I know that I only uploaded this chapter before but something went wrong and not all of the Chapter got released so I had to rewrite it just a bit I hope you enjoyed please don't forget to leave a comment and a vote because it really shows support

also in one of my previous chapters wattpad got rid of one of the images because it had a little bit of blood which I don't understand because I see more bloody images used on this site so why did my one and only had a few drops of blood get taken down I don't understand

rex point of view

You know what? I was actually excited. I was actually excited when Eve called me over to the team team base. I thought it was gonna be for a booty call but when I arrived here everyone else here including invincible was here apparently she let out the invite to everyone, great.

Invincible: do you guys know what this call is about? I just got a message from deku telling me to meet him here?

Deku he's here too great just great like I need another reason to see the Demon bunny: no we got a call from Eve... What are those two doing together?

Invincible: wait you guys don't know... They were on patrol today and they came across kill Cannon and well... It's by far one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life

They were out together oh I see where this is going

Robot: I believe I know what video invincible is quoting about... It appears that while in the midst of trying to kill Cannon someone else beat them to it to it knocked him out

Kate: OK so we've got a new superhero in town. What's the big deal?

Robot explained further: the problem is that this wasn't a hero this person knocked to kill Cannon out stole his loot and then ran back to a gang referring to themselves as the reservoir dogs eve and deku gave Chase to the criminals but were distracted when one of them brought down a building luckily no one was hurt or injured however the thief got away but not far

Well, of course they didn't Eve and her new boy toy got in the way probably whatever it doesn't matter. I wanna know why the fuck I had to come here to find out that my girlfriend was cheating on me with another guy.

Speak of the devil and she will appear eve came out from under the hole of our base along with the green haired bunny rabbit wonder what they were doing before we arrived

Eve: good you guys are here... Listen I know what I said about us having one last mission is teen team but we think it might be too late for that

Great, so we wasted our time: oh good, we wasted our time. Can we go home now?

Deku the dickhead who stole my girlfriend is probably fucking her behind my back: actually while you're here you should know... Another villain from my past has emerged. I think I don't wanna believe it's possible but someone I thought would never cross pass with again.

Invincible seems visibly shaking oh what is it? Is the son of Omni man afraid of some thug: when you say someone from your past... Do you mean..you know who?

The dickhead shakes his head much to the relief of the new rookie: no Mark it's not him... however this man is still dangerous in a way that he's as dangerous as you know who

Once again, the total lack of clarity here has me confused but since invincible is freaking out there has to be something to it

The green Demon bunny then throws us a couple of handmade images of whoever this guy is and I can't help but burst out laughing. This guy is the guy that afraid of he looks like a joke. What is he wearing a sex mask?

This is the guy they're afraid of. It's a joke. It has to be how dangerous could this guy be? What is he gonna do? Pick me to death

Eve who's actually believing this: Rex this isn't a joke. This guy is dangerous. He's got powers that are similar to mine. Only difference is he can affect living things. A single touch is all it would take and then you go splat all over the wall.

Yeah and pigs fly there's no way that guy has that kind of power. I can tell a lot by this picture and what I can tell us. It's just a made up fantasy whoever this you know who guy is probably is just as weak this is a joke and I can't believe any of them are buying this shit

I roll my eyes sarcastically as I throw the image away : oh yeah that he's so scary... Maybe you gotta understand this is some sort of joke or he's overreacting. What kind of self-respecting super villain would wear a sex mask?

Deku: it's not a sex mask it's a plague doctor mask you know from 18th century

Oh yeah, way to go man making me feel inadequate about how I never went to school : yeah I never went to school so I don't know what the fuck you're talking about but how bad could that possibly be? What are you gonna do? Peck Me to death but whatever weirdo fantasy you wanna live with that's you but don't expect me to live with you. This guy isn't dangerous. I could probably take him on myself.

Invincible, who is actually buying this shit too : Rex this isn't a joke if izuku says disguise is dangerous we need to take him seriously I mean, remember what happened with gettin we barely survived that guy.

Yeah right, we could've taken them on even without the green haired bunny. These guys aren't dangerous. They're just idiotic. I could probably take all of his villains on in my sleep. They'll probably quick in fear when they see me Rex explode.

