It had been 10 days since our training started, I had bonded well with my teammates. It was really fun, We all were enjoying the training very much and all the credit goes to Vihaan but these days I never got to see that man. As I was busy in these thoughts, Neha came to me and asked me to join her for lunch to which I smiled and said," You go, I will be there in 5 mins as I have to submit this report to Vihaan. By the way, have you seen him? "

"Ohh! okay come soon, Vihaan is on the 5th floor", she said and headed towards the cafeteria.

As she said this I thought about the incident in an elevator and unknowingly hoped to meet him. Please don't get any other ideas jis tarah se woh dekh raha tha us din ( the way he was looking at me that day), Somehow I am unable to forget that. So if I meet him I think yeh cheez mujhe itni affect nahi karegi .

I grabbed the file headed towards 5th floor. On reaching the respective floor as I saw a helper, I went towards him asked him "Where is Vihaan sir?"

" Vihaan sir ko ek urgent meeting ke liye chale gaye.(Vihaan sir had to go for an urgent meeting)"

"Ohh! woh mujhe unko report deni thi. ( oh ! I had to give him this report )"

" Toh aap Agasthya sir woh dedo na agar itna zaroori hai toh ( so if it is urgent you can give it to Agasthya sir "

" Nahi nahi unko kese de doon woh toh head hai na toh busy honge ( NO NO ! how can I give him the report as he is head, he must be busy "

" haan busy toh honge par aap mere hisab se unse ek baar puch lo( yes, he must be busy but according to me you should ask him )"

" Accha Toh fir kahaan hai unka cabin? ( ok then where is his cabin?)", I asked

" main le chalta hoon aapko ( I will take you there )"

"thank you "

He guided me to the cabin and left. When I was going to knock on the door, his eyes met mine as the door was completely made of glass and my heart started racing as if I was running a marathon. After a few seconds, I looked away and knocked on the door still aware of his gaze on me. I went inside the room when I heard him saying " come in " in a deep and cold voice.

Have you ever seen a horror movie? har horror movie ek toh aisa part zaroor hota hai jisme victim is hiding in his hideout and the ghost searches for him bas us part meh jaisa feel hota hai na same thing I was feeling here !!!!

As I went inside the room he said, " yes "

" uhh Actually Sir I had to give this report to Vihaan sir but since he went for an urgent meeting. So I thought no actually the helper on this floor suggested it would better if I show it to you. "

"Ohh! I see. Keep the report here and you can go "

" okay"

Seeing his rude behaviour, a frown appeared on my face and I kept the file on the table. I heard him calling me when I started leaving this cabin.

" Miss Ananya " he called.

" Yes sir " I turned around and replied to him .

" Do not run away from the elevator in that manner! People may think something is wrong " he smiled and said.

hearing this I couldn't help but shake my head and smile at him. With that, I walked out from his cabin towards the Cafeteria where Neha was waiting for me but still thinking about the thing which happened back in the cabin.

The days kept passing by and before I knew it, Tomorrow I am going to complete a month in this office. In all this while, Vihaan ( yes I am calling him Vihaan because he asked me to ) has become my best friend. He was extremely patient with me while solving my queries.

And mind you my queries are not easy to solve

It has been nearly 20 days since that incident happened and automatically a smile appears on my face while remembering that day. After that day whenever we used to cross each others path, We used to smile at each other.

With these thoughts revolving in my mind. I drifted off to sleep.

Next day

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. After I put the alarm off, I went to my washroom for my morning chores.
After getting ready in a maroon Kurta and black pant with a matching scarf. I quickly had my breakfast and headed towards the office.

I reached the office on time waited for the elevator to reach on the ground floor. While I was waiting for the elevator Vihaan came and said "hi "

"Hi sir " I teased him.

" kitni baar bola hai ki sir mat bulaya Kar ( how many times I have told you that don't call me sir) " he replied in a fake irritated voice

" okay Vihaan! Aaj mujhe job started Karke ek mahina ho gaya!! ( it's been a month since I started with this job) I am so happy " I smiled and said.

