"Mommy can we go to the zoo today?"
Joey asked

"Hey, how are you up so early?"
Renée muttered

"It's 2:58 mom"
Joel uttered

"I slept in?"

"Dad said we shouldn't wake you, you deserve all the rest you can get."

"Did he?
And ummm, what did you just do?"

"Wake you but it's just to get your consent, you can go back to sleep after."
Joey replied

"Weeehhhh"
Alis cried

"And apparently you woke the baby too."
Renée replied

She got up to take Alis out her cradle, but her cries no longer last,
Mike had took her and fed her a warm bottle of milk while he ate breakfast .

"What's going on down here?"

"Somebody seems to have rested well."

"Quite the contrary; if I remember correctly,a certain person jumped on my bed asking me to go to the zoo."

"Did you wake your mother?"
Mike asked

"I told her she could go back to sleep after."
Joey replied

Renée chuckled

"Didn't mean to wake you babe, I know how tiring it can be taking care of Alis and still managing everything else, I mean you're on work leave and yet still you're still working."
Mike uttered

" But it's Alis."
She replied

"I know but , Brandon and Michelle are having the time of their life and you have to keep their kid; not that nothing is wrong with that but could she find like a sitter or something?"

"You'd really want Alis to be left with a sitter?
Like really?"

"You definitely got a point right there."

"Listen I get what you're saying, I really do but it's fine.
It's totally okay"
She replied

"At least let me take the kids to the zoo"

Renée smiled

"Someone's gotta get them outta your hair right?"

"What if I wanted my kids around, they have been gone since forever."

"Look at me and tell me you want Joey and Joel with you all day while you monitor Alis."

"Bring me back a corn dog."

"That's more like it!!"
Mike uttered

"So tell me , cocomelon or little angels?"
Mike asked

"What?"

"Which nursery rhymes does Alis watch?"

"Alis doesn't watch nursery rhymes, it's gets her annoyed.
She prefers to watch butterflies, or listen the pouring rain but why are you asking this?"
Renée enquired

"I'm taking here with me."

"Oh no you're not."
Renée uttered

"Oh yes I am."

"Oh no you're not."

"I most definitely am."

"You most definitely aren't."

"Listen, I'm not gonna fight with you. Just take the day for yourself, sleep, go out, get something to eat with Charlotte or go see that competition you have in Bellowsfield; I see you looking her up.
All I'm saying just do whatever you want, I'll take care of the kids today."

"First and foremost, he's a him not a her; there was some change regarding the leadership since she was killed by her coworker, it was a whole scandal.
It's not that I don't want you to give me a break from all this but it's just not the norm you know.
I'm getting a hard time adjusting to all this , I'm used to being preoccupied and on the go you know.

Renée uttered

"Nope, don't even think about it.
You're not tagging along, today is you're day.
It's call a work break and all you've been doing working, take the day for yourself.
Well, you already slept through most of the day but oh well."
Mike replied

Renée sighed

"Okay fine, I'll call Charlotte over and we'll go get some Starbucks or something."
Renée added

"Starbucks? Really come on
Go in a fun spree have a blast, how about that water park over by Lakeshore?"

"Really?
That's a long ass drive.
I'll settle with Palm Beach."
Renée replied

"No!!
I mean, after the incident at palm beach, it's not safe to go there."

"You're not making any sense, it's a simple hit and run that had been taken care of already, isn't that what you told me?"

"Yes and it is, it's just that ever since it happened, I just feel like someone has been watching me following my every move, this morning I found my car vandalized again.
Spray paint everywhere."

"And you think it's the guy you arrested?"

"No, he's still in lockdown but I don't know, whoever it is, wherever they are, I think they might be watch my family too."

"That's why you wanna go to the zoo with the kids, even Alis."

"I'll have Thomas on guard at all times-"

"I'm not gonna let you go out there, put our kids, baby Alis for that matter in danger just so you can catch another criminal!!
What the hell are you thinking?!"
She exclaimed

"Okay fine; I'll call off the operation.
We'll just go to the park instead."

