I never thought I could ever be this happy being with Eve right now just flying through the sky together alone, it's the happiest ever ever felt a long time

We fly over everywhere because of my new powers I got a lot faster and I was able to get to other countries across the Atlantic Ocean we even stopped by Japan of this world it wasn't the same thing, but it was nice to have somewhat of Home

He finally got back to America and now we were chilling on top of Lady liberty which if we were in my world we would be arrested but it's not. It's not really much of a problem.

Eve sits next to me with her head leaning on my shoulder: today was fun, wasn't it?

Yeah, yeah, it was: it was great eve ... But just so weekly if by some chance we end up in my world I just wanna be clear we can never do that again the flying over the world part

Eve chuck: let me guess it's against the rules

I nod: yep in so many ways when corks were finally accepted by society people that could fly started using them to travel to other countries and well do you know how birds can sometimes cause accidents in aircraft well the same apparently applies to humans

I could tell by her expression, she could see why we have laws against that: yeah I can I can see that... Changing the subject. I wish that every day could be like this just me and you peacefully enjoying ourselves

I could practically hear the past users, even some of the guardians giggling inside my head: yeah I wish so too

Eve: but it's not going to be is it?

I wish I could tell her that every day could be like this, but no: no it can't be even though I wish it was possible

Eve: even with the self proclaimed Demon Lord dead the paranormal liberation army isn't going to stop is it?

I unfortunately nod: know they're not to be honest he was never there lead it to begin with the still loyal to the embodiment of destruction they still want to bring total anarchy to create their own version of paradise not to mention the Empire it's going to try to take over earth and kill. God knows how many people to get it.

Eve: you know thinking about it It's kind of ironic

I look at her confused: what is?

Eve: it's nothing really. It's just I find it ironic that the two armies we face couldn't be more different

I raise an eyebrow at the comment: how so?

Eve: well look at it this way the paranormal liberation Army wants to bring the world to its knees and destroy all forms of government so that they can live in a world of anarchy while the Empire wants to bring absolute order essentially enslaving us... When you compare the two of them they're like night and day I couldn't be more

She actually has a point. I never really thought about it but of the two opponents we now face they are complete opposite. One side wants to bring absolute order the other wants to bring complete and total chaos.

I nod: you're right of course, but their methods are the same. They were destroy everything and let's not forget shadow if that even is his real name... And the monitor

My girlfriend expression twisted when the monitor was mentioned: I fucking hate that guy. He says that he's going to give us answers but then he just disappears and when he reappeared, he says not yet and then disappears again. it's so annoying not to mention disrespectful he says he's trying to help us but honestly other than bringing you here as well as the others what exactly has he done to help us? He knew that omni man was bad from the start he knew about the empire and he said nothing all those people that got hurt and killed because of that that's on him

I couldn't disagree with her. A lot of people died with my fight with Omni man and all for one according to Cecil though the death count would've been a lot larger if I wasn't there still a lot of people died and they're still finding bodies in Chicago rubble on a more positive note, they're finding more people alive.

Still, all of that could've been avoided if the monitor was just 100% honest with us: I agree with you, but if nothing else, I think we can trust the monitor if nothing else he did manage to convince Mark to join our side and not his fathers

Eve: yeah by emotionally scarring him by showing a version of him killing a child I get the fact he's a cosmic being and whoever shadow is is also a cosmic being so we need one in our corner if we're gonna fight whatever the hell is coming still I don't like the monitor he's too... Stuck up he looks down on the rest of us. I get the fact that he's... A God but still he wants to help. He can just tell us what the hell is going on instead of playing 20 questions and leaving us with a bunch of riddles

I don't disagree with her. I'm getting tired of playing part of the monitors games still not much we can really do about it. The monitor said he's a cosmic being beyond our understanding. trying to force answers out of him would be like trying to force a way out of a steel prison using nothing but glass battering ram

Eve: I'm sorry I know we shouldn't be talking about this kind of stuff considering it's our first official day. It's just after everything that's happened. It's hard not to talk about it.

I agree with her: yeah we tried to ignore the elephant in the room and the fact is that a literal deity has decided to play a game with us and then there's the other scary thought

What if more decide to come down and join the game?

I mean, it's not a crazy thought to celestial beings are already taking an interest in my life and with those around me is it that crazy to assume that others might

I'm not trying to make myself sound like an important or special honestly i'm kinda hoping I'm not still it's apparent that whatever the celestial being are they've taken an interest in me for whatever reason I don't know

Eve: what are you thinking about?

