eve point of view

it's been around two days since the attempted invasion and things have been relatively peaceful at least that's what it looks like on the surface but I'm beginning to feel as if something is wrong, I'm not sure why but things just feel... Off lately

not sure what is maybe because no one seen the guardians in the past couple of days or maybe it's because deku just suddenly appears with something just feels not right so much so that when Mark a.k.a. invincible family at school and after a talk on the roof I invited him to join the team was mostly out of my own nerves I just shake the feeling that something is wrong

I don't think deku has anything to do with it despite how it was my first met he seems nice and well mannered and... Well little cute but I want telling what else that partly because the rest of my team other than robot don't really like much which is why we are currently arguing

after the battle cecil came up to us and told us that deku would be joining teen team at least for the time being and while I was okay with that robot was okay with that Kate and Rex were not there was still sore about deku beating them the first time we met and they weren't looking forward to working with him

I was on the fence about it I knew that there was something up with the newbie he seemed more skilled than any rookie I never seen the basically defeated that invasion single-handedly so I wasn't rookie but that didn't make any sense because I never heard about a superhero in green with his kind of powers not anywhere in the world actually are pretty sure that deku is at least on the same level of power as the guardians of the globe maybe slightly less that much should have been obvious considering cecil insisted on him working with us if it was just a rookie he wouldn't be getting such special treatment and such good recommendation from the global defence force

however I'm the only one who seems to notice this robot doesn't really care which is not surprising but Rex is... Well being Rex: I Believe this shit! We are actually expected to work with the guy that almost killed us!

Robot: despite your injuries Rex you and Kate were in no real danger, if he was trying to kill us I believe we would already be dead

Rex: robot don't say that we got totally ticked his ass he just caught us off guard I could totally taken by myself

I roll my eyes at Rex's ignorance or just cockiness, does he not understand deku did something that even with all of us working together we didn't do he beat an entire invasion by himself more than that he scared them away they not see that how incredible that is

invincible was here mainly just to hang out: with you guys talking about deku? He's gonna be on the team... That's pretty great actually I like him

rex: what you know about that Iceman you barely talk to you were too busy freezing up

he looks at me with a small look of content but I give him the shut up block and he immediately stops, Mark goes back to explaining: actually no I met him back up when I went to take that old lady to the hospital we spoke for a while he's a pretty good guy and he apologised for knocking out my teeth the first time we met he was kind of in a drugged out state not to mention... Confused very very confused

kate: you can say that again he called me twice whoever that is, he called robot spinner and he called the Rex dabi whoever that is confused he seemed more delusional... Can we trust this guy mean he could turn us

Mark: I think he was just scared and confused at the time he's a good guy with my problem, and all it took was just us talking and he understood what it was like to freeze up and he told me that that's okay everyone does it even him more so than he would like... Even told me about a time he wanted to run away but he couldn't because he was so afraid but he managed to swallow a sphere if only for a second and do something didn't specify widespread he seemed pretty determined

It does seem like the type I don't know why but I got the impression that deku is incredibly stubborn as well as he doesn't seem to value his own life too much if he did he wouldn't of took a risk by taking all those shots from those aliens didn't even flinch it was like he was okay with risking his life to prove the theory that is concerning I do have to wonder... Does he value his own life

rex: whatever the guy's super work to do was oppose the metres yesterday but he didn't show up wonder why that is maybe Mr Emo reliable isn't so reliable after all

then all of a sudden cecil teleported in surprising everyone: it's not that is unreliable it's the fact that he is too reliable

kate: what the hell does that mean where is the grain bunny Demon

cecil: where is been for the past day and 1/2 now when I told him he was going to be working with you he said he was fine with that but he would wait for introductions later deku is waiting

I raise an eyebrow: waiting for what we've been here basically the whole time

cecil clarified: not waiting for you is waiting for those bastards to return, after the little chap we heard he went back to where the invasion started sat on top of a rooftop and that's where he's been for the past day and 1/2 just waiting

holy shit he's been waiting the whole time for those guys to return but were not even sure they will return so this just been hanging out on a rooftop: way: it was raining last night he went home at least didn't he

the man shakes his head: no he hasn't moved it takes breaks to rest we think that only happens once every three hours and he hasn't moved from that spot

okay I don't know whether to be impressed or slightly terrified by his stubbornness he hasn't moved for a day and I have just waiting for an invasion that may never come that either stupidity or a great deal of patience I can barely sit still for 15 minutes it is done that for a day and 1/2 now

