A Colby Brock One-Shot

It was Friday night and all you wanted to do was sit on the couch and watch Netflix. 

You pulled the blanket over your body and got in a comfortable position as the movie started, it was your all time favorite movie and it was just put on Netflix. 

Then suddenly *Knock*Knock*

You groaned and sat up, it was dark outside so you couldn't see outside the window to see who was at the door. 

"WHO IS IT!" You yell as you turn your head towards the front door.

"IT'S SAM!" Your best friend Sam yells from behind the locked door. 

"AGH" You moan as you throw the blanket off the couch and shuffle towards the door. 

You unlock the door and slowly crack it open. You stick your head out and you're immediately greeted by the cold winter air. 

"What?" You ask him with a straight face. 

"There's a party tonight and you're coming" He says as he tried to open the door but you close it quickly, lock the lock and lean against the door. 

"Come on Please Y/N" Sam begs you through the door. 

"Over my dead body am I going to ANOTHER PARTY" You yell the last part, Sam has so far dragged you to 5 parties this year and all you want to do now is relax and have some you time.

"Please! I promise this is the last one" Sam says. 

"You said that last time" You remind him. 

He lets out a loud sigh. "Colby will be there" He says, trying to get your attention. 

"With his girlfriend Allison" You remind Sam that Colby just got together with with the new girl, Allison Argent. 

"Well, maybe you can break them up!" Sam suggests. "I am not going to break up a couple just so I can be happy" You say to him. 

"Fine then let's go get food" Sam tells you, giving up on the party. 

You zoom to unlock the door and stick your head back out. 

"FoOD!" You exclaim as you let him in, then run upstairs to your room. Throw on some jeans and a tie dye shirt. Then meet Sam by the door. 

"LET'S A GO!" You yell as your grab your shoes and his hand and drag him towards his car.  Sam gets into the driver's seat and you go into the passenger seat, you do your seat belt before putting your shoes on. 

Sam Starts driving, once your shoes are on your start channel surfing on the radio. 

"No, no, heard it too many times, don't know it" You said as you switched between stations, trying to find something you like. Soon after you find a decent song that you don't completely hate. 

When Sam pulled up to the house you could hear the blaring music from inside the car. 

You sighed of nervousness as Sam turned the engine off and you realized he had lied to you. 

"THERE IS NO FOOD HERE!" You yelled at him since he promised you that he'd take you out to get food. "Sorry Y/N, but you need to talk to Colby before he gets married! to the new girl..." Sam says quickly before leaving the car. 

Married? We're only in high school...

You wonder as you leave the dark car. 

Sam is waiting for you outside, he drags into the house, the smell of cigarettes, alcohol, and crack fill your mind. 

"I'm gonna die surrounded by idiots" You moan. 

You and Sam go to the dance floor where most people are drunk and jumping around, trying not to fall over.  The music was dup step, which you personally dislike since all the music these days are just generated by computers. 

I watched Sam make a fool of himself as he danced. I couldn't help but smile and laugh. "Come on Y/N You can't be a party pooper forever" He smiles to you as he grabs both your hands and starts to move your hands in a dancing motion. You try to stay still but you eventually give in and dance with him.

After about an hour later you decide the grab a drink, you kinda already suspected that the punch is spiked with something so you grab a beer from the cooler. 

You lean against the counter and open the cap with your bottle opener ring. (that's an actual thing lol)

You look through the doorway and see Sam talking to a girl with dark brown hair. 

"I ship it" You say out loud as you smile at Sam being happy

"Same" A voice says from your left. You jump back and your beer falls from your hand. You're shocked that Colby Brock is in front of you.

He quickly panics and grabs the falling beer. It splashes on him a little but it didn't crash on the ground. You sigh of relief and put your hand over your heart.

"Thank you, I got scared" You blush as he hands you back your beer. "No problem, sorry about the scar. I had to set Sam up, poor dude is still single" Colby says as you both look back at Sam who is now sitting on a couch with the girl. "Who is she?" You ask him curiously. "Kat? Oh, she's my neighbor, she's had a thing for Sam ever since she moved in" Colby says as he leans over to grab himself a beer from the cooler. He stands up near me and gives me a look. He tilts the bottle in my direction. "Do you mind?" He asks me as he raises an eyebrow. "Nope" I smirk as I take the bottle from him and open it with my ring then hand it bag. "thanks" he smiles as he takes a sip.

"I'm Colby by the way" He says as he glances my way. "Y/N, you're dating Allison right?" You ask just to confirm. "Me? No, we're just friends, jeez you say hi to a girl and everyone thinks your dating" Colby complains. "What about you miss beer can opener? You must get some guys with hat thing" he says, gesturing to the ring. "Yeah right" I laugh. He lets out a little laugh as well.

You guys talked for a while but you started to notice things get a little out of control at the party.

You and Colby went up into one of the rooms that weren't occupied by people doing it, you locked the door then notice there was someone in there.

"Oh, sorry guys" You say as you realize they were talking on the bed, not doing it, so you were kinda relieved that you didn't walk in on that.

"We'll be on our way, come on Y/N" Colby says as he takes your hand and leads you towards the cracked open window. He opens it up and let's go of you and climbs out the window. You stick your head out the window and see that it's safe and you won't fall. You climb out and up to the top where Colby is already perched. "Come on up, the view is amazing" He smiles as you sit beside him.

"We're high up" You say nervously as your hand grip the roof beneath you. "Don't worry Skyfall, I got you" He says to you. "Skyfall? Really?" You ask him at the terrible nickname. "Oh come on! You're scared of falling from the sky it makes sense" Colby explains to you as he puts his hand over your tense hand. You loosen up a little as he moves closer to you.

"The stars are beautiful" He says as you both gaze up at the little twinkling lights, plastered in the sky.

"You know what doesn't compare to the stars?" He asks you curiously.

"Hm?" You ask curiously as he turns to face you, you face him and he raises his hand to your cheek. His hand is warm and soft.

"Your eyes" he smiles at you as you feel your cheeks turn red.

You notice Colby's eyes start to close, you do the same, except not all the way, you keep them open just until your lips touch. Then your eyes close and you soak up the feeling. His lips against yours, his hand moving from your back to your hair, the plays with your hair and you play with his.

"Let's stay here forever" You tell him as your lips separate and you look into his big ocean eyes. I could get lost in his eyes. I almost did... until i felt my body slip...
