna stand here and talk all day or are we gonna fight?...? Cause I kind of like somewhere I need to be and bonus point, why did you call yourself? Kill Cannon? That's kind of obvious isn't it? Also it sounds like something a child would come up with for a special move behold my kill Canon kind of childish isn't it?

Eve let out a small chuckle and kill Cannon looking still overconfident but I could tell he was angry slightly: a smart guy... Well kid let's see how childish  this is when I blast your face off with my kill Can-

I interrupted him again because I just can't hold in my laughter. I know it's inappropriate but this is just ridiculous. I feel like I'm fighting someone who is just trying way too hard to be a super villain both him and Eve along with some of the civilians look at me confused my laughter I explained: ha ha ha ha ha ha... I'm sorry I'm sorry ha ha ha ha ha... I just I can't I can't just help a picture of you in the morning waking up all serious saying to yourself (deep voice) you know what would be a really kick ass name kill Cannon! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Eve even some of the civilians along with the past users in my head started chuckling along I don't know what's going into me but I just can't take this guy. Seriously, I can see him greeting his teeth. He only continues as everyone laughs including myself: that's how I hear you in my head!

Getting ready to fire kill his teeth and the crowd fell silent: how dare you kill Cannon strikes into the heart of all besides a big man needs a big gun

One of the past users whispered something into my ear. I think it was Nana, which made me bust out laughing again: well I guess that explains the second choice doesn't it?... Captain compensating! Ha ha ha ha ha

Attempts at atmosphere immediately faced away as the whole crowd eve included burst into laughter as kill can and puts his gun down blushing slightly. I could actually see people crying with with laughter one person was even on the floor holding his stomach having a difficulty breathing from all the laughter

Eve through her laugh: deku ha ha ha ha Please stop. I can't. Ha ha ha ha I can't concentrate when I'm laughing! oh my God, Captain compensating... ha ha ha ha ha ha!

I'm happy that I'm able to make people laugh even though that's not usually my style but these people have been through a lot these past couple of days the invasion finding out the guardians are dead. I think some people needed a good laugh and I was happy to give it to them.

Well, all except one: enough you think I'm a joke kid! Let's see if you can laugh after I blow a hole right through your chest

I shrug: well dying would be a lot better than living as a compensating muscle head who thinks kill Cannon is a cool name

This only further infuriates him as he pointed his canon at me and it starts to energising up: why you lit-

Kill Cannon was interrupted by someone I could've sworn I recognised hitting him on the back of the head the whole crowd was in shock even me and Eve were we didn't expect that the guy then grabbed the suitcase and then ran from the crowd

Eve looked at me confused as she pointed out the criminal running away: did he just...?

I finish what she's probably gonna say: knockout kill Cannon to get the money... It would appear so I'll admit I did not see that coming

Eve: should we like go after him? I've never had a situation like this.

I know as the two of us race after the thief only for someone to jump us from the corner and that's when I definitely recognised it was a heavy set guy with mask with a long nose it can't be... I've only heard about these guys

The one that was running away through the suitcase in a van Has two new members of this gang joined together and it truly was them. I never actually met them but I heard about

The Reservoir dogs that's impossible. How did they get here? Even I quickly get out of the grass with a giant one who falls back but doesn't try to attack us instead he runs back to his gang.

One of the thugs: thanks for distracting him a little heroes your real help to the reservoir dogs... Later!

They drive off and we give chase but one of them activates their quirk creating a ball of energy and then throwing it at a building causing it to collapse knowing that civilians are endangered me and Eve give up the chase and help the people in the blast radius of the fallen building. I hold it up as Eve gets everyone out of the way once she does that I lift the building back up and place it back where it was and Eve uses her powers to mould the buildings structure back together.

Eve: you okay?

I nod: yeah I am come on let's go after them they couldn't have gotten far

She not as we give chase to them again we couldn't see them, but judging by the smoke we were heading in the right direction we thought that some other hero might've cut them off but when we arrived at the scene... It was something horrifying yet horrifying familiar

Eve horrified: my God who could've done this?

I know I recognise this style anywhere : I have an idea of who... Eve I know your team is disbanded but do you think you can get them all together? I think teen team has one last mission

She nodded her head: yeah sure, so you know who did this?

I nod: yes I think so. I don't want to believe it because the last time I heard he was now powerless but it seems that's not the case anymore... He's a monster with no conscience or he'll break every rule of ethics and humanity to get his goal he'll kill everyone including himself if it meant getting closer to what he wants... I don't want to believe it but overhaul has returned