How can she read me so easily: it's nothing really I just... Just been wondering what the hell is really going on here? I mean never in my life did I ever consider that I would be in another world and being the plaything of gods which is really conflicting for me because I don't believe in God... I just guess what I'm trying to say is I'm just happy for this moment of peace with you

Eve smiled: I'm happy for it too... And I know things are crazy and this probably isn't the way you expected your life to go but look on the bright side if this hadn't of happened we never would've met and let's be honest considering what the monitor said I don't think our world would be here if it wasn't for you

I smile back at her she's right sure there's still a lot of things I don't understand and I have a feeling that things are gonna get worse before they get better but there is a positive to this. I saved an entire world... All Might would be proud

I lean in and kiss my girlfriend and as much as I would want for this moment to last forever we should get back to my workshop before it gets too late

I stand up and give Eve a hand up as well: I think we should head back to my work- ahhh!

I thought to my knees as I grabbed my chest in pain no not this again not now

Eve concerned: izuku are you okay? What's wrong?

The pain lobe side to a moment and I'm able to get back up, but I can still feel it pressing against my chest: it's fine I... It's OK I'm I'm good

Eve crossing her arms still looking concerned but a little annoyed: you just fell to the floor agonising in pain. You're clearly not okay what is going on?

There's no point in hiding this from her: it's the arc reactor... it's keeping me alive but my body is just taking longer than I thought to get used to it. I mean it's to be expected. I have a literal generator in my chest.

Eve seems to accept the answer: oh... Well OK but you're not flying back like this I'll carry you in a construction... Are you sure you're okay?

I nod: the pain comes and goes... But it's been getting less painful. I just need a little longer for my body to get used to the reactor then I'll be better than before.

She seems to accept that answer as a pink bubble forms itself around me and Eve flies off carrying me behind her. I smiled at her as she smiles back then goes back to focusing on flying.

When she does my smile drops I lied to her? I told her that the pain is going away but it's actually been getting worse. It started out small but now it's getting harder to hide it.

And I don't know how to fix it or even if I can

Narrators point of view
Around the same time that Eve and izuku were coming back from the world tour date the guardians of the globe that had recovered from their invasion were in the middle of their newest greatest battle against The giant

The giant had come out of nowhere and had started trashing up some bits of Chicago that were not destroyed in the big battle between the Demon Lord and the hero and considering that most other heroes were out of commission or on other missions, it was up to the guardians of the globe to stop the rampaging giant

Unfortunately, they weren't doing so well they were saving some civilians but not enough and the giant was still rampaging and it seems as if the guardians were still unorganised doing their own thing to bring down the giant

Cecil, who walked in the control room that was watching the battle unfold: Donald, how does it look?

Donald: not good sir the guardians appear to be struggling against this giant they could really use them back up they could really use... Invincible or perhaps Deku

The leader of the global defence agency thought about it for a moment but let out a sigh, neither one of those heroes were ready to be out on the field. Mark was capable but it was clear that his mental health had taken a severe ass kicking after finding out his dad wasn't the hero. He thought he was plus with his identity exposed to the paranormal liberation army it was Best that he kept a low profile for now.

And then there was the hero of the world Deku a.k.a izuku and as much as he wanted to send the kid in to fix this problem, which he knew we could he also knew izuku was still recovering from the battle and as well as his mental health taking a beating as well finding out that the so-called Demon Lord had been manipulating him his entire life not to mention killing off his bloodline as well

Cecil: izuku still recovering and Mark... Well I'm not making the same mistake I made with Nolan the only way that kid goes back out there as if it's on a very short leash besides we have an alternative option... Has the public been evacuated?

Donald: mostly sir they should be clear in five minutes

Cecil: good then we send in the new assets

Back with the guardians the fight had not improved in the slightest the giant was still on a rampage frightening civilians that were retreating

Rex throwing his explosives at the giant feet: that's for stepping on my car you piece of shit!

The giant taking the blast like there are nothing marched over to Rex furious: don't call me that I'm the giant!

The giant responded with trying crash wrecks with its giant hands but he managed to dodge and all the giant crushed was a bus that was thankfully empty

The giant then grabbed a piece of rubble and then threw it at robot while having his own tantrum: and I want to be president of America... And an astronaut!