With that, I'm done with this shit and it looks like Kate is too at least someone here is being sensible : yeah I'll keep an eye out for the bird guy wearing a sex mask that supposedly super dangerous... What a joke enjoy living in constant fear

As we walk away from the base, I can't help but feel hurt that Eve isn't coming after me of course she isn't. She's got a new boy toy after all well, I guess that means that's the end for us

I turned to Kate, still kind of frustrated : can you believe those guys? They actually believe that some guy wearing whatever the fuck that is is actually dangerous... We took down a literal invasion the other day what the hell did this guy do? And what is up with Eve spending so much time around the green haired bunny they're totally going out behind my back

Kate seems surprised by it but it was so ironclad it was so easy to see : are you sure? I mean? I grant you that they seem close but dating... That seems like a pretty big step. Also Eve doesn't seem like the type of girl that would do that to you

Yeah well, maybe you don't know her as well as you think you do : trust me, I know, but I'm gonna be the sensible one and talk to her about it

Kate: well OK let me know how it goes

Oh, I will. I really will maybe having Eve cheated on me isn't such a bad thing after all now I see what's right in front of me

(yeah, I kind of made Rex an extra sleaze ball in this chapter sorry but felt like it needed to be done at least once)

Narrators point of view

The rest of the superheroes have gone back into the base robot one of the only few that was taking this threat seriously was doing checks on his computer searching for any reference to a a gang wearing plague doctor masks but so far he was coming up with nothing however there were more sightings of of some small group of people who were wearing that which was more concerning

Izuku punched the wall in frustration to the point where he cracked he was holding back a bit but it was enough to crack the wall and form a small hole: dammit I tried to warn them and they just not listening

Eve: yeah I'm sorry about Rex... Honestly if you hadn't told me about how dangerous this overhaul guy is I probably wouldn't believe it myself. If I just looked at the picture I mean this guy does not look threatening like at all but I trust you when you say that he is especially afterward... He told me he did.

Mark slightly confused : do you have some kind of history with this guy? Izuku?

The young hero shrugged as he removed his hand from the hole in the wall and brushed some of the brie off of his wrist: in a matter of speaking technically we've only met twice and from the very beginning I hated this guy I found him disgusting on so many levels you know how I said all for one has no morals no code or form of ethics while overhaul is roughly the same I mean he's not as bad but he'll cross any line if it means achieving his goal... He was torturing an experimenting on a little girl who was barely 6 years old and he was pulling apart apart peace by peace and resetting her over and over again

Invincible gasped he had never heard something so horrible and he had heard quite a few horrible things from his father's in adventures: oh my God, why why would he do something so horrible?

Izuku shrugged: no one really knows to be honest of all we could get him into custody to understand why he did what he did. He was attacked by the league of villains back when they were just a small time overhaul had killed one of their own and they were looking for payback, but they didn't kill him. They cut off his arms so that he was powerless but somehow and I feel like I know how he's got his arms back and incidentally his powers.

Mark nodded before turning to Eve. She didn't seem shocked at all by this. : when she said that you told her about this guy does that mean you also told her about... Well you know you not being from around here?

Eve nodded: yeah he told me I will admit that at the start I was hesitant to believe him but the more he talked about it the more it made sense. I mean the villains that he's talking about if they were here, I would definitely i've heard of them even if they were in Japan some of the stuff they've done and the way he talks about it makes it sound like it's real. I mean I'm not saying I completely believe him but I'm definitely open to the possibility of... Alternative worlds I mean we have aliens here honestly alternative earths aren't that that far of a leap from there

Izuku: the one thing I don't get is why did whoever brought me here bring overhaul and the reservoir dogs... I mean does anyone else just not see any sense to this? He sends me here after healing up my injuries then sends people that want to kill me. Am I crazy or does that not make any sense?

Mark agreed : you're not crazy it really doesn't. I mean if this guy wanted to kill you couldn't have just done it himself when he had you in his hands instead he just sends you to another world where you're not being hunted by a power hungry psychopath and he also heals says he wants to help you get stronger but then send people here that want to kill you none of that makes any sense

Eve: unless it's some sort of weird test, I mean think about it izuku beat up pretty much the entire superhero community in Chicago when he was drugged out if he can do that the only people I could see that could stand up to him or the guardians of the globe and Omni man and maybe you invincible, but that's after some training

Izuku nod: I can't deny that that does seem like a possibility but even it seems a bit risky. If this person wants to help me why not bring one of my teachers here with me they probably teach me a lot better than sending a bunch of villains after me. Could I just don't understand what the heck is the game here and if he really wants to help me why is he putting civilians not to mention another world in danger by bringing villains here?

