I asked the Lord one day,

"What do yo say?

Can you send me someone 

to love today?

He set me on the path 

He led me to you

My love, my best friend

my Matthew

My first Angel 

to cherish and love

sent to me

By the Lord above

Together our lives

mingled and grew

But something was missing

this much we knew

I asked the Lord,

"What do yo say?

Can you send us another

to love today?

He knew what we wanted 

But we had to wait

No more to love,

Seemed our fate

Then one day 

It all turned around

I'd seen your face 

on the ultrasound

My second Angel

to cherish and love

sent to me 

By the Lord above

We were made whole

we felt complete

The Lord said, 

"Ah, but there's someone new to meet."

My third little Angel

My second son

had entered or lives 

the adventures begun

I've been given three Angels

from the Lord above

All for me

To cherish and love.
