She reached the apartment door. Opening it entered only to witness him standing talking on the phone. She stood there shocked. He saw her but his devoted something else.

"I'll talk to you later." He cut the call as soon as he did she ran to him and hugged him tightly and started sobbing in his arms.

"You? Where were you? Haan? When I called you rejected. You never picked up! Aap the kahan?" She asked him continuously until she realised that his arms were still making her scared. She loooked at him who was looking at her without any emotions.

"Aap, theek ho?" She asked softly he stared in her eyes making her shiver like anything.

"Kyun?"

"Kyun ka kya matlab hai? Aap ghar nahi aaye upar se mera phone bhi nahi utha rahe the toh main..." Before she could continue he asked

"Bas! You yourself told me to go away. Main chala gaya. And it shouldn't matter to you now. You don't want mr so I'm leaving forever." He said pushing her away making her scared.

He took his luggage and started moving towards the door but she soon came into senses and ran to stop him.

"Aap kahi nahi jayenge! What do you mean by forever? I'm not letting you go like that." She stopped him making him take a frustrated sigh.

"Why do you care now Nandini? You wanted to me to go away I'm going. Now don't make me regret this. When you don't care at all why should I be the one waiting for you? When you don't even consider me yours, I don't think so I mean anything to you." He said holding her shoulders in his grip. She had tears filled her eyes. When he said he doesn't mean anything to her she let them flow down her cheeks.

"When did I say you don't mean anything to me? Just don't assume things." She said softly making him chuckle.

"Oh! You want to restrict me to come near you and now I can't even assume things? What am I Nandini? Am I not human? Don't I have feelings? You said right I mean to you something? Then tell me what am I to you? Tell me!" She kept mum! His frustration was hitting high making him angry.

Seeing her not responding he chuckled and leaving her shoulders he held his luggage and started moving not before saying

"See, I don't mean anything to you. Good bye Nandini Murthy!" He held the knob of the door and when he felt her holding his hand and mumbling to him.

"I love you."

"What?" He asked turning to her as he couldn't hear her. She looked at him with that cute red eyes, nose and red cheeks.

"I love you! You mean the world to me okay? You are not anything to me. Aise kaise aap kuch bhi soch sakte ho? Mujhse baat ki aapne? When I contacted to you, you didn't even received my phone. Isn't it your mistake? I was worried thinking what you might he doing? Where you are living? How your health is? But you toh don't care only na!"

Manik felt like gobbling her there only. He chuckled and hugging her mumbled near her ear.

"Then! Why didn't you message me earlier about it? Aaj itna late kyun kiya?" She sobbed in his arms until she realised what he said.

She looked at him who was smiling looking at her. She analyzed the whole situation and her whole mouth went wide open.

"What the hell! Aap mera majak uda rahe hai?" She asked smacking his stomach making him growl.

"Ow! Accha! Main majak uda raha hun? Aur tum jo kar rahi thi? Kitna wait karvaya mujhe. You know I should have tried this trick long back." She pouted listening him and wiped her face. He smiled and wiped her face with his kerchief.

"Vaise red nose and red cheeks suits you." She pouted but soon blush starts forming on her cheeks making him chuckle. She again smacks his stomach. He hugged her pulling her close to him.

"Ab social restrictions nahi hai?" He teased her making whine. He laughed and pecking her head said

"I love you." She left bless listening him. But unknowingly tears started coming out her eyes. He left her vibrating he frowned and breaking the hug he noticed her crying.

"Hey! Why are you crying?" He asked worriedly. Instead of replying she looked at her feet feeling guilty.

"I'm sorry!" She mumbled. He immediately made her sit on the sofa and gave her water to drink.

"Tell me now. What happened? Why are you crying?" He asked once he made her drink the water.

"I'm so so bad! I shouldn't have believed all those things. I should have kept in you. But me being stupid believed this stupid society. I'm sorry, because of me you had to leave the college, because of me we both had to suffer. I'm sorry." He sighed and settling beside her he took her in his arms. She rested her head on his chest.

"Sh! Jo hua so hua. You have been through so much. And agar tumhare jagah koi aur bhi hota toh shayad yahi karta. But I'm happy that we are together. Now please don't think about others. Just think about yourself. US." She bobbed her head with a smile and again rested her head on his chest.

After 15 minutes Manik spoke breaking the perfect silence.