Mark: I don't know, man. Something tells me if we don't find out soon we're gonna be in deep trouble

Izuku couldn't agree more. Something else was going on here something he didn't understand and it made it dangerous however, he let out a sigh: well we're not gonna figure it out tonight... I should call Cecil and cancel the test. I'll do it another time we should get ready to tryouts for the new guardians of the globe we're gonna happen soon

Eve chuckled: yeah I heard about that and what exactly are you gonna do about it?

Izuku confused as he turned to the redhead: what do you mean?

Eve: well the message that was sent out said that we were fighting amongst each other in practice matches... But you've already beaten every hero in Chicago other than myself and no offence but I don't wanna fight you and if no one wants to fight you then how are you gonna prove yourself as a candidate for the guardians of the globe?

The heroine training froze. He didn't think about that not to mention everyone probably still hated him for beating them up. He really needed to find a way to apologise but he just never found the way.

Mark could see that his friend was panicking and then he came with an idea: I've got an idea why don't you fight me?

Izuku turned to Mark: mark are you sure? But I thought you were trying out for the guardians of the globe.

Mark: well I was still gonna go there anyway like I would miss something like that, I want to see who the new guardians are and if I'm being honest other than the time you knocked out one of my teeth I have been curious which one of us is stronger you or me and a good practice match might be able to answer that question besides I have a feeling that you're gonna get in regardless of whether or not you win or lose against me so what do you say? Do you wanna fight?

Izuku smiled he was looking forward to it: sure... But don't expect me to go easy on you

Mark chuckled: same to you

The two friends left sure it was going to be a difficult battle for the both of them, but they felt as if they could learn something new by fighting each other and it would be a real challenge either way neither of them were aware of the darkness that was flourishing in the city away in the shadows far from peoples eyes

In inside shadows of an alleyway walked overhaul carrying a suitcase filled with money that he stole from the reservoir dogs his arms we're back and you seen me regained what little sanity he had left

From the shadows, two of his crew emerged behind him mimic and Corona

Corona got off on the phone: the guy said that they found a good hiding spot for us at least for now

Mimic with his little temper tan: still hard to believe in another world and we're still having to hide like a couple of rats the world should know who the Yaki is is!

Overhaul remaining calm: remember the deal we made with the person who freed us that he gave me back my arms. We have to lay low for a while until he puts his plan into place besides even if we were bound by those agreement I would still say that we need to lay low we don't know anything about this world. We don't know who is in charge. We don't know the underworld but this couple hundred mil will help us get around.

Corona: you know when that guy first showed in my prison cell I thought he was mad but then he brought me to mimic and then to you and then I saw him heal your injuries like it was nothing then he brought us here a world where there aren't that many heroes as well as no all for one or all might

Mimic: not to mention that this world's greatest goody two shoes superheroes are already dead and buried. I think the only one we really need to be worried about is the green haired one. I saw him when we nicked that cash. I know that we're bound to this agreement we made with whoever the fuck it was, but why couldn't we take him out? He was standing right there we could've on the drop on him

Overhaul didn't disagree he wanted deku dead for destroying his plan as well as accidentally setting up how he lost his arms: I don't disagree with you mimic but I'd rather not piss off the person who gave us this chance so for now we'll play nice and go into hiding for a while at least then when it's time we reveal ourselves and will cure this world of its hero sickness

The three nodded as they disappeared into the shadows before overhaul had completely disappeared. He looked out of the alleyway where he could see people smiling happily whilst wearing superhero match in memories of the Guardian of the Globe.

If it wasn't for the fact he was wearing his mask his expression could only read as discussed: filthy this place is covered in the hero sickness it's even infected the normal people... I will find a cure for it here and when I do the 1st to receive it will be the one that was a sickly as all of them Deku your days are numbered

Disappeared into the shadows content in hiding in the underground at least for now
