5 days have passed now that Nandini has been staying at Manik's place. Her mind has been constantly busy in those thoughts that she ends up ignoring the food until Navya informs her. She wants to come out of the shell but the societical thoughts always eats up her mind.

She gets up late, doesn't eat properly until reminded. She even has stopped going to college which will eventually affect her studies which she knows. But her heart isn't ready to move out from there.

Today she decided to go to college. She got ready into simple jeans and top and without having anything she moved out of the apartment. She was walking like a lost soul when Navya joined her who came to see her.

"College?" She asked to which Nandini just bobbed her head. They took the auto and left towards the college.

Navya didn't speak a word to her. Within 20 minutes they reached and paying their fare they got down the auto. Today suprisingly everyone were busy in their world. Talking about their own stuff. Nandini's matter was long forgotten now.

"Nandini...." Navya called her seeing her going at the back seat. She sighed and went towards and took the seat. It was surprising for everyone to see Nandini who used to sit infront is now sitting behind.

She kept her head now and kept looking outside the window. The teacher came and took attendance but seeing Nandini she sighed and marked her present. 2-3 lectures went by and now was his lecture.

Nandini opened her eyes and looked at Navya who was writing something. She realised whose class it is so she immediately got up making Navya startled.

"Hey! Kya hua? All okay?" She asked worriedly.

"I need to leave!" She mumbled and taking her bag she moved to go when some other teacher came making her halt the legs.

"Good morning students. I'm your new teacher for history. Due to some reasons the previous sir left the college." He said making all groan where as Nandini was shocked to react. Looking at her the sir asked what happened? to which she shook her head and went back to her place.

"Tumhe pata tha that he has left the college?" She asked as soon as she settled herself beside Navya. Navya sighed and asked

"No, but why do you even care? Tumhe toh bas chutkara chahiye tha na. Now he is gone. You can attend your lectures peacefully." Listening her Nandini sighed and looked down with tears forming slowly in her eyes.

The whole passed like anything but a disaster for Nandini. Everyone were talking about why Manik left the college. Where is he now? Has he left the state? Etc! It was making her suffocating for her. She immediately decided to go back to the apartment thinking he might be there.

Apartment

As soon as she reached inside the apartment she could feel his presence but alas it wasn't true at all. He wasn't there.

It broke her heart knowing he left the college because of her and she wasn't ready to digest the fact.

"It's all because of me!" She kept blaming herself. Unknowingly or knowingly she felt the core reason of being the disaster.

Next day

She stared at her phone. His name showed on the screen. She sighed thinking whether to call or not. She has been ignoring him almost a week now.

"Couldn't he atleast message? But...why will he message? When he himself said he is giving me space." She took a deep breath and looked up on the ceiling.

Staring it for a long time she frowned thinking about her thoughts.

"Why? Why am I being like this? When I myself want him to go away. But...where is he staying? Isn't this his apartment? I have been living her since a week. Where is he now?" She got worried thinking about this.

Without thinking anything she immediately called him. Twice, thrice the call went unattended making her worried.

"Navya!" She immediately called her who picked up her call within 2 rings.

"Where is Manik?"

"What?" She was startled with her question.

"Where is he?"

"I don't know! I didn't contact him." She said making her worried.

"Navya! If you really know then please bata de. I don't know where he is staying from past 1 week. I have been staying at his house. I'm worried yrr!" She cried with negative thoughts running in her mind.

"Accha! Yeh sab kuch tumne pehle kyun nahi socha? Aaj kahan se yaad aa gayi? Aur sacchi kahun toh I really don't know where he is. Tum khud pata laga lo." She scolded her making her cry more. She immediately cut the call.

"Where are you?" She mumbled under her breathe.

Somewhere

"Close to your heart." He mumbled looking at his phone screen.

"Tu kya usko hi dekhta rahega?" Hr turned to see his best friend Cabir standing with 2 cups.

"Jabse aaya hai tabse depressed hai. Uska phone nahi utha raha hai. Itni hi care karta hai toh utha le na phone." Cabir said handing him the cup who took it and chuckled.

"Itni jaldi nahi Cabir. She has to realize what I mean to her. Being there obviously would have made me go to her. But I want her to realize if she really wants me or not." He said staring at the cup. Cabir sighed and mumbled under his breath something making Manik frown.

Five Days Later

She walked down the stairs and settled herself on the last step and took a deep breath. Passing time she has come to conclusion that being away from him is more difficult than being close.

She so want to go back but somewhere again those negative thoughts are irritating her making her stop.

She got up and went to canteen and settled in the corner. She looked at the couple who were arguing over the food. She remembered when they both argued when they had gone out for dinner.

Flashback

There were no groceries at home making both Manik and Nandini sad. They were hungry and Manik being late lateef ended forgetting.

"Let's go out!" They both went out and in one of the dhaba and ordered food.

"Sir!!! This is mine. Have yours." Nandini cribled seeing him eating from her plate making him point out.

"Oh hello! Taste karne bhi nahi dogi? How mean you are." He said making her bob her head.

"If not sharing my food means I mean then I'm! I don't like when someone touche's my favourite food. Aap apne food pe concentrate karo." They fought alot over the food but they enjoyed also. Later on they went for ice cream treat.

She kept staring at them but at one point she realised what she is doing so she looked down. Later evening when was coming back to the apartment she messaged him.

I want to meet you! Please don't ignore my calls. It's a request.

She sighed seeing the message gone but unseen. He was online but was ignoring her. She got down from the bus and taking some sandwiches she moved upstairs unknown to the situation she might have to face.
