Hey guys, just to let you know the next chapter after this one will include some heavy stuff just a heads up now also the next few chapters are going to be going off script just a bit of the original show well they're still gonna be somewhat connected just in a completely different way... I think you'll understand where this is going after you read this chapter I hope you enjoy

This chapter is pretty much gonna set up what's gonna happen in season two and a little bit of what's going to happen in season three

Mark's point of view

After everything that's happened it's nice to be up here in space. It's cool and it makes me realise just how small I really am in the grand scheme of things looking down at the Earth looking up at the stars realising that every single one of them is a star with its own galaxy with its own people... It's pretty nice to think about actually makes what happened to me feel a bit easier to swallow

I'm not completely over it, but I feel like without twice and izuku I would be in a much darker place. I just hope that my mom's gonna get through it. my dad was my hero and it turns out that that version I looked up to him. It didn't really exist, It was all just an act it was all just a ploy so they could gain the word trust so then he could turn earth into a breeding camp for some fucking alien empire

Now that I know I'm following a guy that's not even from our universe in a fight to stop the empire... This is not how I imagined being a superhero would go then again izuku did tell me that being a superhero isn't easy and it often comes with very bad surprises and if there's anyone who knows about that it's him right now

Anyway, the reason why I was in outer space came shooting forward and it was just as we suspected it was Alan

Alan the alien the alien guy that I thought a few months ago and told me that he'd been going to the wrong planet for the past 15 years

I hear his voice in my mind: invincible! Thank heavens I thought I was too late. I need to warn you-

I interrupt him as I finished his sentence: there's viltrumite living amongst my people right?

Alan, surprised that I knew: wait you already know

I nod: yeah it's a long story. How about we take a seat?

We fly over to the moon and I get some rocks ready for us. We sit down and we begin our telepathic talk. All alright, Mark, you know the plan. Izuku told you what you need to tell this guy... remember what he said

Flashback to 15 minutes ago back on earth

The recording of the Demon Lord was over and I swear you could hear a pin drop from the tension each one of us trying to contemplate what we had just heard because to me that didn't sound like the final testimony of a villain that sounded like a promise that he would return as well as a taunt to my friend as well

Since no one else was saying it, I will: okay I'll say it that was... The most disturbing thing I've ever watched and after the two weeks I've had that really is saying something Jesus Christ I mean he's gonna be lying about the hands right... Didn't Tony Stark live like 200 years ago by your worlds count Why would he keep his hands?

Izuku looks at the hands of his ancestors he looks depressed: the same reason he does anything... Because it's fun to him

Cecil: so kid... What do you plan on doing now? Cause from what I heard in that video he said he would be back which as far as I know should be impossible. He's nothing but a bunch of sludge now which by the way my team is picking up, there's not gonna be a trace of him left so they won't be able to clone him or resurrect him or do whatever the hell they're planning

Eve: that's right there's no way he can come back from something like that. I mean, it's impossible... Right?

We all looked too izuku for an answer and we got one just not the one we hoped for:... It is possible

Eve: but how! How could he possibly come back from that? There was literally nothing left of him?! How could he bounce back from the incinerating to nothing?!

Izuku explained in more detail: it's not... Exactly like coming back from the dead... You remember how he said he had a successor my cousin? Well he's the Demon Lord the one who lives forever so why would he want a successor?

Actually, now that he mentions that that is rather strange I mean from what I've seen and heard about this all for one guy, he's someone who wants to sit up on a throne or by himself as he looks down on the world for all eternity so why would he want to make a successor it just doesn't really add up: actually now that you mention it that is true. Why would he want a successor?

Izuku gripping his bedsheets sheet: because he's not a successor... He's all for one's new body

I could practically feel the tension building up as we realised what he was talking about, but Cecil put it into words: so it's like possession he's going to... Possess his successor's body is that something that's actually possible?

Izuku nod: unfortunately yes in a world of superhumans if you can dream it you can do it. You see all for one apparently copied his power somehow and the one I thought had the copied version and he gave the original version to tomura loud his essence or I guess a part of his soul to be embedded in his new body and then it was just a matter of overpowering the current occupant

Oh yeah, I remember him telling me something about that when tomura I tried to steal his powers izuku said he was in some sort of vestige world where he saw both all for one and tomura sort of like merging in a way, but it seemed more like a hostile takeover, apparently: so he takes over tomura body that's been modified and in a way he comes back from the dead and in our body much stronger and with the ability to bring instant death on a wide range... Why do I get the feeling that that was his whole plan from the beginning?

