"Unless you want Michelle to behead me, sure go ahead."
Renée replied

"I just wanna gobble her all up!!
Look at this, her little fingers are all around mine, she has such a good grip.
I'm really happy for them."

"That's their bundle of joy right there."

"How long will the cruise last?"

"About 2 weeks."

"Well that's a bummer, thought we'd have more time to spend with the little one."

"Oh I'll still have her, Michelle doesn't mind."

"Is it wrong to think everything is moving too fast with them?"
Renée asked

"What do you mean?"

"Is it too soon for her to be out there, living her own life, in her own home, you know, away from me?"
Renee sighed

"Ohh, poor baby, I know where this is coming from.
You're scared."

"I'm not, I'm just -"

"Hey, you're talking to Charlotte remember.
You've been taking care of Michelle for so long to the point where it has became the norm for you to act like the big sister even though you aren't but you need to allow her to spread her wings and experience all that life has to offer; the good and the bad."

Renée sighed

"Now you look like a concerned mom."

Renee smiled

"Come on bring it in"
Charlotte uttered as welcomed her for a hug with wide open arms

The hugged for a moment, he saw this from afar,
He felt emotional as he watched from his car.
Charlotte took a seat as she feeds her dog Piper,
While Renée went back to the car to change Alis diaper.

He built up some courage and went up to speak,
Rather than watching from his car, rather than to sneak.

"Hey sorry to bother you, I was walking my dog and he got loose from my leash; by any chance did you see a gold retriever run past here?"
He came over and asked Charlotte

"No, I'm sorry to hear that, I love dogs I would have spotted him immediately. Let me ask my friend"

"Renee!!"
Charlotte called

"I'll be right there."
Renée replied

His eyes filled with tears, his leash fell to the ground,
He got all emotional inside seeing that Renée was in bound.

"Hey what's up"
Renée asked

"This young man lost his dog, a golden retriever; have you seen a gold retriever around?"
Charlotte asked

"What are you talking about? What young man?"

Where'd he go"
Charlotte frantically looks around in disbelief

"Yeah right, I tell you stop drinking so much coffee you're gonna start seeing things." Renee quipped

"I assure you, he was right here. Ren look!! He dropped his leash!! I told you he was here."

"Oh well, where's he now?
Come let's go, Alis is getting hungry and we both know how she is when she's hungry, gotta take her home."

"What do I do with his leash?"

"I don't know, keep it.
I'm sure Mr. Mystery guy will come looking for it."

Charlotte sighed

They walked off and into the car they went,
Charlotte looked around one last time where her time was spent.