"Nandini, I need to leave?" She got scared and immediately shouted

"Kyun? Sab kuch toh theek hai na? Ab aapko kyun jana hai mujhe chodka."

"Shh! Chilla kyun rahi ho? Main yahan bas kapre lene aaya tha. I will be going to Pune for 5 days, mumma's health isn't well."

"What? What happened to her?" She asked worriedly to which he smiled and replied

"She is fine. Her health wasn't good but now she needs to do heart surgery. So I will be gone for some days. And you will attend the college." She bobbed her head and getting up from the sofa moved towards the kitchen making him frown.

Soon she came back and handed him some sandwiches which bought for herself.

"I know you won't eat anything now. But it's not good to travel on empty stomach. And let me know how aunty's surgery goes." He smiled and bobbed his head.

Bidding bye to her, promising to update about the situation left from there. She smiled brightly and settled down on the sofa. She took her phone and called Navya who immediately picked up.

"Navya!!!!"

"Hanji! Ho gayi baat? Patch up ho gaya?"

"Huh? Tumhe kaise pata?" Nandini asked to which she replied

"Tumhari avaj se. Chalo accha hai aaj se mujhe tera woh devdas vala chehra nahi dekhna padega."

"Tujhe marungi main Navya! Kal mil tu." They continued their bickerings, teasing each other.

Later on after having 1 sandwich she lied down on the bed and took her phone. That time something striked her. She immediately took her phone called Manik. He was driving so he connected it with the bluetooth and picked up the phone.

"Yes Nandini!"

"Aapne college kyun choda?" He was startled with her question.

"What?"

"Aapne college kyun choda?" She asked again to which he sighed and replied

"Let's talk about this when I come please. Right now I'm driving. And also I was going to tell you but these things happened. So I'll tell when I come back."

"Hmm..." Soon they cut the call. After long time Nandini got a proper sleep today. Around 1 Manik reached home so instead of calling her he messaged her saying he reached.

Two Days Later

Nandini came out of the library with some books to prepare for her ISA which is within 5 days. It's a presentation.

"Huff! Why did I even choose that topic? I have to read so much." She mumbled and came out of the college.  She took a taxi to the apartment when her phone rang. She smiled seeing the number

"Hello! How is everything over there?" She asked softly.

"All is good. Just wanted to inform that mumma ki surgery khatam ho gayi hai. Everything is well. The doctor said she is at safer side." Manik said to which she sighed in a relief.

"Thank god!"

"Tum kya kar rahi ho?" He asked to which she told him about the presentation and going home.

"Okay. Theek se jana. Sote vakt make sure you lock the door properly otherwise ask Navya to join you." She smiled at his concern.

"I'll keeo in mind to lock the door properly. I can't call Navya even she needs to prepare for her ISA."

"Hmm, chalo I'll call you later on. Doctor ko milna hai." Bidding bye to each other they cut the call. Soon even Nandini reached the apartment.

Like this 2 more days passed on both being busy in each other's work. When Nandini was in the canteen she got call from Manik but it was his mother who spoke to her. They spoke about each other's health and other stuff.

Nandini later in evening went to meet the stationary guy to apologise to him for being Ms. India for a long time. But when she told him he was really calm about it. She did her work nicely today and finished around 8:30. So the owner said he will drop her.

They both reached Manik's apartment when it was 9 clock. Thanking him she entered the apartment. But what got her suprise was Manik's presence. Her happiness knew no bound. She directly jumped on him making him chuckle.

"Aap toh parso aane wale the na?" She asked breaking the hug to which he replied.

"Kya kar aapse raha jo nahi gaya." She blushed and smacked his tummy.

"Oh shit! I didn't cook anything. If you would have informed me about your arrival  I would have made something."

"It's okay. You don't have to get worked up. I have bought while coming. Now come on freshen up and let's have food." She smiled and went to her room to change. Soon she came out to witness him serving me in the plates.

They settled beside each other instead of front. They had a meal together after really long time. They were happy. Within 15-20 minutes they were done.

"Ab toh bataiye why did you leave the college? Is it because of me?" They were sitting in the blacony. Listening her question he smiled and looked at her.

"One reason is that also but the main reason that I have been apointed in Brittos college. And it's my dream place. So couldn't ignore it." He winked at her making her lips form 'o'

She hit his bicep making him laugh. They continue their talks there only with lot's if teasing. Specially him. They needed that comfort and they got it. Unknowingly they slept over there only and the stars kept on shining as if giving them the blessings which they deserve.