"maloom hai mujhe!! (I know) vese bhi Aaj saabi freshers ka session hai head of the department ke saath (anyways, all the freshers are having a session with the head of the department " he stated.

"head of the department?? Aur kya hoga is session meh?? (what will happen in this session) " I controlled my excitement and asked already knowing the answer. By this time the elevator doors opened and we entered inside and continued our chat

" Agasthya sir will conduct the session and session will be about how your training is going and all of that, "he said

"oh !! Toh kab hone Wala hai yeah session? (when this session is going to be conducted? " I asked.

" Abhi hone wala hai apne bags desk pe jaake rakh do Aur conference room meh aa jao (it is going to be conducted now, so keep your bags on your desk and go to the conference room )"

"okay " I replied.

The elevator dinged and I went to my desk, kept my bag and greeted Neha as she sits beside me.

In this one month, I have realised that Neha can paas Puri office ki gossip hoti hai !!

" Good morning, do you know we have a review session now? " she greeted me back and asked.

" yes, I just came to know! Vihaan lift meh Mila Tha usne bataya " I stated.

" Oh ! Toh chale? "she asked.

"haan haan chalo (yes yes, let's go) "I said to her

We both went to the conference room and grabbed the seats next to each other and waited for the other colleagues to join us.

Few mins later after everybody came, the head of the department arrived and started with his Review session. He was looking very good in a grey blazer and a white shirt with black pants. I did not understand a damn thing which he was speaking because I was busy looking at him more like gawking.

He was speaking and asking about the training when suddenly his eyes met mine. He was staring at me with such intensity that after few seconds I looked away and smiled.

Ek Toh pagal Jaise stare Kar Rahi thi pata nahi kya sochega!!

later, when the session was ending I looked at him only to find him staring at me with a smirk this made me look away immediately and I met Vihaan's eyes who was smiling at me in a manner that told me he has seen the exchange of glances between me and sir.

Finally, the session ended and I got back to my work while still thinking about the things that happened during the session !!

After that interesting session. I, Neha and Vihaan went towards the cafeteria to have our lunch. Since that session, Vihaan has been giving me weird looks.

You know that type of look when you're caught doing something.

We grabbed a table and placed our order. When we were waiting for our order, Neha got a call from our home and she left to attend the call. As she left, I asked Vihaan " Will you please stop giving that looks ?"

"What? I am not giving you any looks " he said giving me an innocent look but the smirk was evident on his face.

" what happened? why are you giving me such looks ? " I asked.

" arre kuch nahi ( it's nothing ) " he said and his smirk grew wider.

" nahi batana hai na (don't want to tell me)! okay fine I am not going to talk to you " I stated and scoffed .

" okay okay bata tha hoon ! phele tu bata us meeting meh tu kya kar rahi thi (okay okay I will tell you ! first you tell me what you were doing in the meeting )?" he asked.

" uh kuch bhi toh nahi hua (Nothing happened ) "I answered him without looking at him.

"ohh accha ! phir maine bhi tumhe koi looks nahi diye ( ohh really! then I also didn't passed you any looks " he said and smirked widely.

yeh ladka na us time pe session pe dhyaan deta toh kya bhigad tha iska !!!!!!!!!!

" okay fine! but main sach bol rahi hoon ( I am telling you the truth), I really don't know what happened", I sighed and said.

"ohh! interesting. Very interesting " he said.

Before I could ask him what was interesting, Neha finished her call and came back and food also arrived.

okay to whom I am kidding, I know what he is trying to say but he doesn't need to know that you know . I mentally thanked Neha for coming on the right time.

So I let the topic go and we started to have our lunch, discussing our work but Vihaan was still stealing glances at me with a smirk.

