in which a child soldier is burning, and she doesn't even know it.
when the winter soldier was introduced to his next partner, a young girl with blonde hair and ocean blue eyes who could overthrow a grown man, he had no idea what he was getting into.
he had no idea why her blue eyes and blonde hair pulled at forgotten memories that involved a skinny boy that made him feel lonely and hopeless. he didn't understand why everyone but him treated her like a toy that could just be thrown away when she broke.
maybe thats why he felt responsible for the child he named Violet, after the beautiful purple flowers that grew outside of his cell amidst the snow.
maybe thats why she was able to bring back the small little shred of humanity he had left, with her metallic hands and empty expressions.
maybe thats why, once they escape from evil's clutches, he promises he'll show her how good life can be.
but once a soldier, always a soldier. and the child born in HYDRA could never be free of the bloodstains on her hands.
❝ you don't realize your body is on fire and burning up because of the things you did. you'll understand one day, and then, you'll realize for the first time that you have many burns. ❞

extra info!
if you want this plot, i heavily advise watching the Netflix series Violet Evergarden, considering the main character herself is based on the titular character, Violet! There are 13 episodes in total, each only half an hour, and also two movies plus a bonus episode. but if you sat yourself down with a big bucket of popcorn and watched them continuously, you could finish it in 12 or so hours!
it's a very heartwrenching and painful show that deals with survivors guilt, emotions, the idea of love, death, and other depressing themes, but it's a show that makes you happy you watched it and not thinking 'well shit i'm gonna go sob for DAYS in my room that was such a depressing ending/story!!' (aka what i did after watching squid game)
now much like Violet Evergarden MCU!Violet is emotionless. Unlike Bucky, who still has a shred of humanity left and can experience emotions when he's broken out of his mind control, Violet has never experienced nor been shown love or any other emotion. She is only a weapon, a dog to be used by its masters and then thrown away.
ALSO; Violet has two mechanical arms, which cannot be changed! In the series, it's used to show how such a normal girl in appearance can actually be someone completely different, and with a literal child/young girl who is supposed to appear innocent and naive to suddenly remove her gloves to reveal metal hands that allows her to choke a grown man out, it kinda fits. (:
i love a good murderous father-daughter duo <333
now for the story; Violet is a child soldier used by hydra who then becomes the winter soldier's partner, and they share a bond over having mechanical arms, being supersoldiers, forced to kill people, and her looking like someone he once knew (and loved cough cough)
Violet, whose codename is Nightshade (a deadly/poisonous flower hehe) is sent along with the Winter Soldier to kill Nick Fury, then Natasha Romanoff and Steve blah blah blah you know the whole gist of the movie you've also seen it 20 times.
you could also incorporate flashbacks of her and bucky of their imprisonment with hydra and give her some more backstory!
i think that's all, if you need any more info just pm me!!! have a good day <333