Izuku: because it probably was... In the fight he told me that he was finished with his fee by your body more than happy to dispose of it and start over I think what the rewound quark was supposed to do was weaken me and capture me so that way he could take me back to wherever the leak is hiding and they could hold me hostage until the new boss arrived. He steals my power and if I'm being honest, he probably was planning on destroying every bit of defence that this planet had while he still had the time make things easier for his new vestige to take over this world... But we put a stop to that plan however the league still active... So the plant could still be on

Eve: okay so what do we do?

Izuku: for now there's nothing we can do we can try searching for the paranormal liberation front and where they're hiding but they've probably covered the tracks well and if they have that teleporter they could be literally anywhere in the world plus we've got other things to worry about with the empire one problem at a time for now the league will probably be in hiding waiting for their next move, we might not have the same currency when it comes to the empire so we need to focus on fighting them first

I look at my friend he still seems hurt and upset not that I can blame him. He's now got to fight his cousin his own flesh and blood. I'm more than anyone can know how much that can hurt: are you sure you're OK? I mean... He is your cousin

Izuku: I'm not okay, Mark and I want to help him but... I'm not delusional. I know that there's not gonna be a Rosie happy ending for me and him. I know that even if I could somehow reach out and save him from the Demon Lord he's still done a lot of bad stuff and he still so filled with rage that he destroy this world... There is no happy ending between us and I've come to terms with that it's either him or the rest of the world... And I choose the rest of the world trust me it's not easy decision to make but you have to think about not just his life but everyone he's the embodiment of distraction for a reason and even if he did surrendered just because we're family doesn't excuse what he's done he chose to kill people long before he inherited all for one's power, there's no excuse for that so even if we are a family, I have to stop him by any means necessary

Cecil: good to hear you've got your priorities straight kid... But as of right now I think you should take a break. You just save the world twice and you've just had major heart surgery... Take a week off I'll try not to bug you unless we absolutely have to.

Eve: and I would also like to be on break for a while... Hey I technically died and somehow my powers managed to save me I don't know how but... I didn't exactly like the feeling. I just wanna know how I did that and maybe I can do it again.

Cecil nodded: that's fine with me considering the fact that you and those other villains turned... I guess superheroes saved us

Izuku: I've actually been meaning to ask... How are they?

Cecil: they're alive and they should be able to make a recovery, but it will take some time before they're back to full capacity though we are having trouble with the resident behemoth nothing too serious we're just having a hard time finding stitches that will work for him that all of them are unconscious right now, but they should be fine in a couple of days but since you brought it up, I was thinking that maybe-

he stopped talking when he suddenly got a cough through his earpiece: dammit someone's coming in from deep space

I immediately think of the worst case scenario: oh my God, is my dad back?

Izuku: probably not Cecil said that came from deep space considering how your father was when he left the planet I don't think he would've been able to get that far out and even if he did why would he turn around and come back? He's not in the right state to fight plus he has no idea what's going on on earth right now given the circumstances if I was him, I'll be trying to get as far away from here as possible

Eve: then who could it be someone else from the Empire?

Cecil then pulled up the image on the screen and it was a bit of a blur of orange and... Wait that's Alan Allen the alien

I stand up and I point: wait I know that guy it's Alan the guy I told you about you know the one who's been coming to earth by accident for the past 15 years... Wonder why he's coming back?

Izuku putting his mind into action: you said he worked for an organisation called the coalition of planets and he was testing to see that people on certain planets were able to defend themselves... Sounds to me like we found someone or rather another group fighting against the empire

My eyes widen: wait holy shit seriously you mean we're not the only people!

Izuku nodded: I mean it makes sense. A lot of people would be OK with just rolling over and submitting to becoming slaves.

Well, that's great: well that's a good thing right we need more allies and plus it seems like the coalition of plants in a better place to fight the empire than us. I'll go up there and I'll talk to him about-

Izuku stopped me: wait Mark I get that you're eager to help but we need to think about this... Remember we don't know who we can trust for all we know this Alan is working with the empire and everything he told you is a pack of lies

He could be right about that. I've only known Alan for like 10 minutes and for at least seven of those minutes he was beating me up still Alan didn't seem like he was lying: I get what you're saying I really do but... Can we really risk not trying to make allies against the empire? Isn't that exactly what we need?

