Medic x reader 2

"Medic?"

The body underneath the lab coat shifted slightly in response to my voice.
But nothing else followed suit as silence overcame the room once more.
My mind was slightly baffled by the way Medic was acting right now. Normally he was always on his toes, quick to act and never faltering in his stance. Even when there was no work to be done.

But right now, seeing him in a state of what seemed to be frustration, it was definitely a new one.

"Medic? Are you alive?" My voice came put softer than the first time as I reached out to shake his shoulder gently. A grunt, followed by another shifting of his body causes the coat to slide down his back ever so slightly, revealing his head.

The mans hair was messed up and glasses crooked on his face as he laid there sleeping soundly on the table. He was completely disheveled from his normal look of the day and I couldn't help but smile at the sight.

"Well now...Aren't we tired." I mumbled, shaking my head.

A small chirp from underneath the table was quickly followed by the sounds of wings fluttering up towards my shoulder as Archimedes settled himself down and perched upon me. The dove twitched his head back and forth quickly between me and the lethargic medic in what seemed like a questioning tone.   He was quite the curious one, much like myself, as I reached forward again and shaking his shoulder. Saying his name once more, but louder. "Medic, wake up and get to your bed."

This time, he had heard me as his body startled upward, his eye lids only halfway open as he snapped his head towards me. "vh-vhat?" He swallowed, trying to wake himself up.

I was startled myself as groggy eyes lifted up to me. Word forming on his lips as he squinted, vision blurry from glasses be discarded amongst the wrecked what seemed to be the remains of a Medi gun. "Vhat are you doing here?" His voice was now low, still covered with the sound of sleep.

Reaching over the table, I gingerly picked up the glasses thay where haphazardly thrown off and began cleaning them on my shirt. Not the best material in the word for wiping the lens, but just as good as the medics lab coat that he uses.

"Oh...hmmm Good question."

My eyes darted to medic for a second, our eyes locking onto another, his filled with confusion  and exhaustion, before I broke the contact, switching to clean the other lens.

"Although the real question should be, why are you in here with your lab coat over your head taking a siesta? Hmmm?" Leaning down, I placed the glasses on his head before taking a step back, admiring my cleaning work.

Medic was taken aback by the sudden gesture, and eye sight, as he blinked a few more time now more awake. His mind trying to process the question that countered his.

"Well you see all these pieces on zhe floor?" A hand was waved over the mess on and around the table in a questioning manner. " these pieces are supposed to be for a new medi gun. A bigger and better one! One that'll help me keep patients alive longer for more expierments! One that will let me uber you longer! It was going to be my greatest post-medical achievement! But now-" he sighed out, right hang resting on the table, eyes dropping to the floor.

"Nothing is vorking!"

With a sudden shout, medic slid all the remains pieces off the table in a frustrated sweep of his arm. Eyebrows knitting close together as he closed his eyes. His hands now balled up in fists on his knees.

Letting medic calm down for a moment, I finally stepped forward. Careful to avoid stepping on anything and crouched down to see the man's face once more.

"So, throwing things around is going to help?" I question, bring my hands up to run through the tangled mess that was his hair.

He shook his head lightly and accepted the fact that I was right. Even though he hated admitting it. But I could see the feeling of my finger tips rubbing gently on his scalp was helping him clam down. His breathing slow as his face relaxed.

"Ja...your right.." he mumbled, eyes now looking at me.

I smiled, glad to see him in a slightly better mood and leaned in for a soft kiss, him returning it before quickly breaking apart.

"But first, I think a nap is in order... as childish as it seems sleep is important."

Guess I was tired of seeing this unfinished and gave it an ending. Yeet
