A few moments before izuku entered the ring

Mark's point of view

We tried to stop Rex, but he wouldn't listen and the monitor teleported him into the fight and it wasn't even a second later before he was already getting the crap beaten out of him

I look at Eve who seems mostly unemotional about all of this : is this okay?

Eve shrugged: he asked for it but... it's not okay it's not okay that this guy is basically forcing izuku to fight this guy

The stranger with the book : actually my name is the monitor... So I understand that I hadn't personally introduced myself but please referred to me as that now

Izuku clenching his fist: okay "monitor"... I'll play your little game I'll fight muscular just get Rex out of there!

Eve: not alone you're not you're not going in there against that psycho by yourself

Monitor: unfortunately that's the only way... I will not let anyone else interfere with this fight except for Deku

Black Sampson: and what's stopping us from just kicking your ass and then the psycho's ass

The monitor remained an emotional as he just waved his hands and all of a sudden black Sampson suit just to fall apart: partly because I could defeat all of you in a matter of seconds... If I really needed to but I don't not if you comply by the rules only deku may interfere with this fight. None of you will be able to get past the barrier and I hope that you make your decision soon... It does not seem like Rex can take much more it looks like his arms are already broken.

We all turned our attention back to the... Well I wouldn't call it a fight it was more like watching a cat play with a mouse muscular being the cat and Rex being the mouse with the broken arms and broken legs as the villain stands on top of him screaming in victory

Deku clenching his fist: yeah I'll do it... But if I do this, you gotta get Rex out of there as well as heal up his injuries and I want answers

The monitor: very well as you wish I will heal up... Some of Rex's injuries and if you win this fight I will give you some of the answers you seek

I Across my arms: that doesn't sound very fair he's going to risk his life fighting a villain and you're just gonna give him half the answers

The monitor: you should be thankful that I'm giving you any answers at all... I would like to tell you everything I truly would, but unfortunately I'm already breaking enough rules by doing this if I tell you the truth you you don't want to know what could happen

Cryptic but scary as much as I wanna punch this guy until he gives us a straightforward answer I can't if he can just destroy black Samson suit with a simple wave of his hands and he can create a barricade that can keep my dad out. I don't want to think about what he could do to me if I piss him off.

Eve turned to izuku: you don't have to do this we can call Cecil we can figure something out

Deku: maybe but Rex doesn't have that kind of time and despite the fact that he's... Difficult i'm not going to let him suffer and die monitor teleport me in and teleport Rex out

The monitor nodded as he waved his hands and all of a sudden izuku was gone and was in the arena but Rex is still in there that wasn't until izuku kicked muscular off of him the two then said something to each other as they charged towards each other with their fist raised high they hit each other at the exact same time sending a shockwave that nearly shattered the glass

It was only then that I noticed that Rex was back and true to his word the monitor healed him... But only halfway

Rex: oh fucking hell I feel like I'm gonna shit blood...

Monster girl: by the looks of it you don't look like you have much to spare might wanna hold it in

Rex struggling to get up: why do you pull me out? I had him right where I wanted him... Seriously he didn't get a chance can't you see how desperate he was?

I'm not sure if it was the blood loss that was causing him to be delusional or if he actually believed that he was actually putting up a fight I know about muscular izuku told me and from what he told me what he was doing to Rex was just playing with him: Rex, I hate to tell you this but you weren't putting up a decent fight he was just playing with you. He could've killed you in the first blow.

Rex: no we couldn't... Oh Christ that hurts if he could've done that why wouldn't he?

I give him the honest a goddamn truth: because he enjoys watching people suffer Deku told me about this guy he's an adrenaline junkie as well as a sadist enjoys torturing his opponents playing with them until he finally ends them you weren't putting up a fight. He was just playing with you.

Rex tumbling forward: yeah right asshole you saw my explosions the way his muscles reacted I was totally kicking his ass. I didn't need that fuckers help

Eve sounding a little cocky: you might wanna rethink that Rex

We go over to the window and that's when we see muscular and Deku punching each other at high speeds I can't even keep track of their fists. They're going so fast neither one of them are blocking. They just randomly hitting each other.