Izuku: we do but let's not be too hasty... I mean let's look at this objectively one everything Alan told you that they could've been a lie set up by your father in case you ever went up to space to fight him. He could've been reporting what Nolan was doing on earth back to the empire or number two he is working in the coalition of planets that's fighting against the empire which we don't know if they are but we would also have to take it into account the fact that Alan had been fighting an enemy for at least 15 years without even realising it doesn't exactly sound like a really good ally

Eve backed him up on this: I agree with him what is it? They say? What one should not fear is a competent enemy but an incompetent ally if Alan didn't realise he was fighting one of his enemies it doesn't really vote well for him

Okay, I can definitely see that points and I'll admit Alan isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer assuming that he wasn't playing dumb when we met: okay but what can we do? We obviously need help to fight the empire right and defend earth can we really risk not gaining an ally in this coalition of planets? Isn't that worth the risk?

Izuku thought about it for a moment and nodded: it is but let's keep our cards close to our chest. I have a sneaking suspicion that whatever we tell Alan might get back to the ears of the empire maybe not by him directly but by someone else and I think we can buy ourselves more time if we spend a little story... Mark when you go up there tell him everything I'm about to tell you you got it

I can already tell that he's got a strategy in mind and it might be risky and to be honest it sounds a little crazy but I trust his judgement so I nod: you got it? Tell me what you want me to tell him.

Flashback over, yeah, I know it was a long time

Narrators point of view

Mark and Alan were sitting on the moon discussing everything or at least a version of everything izuku plan was quite simple. They would give Alan some information about what to transpire on earth but they would leave out certain details. He told Mark to tell him all about his father and as well as the fact that his father ran away, but as for why his father ran away that was the part that Mark had to twist

Alan repeating all the information he had heard in invincible's mind: so you're actually viltrumite but you don't work for them and your father tried to take over the world but he ran away... That's a little hard to believe

Invincible continuing with the bluff and trying to hide the truth the best he could in the back logs of his mind as he explained it all in his head: well yeah, I realise that it sounds crazy but it's what happened. Me and my dad fought and I managed to get a few good hits in weakening him a bit allowing some other heroes to help in with the battle and an individual managed to scare him away, frightened the living daylights out of him and he fled the planet, but honestly it wouldn't of worked if we didn't get an encrypted message from someone that was actually inside the Empire

The one eyed aliens eye widened: wait are you saying that another viltrumite that has betrayed the empire! But that's impossible. They're loyal to a fault

Mark shrug continuing with the charade: I don't know what to tell you man but it's what happened... But to tell you the truth we don't know who this spy is but we do know that he's definitely from the viltrumite empire he gave us key information that we used to defeat my father unfortunately though it's still cost many people their lives and a lot of people were greatly injured, including the person that was able to scare away my father

That was the part of the lie that Mark had a hard time selling partly because the one who made his father run away was the Demon lord the one responsible for hurting a close friend of his so badly and he was making it sound like they were allies, which only made his stomach turn But that is what izuku told him to say he gave a reason they needed the empire to believe that there was a potential threat on earth not enough for them to launch a full blow invasion but just enough to make them hesitant by claiming that he was injured. It would make the empire cautious and definitely not in the matter of mounting a full siege. The part about the spy in the empire was a pack of lies too izuku figured that if Alan wasn't the spy the coalition of planets probably did have at least one

He realised that the empire was arrogant and self-centred, but they definitely want stupid. They would've probably seen the coalition of planets as a threat and had a spy embedded in it either by force or by buying them and if they believe that there was a traitor amongst them it would definitely halt their invasion plans for earth because they would have no idea who to trust anymore. They would be chasing their tales looking for a spy that didn't even exist of course this lie was a double edged sword because now the empire would be even more cautious when it came to trying to take over earth but it was a risk with taking

Alan: I'm sorry for my outburst. It's just viltrumite don't just abandon their posts... Hell they don't run away. It's never happened before that relentless once they set their eyes on a planet they don't give it up without a fight believe me my planet knows they destroyed it instead of not conquering it

Mark saddened by this: Jesus I'm sorry

Alan: don't be if anything I should be apologising to you if I had read my instructions correctly I would've realised that earth was red flagged for viltrumite invasion I could've warned you

Invincible strongly disagree with that: I would've just gone straight to my dad and God knows how that would've ended

Alan: I can't imagine what you're going through literally I have no concept with my home plan gone. My people have to make breeding camps just to stop us from going extinct. I've never even met my real father.

Invincible smiled: after everything I'm jealous... But don't worry about me I've got friends helping me through this one friend in particular he's been a real inspiration. Hell if it wasn't for him I probably would've joined my father but I'm glad I didn't listen I would love to join the coalition of planets to help you fight the empire. I've got some friends that would be interested in helping that would be a great help but right now we've got to rebuild the battle with my father it was a lot and many people lost their lives, but when the fight comes, tell your boss will be ready

Alan: good to hear so what are you planning to do in the meantime?

