Before we begin, young (Y/n) will be wearing her black kerchief around her neck, of course. Her (h/l) red hair will be down. She will wear some short and a cold shoulder tank top similar to this image, but you could change the design if you want. Thank you and enjoy this chapter!

A few days after (Y/n) became Garp's granddaughter,  he was going to take her and Luffy to the mountains to live with a friend of his. Though Makino insisted that (Y/n) could stay with her with, but Garp said that (Y/n) needed some training to become a strong marine one day. To which Luffy and (Y/n) argued that they will be pirates and having their heads being punched.

Now, Garp is taking both Luffy and (Y/n) to the mountains to live for now on. Well, Garp was dragging Luffy by his rubber face while (Y/n) was walking freely.

"What's wrong with being a pirate, Grandpa! Pirates are cool!" Luffy groans in pain as his cheek is being stretched my his grandpa.

"And what makes you think I care?!" Garp yelled.

"I'm going to slap you!" Luffy slapped Garp.

"You know that's not going to work, Luffy." (Y/n) rolled her eyes

"If eating that Devil Fruit wasn't enough trouble for you, now this nonsense! You, (Y/n), and your big brother Ace are going to be fine Marine!" Garp told them. "Grandpa is Ace the other grandson you told me about?" (Y/n) asked. "He is and you two are going to meet him." Garp replied.

"Ow! Ow! I thought I'm suppose to be made of rubber! How come it still hurts so much?" Luffy complained in pain. "Because, Luffy, Grandpa is still stronger than you even with a Devil Fruit power." (Y/n) explains.

Luffy and Garp stopped and look at (Y/n). She just shrugs her shoulders. "What? I'm learning about Devil Fruits."

Garp continued to walk and talk to his grandchildren. "I thought leaving Luffy in a nice village would keep you safe, but pirates won't be satisfied until they get everything. Same goes for you, (Y/n). Being raised in a pirate ship is no good for you. You have too much potential and that's going to help you grow into a fine marine. I also forbid you two to talk to that Red Hair Shanks, he's a terrible influence."

"No! Dad is not terrible!" (Y/n) exclaims. "(Y/n)'s right! Shanks is awesome." Luffy said as he grabs onto a tree. The tree was pulled towards him and Garp as it hits both of them. (Y/n) steps away from them just in time, so the tree wouldn't hurt her too.

"(Y/n) and I are going to be pirates just like him!" Luffy said. "You tell him, Luffy!" (Y/n) cheered.

"OH YEAH!!!" Garp yelled at them.

In no time, the three of them arrived at their destination. It was a house on top of the mountains.

"What's this dump?" Luffy asked. "I don't know, but let's explore!" (Y/n) smiled. Luffy grabs her hand as they ran around as their grandpa was knocking on the door. Suddenly a large woman with orange curly hair with a cigarette in her mouth started shouting as she answered the door. "Hey, shut the hell up!!! Whatever it is you're selling I don't want none!!!"

"Dadan!!!" Garp yells.

Dadan finally realized who she just yelled at as she backs away. "Garp, what are you doing here!?" From behind, two more bandits came out, Magra and Dogra. Garp began to talk to them as Dada apologizes for the cold welcome. She asked if he didn't have another favor for them, because she mentioned about Ace being ten-years-old already. Garp just ignored that as Luffy and (Y/n) continued to run around which annoyed Dadan.

"Speaking of brats, will you shut those two up?" Dadan demanded. Garp grabs hold of Luffy's shirt and placed his hand on (Y/n)'s head. "There yours now." This caused the bandits to be more confused.

"Hey, Luffy, (Y/n). Tell them hello." Garp said. "Yo!" Luffy waved. "Hello!" (Y/n) grinned. "Wait a sec, who are they?" Magra asked. "He's my grandson and I recently adopted her as my granddaughter." Garp answered. The answers caused all three of them to scream in confusion.

"I never heard about this!" Dogra yelled.

"And you want us to take care of those little monsters-little darlings I mean!" Dadan exclaims.

"WELL, NO WAY!!!" The three bandits yelled. "Fine, I'll give you two choices, either you raise my grandchildren or you could send your life in prison. Pretty generous considered all the crimes you've committed." Garp laughed. "NO FAIR!!!"The three cried out.

"The thing is I rather stay out of the slammer." Magra rubbed his head. "If you asked me that on one of Ace's bad days, then I'd might go to the prison option." Dogra remarked. "And three brats? Yeah I don't think so. That boy looks like a real charmer." Dadan said about Luffy.

"Like your face!" Luffy barked. "Luffy!" (Y/n) scolded. "You want to fight, you little punk!?" Dadan spat, but she tripped over herself when she saw Luffy and (Y/n) got distracted by some dragonflies.

