| PERSONALITY |

Romèos personality is pretty much a mystery. If you meet him on the streets you'll see him staring off into space as he walks, but he will still be able to avoid anyone, stepping out of their way if needed, moving out of the way to stop going near someone, he cannot go near people he doesn't know on the streets, not wanting to bump into them and create a problem, or get into an accident. He is distant to anyone, even if you're his friend. He won't open up he will keep his issues and problems to himself, for example when he is shattered due to working on a case for the entire night and goes into work the next day people will ask if he is ok, and he will simply nod and walk away. He has a charming side, but it only shows when he is interrogate someone, if they are being a difficult person to interrogate. Romèo believes he doesn't need anyone else in his life, that he doesn't need love, he doesn't need someone else in his life. He has told himself that all he needs is work and that's all. Romèo doesn't go on dates, it's a waste of valuable time that he could to spend on cases he works on, meaning he is able to solve them quicker and bring happiness back into peoples lives.

However when he is around his friends, like Donate. He will be more relaxed, able to joke around and genuinely laugh (sometimes), but its rare. He gets shy easily and embarrassed when someone says something about him, like complimenting him on his looks, but he won't show it...or try his hardest not to. He won't be as serious as he would be at work..but he will always have work in mind, meaning he isn't going to be fully focused on the conversation. Which can cause arguments and issues, it has happened a lot as well. People have learnt to be careful around him, if they say something that is on the lines of something he is working on, he will question it, and immediately become suspicious of them. He doesn't let his guard down, knowing even the most kindest of people are able to be evil. He knows fully well that people can wear masks to disguise their true personality.

When it comes to Romèo's love life, that is pretty much nonexistent. Sure he has had... well one partner in life. But he will never speak about the person, no matter how hard you try to pry it out of him. He is as closed off as an oyster at the beginning, and the relationship could seem like a close friendship. But he will slowly open up. Hugging you more, kissing your cheek or forehead as a good night, or a good morning. He will allow you to sleep in his bed with him... But nothing sexual will happen. Unless you're considered extremely close. He will begin to show you that he does appreciate you, buying you small gifts, like your favourite food, flowers, a necklace perhaps. Romèo is the type of person to overthink a relationship too. With trust issues coming into play, he will often fall out with you at the beginning. He takes a relationship slow, if you're the right one for him, well don't try and force that thought into his head. It won't work.

⚠︎︎ His job, being a detective. Romèo loves to help people out at times when they are struggling with the darkest time in their lives, like when a family is on grieving he will be able to solve a case on who killed their son, daughter, brother, sister...etc. To see that small smile on their faces, and hear them say thank you, to be able to bring some hope appear back into their lives.

⚠︎︎ Smoking. Yes it's bad and he knows it's bad. However it helps release his endless amount of stress, allowing him to relax and calm down, to stop some of the racing thoughts in his head. Even if he is smoking he will be working. Once he gets home to his house Romèo would sit down at his desk after a long day at work and smoke, perhaps with a glass of some kind of alcohol...but that's pushing it.

⚠︎︎ A simple meal. It could be Rice and a omelet, or grilled cheese, perhaps it can be just a simple salad with cherry tomatoes. Sure the meals can be easy to make and they probably isn't something you could order in a restaurant. But it reminds him of times that were hard for him and his parents especially when his little sister was brought into the world. He also likes ready made noddles, simple bland foods like that.

⚠︎︎ Training to become stronger. After all for his job he has to be active right? You can't be a detective if you don't have the energy to run after the criminal. You can see muscle but not as much as other people, he doesn't like showing off his body anyway... Going on these long runs every morning and every night. Romèo would go to the gym when he is free and train for hours on end, whether it be swimming, going on the treadmill, or the rowing machine. Lifting himself up, doing push ups. Anything that is classed as exercise he will do.

⚠︎ Clothes that cover him up, like baggy sweaters, jumpers, hoodies, jackets, long sleeved shirts, sweatpants, jeans. Anything like that. Sure in summer he will wear shorts but he will have a baggy shirt on. He hates clothes that are tight. After all he had grown up wearing loose and over sized clothes. Unless he is wearing his uniform and working you won't see him wearing anything else that is tight.