The monitor: you all might want to take notes... You are about to witness two credibly determined people beat the shit out of each other. Hope you enjoy the show.

Izuku point of view

I hope I never have to do this again fighting muscular but looks like the monitor has other ideas in mind the two of us had locked together and we were punching each other as fast as quickly as we can. I know muscular is holding back with his strength and so am I but I'm also charging up with energy as I punch him I'm just trying to weaken down his muscles as well as get a good load of energy before the real fight starts muscular is just trying to hurt me. See if I've gotten any stronger and I have.

Finally, he kicks me away, but I use black whip to create an armour around my stomach, protecting me from most of the blast, but it's still hurt

Muscular cracking his neck: pretty good you have gone stronger... Good that will make this so much better!

I look upward towards where everyone's watching and I can see the monitor. He's now standing up watching the two of us. I gripped my teeth. I don't like playing his game but I need answers but I also wanna know what the hell is going on. How did muscular get here? The last time I saw him I handed him into the police.

Muscular always likes to brag shouldn't be too hard to get him to talk: how did you get here?... Did the monitor bring you here?

Muscular stretching his muscle muscles as more than began to grow out of his body from his back his legs his shirt looked like it was ready to pop: yeah he did actually. I was running in the cell infuriated that I didn't get my match with you not my proper one anyway then he just shows up tells me that he can take me to you so of course I said yeah thought it was bullshitting me, but then when he brought me here and I saw you, I knew he was telling the truth

Well, that's good to know. I can add adding in a prisoner escape to this list of crimes: did he have any other villains with him?

Muscular: no he said he was bringing me out for some test against you for some shit. I don't really care. You know me so long as I get to run wild I don't care what I have to do. I'm getting to fight you. It's just the icing on the cake and I just wanna say again revenge just gotten nothing to do with it!

That is probably as best as information I'm gonna get from him: alright then... You wanted a rematch let's have a rematch

Muscular looked thrilled: that's what I'm talking about and no cheap tricks this time

He expanded his muscles as they grew even larger

Muscular: just you and me going all out with our quirks that's what I want. I wanna feel that rush again give it to me!!

I raise my fists ready it's the only way or at least that's what muscular wants to think as if I'm going to listen to him with no cheap tricks

I activate smoke screen covering myself as I retreat back as I hear muscular slam against the ground, I know for a fact that I could take muscular in a bottle of strength but the damage it would do to my body is too much and I doubt that the monitor is going to heal me a second time so I gotta play smart about this head on fight should be the second option besides there are a few things I've wanted to try after my body was healed... Let's see if reading all those comic books helped

Narrators point of view

Up in the stands the heroes watched in confusion they couldn't see what was going on all they could hear was muscular screams of disappointment

Rex was the first one to speak up still injured but somehow managed to find the strength to laugh through his broken teeth: see that he's hiding like a coward

Eve resist the urge to slap her ex-boyfriend, partly because he was badly injured and she didn't want to be carded in for manslaughter: he's not hiding he's coming up with a plan... And did you hear he's not giving muscular what he wants?

Monster girl: i'll say this guy takes adrenaline junkie to a hole with the level. He's like an addict I mean, I've heard of obsession, but this kind of level is unbelievable. He only came here to fight Deku that's it that's all he wants he doesn't care about any of us up here. He's so single minded and focused he's like a junkie trying to get high again he's so fixated on that he doesn't realise what's going on

Rex: oh come on, he's not that impressive

The monitor seeming that no one was getting the full picture waved his hands and suddenly a display of izuku and muscular's first fight appeared right in front of the heroes there was no sound, but the visuals was all they needed

And then showed how izuku with a seriously broken arm smashed muscular into the side of a mountain knocking him out

The monitor turned to Rex who had lost all ability to speak for once : you were saying

The monitor turned his attention back to the fight. It was still foggy in there and it was hard to see but the monitor smiled. He knew exactly what his champion was doing and it's exactly what he wanted him to do... He was using his head.

Back in the arena muscular was getting impatient. He wanted his big brawl not a game of hide and seek but Deku wasn't having any of it this time there was no pressure to protect someone no pressure to stop muscular from hurting anyone. It was just the two of them in an arena which gave him the capability of thinking before he acted.

