Here is the update after like decades!

Next day

Nandini came out of Manik's room without making any noise as Manik's mother and sister were still sleeping. She had to get ready for her college and also needed to make breakfast for everyone.

"How should I go inside the room? Sir might be sleeping." Biting her lips she slowly moved towards the room and twisted the knob and luckily it was open. She slightly peeped into the room to see the bed empty. Sighing she slowly moved inside and went to take her clothes out when Manik out of the bathroom all sleepy. She was shocked seeing him.

Manik turned back feeling someone's presence and he immediately straighten himself seeing Nandini over there.

"Mmm...main woh kapre lene aayi thi." Nandini said looking here and there.

"Mm..yeah..you use the bathroom. I'll go." Before she could stop him he had already left the room. Nandini went into the washroom to get freshen up.

Manik settled himself on the sofa and shook his head trying to remove his remaining sleep.

"What must be she thinking of me? Stupid! How could you use her bathroom idiot Manik!" Scolding himself he sighed and looked at the time to see it's only 6.

"Yeh itni jaldi kyun uthi?" He turned behind only to see Nandini coming out in a blue colour jeans and a printed blue colour kurti.

"Why did you wake up so early?" He asked to which Nandini replied

"Umm...sir aap bhool gaye? I need to clean the house and make breakfast."

"Nandini, that's not needed. Maa and di will think I'm making you do all the work. Leave it for today actually stop doing it from today."

"No...how can I? I can't stay at your house in free...let me do this." Nandini said pleadingly making Manik sigh and stare at her.

Around 7:30 am

Manik's mother came out of the room all freshed only to witness Nandini and Manik arranging the table.

"Haye! Dono kitne ache kag rahe hai. Kaash yeh dono pati patni hote." She smiled imagining them as married couple and took their photo in her phone.

"Arey waah! Kya Khushboo hai. Kya banaya hai?" She asked coming closer to them.

"Methi ke parathe aur poha." Nandini replied with a smile. Manik's mother smiled and looked at Manik who came out of the kitchen with the tea.

"Manik! Manik!" Shouted his sister making everyone scared.

"What is wrong?" Manik asked entering into his room to see his sister holding her leg and crying.

"Kya hua? Aap theek ho?" Nandini asked sitting beside her checking her leg.

"I swear Manik change the tiles. Gira hua pani bhi nahi dikhta." Manik's sister scolded him.

"I'm fine Nandini. Oww! Kamine help kar." Nandini's eyes widened listening where as Manik gritted his teeths and helped her to sit on the bed.

"Stop calling me by names. Woh kya sochegi?" Manik asked making her roll her eyes at him.

"Dard ho raha hai kya? Jyada lagi?" Examined their mother. Nandini pulled the drawer if the table beside the bed and took out volin spray. She sprayed it on her leg.

"Thodi der mein theek ho jayega." Nandini said softly to which Manik's sister thanked her. Manik later on picked her up and took her to the dinning table to have their breakfast.

They had their breakfast peacefully. Laughing, teasing each other. In an all this Nandini noticed totally different Manik. She sighed and looked down gulping the morsel she had in her mouth.

Today also Nandini and Manik skipped the college. Manik skipped it because of his mother and sister where as Nandini wasn't in a mood to go due to some reason. She had to go her part time job.

While making lunch Nandini and Manik's mom were chatting more like his mother telling her different stories making her happy. Nandini decided to leave early today.

"Mmm...sir... I'm leaving for the work." Nandini said standing beside him.

"You want me to drop you?" He asked softly since his mother and sister were right infront of them. Nandini shook her head and said she will go by herself.

He bobbed his head and Nandini left the house bidding bye to them. His mother out of nowhere said

"Why did you not give her lift? Does it look good to let her go by herself?"

"I offered her thr ride. Usne mana kar diya." Manik replied to her question going through his phone.

"Manik... mujhe pata hai I misunderstood your relation but....if you choose someone for you make sure either she is like her or she." Listening her Manik's eyes widened in horror. Ofcourse he has feelings for her but what his mother said was something difficult to process.

"Maa...she is my student. How can you say like that? Bacchi hai woh." He exclaimed making her and his sister roll their eyes.

"Shut up! I saw you...the way you were looking at her today. And she isn't bacchi idiot. You better use proper words for her. Aur kharabi kya hai usmein?"

"Kuch nahi. It's just that she is my student maa. You thought way beyond it. We don't love each other. After few months she might leave from here." Manik said in a hell serious voice which was breaking him unknowingly.

"Usse pehle tu usko apna bana le. I'm telling you...agar woh meri bahu nahi banegi na toh koi nahi banegi." Saying this his mother left from there to Manik's room.

"What the hell! Yeh kya bahu bahu laga rakha hai kal se?" He asked in a irritated manner. His sister laughed and said

"Maa is high in Nandini's drug! Vaise even I like her." She left laughing leaving a shy and irriated Manik.

"God! Pagal ho gaye hau dono." Manik murmered under his breath and gor up from the sofa with his phone checking the college work.

He came in his room to take his laptop and someone filed to prepare for tomorrow. Once he settled down on the sofa his mind diverted to somewhere or should we say in someone's thoughts.

"God! Nandini you are driving me crazy." He sighed looked at his screen to continue his work. After like eorking for 3 hrs Manik finished his work and at that time only the bell rang. He frowned and got up to open the door.

He smiled seeing her back after her work.

"Hey! Good evening. You cam early?" He asked letting her come inside.

"Yes. I went early na so the owner said I can go early. I'll freshen up and make something." She said moving towards her room but stopped listening Manik.

"Not needed. We will be going out to have good. So have bath and get ready."

"Umm... that's good. But I'll stay at home. Vaise bhi it's family time so you guys spend it nicely." Nandini said and moved inside before Manik could say anything. His mother had come just now and heard their talks.

"Manik. I'll speak to her. You go and get ready."  He bobbed his head went to his room to freshen up. His mom went and knocked on Nandini's door. She opened it for her and let her in.

"Nandini, I'll choose the outfit till then you get freshen up." Nandini stared at her in hesitation.

"Aunty...you all go I'll stay here. I don't want to ruin...."

"Oh please. Nandini you are here staying at Manik's place not as a student but as a friend. Aur friend ki mummy hone ke naate I want request you. Please come with us. Anyways we are leaving tomorrow."

Nandini felt bad and couldn't deny her request. She agreed and his mother pushed inside the washroom and took a simple dress for her.
