You know there are times when you don't understand that whether you are just shy or embarrassed. Something similar was happening to me, after leaving the canteen I came and sat back on my chair wondering whether I was shy that Vihaan misunderstood my words regarding him or I was embarrassed that whatever he misunderstood, he somewhat told him indirectly. 

                                         When I was lost in my thoughts, I saw him walking towards his cabin and Vihaan was walking a few steps behind him. Before entering his cabin, He gave me a small smile whereas Vihaan was grinning like an idiot. Vihaan came to my desk after he went to his cabin. 

" You are a dead meat Vihaan! " I immediately told Vihaan before he could say something, faking a frown.

" Hey, It's not my fault that you want to do something with him " Vihaan commented and I smacked his arm. 

" Ouch !! It hurts man " He said faking a hurt expression.

"That was the purpose for it," I said faking a smile making him laugh. 

" Anyway continue your work and I will see you " saying this he went to this cabin and I started working. 

                                 I was continuously working that I didn't realise when time passed away and it was time to go.  So, I collected all my reports and went towards his cabin.I knocked on the door and waited for his response. On not hearing any response, I gently opened the door and asked him if I could come in. After hearing yes, I went inside.

" What did I told you about knocking on the door miss ?" He asked me in a commanding voice before I could say something. 

"Ohh! I forgot actually " I said in a low tone and he started smirking. 

" That's No problem but you have to compensate for it," He said and smiled. (This time genuine )

"How? " I asked, looking amused.   

" I will drop you," He asked more like stated. Hearing this a smile appeared on my face.

" Okay," I said with a smile and left his cabin. He just needed an excuse to drop me home and this thought made me smile like an idiot. Though nothing was said between us still he was showing his care towards me without knowing anything about me.

              Keeping my thoughts aside, I started packing my bag. There was an unknown excitement building inside me, I felt like a teen who sneaks out to meet her .... " friend". As I finished packing my bag, he came out and we both started walking towards the parking lot. There were very few people in the office and others already left the office a while back.

                      As we walked to his car, he was intentionally brushing his hands against mine (it could be unintentional but it didn't seem so). We sat in the car in complete silence. So I initiated the conversation by saying," Tomorrow is a big day".

"yeah! Tomorrow is going to be a big hectic day. Do you want to have tea ?"  He asked with hesitation.

" Roadside waali (ones)" He added and I just pressed my lips to stop myself from smiling and nodded at him.

              After stopping at a tea stall, we both stepped out from the car and he went to get tea from the stall. Now that he was gone, A big smile formed on my face recalling how cute he looked when he asked me for coming here. I came out of my trance when I heard him ask," Why are you smiling ?" I looked at him carrying two cups of tea.

" I guess it's going to rain " I took the cup from him and said.

"Yeah! But I thought you didn't like rain ?" He asked with a confused expression.

"yeah! I still don't like it but it depends " I replied and inhaled the aroma of my tea.

" depends on what? " He asked, looking amused.

Depends on the company!
      
              I wanted to say it loud but I just smiled at him and shook my head and a smirk formed on his face.

" So sir from when I should shift my things from my desk? " I asked sipping my tea.

"Shift? " He asked, looking confused.

" Umm yeah! My post of assisting you is over so naturally, I will have to go to my previous desk " I replied with a blank face.

" Oh okay! We will see that tomorrow after the meeting " He said and smiled mischievously. Something about the way he smiled made me blush and we continued having our tea.

The way he smiled told me that he had plans for me and strangely I was looking forward to his plans !! 

                    As we finished our tea, we both sat in the car and he starts driving.  

" Can I say something? " He asked after a few mins of pin-drop silence. 

" y-yes," I said in a nervous tone. 

" Never mind," He said after briefly looking at me. I just kept looking at him wondering what he was going to say but I couldn't guess anything because he had a blank expression. 

                                   He parked the car near my building and I stepped out of the car.

" Thank you, sir," I said gratefully.

" No problem! " He said and smiled at me. Smiling back, I went inside the building after waving at him.