⚠︎ Looking after his sister and mother. Ella has always been considered as a little Angel to him, often being over protective and worried about her. He enjoys seeing her smile, deeming her the only thing that can make him truly happy. He enjoys visiting his mother too, when visiting her that's the only time he will take time off of work.

⚠︎ Expensive foods. Don't force Romèo to have something expensive, spicy or sweet. He hates it. He feels guilty when someone gives him expensive food, knowing he shouldn't have it, that his parents should. However Romèo would sit there and try and eat it because that's how he is, he won't pass down food, he has been taught to appreciate any food and be grateful. Otherwise its rude to him, so he will eat it, but don't expect him to like it! If you ask if he liked it, Romèo would just nod and smile.

⚠︎︎ Drugs. Why would someone sign their life up to become a living nightmare? To fail, to mess it up. He hates them with a passion. The amount of crime scenes he has investigated with the person dying due to the use of drugs, how many peoples lives have been destroyed. Debt, misery, death, family in grief.

⚠︎︎ Not being able to solve a crime in less than a week, it's horrible! Why can't he solve it? Romèo hates to think how others are suffering because he can't complete his job. After all that's why he was chosen right. So when he doesn't expect him to be in the most biggest moods, isolating himself until he does, ignoring calls, ignoring anything that isn't related to work.

⚠︎︎ Snobby people. Why can't they understand how other people feel people 'lower down' than them. Why can't they understand some are unfortunate and other people who can't work due to issues, with mental health issues, issues with their health, issues with their performances at work. How things go wrong sometimes. People who think they're better then anyone because they have more money then normal, and think that people aren't as 'good' as them. He hates snobby people with a burning passion.

| STRENGTHS |

☔︎︎ Being able to pick up on any suspicious behaviour. He can notice it, even if it's a simple slip up. He will begin to get suspicious, trying to get closer to you without it being noticeable.

☔︎︎ He can be kind, he will smile and nod when you ask questions, like 'did you like that' if he thinks you'll get offended or hurt he will make sure that he says something that wont hurt you.

☔︎︎ Romèo can blend into any scenery. If you want someone who is kind and caring then he will do that, but he won't open up, and still act slightly mysterious. If you want someone who is able to dance and get tipsy in clubs, then here he is, he can do that! However don't think you will get any kind of information out of him. That's still a massive no.

☔︎︎ Being able to work hours on end without sleep. Romèo can work and work, without coffee. He won't relax until he has covered everything. Adding clues together before catching the criminal. Anything like notes, the style of writing, spellings, langue. He can easily figure it out even if he just has those clues at the start.

☔︎ Due to working pretty much anywhere Romèo can speak multiple languages, often learning them in his spare time. Italian and German, Russian, a little bit of French as well. He can also speak a bit of Chinese... that often being needed.

| WEAKNESSES |

☔︎︎ Spicy, and sweet foods. He doesn't like them, but he can eat them, just to be polite. But when he is alone and ordering food he will order bland foods. You'll never catch him with  something sweet or spicy. Never.

☔︎︎ If someone speaks to him and they're snobby he will struggle to hold back... getting snappy and annoyed with them in an instant. Just be careful...

☔︎︎ Gets angered easily once a week has passed and he hasn't solved a crime, stay out of his way and don't say something to annoy him. Otherwise you'll get a glare and something mumbled your way. Probably a curse. Just a small warning.

Romèo has black hair, sometimes the tips will be dyed, blue, red, purple...any colour that Donate thinks suits him. He is often forced around to Donte's place because he wants to try it out. He has hazel brown eyes, that are often closed off, allowing no emotion to get through. His lips are a rose like pink, soft and pillow like, he has a sharp jawline, his body is toned and has some muscle, but he doesn't like to show it off, he has a faint outline of abs. He is a light tan, and rosey cheeks. On his upper chest there is a tattoo.

His favourite outfit is his grey baggy shirt with black sweatpants, with a chain necklace and a simple black bracelet. If he is at home alone he will tie his hair up into a small ponytail so he can focus more without it flopping into his face.
