That SOMEBODY was none other than Ms Ahana. She is the Head of the HR department. 

                                          Before she could say something, Agasthya hugged her and asked her "HEY! How are you ?".

" I am fine," she said and looked at me.

" This is Ms Ananya! She works under me " he and I smiled and said a quiet hello.

" Ohh hello !! I didn't know you work under him " she said in a polite tone.

Obviously I don't roam around with a board.

" Sorry next time I will inform you," I said in a sarcastic tone and smiled. After saying this, I turned towards him and said "SIR, you please carry on! I will take your leave".

" No n-" I cut him off and I said, " SEE YOU TOMORROW SIR, BYE".

                                     I started walking away after saying this without giving him time to reply. I could feel eyes on my back but I didn't hear any footsteps which highly disappointed me. 

She is more important than me. You know that feeling when your father adores another girl in front of you ( if you are a girl reading this ) or when your mother adores another boy in front of you ( if you are a boy), that was the feeling which I was getting.

                             This thought was disturbing me like anything. Actually not THIS thought basically it was the question that was arising from this thought and that is WHY do I have to feel bad? He can do anything he wants then WHY SHOULD I BE CONCERNED? 

     But I knew better than my heart knew the answers to all these questions.  

                            With all these thoughts I reached back home and changed into my nightclothes. I thought that I should speak to Shanaya but I knew what she was going to say and I was not ready to believe in what she would say.

Already I am not thinking right and she will add more fuel to the fire.

                                       Two hours late, I had my dinner. Even mom and dad noticed that I was awfully quiet today but I dismissed them by saying that I was very tired and I just want to go and sleep. Afterwards, I went to sleep but not before deciding the solution to the problem.

And the solution is she I am sure every girl reading this has done and that is IGNORING ...

        The next day, I woke up early compared to every day despite sleeping late yesterday night.

But whom I am kidding! yesterday I could not sleep soundly. I was just waiting for the night to end. I got ready and left for the office.

When I reached the office, very few people were there, but I realised I was an hour early. With these thoughts, I went to my desk and settled down. After a few minutes, I noticed HIS cabin's light was on.

OKAY FINE! I NOTICED THE MOMENT I REACHED MY DESK BUT I KNEW WHAT I HAD TO DO.

After finishing yesterday's leftover I knew I had to speak to him as WE are working together on this project. So I went to his cabin and knocked on the door. I went inside after hearing a faint " come in".

" yes," He said without looking away from the computer screen.

"Sir, yesterday's pending work is completed " I stated and he looked at me in shock.

" what are you doing here so early? " He asked after composing himself.

"Sir, if there is a problem I can go back and then come here at the required time? " I said and smiled sarcastically.

" There is no problem," he said with a confused expression.

Maybe wondering why behaving so cold and rude...

"Okay, Kindly check this report and get back to me as soon as possible " he added.

" Sure sir! May I leave? "

"Yes! But before that, I want to ask you something? "

" Yes "

" Is there any problem? "

"No, there is no probe, " I replied in a cold tone.

"Okay! You can leave " he said and I walked out.

After sitting on my chair, I noticed him staring at me. So I shifted my chair to the cornermost area of my table so that he cannot see me. I was busy working when Vihaan greeted me " good morning "

" Good morning " I replied

" So early today?"

" yes! I have decided something and I would like to stick to that " I answered his question while looking at HIS Cabin.

" Is this why you are sitting in the corner and hiding from him ?" he asked and I gave him one look which meant " SHUTUP".

" Okay okay! Carry on " He smiled and said while I frowned.

" I meant your work! Carry on with your work " he added and run away to his cabin bringing a smile on my face.

Mad!

I was going to start my work again When his eyes met mine.

What the hell! When did he shift?

I looked away and adjusted my chair again and continued my work so that he cannot see me.

I know you all think that this is so childish
But You know, people think that ignoring something (or someone ) is running away from the problem but they don't realise that ignoring something ( or someone ) is putting the problem on hold and not running away. So that we do not take any hasty decisions When we are feeling extreme emotions ( For example - anger ).

                After feeling eyes on me, I shifted my chair AGAIN and started working.

If things continue to happen like this, Our chairs will keep on dancing. I have to find out a solution for this problem. 

With that, I collected my all flies went to Vihaan's cabin. As soon as he saw me, he smiled or rather smirked.

" I will be wrong if I say I was not expecting you, " He said.

" If you know then please can I sit in your cabin ?" I asked in a pleading tone.

" Of course man! but what we will say if he comes here which I am sure he will ?" He asked and smirked.

