Demon Hunt-- Madeli's Irony

Madeli could feel the world shifting away from herself, as it often did... It never accomplished its job, did it? She was always dragged back to life, by a figure, one that looked like Kirine, into life. And she was always taken from a figure of death that had begun to look like The Shifter... Always. Just like everything else, what she the desperately wanted was taken...

But now it was different. Brown eyes snapped open, and she saw life. And she saw The Shifter standing at it. She was holding out her hand to Madeli... But... She couldn't reach her... Kirine now dragged her towards death.

And it was then Madeli realized that, in pure irony, after all her years of wanting to die...

She now wanted to live.

The Other Side Of The Gun- They Love Each Other.
"Don't cry. It hurts me a lot when you cry."
'Were we really too young to decide whether we loved one another? Or is that something grown ups say to keep kids away from the ones the parents don't like?'
She knew the answer. If she didn't love him, then why was she dying inside? Why was she sobbing?
If he didn't love her, then why was he chained up, beaten up, unresisting of his fate, since he knew it would keep her safe. Reassuring her that it was worth it for her.
They loved each other. They weren't too 'young'.
"You put this upon yourself. Are you ready for your sentence?"
"I'll see you soon."
Which one was really the bad one?
He collapsed, breathing lightly, and she took his hand, sobbing.

"Ree... Calm down--"

"No!! I can't calm down! Not when I'm the only one in this stupid, destroyed world that can fight! Everyone is too... Is too incompetent!! No one is good enough!"

By this time, Renée's tears had already fallen, dripping down dark cheeks. Rae knew what was happening. Her eyes widened. She begged, begged the art god who placed them in this situation in the first place, to not do this to Renée. Not her best friend.

It didn't seem he heard.

"DO YOU HEAR ME, RAE!? YOU'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH! VIVIANNA'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH! NO ONE! NO ONE IS GOOD ENOUGH!"Renée screamed out to her. The bubble that could very well corrupt her grew at a fast pace from the pin on the back of her head. Rae was forcibly reminded of her own previous Corruption, and, by her best friend's screaming, of Vivianna's. She shuddered in fear, wondering what the currently Corrupted girl would do if she found her love's body near her rival's Corrupted. The bubble soon weighed down Renée. She felt forward into hands and knees, struggling.

"Persis wasn't good enough..."She sobbed, and she looked up. Her eyes weren't hers. They belonged to a Corrupted creature.

"IM THE ONLY ONE THAT'S GOOD ENOUGH!"And the bubble expanded instantaneously. Rae screamed, only one thing going through her mind. She couldn't lose her best friend. And she grabbed Renée's unwilling hand, just as the bubble swallowed them both.

Their bodies melted together as Reneé transformed...

Their bodies swirled together, as Renée expanded.

This wasn't supposed to happen... But it can still work... It doesn't prohibit me.