Mark: why have you tried I don't know... Talking him down telling him that he could take a break or something

cecil: we've tried that but he refuses to move given food and water but it barely eats or drinks any of it is just sitting there waiting he's still there now the kids convinced that the invaders will be back soon and the exact same spot so that's why he's just waiting there

rex: okay so what the guys got no life how is that our problem when he did tell us this anyway

cecil: because despite how commended I am for this kids admiration and dedication as a dumping it's healthy from to stay on a rooftop for who knows how long since talking to adults and helping thought maybe talking to people's own age might help

I guess that makes sense maybe talking some of his own age might knock some sense into him however I seemed to be the only one up for the idea Mark wanted to help but he wasn't sure how the others were that much better Robards thought it was a practical use of his time and Kate didn't really care and Rex well... Rex: oh please with superheroes not therapists besides this is all just a ruse to get bored eventually we got to spend your entire life waiting for a miracle were kind of stupid moron is the kind of patients

slapping him on top of the head again I see that I'm the only one that's going to do anything so I head back to the invasion was and I learned on the roof of the building that is just waiting on sitting over the edge watching the cleanup crew there's a level of intensity in his eyes if he takes his eyes off of it for a minute something bad can happen I swear it doesn't seem like he's blinking

handing him the water I created he takes it He then pulls up a bit of his mask and I could see a little bit under it it looks roughly around my age maybe younger he also looks very tired but still the intensity in his eyes it doesn't waver it almost increases

the two of us just sit in silence therefore another two minutes and once again I have to be the one that breaks the ice: what are you doing here deku

deku: I'm waiting for them to return they will return I know it

yeah I gathered that but why is he waiting here pacifically: okay I get that bite... What makes you think the return to the same place

it pulls up his hand and displace three fingers: there are three reasons why; the first reason is because right now that spot there is the only spot they knew that was safe to teleport into raw they know boarding anywhere else could get them teleported into lava or something, the second reason it's an ideal place to deploy troops behind enemy lines in a city full of civilians it's a classic military tactic the third and most important reason is the way their commander looked at me

the first two reasons I understood completely and they made sense but what the come round of the invasion force have to do with anything: I'm sorry I don't follow

deku explains further: the way he looked at me there was vengeance on those eyes he wants a rematch, basically he wants vengeance right now this is the only place he knows it will be or at least we will show up so it only makes sense for them to appear in the exact same place

I guess that makes sense still gonna feels like is drawing at stores and is putting a lot of faith in that assumption: you spoken like you seen this kind of thing before

Well she wants me to be safe like any mother in the world it's just can cause the relationship to be rather strained to be honest me don't get me wrong I love her and she loves me it's just that I wish on some level we could agree on something

that does sound complicated but it does sound a lot better than my parents: it makes you feel even my relationship with my parents is worse

he shakes his head: no my reason is less heroic than that, I wanted to become a hero because I saw hero on TV that inspired me and I thought they were the coolest hero on the planet and whenever I would see them on the TV I would just be happy in manner what kind of things went on at school or at home whenever I saw this hero I was just filled with joy and I wanted to be that father people I wanted to bring other people joy I know it sounds childish truthfully that's all I've ever wanted to make other people happy

he's right it does sound childish but really sweet and is not like I'm want to judge has wanted to do something exciting and useful with my life so not really want to judge: it sounds fine but much different I wanted to do something exciting and useful with my life

deku: while not planning to stay here permanently if they are not coming back by the end of the week then I will move but I'd rather not take the chance even though this place can be closed down for at least a month I'd rather not risk any of the cleanup workers getting hurt besides there's no real harm got nothing else to do really so

The explosion got our attention and we turned our heads for portals identical to the one the other day open up and from it those green ass holes come back this time with more of them and with clearly better weapons some of them are even wearing metal suits

deku: their back sooner than I thought! eve call the rest of the team i'll try to hold them off!

But unlike a good plan except I didn't like the idea of him going alone as he jumped down to the roof and charge to straighten but even giving aliens time to focus on what's going on, I don't have time to call the team here I'll just leave them a text Rex always answers my text partly because he's always expecting a nude pic even though I told countless times I am never gonna send in one

so after I text them what's going on I jumped down and join the fight using my energy shields I cover deku as he starts throwing giant pieces of debris at the tanks

deku attacks don't seem to be even leaving a dent on the tanks: it seems as if they've spent their time wisely, I don't know if-

One of the ones in a massive text suit, smash through my barricade and pummelled Deku it was one with a scar. It was same one from the other day, but older, it was hitting him into the ground. It was clear that those big metal suits were built to fight him.

