I hate my phone sometimes. It's a Sony Xperia Z (Old but handsome) When we shifted from Australia to California, my mother went to get me a new SIM Card with me. To put it in, she had to remove the case. While she was sliding it in, she accidentally dropped it. It fell flat on it's back. The whole building was like 'Sssssss.' Yep. They were all hissing in horror. Many looked at me in sympathy. Especially because this phone is all glass. Glass screen protector, glass screen and glass back. The back was completely shattered, so she put on a new plastic screen protector on it, so that the glass won't fall. However, the system and software worked just perfect. Recently, she took it to change the shattered glass back. When I got it back after two days, I was beyond joyful.

But I guess I got too happy. Because life was like: "NO! WHY IS SHE SO HAPPY!? SHE AIN'T SUPPOSED TO BE HAPPY! BUT SHE WON'T BE FOR LONG! MUAHAHAHA!"

I got my headphones, connected it and got ready to binge listen to BLACKPINK, BTS and E.X.O.

What I got was horrifying. THE MEDIA SPEAKER WON'T WORK, AND THE HEADPHONES CONNECTION WAS POOR TOO. All I got was unequal, screeching music. Some parts, esp. J-Hope's rap was not heard.

I tried ALL my headphones, earphones and hands-frees. NOTHING WORKED. I even tried my mum's and all my brother's. I TRIED EVERY EAR/HEADPHONE AVAILABLE; mine, my mum's, my dad's, all of my sibling's, all of my cousin's, aunt's and uncle's. Even my friends.

The headphones weren't working so I tried the phone speaker.

The notifications worked. System sounds worked. THE FREAKING ALARM WORKED.

But media didn't 😖😖😖😭😭😭😭

"This one." I say, and handover my chosen song to my new manager.

"Excellent choice. Well done!" he says, once he read the title.

"We're here, sir." The driver announces, and smiles at us.

"Thank you, Wilbert." manager hyung thanks him and gets out. I thank Wilbert as well, before getting out of the car myself.

"Time to audition." he says as we stare up at the huge building of YG Entertainment. It's in a geometrical structure with gray as it's only color. We enter the doors, into the lobby.

I'm greeted by modern architecture, with a bkack and gray theme

"Good Morning, manager. The auditioners are all lined up, waiting for you." a lady in her early to mid thirties, hurriedly walks over to us, a couple of files, folders and papers, stacked up high, in her hand. She is remarkably pretty; her thick and beautiful, light brown haur is up in an office bun with a strong chin and nose, and beautiful, shining and warm honey colored eyes.

She's wearing a white, flared top, with a white bow tied on the neck paired up with gold, loop earrings and a pencil skirt in caramel shade of beige with skin stockings. She smiles at me, showing her imperfectly perfect teeth.

"Here. Let me help you." I offer, and take, half of the pile, subtly adding a few extra folders.

"Aren't you the sweetest? Oh my heart, thank you so much, dear." The sweet lady gushes, a hand over her heart.

"Please, Your Highness, it is my duty to serve you, and that is a noble honor not rewarded to many." I say cheekily, winking her way.

Manager and the sweet lady start to laugh, really hard.

"Ooooh, I like this one. Not only is she as  sweet a gummy bear, but she also has a sense of actual humor." she comments, lightly tapping my nose.

I giggle softly, making my nose scrunch up a bit.

"That she has proven. SooJin, this is my personal assistant, Chae Areum." Manager hyung grins and introduces her to me.

"Lovely to see you, my fair lady." I wink at her and bend down to kiss her hand.

She starts gushing about how I'm so chivalrous, gentle, sweet and cheeky.
I just grin at her.

"Why thank you, my fair queen." I grin at her, and bow lightly.

She puts a hand on her heart, "Oh my heart...! She's making me feel like a teenager again!"

The whole room is full with amused laughter, from the auditioners and staff.

"Now! Everyone! Line up, and enter the room when you're called!" Areum announces, and all the auditioners line up on the side, according to their number.

"Good luck, everyone!" I wave at them, and blow them a kiss. They smile, and some wave or blow me a kiss back. The staff smiles, and starts to hush everyone up.

"Come on, SooJin." Areum calls me from the door, where manager hyung and a few staff members disappeared behind.

"Coming!" I half yell, before speed walking towards the closing door.

"Oof." I groan, when my head smacks into the too-quick-for-me-and-now-closed door.

I rub my forehead, and glare at the frame of glass, restricting me from entering it's territory.

The onlookers laugh, as I open the door and shuffle in side, where I see the team stiffling their laughs. I click my tongue, before taking a seat, on the only empty chair beside manager hyung.

As we wait for everything to get prepared, the staff and manager start discussing God knows what. I play with a stray pencil, bored out of my mind.

"What do I do~?" I sing in English, pouting slightly, because my pencil was taken out of my hands by Areum who needed it.

Unconsciously, I start to sing one of my favorite English songs.

Just when I realized,

I start to reach for the sky,

Every time I try,

Now I'm finally

Eventually, I raise my voice from mumbles to normal, and by the time I realize I'm singing, I'm too into it to care or stop.

I smile, suddenly turning shy, and look down at the table. A big smile plays on my lips, as I bite my lip to tone it down.

"Fantastic!" Areum compliments, never stopping her clapping.

The smile stays on my face, for the rest of the day, which goes in a blur as we pick out the best three girls from the auditions.