Muscular was having a hissy fit: come out and fight you coward!

There was no response izuku was carefully moving through the fog keeping out of the eye of muscular as he frantically looked around smashing the ground when he couldn't find his target

The villain then smiled getting a sneaky idea: you know what? It's fine. don't come out maybe I'll go back to that guy with the book and tell him to take me back home... And maybe I'll pay a visit to that little brat. what was his name again?...? I can't remember the kid that was... The son of the water hose heroes yeah that's right that one can't remember his name oh well, not important not like I ruined his life oh wait, I did.

In the fog izuku had stopped moving as he heard muscular taunt him and talk about coda. He tightened his hand and gritted his teeth trying not to give into his anger.

Muscular continue the taunt: we both know that if he didn't interfere with our last fight if he didn't distract me for just that second I would've crushed you into red paste... He interrupted our fights. It was the best fight of my life. I've never felt such a high I didn't want it to end but I had a job to do. I'm actually kind of thankful that he did interrupt otherwise I wouldn't be able to feel this again, but don't get the wrong idea. I fully intend to send that little brat to join his "mama and papa" I was kinda hoping that after I killed you a few years later he would come against me for revenge. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha can you imagine that I take away the three most important people away from him and he comes to face me only to die the same way!

Izuku fully knew what muscular was doing he was trying to taunt him and add him on to go into a fight and it was working the young hero could feel his urge to punch the villain get even stronger as he talked about Kota

The rest of the heroes up top could hear muscular taunt and to say that they were disgusted would be an understatement

Eve activated our power is wanting nothing more than to just burst into there and kill muscular herself. Invincible felt the same way he knew that muscular was bad but he never knew it was this bad.

Eve: I'm gonna kill him

Invincible: not if I get to him first... Jesus deku told me he was evil, but this is just a whole of the level if this is what muscular is like God help me I don't wanna know what you know who is like

Back in the arena muscular continued his chance about what he was going to do to the son of the Water hose heroes: that was my original plan when I broke out but now that you're hiding, I think I might wanna speed up the timetable maybe if I kill that little brat you'll stop hiding

There was a solid 10 seconds of complete silence and for a moment to muscular was about to speak again only four a shadow in the shape of deku to appear just 10 m away from the villain

Izuku voice came from the shadow: you're not gonna get that chance

Muscular without even thinking carrying on with his blood loss jumped forward and smashed into the shadow fumbling it to the ground at first he thought he had won the fight but then when he got a second look and calmed down a little from his bloodlust he realised he had been duped he wasn't attacking Deku just the remains of some of his costume, his torn mask bits and pieces of his clothes all match together to make it look like he was standing right there

Izuku the real one was still alive and muscular didn't see but he was standing on the roof using black whip to support himself: because you're going to be in a a max security prison for the rest of your life

It was then that a boat of lightning came down from the ceiling cracking it muscular looked up, but it was too late izuku had come down and it was too late to dodge too late to put up a defence he kicked muscular right upside the head with his metal souls on his shoes it wasn't enough to knock the villain out but it was enough to give him a mild concussion. It would've done more damage if it wasn't for his muscles protecting him.

Muscular was now dizzy and disoriented he started rapidly attacking everywhere, trying to get his hands on his target like a rabbit animal he punched and kicked trying to get out his target only to find his target wasn't even near him. He stepped away 10 m allowing muscular to tire himself out.

Izuku activating one for all in his legs and arms zoomed across punching muscular on the side using the built-up energy he got from their first encounter of the fight. It didn't hurt muscular that much it was the equivalent of getting an injection a mild pain. Of course that was just the first one. Izuku continued his zoom attack hitting muscular and then turning back around and hitting him again in a different angle over and over again muscular tried to hit his target but danger sense kicked in allowing him to dodge every attack and because he was attacking randomly because of his concussion muscular couldn't plan out his next attack. He was so blinded by his headache and blood fury he didn't think ahead.