Neha noticed it and asked, " kya hua tum usko aise dekh ke smile kyu kar rahe ho ? ( what happened? Why are you looking at her with that smirk )

" arre aisa kuch nahi hai ( its nothing like that ) " he said and smirked at me AGAIN.

Agar isne aise smile karna bandh nahi kiya na toh mai isse baat karna hi bandh kar doongi ( If he didn't stop smiling like that, I will stop talking to me ).

" leave that I am done with lunch, you people finish yours," I said in an irritated tone and headed towards the elevators. As I was on the verge of leaving the cafeteria I glanced back at my friends still walking and bumped into someone.

Uh oh !!!

I looked at the person and he was none other than Agasthya sir. I couldn' t help but smile at him and he was staring at me with a bemused expression.

I quickly looked away and pressed my lips to stop my smile.

" sorry sir, I didn't see you coming " I apologized.

" How will you see miss Ananya? When you were busy looking at your friends " he said in an arrogant tone.

Hearing this I again glanced at Vihaan and Neha. Where Neha was looking at me with a worried expression but Vihaan had a huge smirk on his face. Seeing him like that a huge smile appeared on my face and I mumbled a small sorry sir again and walked away towards the elevator laughing at the moment that took place minutes ago .

I returned to my desk started doing my assignment which was given by Vihaan. After like 10 -15 mins Vihaan and Neha came to my desk. They both started chatting about the assignments and asked me if I was done with mine or not. I replied with a quite " almost done ". In this whole time, I did not dare to look at him.

As you people know, friends ka toh kaam hi hota hai situations ko embarrassing banana !!!

As their chat got over, Vihaan went back to his cabin and we resumed our work. After some time, Someone tapped on my shoulder and I turned around only to find Vihaan pointing at his watch. It was 5:45 pm indicating that it was time to leave. So I quickly gathered my stuff and went with him towards the elevator. As we went inside I asked,

" Neha kahaan hai? (where is Neha?)"

"Neha ko ghar se urgent call aaya Tha Toh woh jaldi chali gayi ( Neha had received an urgent call from her home so she left early) "

During this whole conversation, I was not Looking at his face.

" Okay," I replied.

"seriously, ab tu meri Tarah dekhke baat bhi nahi karegi ? ( seriously, Now you will not even look at me while talking ) ? " He asked.

" nahi aisa kuch bhi nahi hai ( no its nothing like that )" I stated.

" Oh come on yaar ! It's normal to have crush " he said. The elevator dinged and we started moving towards the entrance of the office.

" no, I don't have a crush on Agasthya sir " I defended

" arre but maine Agasthya sir ka naam hi kab liya? ( but when did I mention Agasthya's name ?) " he asked with a smirk .

woh hindi movies meh villain jaise smile karta hai na yeh bhi vaisa hi kar raha tha .

Idiot. Stupid. Monkey .donkey . Yeh sab words iski tareef meh kam hai!!

On hearing this, I started blushing and replied," uhh woh mujhe bahut late ho raha hai ( actually i am getting late ) "

" okay okay !! But you are looking cute with all the blushing " he said and pinched my cheeks and we both started to laugh. As we reached the entrance, he left and I started to look for an auto to go home.

It was already 6:30 pm when I reached home. So after changing into my night clothes, I called Samaira and narrated her the whole list of incidents that happened in all this while. Hearing all this she said, " I told you na,' all of your I am going to be single' will not work !! I can sense a blooming romance here " she said.

" Ohh, please !! I guess this is a stupid crush which will fade with time " I stated.

" Ohh we shall see that will this crush fade away or will grow into love " she challenged.

" we shall " i replied and she laughed.
After talking about her work I hanged up the call and went to have my dinner.

I laid down on my bed after having my dinner and chatting with my family. All the incidents were running on my mind and I hoped against hope that this should be a normal crush. With that, I drifted off to sleep.

She wasn't exactly sure when it happened. Or even when it started. All she knew for sure was that right here and now, she was falling hard and she could only pray that he was feeling the same way.