On the ground debris from the giant rampage/tantrum was about to hit a civilian but Kate pushed them out of the way: those are-

The clone of Kate was crushed underneath the rubble but the original grabbed hold of the civilian that had cloned pushed out of the way: very pacific demands!

Robot or rather now Rudy was lying in his new robot suit similar to izuku iron man one but it still had the same design as robots drones inside it was robot in his new body

Looking through data he had received from the giant: based on vocal patterns and state speech, I would say that the giant has a mental capacity of an eight year-old

Kate running away from the giant with someone strong over her shoulders: well explain the astronaut part!

Shrink attacking the giant punching it in the eye: maybe we can get some comic books that's what eight-year-olds like right

Sampson ready to throw a car: I don't care how old he is he's still going!

Robot: an excellent idea Sam there is a-

Before robot could come up with his plan he was bashed out of the sky by waving hand of the giant and before he could recover the giant was about to step on him and for the first time in his life robot froze he felt... His body tensing up he tried to come up with a plan, but for the first time his mind was blank

Monster girl noticed it that her friend had froze: Rudy!

She was able to get Rudy out of the way of the Giants foot before it crushed him

The Giant: I will be an astronaut! And then I will-

A gunshot echoed in the area as the giant grabbed hold of its eye in pain as it screamed

The giant in pain: oh my eye!

On a rooftop at least a mile away from the battle there was one woman standing on the roof rooftop looking at the scene

(ignore overhaul in the background)

lady nagant kept firing at the giant aiming pacifically for its eye, forcing it to step back

The former hero turned assassin now turned back hero spoke to an earpiece: all right, gentle, he's in position your up gentle

Back with a fight behind the giant, there stood gentle criminal

Gentle, smiling: understood my lady I will play my role perfection

lady nagant not impressed: enough with the theatrics just get it done

Gentle placed his hands on the ground as he did he activated his power turning the ground into elasticity as a giant stepped onto it. He lost the balance and started bouncing on it completely confused

The giant: what going on why ground so bouncy?!

The giant was launched up into the air, still confused and slightly blind as this happened. The guardians looked confused. This was not part of their plan.

Gentle looked up and smiled: the plan was a success... It's all up to you now my giant friend

He turned around to the giant that was standing behind him who slowly nodded

gigantomachia who was wearing a cloak that covered himself in his smallest form as he stepped forward into the light and bounced on the bouncy concrete until he joined up in the sky with the giant

The giant: who you now?!

gigantomachia: everything that I do is for the glory of my masters!

The behemoth grew to his full size and punched the giant back into the ground, crashing the concrete and putting him under a parking lot

Shrink: I have no idea what just happened but now our-

Gentle stopped her from jumping in: apologies my dear, but I think you should step back... after all it appears it's going to

He used his cane to point upwards to show that the giant wasn't the only behemoth to fall out of the sky

gigantomachia crashed back into the ground on top of the giant knocking him out. He carefully stepped out of the hole shrinking down to his smaller size, but still the size of a car

The behemoth spoke slow:... He is down

Gentle: excellent work my friend... it appears that we have completed our miss

lady nagant on the rooftop as she transformed sniper rifle back into her hand: good... Leave the clean up to the guardians season wants us on standby in case the paranormal liberation army attacks

Gentle: understood see you in a bit

Gentle and the giant began to walk away, but Rex got in front of the two of them: hold on wait a minute you can't just do that

Gentle: young man, I have no idea what you

Rex: don't give me that gentleman bullshit you just stole not thunder we had it under control

lady nagant that came flying in: that's not what Cecil so that's why he sent us in... And I gotta say he's right it's been a while since I've been a hero but I'm pretty sure when someone with a giant quirk the heroes of our world would've had it sorted within five minutes. That fight was over 10.

Rex: well excuse us, but we're not in your world, lady all those guys that those heroes took down a bunch of posers

Gentle: while it is usual that people with that kind of cork are usually street thugs however it appears that you were struggling against... An 8-year-old

Rex getting angry now: oh you oh well, I'll show you!

Samsung: Rex enough!... They're not wrong that was taking way too long and Rudy froze up halfway through explaining his plan these guys saved us

Rex: what the fuck are you talking about? We had him right where we wanted him. we had it handled.

lady nagant: look around... Does this look like a handle situation?

The guardians looked around and it was clear that the human sniper had a point the buildings were partially destroyed. There was rubble everywhere there were people injured or dead.