Izuku plan was simple he he used to stored up energy he got during the first fight to slowly pinch away at muscular it was death by 1000 cut of course he needed muscular to say the same place which was easier said than done. He knew the only way that would happen is if muscular became confused and with the mixture of his blood lust he would become like a wild animal that's why he lowered him in with a trap then hitting him right upside the head enough to give him a concussion and lose whatever sense of reason he had left

It was then just a simple matter of running at the target using the built-up energy. He had sold up and started hitting him repeatedly in multiple different places death by 1000 cut as they would say after a few couple hundred punches muscular muscles began to peel back as he fell to the ground as blood started oozing out of his head from the injury from before

Muscular felt to his knees izuku zoomed up to him looking down at the once powerful man who for once wasn't smiling: I just wanted my fix I just want to be high

Izuku: yeah well, I think you need to go to rehab

He roundhouse kicked muscular across the head, knocking him out izuku had done it he had beaten muscular without so much of a scratch on him but he was exhausted using multiple quirks at a time was straining enough but using it all simultaneously multiple times it was another story entirely just before he was about to fall. He was teleported back up to the main room and he was caught by Eve.

Izuku completely out of breath: I... I'm okay I just I need a minute

Eve: yeah, I think you're gonna need more than that. You look exhausted. Come on I'll get you out of here. You should go to the hospital.

Izuku strongly oppose that idea: no no... I'm fine I just-

Eve wasn't having any of it: izuku I am taking you to the hospital. I don't care if I have to drag you there you are going do I make myself clear

The young hero suddenly got flashbacks of his teacher and judging by the expression he was giving him it was best just to go along with it: yeah okay... Sure, but just one second monitor

The monitor stepped forward as the other heroes made a path for him: you fought very well hero... Exactly as I hoped you you used your head, not your muscles very clever death by 1000 cuts

Izuku using Eve for support: I'm glad you enjoyed it... Tell me the answers I want now

The monitor: a deal is a deal however I don't think you're in the right state of mind to hear the answers you seek. I will return I promise but for now take a rest trust me when I tell you what I will you will want to be in peak condition.

Before the young haircut protest, the monitor was just gone in a blink of an eye he disappeared right in front of all of them izuku cursed to himself even more so when you noticed that the monitor had decided to leave muscular behind so now he was his problem

Izuku: I hate to ask this but can someone please call Caesar... When muscular wakes up he's gonna wanna fight again it would be best if he's in custody by the way then

Robot stepped forward: agreed I will call Cecil and let him know what has happened... I would say that it would be time to for the first new gardens of the globe meeting however it appears that you are not in the best shape we shall regroup after you have had time to rest

Monster girl who young hero surprised as well as Rex's had turned into a monster with a deep voice: don't worry, I'll take care of him in case he gets up by the way, that was fucking awesome

She jumped down and marched over to muscular picking him up and throwing him over her its shoulder as she carried him away

Izuku: you know what? After everything that happened today? That was probably the least strangest thing now I know why they call her monster girl

Eve: yeah, come on let's get you to the hospital

Izuku: yeah OK I thought invincible sorry but it looks like we're gonna have to postpone our flight

Invincible agreed: yeah man, I get it. I'll see you later okay? Rest up.

Izuku: I don't think Eve gonna let me do anything else

Eve: damn right I'm not now come on

She carefully pulled him along letting him use her as support as they walked out. The other heroes made way for him. The hatred that some of them felt towards the young man had vanished. They were all replaced with some level of respect and in some cases fear.

All except one Rex spoke up still holding his ribs: you know I could use a lift to the hospital

Eve stopped to put on a fake smile and turned into her ex-boyfriend: oh that's right you could... Why don't you ask Kate for that?

She turned away and started pulling deku along just a bit who was confused but he was too exhausted to ask any questions as he just let Eve guide him out of the room

Back in the room

Rex was disrupted he was angry with izuku he showed him up. It annoyed him so much ever since the green haired bunny showed up Eve had been spending more time with him than her own boyfriend. What was he supposed to think he thought to himself? The two of them spent some time together, obviously they were tapping boots behind closed doors but even insisted that they weren't but what he was supposed to think from an outside his point of view it looked like they were dating, anyone would've made the same assumption he thought

Robot stepped forward even here the robot could see that there was some tension between the supposed: Rex, what did you do?

Rex greeted his teeth frustrated or it could just be in pain stumble the way giving robot the finger: thanks for the help robot. Really glad to be on the team with you.