" I will tell him you were helping me because I am having a headache " I replied.

"Okay! What has happened ? why are you ignoring him ?"

"For the simple fact that he is affecting me, " I said and explained to him yesterday evening's incident.

" Ohhh," he said.

"Yeah oh and I don't want to get into this swamp," I said

" But my dear you are already in it," He said and smirked.

" What do you think I don't know that ?" I asked and sighed.

" Well I am sure you do but you must be knowing that when you get into a swamp and try to get out of it, you only go in deeper, " He said and smiled. When he said this, I was tongue-tied because I knew what he was saying is true.

" NO COMMENTS, " I said and looked away while he laughed hysterically.

"Please stop laughing " I whined but that ONLY doubled his laughter. So I got up from my chair and started hitting him with the file in my hand.

When I was hitting him, Suddenly the door opened and somebody yelled, " WHat the hell is happening". That, someone, was no other than Agasthya. I kept my file quickly on the table and stood quietly.

Whereas can you guess what the idiot beside me was doing ? he had kept his hand on his mouth to stop himself from laughing out loud.

" Yes sir, " Vihaan said still struggling to control his laughter and I also pressed my lips to stop the smile.

IDIOT !

" What are you doing here Ms Ananya ?" He asked

"Sir actually My head was hurting badly so I thought to take some help from VIhaan sir " I answered him and I did not dare to look at Vihaan.

This man will end us getting killed for sure one day!

" So you could have come to me! I would have helped you. " HE said and a smile was creeping up on my face but I somehow controlled it and maintained a straight face.

" NO sir, That's not required as you are already busy, I will get back to you after checking this report, " I said in a cold tone.

" OKAY," he sighed and left the room.

After he left, I turned to Vihaan who was looking at me with disappointment.

Oops!

" What happened, " I asked Vihaan seeing his disappointed look.

" Why are you making that poor guy suffer ?" He asked

" Excuse me! what have I done in this " I asked back?

" What else? You can see he likes you but then also you are ignoring him like this ?"

" YOU KNOW MY PROBLEM THEN ALSO YOU ARE ACCUSING ME THAT I AM MAKING HIM SUFFER " I shouted at him.

" I KNOW YOU BUT I ALSO KNOW HIM, HE IS NOT THE GUY WHICH HE WAS BACK THEN. " He shouted back.

" What do you mean ?" I asked in a low tone.

" Please understand. If it had been any other woman, he would have made her life nightmare till she was working here," he said.

" The way he spoke to you when you came late was itself a big example that he loves you. Neha was right about him back at the canteen, he is not the guy who will apologise if he shouts at someone " He added.

" Actually I have not told you the full thing," I said.

" What?" he asked in a low tone.

" Yaa !! actually, when he said sorry I did not acknowledge it and I answered him in a very rude way. The next day he apologised again and I forgave him " I said in a low tone and all the while I was looking down and not at him. After some mins when he didn't reply, I looked at him to find him staring at me with a shocked look and his mouth was forming an ' o'.

" WHAT " I slapped him on his hand lightly and said.

" You know you are seriously stupid. That's it I will not say a thing now, It's in your hands whether you want to lose him or you want to keep him " He said in a disappointed tone.

" NO, please! I am scared what if he changes or he starts treating me badly ?" I asked him in a tone that was almost a whisper.

" Listen are you CRAZY? what if he is like the man you always wanted or he treats you like a queen ?" He asked me back.

" All men are best in their behaviour at the start! " I replied and turned around so that he cannot see me.

" Who told you to try all ?" he joked.

" Please Vihaan," I said in a stern voice.

Does this man really has to joke when we are having a serious conversation?

" Okay listen just observe him, You will get your answer," he said.

" Observe what? Give me an example, " I asked and turned to face him

" Okay! For example, a few moments ago when he came here, he asked you to ask him for help and you know that he is burdened with work as we are going through a crisis," he said and I smiled.

" Okay stop smiling please and remember one thing whatever happens in the future should not bother you. If it ends which I know will not, you should have a feeling that it was worth it ' he said and got back to his seat. I also smiled and collected my files and left his cabin.

As I was crossing his cabin, I could see him worried over something. I got back to my desk and started working, but Vihaan 's words were ringing in my head. Unknowingly, I looked at him to find him staring at me with a worried expression but a look of relief washed his face as I smiled at him.

Vihaan is right! I should definitely give it a chance !!!!!!!

  Jealousy is a normal feeling anyone can experience. It only tells us how much we value the things we thought is ours alone.