"Operation or not, I don't think I want you with the kids out there.
I don't think I'm going anywhere either, for all I know there's something deeper going on here that you're clearly not talking about."
She replied

"Why don't you wanna talk about Trevor?"

"How do you know that name?"

"Answer the question Michael!!"

"How do you know about Trevor?!"

"Just answer the question!!
Who is this Trevor? And what does his existence mean to you?!"

"He's my father!!'
Michael uttered in tears

"You told me your father died."
She uttered

"He did, I was the one who killed him ."
He added

Mike placed Alis in her cradle and walked out onto porch.

"Kids go get your sneakers on, daddy's taking you to the zoo."
She stated

"Yaayyy alright!!"
They cheered

Renée stepped out on to the porch, hugged him from behind and uttered-

"It's clear that there's a lot I still don't know about you"
She gulped

"But go, spend the day with the kids, no operations. When you get back you need to talk to me, okay?"
She whispered under her breath

"Are you sure?
I really don't wanna -"

"Go. You need to get some air, take the kids with you, but I'm keeping Alis."

"Renée -"

"No buts, just go."

"Okay"
Mike sighed

Renée stood on the porch as he watched them leave,
The goosebumps of fear and terror could not leave her sleeve.
As the car drive off, she made a big sigh,
Went inside but couldn't help to breakdown and cry.
With every passing day, she remembers her past,
She doesn't stress Michael to talk about his because she about hers he doesn't want him to ask.

She picked up the phone and called Charlotte to come over,
She put Alis to rest and took a cold shower.
10 minutes had passed, the door bell rang,
Car parked outside, Memory Reboot it sang.
She opened the door while drying her hair,
But the person at the door couldn't help but stare.

"Can I help you?"
Renée asked

The person stood there utterless in his tracks

"Sir, are you okay?"
Renée asked

"I'm sorry, I umm, I shouldn't have come here. Sorry to bother you."
He replied

"Wait a minute, aren't you the guy from the open day?"
She enquired

He stopped in his tracks and turned around

"That's right."
He replied

"My friend said she saw you at the park as well then you disappeared.
Have you been following me?"
She asked

"No, well, yes but it's not in the creepy way."
He uttered

"That's it I'm calling Michael!!"
She replied

"No please don't call Micheal!!"
He shouted

"You know Michael?"
What do you know about Michael?
Are you Trevor?"
She exclaimed

He sighed

"Can we please have this conversation inside please."
He insisted

"Come in, but just know my friend is in speed dial."

"Now tell me, why have you been following me?"
She enquired

He reaches into his backpack and gives her a baby sock.

"Where did you get this?
This was given to me by my mother for my first child."
She uttered

"My name is Ryan, I haven't been given a last name for the past 23 years where you left me at Tsila's Orphanage for gifted souls. That's all the way in Lakeshore.
I grew up bouncing from foster home, to orphanage to foster home to orphanage until I was finally left in an orphanage in Don Perico where I met the closet thing to a family, my dear friend David.
With his resources I was able to find my biological mother and it turns out she no longer lives in Lakeshore.
She now lives in Bellowsfield, with 2 beautiful kids, my brothers and now I'm learning I have a niece."
He uttered

Renée was speechless

"You know I gotta ask the question.
Why did you leave me?"
He asked with tear pouring from his eyes

Renée gripped the sock tightly as she was overwhelmed with tears,
She began to breathe deeply and sharply in his precious eyes she stares.
With every word her spoke, her past was repainted,
Her heart raced, in his arms she fainted

"Mom!! mom!!"
He uttered

"Renée look who I found on the way here."
Charlotte uttered as she came through the door with Mike

"You!!"
Charlotte shouted

"Who the fuck is this!!"
Mike uttered

"I know how this seem but -"
Ryan began to speak

Mike pulled out his weapon and Ryan flew through the door,
Mike ran after him but he jump in his car and wasn't seen anymore.
Mike wanted to get into his vehicle and hunt him down for his life, but instead he went back into the house and tended to his wife.