Kate: we... We did our best

lady nagant: sorry to tell you this kid but your best isn't good enough you're supposed to be the best superhero team in the world and right now all I see is a bunch of amateurs! Hazel word of advice if you really want to work as a team... Then fucking work as a team none as a bunch of individual idiots dancing around while people are dying

Rex: oh get off your high horse weren't you a former villain? Where the fuck do you get off Lecturing us?

lady nagant: you're right I was a former villain but I was also a former hero before that and I was in the top 10 of Japan... Which by the way ain't easy in my world in hours to be the best isn't it? Just about stopping the bad guy? It's about saving lives. You guys claim to be the best... In reality if you went up against the best of our world you wouldn't even be able to touch them. so how about you think before you talk shit?

The former assassin pushed past Rex followed by gentle and The behemoth who just walked aside from the other heroes

The three of them were teleported away by Cecil which infuriated rex even more

Rex: oh come on the teleporter that's so fucking unfair!

Monster girl who transformed back into a normal self: well you can't exactly blame them I mean it's not like gigantomachia could just go on the subway train and him walking around, we're just freak everybody out

Rex crossing his arms, not wanting to admit that he saw monster girls point: still fucking unfair

Shrink: say what you will they had a point... And they're right those guys took down the giant and literally 30 seconds. It took us 10 minutes to so much has come up with a plan to which Rudy got distracted and didn't tell us

Rudy looking down ashamed in his new: I froze up. I don't know what happened. I just-

Monster girl interrupted him: it's fear Rudy... For you you've been playing a video game and now it's real but don't worry you'll get used to it just like the first time you used the toilet

Rudy feeling a bit better: still it is unacceptable... I'm supposed to be the leader and I failed at giving basic commands

Sampson: speaking of commands I thought the big guy only listened to izuku and Eve and yet it seemed to be following gentle orders

Kate: maybe izuku told him to listen to gentle when he's not around according to the book that he gave us gentle wasn't really a bad guy even when he was a villain he was actually a pacifist... He might trust gentle to give the giant proper orders still those guys barely know each other apparently and they're working together as a well tuned machine look at us we've been working together for months and we still can't it right?

Rex: yeah, well, we will be acting like a team if you guys didn't stop me from wiping off the blood

(OK yeah in this timeline the guardians didn't wipe away the blood because they didn't see themselves ready well Rex did but the others didn't because that's something that's always been bothering me about the first season. I did not see the guardians ready to be a team and when they wiped away the blood it just felt like they're trying to make themselves feel better.)

Sampson: because we're not ready we got our asses handed to us by a bunch of strangers that just decided to pop into our base and if it wasn't for invincible Eve and twice we would be dead now or because you decided to follow your dick right into the lions den!

Rex insulted: fuck sake, how many times do I have to say? I'm sorry she was hot. I didn't think she was a fucking lunatic!

Shrink: sorry doesn't fucking cut it Rex we almost died because you thought you could get somebody by letting some random stranger into our base! Who by the way fucking copied all of the GDA files as well as getting a back door system into it, allowing them to wreak havoc in their systems! fucking sorry doesn't doesn't even begin to cover what you did and then you wanted to wipe away the blood like it was some sort of achievement. It wasn't. That was your fuck up that nearly costed our lives as well as the lives of those people in Chicago

Rex: for the hundredth time that's not on me that's on deku because he couldn't defeat the big bad Demon Lord quick enough

Monster girl: do you still fucking think that he destroyed? Chicago? He defeated Omni man and you think you could've taken him down? Better? Jesus fucking Christ Rex how arrogant are you?!

Grinding his teeth, Rex put his hands in his pocket storming away: you know what Fuck this? i'll see you back at the base enjoy clean up

(I know that a lot of you guys are gonna be on my ass about how Rex is but in this timeline he really did screw up. He let toga into the guardians of the globe base because he wanted to get laid. There's no way that the others are just gonna forget about that. And because of that they never had the moment where they wiped off the blood trying to sustain themselves as an actual team so yeah, they're gonna be angry with Rex for a while)

Black Sampson shook his head as he watched Rex walk away: you know sometimes I just don't understand that guy

Shrink: well look at it this way what else could go wrong today?

meanwhile in a warehouse at the docs
Angstrom led the molar twins to his big project: sure I'm a genius, but I'm not the right type of genius

He then showed to the cloned brothers something that they found familiar as well as exceedingly interesting

Angstrom: recognise this

molar twin number one: that's one of our somatic encoder

The other twin: but bigger

molar Twin number one sarcastically: I hadn't noticed

Angstrom continue to explain as his new partners began examining his work: exactly I based it off of your design it's supposed to read , copies and write human minds or at least it should

molar twin number two: you can't get it working

molar twin number one: I bet you can't what does this thing seat 100

Angstrom: yes 100 but-

One of the twins interrupted him: the connector buffers crash out

Angstrom: I thought I had enough

molar twin number one: that's not gonna cut it you'll need twice as many processing units to get what you're trying to accomplish

Angstrom let out a small laugh in victory: ha ha this is exactly why I broke you two out of prison. How long to get it working?

molar twin number two: not long but first two questions one why do you need it? And two?