I wanted to help him, but I was too busy trying to hold up the barricades for myself, luckily, there were no if you need it all, because this part of the area was closed off. Thanks to Deku foresight was right. It was a good idea to keep this place closed off from the public, but still how we going to feel entire army even if the other team shows up I don't know if we'll stand much of a chance.

Deku recovering from his probably kicks, Neil suit up in the air and comes back to me: we're getting over run how long till the others get here?

I'm struggling to keep these fields up: assuming that I even saw my text message, I would say 10 minutes, maybe 5 if we're lucky!

Deku: but still too long, I don't think we're gonna-eve!

I look at him, but then he tackles me to the ground. My eyes closed, which is the second line I could hear screaming from the aliens and what sounded like rapid machine gunfire, I also heard Deku let out a cry of pain

When I open my eyes, I'm surprised to see Deku still on top of me, but he was hurt your scratch over his cheek, and his mask was shredded it was only covering half of his face

Get off of me, and that's when I noticed that the battlefield is just gone deathly quiet because the invading force is all dead my barricades shielded us from some of the attack which turned out to be ice that just fell from the sky killing all the invaders, but it didn't seem like someone who is trying to save us. It seems like someone was trying to wipe us all out in one fell swoop. I know this because Deku add some ice shards in his leg

I tried to help him, but he shakes it off and post them out: they were only small, nothing too big... I didn't even touch the bone

I'm relieved that he's mostly okay, still who could've done this and why it couldn't have been the invaders. Why would they kill their own people? For no reason, and if this was another hero, why didn't warn us that they were going to attack, unless with a aiming for us? And the invaders were collateral damage, but who would-

Another loud thud comes from behind us when I turn around, it's a man wearing a blue wool coat with arms made out of ice

Deku struggling to stand: ice uh... a thrill Nice work tried to sneak attack. You almost got me and Eve did your blood last until the last second and that's when danger sense picked it up.

Okay, I'm sensing a bit of a history here, not really sure what but I don't think these two are friends And then she just tried to kill me. I'm kind of pissed off to creating a bowl of Ingestre Road, Edinburgh blocks it with the ice

The ice that wasn't destroyed in the blast, gets reformed into some sort of pillar that he is able to stand on as it floats around: your reaction time is laughable, I saw that attack coming a mile away you have much to learn about using your meta ability

I think that was an insult, and it gets me annoyed again: well it seems like you've got a lot to learn to you. Don't worry I'll teach you it's a complicated concept so pay close attention

I form energy in my hand, and then launch it at my target : ice melt!!

I hit my targets were on at the ice pillar. He was using the fly around, shattered into pieces any falls to the ground or at least that's what I hoped for because in that instant, the ice shards around us broke apart, and started forming around him

The man in the blue jacket : I see that is pretty bad, but speaking of a lot to learn it is something you didn't know I control ice

And it seems to be telling the truth when the ice starts packing together and forming... I'm not really sure how to put this an actual ice dragon!

I cannot believe what I'm actually saying, I even have to rub my eyes to make sure I'm not hallucinating. This is unlike anything I've ever seen before the level of control he has is unreal : i've been training my body in mind for years now, not even taking time out for my studies training much longer than a hero or a villain. For that matter the grand commander helped me push my limits and now I'm going to use my teachings to kill you abomination!!!

He then launches his ice dragon straight at us

I was about to make a party, but Deku i've lit up and punched the sculpture directly in the centre, shattering it putting a stop to its salt. There was still pieces of it in the air.

Are attacker didn't see dismayed as he launched another barrage of attacks of ice from the sky: don't think your puny powers are enough to truly impact my creations!

Another Halestorm, I sure to get shut out as I use my barricade to defend us but feels like trying to stop machine-gun fire. I don't know how much longer I can hold this up: Who is this guy?!

Alright, so geten has made an appearance now, if you're wondering why I've introduced to my hero academia villains so soon it's just because @TheWanderingBlade As you know, is doing a fanfiction similar to this, in fact theirs inspired me to do mine and I didn't wanna just do a carbon copy of another fanfiction. I wanted to add my own things and I thought why not add someone from the paranormal liberation front to make a surprise appearance.

I just wanted my fanfiction to be different, that's the only real reason I did this plus I don't think Geten gets enough screen time, considering how powerful he is so I thought he deserves an appearance in my fanfiction
