Aemi's POV

Hyebin and I head back down into the audience. There were a few people sitting now, more than before. The fans looked at us weirdly when we exited from backstage.

We settled down and excitedly told each other about Chanyeol and Kyungsoo.

"I can't believe we got to go backstage. To. EXO. " I said in disbelief.

"We're really are living the life aren't we?"

After talking for a long time, the place was filled up with people and the fanmeet was about to start.

EXO emerged from backstage glowing. Everyone cheered and Suho, the leader, greeted everyone. "Annyeonghaseyo everybody!! Thank you for coming today!"

The meet continued on with the 9 boys asking us questions, performing, and playing games with us. It was a really fun meeting.

The end was nearing, and everyone was sad that it was. We all had so much fun!! EXO one by one said their goodbye's. Next was Chanyeol's turn to say something.

"Thank you very much to everyone who came! I had so much fun with you guys and I hope we'll see each other soon again! Saranghae, EXO-L!" He suddenly glanced at me and gave a quick wink. It was hard to catch but I 100% saw it. Chanyeol bowed 90 degrees to the audience, and then EXO left.

I grinned when he gave me that sneaky wink. I'm so lucky~

Hyebin and I went home and our car ride back was full of happy squeals and nonstop talking.

I got home and collapsed on my bed. "Ah I'm so tired..." I looked at my clock beside my bed. It wasn't that late, but a good time to go to sleep. I took a shower and changed, getting into bed and closing my eyes.

The next month was amazing. I went to multiple EXO events (literally, all of them.) and met Chanyeol at them. We got closer in that time. To be honest, I was starting to think he had a bias towards me...but I'm not complaining.

It was another day, another time to buy another EXO ticket. This time, it was a fansign. I got hold of the ticket as per usual and called Hyebin.

"No!! You didn't get it?" I asked in shock.

"Yeah..." Replied on the other end. She sounded sad. We went to many, but it would be the first time I would go without her. "It sold out ridiculously fast."

I felt sorry, and hung up after talking on the phone. Guess I'm going alone this time...

I was on my way to the Convention center, where the fansign was going to be held. It was really busy because there were other events inside as well.

I arrived at the EXO section and stood in line. There were already so many people here. I felt a bit lonely since Hyebin wasn't with me, but I for sure was going to get something signed by Kyungsoo for her, of course.

EXO showed up eventually, and the fansign then started. After an hour or so, I was next and went to the guys.

The order that they were in was: Sehun, Baekhyun, Kai, Suho, Xiumin, D.O, Lay, Chanyeol, and Chen.

I finished up nicely with Lay and moved onto Chanyeol.

"You're here!!" He said happily. "Hello~"

"Hello oppa!!" I said.

Chanyeol signed my things and then we played a short game.

"Lets play Rock Paper Scissors, and whoever wins gets to touch the other persons face." Chanyeol said.

I had to admit the game sounded a bit odd, touching each other's faces suddenly. But I'd do it if it was Chanyeol of course. "Okay."

Rock Paper Scissors! I put out scissors, he put out rock. Darn.

Chanyeol pinched my right cheek grinning.

Rock Paper Scissors! I put out Paper and he put out rock. Yes! I reached out and pulled lightly on both of his pointy ears.

Chanyeol got shy and covered his ears cutely.

Rock Paper Scissors! I put out Paper and he put out scissors. Sigh.

Chanyeol reached out and grabbed the tip of my nose.

Rock Paper Scissors! Chanyeol won once again and lightly grab my chin. This game did things to my heart.

It was time I moved onto Chen, because there were other girls waiting behind me. "Bye Chanyeol!"

"See you later Aemi~" Chanyeol called out.

I went to Chen, the last person,
and he smirked at me.

"Tell me Aemi, do you like Chanyeol?" He asked.

"Of course I do. I'm his fan." I replied.

"You'd date him?" He asked

"Yes." I replied again. It wasn't a weird question I don't think, any fan would want to date EXO.

Chen signed my things, and I said goodbye and left the stage.

I was so excited to get home and tell what happened today with Hyebin. But guilt still lingered because she couldn't come today.

I was walking, trying to stray from the huge crowd of fans, when I bumped into someone.

"Aemi-ah?"

Chanyeol's POV

I got to touch Aemi's face due to the game I suggested today. She was so embarrassed and cute and her skin was so smooth. That sounds weird if I put it that way though.

I was sad when she had to move on, there were a few girls behind her looking angry. I hope she doesn't mind them. I signed the fans papers and conversed with them, and my gaze would flicker to Aemi walking once in a while. Then I noticed her bump into a scary looking lady, and they looked like they were talking.

Aemi's POV

"Aemi-ah?"

I looked up to the person that called my name. My eyes widened. "E-eomma?"

"Yes daughter. It's your eomma."

"What are you doing here?" I asked. I moved out from my parents house when I was 16 years old. They didn't keep in much touch and I didn't either. My mom was crazy. She was successful, but crazy. There was a reason why I moved out so quickly.

"I work at the convention center." She replied to me. "Why are you here?"

I shakily pointed to EXO's fanmeeting. "I came for this."

My mom looked annoyed but stayed silent. "You still obsess over these boys for nothing?"

I put my head down. "Yes, eomma."

"How's school?"

She doesn't know that I quit school after high school and didn't move onto college. I looked up. "I-I quit school."

A fire blazed in my mom's eyes. "Why?"

"Because I couldn't do it anymore."

"WHY?!" She yelled.

"Because it wasn't the path that I chose!!!"

"IF IT'S NOT THE PATH THAT YOU CHOOSE THEN THAT IS THE PATH THAT YOU CHOOSE?!"

"There's plenty of jobs out there that don't need degrees." I stayed calm.

"I didn't raise my daughter this way. To go around spending money over these boys who you treat like gods, not go to college, have a useless job."

"It's MY life mom. Not yours. You exited my life years ago, I don't need you to make me do things your way!!!" I yelled back.
