Hey guys, just so you know this isn't as long as I've made the previous few chapters only because I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things for this fanfiction I got so used to the battle between Deku and all for one I kinda just need to refresh myself on some of the other stuff I had going on in the story

Eve point of view

I woke up and I was in the hospital wing of the Pentagon. I was heavily breathing as I checked my body and there was not even a scar but I was certain that the Demon Lord impaled me but there's not even a sign of that and... I might be imagining this but my body is... "different"

I know that it's not really the time to think about it, but have my boobs gone bigger?

(for the record that is something that happens in the comic books)

But I can forget about that for now I try getting up but I stumble just a bit I need to find  izuku I need to make sure he's okay using my powers. I quickly get into my civilian clothes as I walk to the door.

But Cecil walks in : you should be in bed eve

I tried to respond to him, but my mouth is dry and I feel dehydrated. How long was I out?

Cecil: to answer what I'm assuming is your first question is you've been out for only three hours... We found you and izuku together in the rubble about 5 feet away from what we assume is left of all for one we don't know why but you're extremely dehydrated I might have something to do with the fact that you came back from the dead

I came back from the dead... I try to use my powers to create a bottle of water. I was able to create some water but my powers weren't working right I was able to drink the water though and I was finally able to speak

Taking deep breath: what...? What happened?

Cecil: well after you defeated the Demon Lord had my people pick you and izuku up your roughly okay? We brought you here just to make sure. We also managed to pick up the other guys that helped in the fight. They're gonna be fine a few cuts and bruises and a couple of broken ribs, but they'll make a full recovery in a couple of weeks.

That's good to know, but that's not what I really wanna know: how's izuku

Cecil doesn't answer me: just focus on recovering yourself

He tries to walk away, but I don't let him: how is he?

She's all that out of sigh and hands me a walking stick as he leads me out to the corridor: when we found the two of you you were roughly in good condition like I said but the kid... Well the fact that he was still in one piece astonished me

That doesn't sound good : but he's got super regeneration now right... Can't he just heal himself?

Cecil : that's what I thought too but for some reason it's not working, the monitor showed up for a brief five seconds and told us that izuku abused his body too much he took on too much damage too much that is healing ability couldn't keep up with if he was able to evolve into his full form he would be able to recover from anything but since his evolution was interrupted. His healing factor was only partially added and apparently it will get stronger in time. It's just gonna take a lot longer than it would if he was still in the cocoon. and before you ask, yes, I did ask him to heal the kid but he said he couldn't something about the cosmic balance already been thrown out of balance way too much or something along those lines.

Well, at least the monitor showed up: well at least he showed up... What's the damage like?

Cecil : I could sugar cut this but there's no point. Chicago was completely wiped off the map. There's no remnant of that part of the city except for a bunch of rubble we're already estimating a high number of deaths. The kid managed to save at least a handful of hundreds of people but compared to the thousands we suspected dead. it's not exactly a well comfort.

(for the record that means that all for one and Deku caused much more damage than Omni man versus invincible in the main series)

Damn... If only we were able to stop him sooner: what about the guardians?

Cecil: well they got their asses handed to them on a silver fucking platter all of them are going through operations as we speak the public doesn't know how badly the guardians were beaten up or why they didn't interfere with the fight right now we're just telling them that they were up against something else at the time and we're unable to get away... The public cannot know how easily we nearly came to losing the world to a psychopath in a suit

That makes sense and it's still hard to believe that guy predicted everything Omni man betrayal the fact of the guardians needed to be taken so that they wouldn't interfere with a fight he even managed to force Cecil on the sidelines

I always thought that my boyfriend was exaggerating when he told me about his nemesis teacher, but now I see that he didn't do him justice that man was insane and also smart. He knew exactly what he was doing.

Cecil: as for Mark, he's out there right now helping with trying to find people in the rubble of Chicago we told the kid to go home to his mom and take a break, but he refused saying izuku did the fighting for both fights the least he could do was try to help out with the rescue Twice is with him too, and I don't like trusting a villain with getting civilians out of the danger zone but he's proven to be helpful. His clones are really getting a lot of people out there. besides we don't have much of a choice apparently while the Demon Lord was fighting and the guardians were under attack along with us other superheroes were attacked by people who look like civilians but fought like first class super villains.

Those must've been other soldiers in the liberation army they've been living amongst us this whole time and we had no idea: how many heroes do we have left?

Cecil: we lost about 15 other heroes in those battles seems like their main focus was to make sure that the heroes were unable to interfere with the fight not kill but we still lost a few and most of them have injuries that it's going to take them a while to recover from... I just can't believe it all my years doing this job I've never been this tight on the ropes

I can't blame him after everything. I've seen nothing compared to what I saw today. so many people died and for what for some sick old man's demented dream.

We finally arrived at izuku and what I saw made my heartsink there he was my boyfriend laying on the bed unconscious with tubes in his mouth and in the centre of his chest, his arms and legs were in cast his face was swollen too, and it looked like he had been bleeding judging by all those bandages

Cecil: the kid has multiple broken bones. His ribs are a mess. His organs have taken on a lot of damage. A bit of his lung is missing and he might have brain damage too but the main problem we have is his heart.

I look at Cecil try not to cry: what's wrong with... What's wrong with his heart?

Cecil pointed to the tube, but it was in my boyfriend's chest: right now those tubes are the only thing keeping his heart beating all for one did a lot of damage to it honestly the fact that the kid was able to still stand after being impaled in the heart is astounding we have a method to heal him but... if it does succeed, he's gonna have to carry around a bunch of tubes for the rest of his life. There's no way he can be a hero after that.

I look back through the window and I could see the heart monitor just beeping along but it was going slower than our usual heart rate he was in trouble and there was nothing I could do to help him sure I was able to somehow rebuild myself after I got impaled, but I still have no idea how I did that or even if I could do it again

Cecil: you can go in and sit with him if you want after what you just did. I think you should have some time by yourself.

I know as he lets me into the room and I sit down across from izuku it was still unconscious, but I decided to speak with him: you did it izuku you beat him... It's over... Please open your eyes you just told me you loved me and now you're going to leave me no you wouldn't please... I don't want it to end like this for us please open your eyes I need you