The other twin: what's in it for us? And no more bullshit about stranding us in another dimension

Angstrom: alright alright then allow me to appeal to your thriller and Tropic nature

The twin raised an eye eyebrow intrigued: go on

Angstrom snapped his fingers and as he did a bunch of green portals appeared behind him

Angstrom explained as the twins looked through the portals exploring the other world: there's an infinite number of dimensions out there and a couple of months ago. I gained the ability to access all of them.

molar twin number two: only a few months ago what happened?

Angstrom shrugged: I wish I knew I woke up one morning and as I was having my morning coffee, I waved my hand and a portal opened up leading to a dimension where dogs ruled the Earth I spent the last couple of months trying to master disability and trying to find a way to best use it to better humanity

molar twin number one sarcastic: how noble

Ignoring the comment, angstrom continued: some dimensions are similar to ours. Some are different in drastic ways for example you remember that world changing battle between Deku and the villain known as all for one in every other universe that never happened because neither of them were there and because of that Omni man and invincible teamed up to take over earth

molar twin number one: you're kidding

The other one: and we are the bad guys

Angstrom: now what's important? Is that each dimension has something unique and valuable? Shakespeare's we've never read, technology beyond our understanding new ways of thinking philosophies of peace

He snatched his fingers and all the portals disappeared: all our problems famine, global warming war has already been solved somewhere else and it's my goal to bring it all here and create a utopia

molar twin number two crossed his arms he found an interesting but nowhere near appealing: sounds like fun

molar twin number one felt the same way: but saving lives isn't really our jam

Astrom ignored that comment and continued to explain: to do this I need infinite details of each dimension good thing we've always been inquisitive

One of the twins confused by that comment: we've always been?

Angstrom then open the door to another part of the warehouse that was filled with... Him

molar twin number one: okay I did not see that coming

molar twin number two: because you're the clone

Angstrom: they're all different versions of me. They don't have my ability but they do have something more valuable intimate knowledge of their own universe and I've stored 10 more times in warehouse across the Multiverse... just enough to help I would've tried to find more but in a lot of other universes I am either presumed dead or missing

(that's a reference for the other Angstrom that collected other versions of himself again. The Multiverse is literally infinite. I have a hard time believing that all versions of Angstrom were killed)

molar twin number one: all things considered I'm actually impressed you were able to set all this up

Angstrom: well I can't take all the credit speaking of which... I'd like you to meet my partner and all of this

The twins were led to a In a highchair with a happy smile

Introduced them to him: doctor Kyudai Garaki I've got some help to deal with the problem

Kyudai Garaki: excellent excellent my boy we soon on our way to making this world a utopia

molar twin number one: who the hell is this guy?

Angstrom: he's a doctor that I got in contact me when I got my powers he's been helping me learn to use them all of this was his idea

Kyudai Garaki cheerfully chuckling: oh nonsense you would've figured it out without me Armstrong I just helped you get to where you were always meant to be

Angstrom: thank you doctor now I know that you guys don't do this for free so how about this? I'll give you any single dimension you want after this is done on the condition that you don't hurt anyone ever again.

The twins looked at each other and smiled: we want a dimension with no superhero

The other twin: good food oh and a population that thinks where gods

Angstrom: alright then let's get started are you coming doctor?

Kyudai Garaki: unfortunately not I must continue the calculations for this grand undertaking. The last thing we need is for something to go wrong at the last second I will join you in a bit.

With a nod, the interdimensional traveller let his friend get back to work on his computer away from the other variance of Angstrom as he worked, he pulled out a communicator from his lab coat pocket

He spoke into it quietly: everything is going exactly as planned

A creepy smile could be seen on his face as he looked at the computer, has he finalised the final parts of the plan

Kyudai Garaki Speaking into the communicator: it won't be long now until our masterpiece comes soon deku you will realise that.....