Invincible thought about it after all the crazy stuff that happened there was only one thing that came to his mind

Despite the fact that there were many things going on on earth right this second

Titan had just returned to his office with his family after family night only to find someone sitting in his chair of his office getting in his stone form and stepping in front of his family: who the hell are you?!

The person turning the chair around revealing it to be overhaul: i'm your new boss

Meanwhile back on Mars the astronaut that was left behind and consumed by the brain creatures had completely taken over the Martian kingdom and now they had there eyes set on earth

On a distant planet, there stood battle beast still licking his wounds from his battle with izuku however that did not stop the warrior from training taking on as many strong opponents as he possibly could he sliced through another one of his opponents with a single blow

Back on planet Earth, the scene changes to the paranormal liberation front all looking at the tubes holding the guardians of the globe as they slowly transform into nomu

The mad doctor: just two more months and they'll be ready... But I believe it's time to put the masters back up plan into place

He moved his chair to another desk which held two vials of blood he picked both of them up one was labelled all for one and the other was labelled invincible

The doctor smiled: incredible even death will not stop my friends dream from coming through... Thank you invincible you've given us everything we need

Battle beast growled: these insects are not worthy of my time... Not like him green haired one we will meet again and when we do only one of us is walking away but for now I must train as I'm sure you are doing now I could sense it! You are stronger than you were when we battled! When our eyes locked, I felt my first stand on end. You are the one I was searching for the one who will end my curse the one who will give me a warrior's death! But if you are not the one then you will certainly give me a battle that I will saver for the rest of my life I will continue to train as I'm sure you will too and when we meet again our battle will rattle the very sky itself. Just a thought of it now as my fur are sticking on end I cannot wait for that day to come!

(yeah, battle beast will return just not for awhile while)

Back on Earth, in a darkened alleyway something was brought to the invincible universe something with a deep seated hatred of a certain green haired individual

The shadow the same one responsible for bringing all for one universe looked at the new figures he had dropped off: welcome to this new world

One of the individuals looked at it and saw the immediate difference between it. There was barely any people with power here to begin with this made him smile but then his smile immediately faded when he saw the face of the person he hated most in this world izuku on a billboard and despite the fact that his English wasn't brilliant, he could tell that the young hero was being praised which pissed him off even more

His other teammates felt the same they hated him with a burning passion: you said that we would be here and we could achieve our dream... But right now that fucking asshole is here too

The shadow: oh well then perhaps you should... Get rid of him

Another figure: easier said than done he's still fucking loser but... Even we can't deny that he's stronger. How are we supposed to take on a guy like that even if all of us team up he's still going to kick our ass?

The shadow: then perhaps you should go back to when he wasn't... The unique thing about this world is it has certain machinery that your people only talk about fiction

Another one of these izuku haters looked at the shadow confused and then changed to surprise: wait are you actually saying that there's like a-

The shadow interrupted: yes indeed and luckily for you I know exactly where you can find one and with your powers combined it should be no problem for you after all you are the elite are you not? and once you get this device destroying your enemy will be as easy as taking candy from a baby, not even his beloved....

The figures all smile at each other whatever reason they all hated the green haired hero and they wanted to see him dead but more than that they wanted to see him destroyed and thanks to this shadowy benefactor they were going to get to their wish

Back on the moon, Mark had time to think about what he planned to do next :....finish high school I guess

Alan complementing : that's good...that's good... What is high school?

okay, just to clarify a few things  Mark lied about how his father ran away as well as gave Alan false information in the hopes that we get back to the Empire and caused them to start suspecting and turning on each other with the fear of there being a spy in the empire itself I figured that if I was in that kind of situation that's what I would do. Give them false information and watch them chase their own tales looking for a spy that doesn't exist.

And as for the whole  army man running away thing is kind of like a way to show the Empire that earth isn't as weak or fragile as they thought and if they think that there's someone that capable of doing such a thing they'll think twice about messing with it... Of course I won't stop them from trying to take it over but they'll be more careful and a bit more patient... Plus they still don't know that earth knows about their dwindling population

Basically  izuku knows that he can't beat the empire with his strength alone. He's got to play it smart and strategise that's what he is planning to do so while the empire is chasing their tails trying to find a spy that doesn't exist he'll be building weapons to fight them and getting stronger himself whilst helping Mark get stronger as well