As Luffy and (Y/n) were chasing the dragonflies, something fell onto Luffy's cheek. "Ewww! Spit! That's gross!" Luffy touched the spit on his cheek. (Y/n) looked over at Luffy's cheek. "Hey, who did that?! That's not very nice!"

They searched for the culprit as saw a boy sitting on a dead bison, staring down at them. Luffy and (Y/n) ran up to the boy. "Hey, you jerk! You better apologize for that!" Luffy demands. (Y/n) took a closer look at the boy. He did the same thing to (Y/n). As their eyes met, they felt a rush of heat on their cheeks and quickly looked away from each other. "Well? Aren't you going to say sorry?" (Y/n) still blushed as she crossed her arms. The boy still had a blush on his face, but he flashed his attention to Luffy.

Garp walked up to them. "Luffy, (Y/n). This here is Ace. He's three years older than you, Luffy. Which makes him the same age as you, (Y/n). Anyway you two are going to live with him and Dadan from now on." He explained, but Luffy and (Y/n) continued to glare at Ace. As a result, Garp punched them on their heads. "You two play nice."

"We said no!" Dadan yelled. Garp gave her a dark glare. "You'll do it."

This caused the three bandits to be in a shock of fear and after they straightened themselves out. "Sir, as you wish, sir!"

"Well time to hit the road, but there's one more thing you need to know about (Y/n)." Garp said, "What is it?" Dadan raised a brow. "She's in the same situation as Ace. Her father is a pirate as well so be careful with her." Garp explained. "Alright we get it." Dadan said.

Garp went on his way out of the forest. Ace got off of the beast and walked towards the house.

"Say you're sorry." Luffy orders, but Ace ignored him. "Hey, get back here." Luffy pulled down on his hat as he remembers about the hat from Shanks. (Y/n) placed her hand on his shoulder. "Let it go, Luffy. We have to remember what my dad said, we have to laugh it off." (Y/n) twirls a small piece of her black kerchief around her finger. Luffy nods as he wipes off the spit.

They both followed Ace inside the house. They opened up some curtains and saw the room was empty. They walked inside as they tried to look for him. When suddenly some other bandits pulled a dagger around Luffy's neck. (Y/n) pulls out her dagger to attack, but another slaps the dagger out of her hand and pulls her into a choke hold. They demanded some money, but Luffy and (Y/n) told them that they didn't have any. So the bandits demanded that any relative would give them the money. Dogra enters and told them that they're grandpa is Garp. This caused the bandits to be in a full panic. He told them at Luffy and (Y/n) will be staying with them. All of the bandits began to complain about more children living with them, but they stopped when Dadan made food. All of the bandits began to run over to the food as if they were wild animals. Luffy tries to get some meat, but he kept getting pushed away by the grown men.

(Y/n) watched the whole thing as she shakes her head. "I'm staying out of this one." She watched as Luffy was close to get a piece of meat, but a dog took it.

Instead of having meat, Luffy and (Y/n) had their own bowl of rice and glass of water. Luffy quickly ate the whole bowl. He held out his bowl to Dadan. "Old man, can I have some more?" (Y/n) snickered at what Luffy called Dadan.

"I'm a woman! Do you even know where you two are right now, you little brats!?" Dadan questioned. "No." (Y/n) and Luffy replied together.

"Okay, I'll tell you." Dadan had a wicked smile on her face. "This is the den of the Dadan family. We're mountain bandits that rule this mountain."

"You guys are mountain bandits?"asked (Y/n) "Mountain bandits are lame." Luffy said with a bored face. This caused Dadan to plunge a knife near them. She told them that they're stuck with them thanks to Garp. Luffy just wanted some more rice, but he wanted some meat too. (Y/n) and Luffy saw Ace eating a huge pile of meat. (Y/n) spotted a small piece on his plate. She knew how much Luffy loves meat, so when Ace wasn't looking she grabbed the piece of meat and hid it. Dadan began to explain to them how they have to work to get food such as cleaning, laundry, and polishing their items. She told them they have to grow up, but she was interrupted by them.

"No problem." Luffy and (Y/n) blabbed out. Dadan falls over. "No problem?! Not gonna cry and beg for mercy?!"

"Grandpa threw me into the jungle before so I know who to be tough." Luffy told. "My dad and his crew taught me some survival skills whenever I got lost an island. So Luffy and I will be find because there's plenty of water to drink and we could eat some berries and small animals I could cook." (Y/n) told with a smile. "We're both going to be pirates so we have to be strong." Luffy said.

The rest of the bandits were busying trying to get Dadan from the floor as Ace began to walk away. Luffy and (Y/n) wondered where he was going so they decided to follow him. Before they could reach him, the door closed on them.

"Hey, Luffy." (Y/n) reached from her pocket and gave Luffy the piece of meat she had.

"Wow! Thanks, (Y/n)!" Luffy happily ate the meat.

"You're welcome. You could go follow him if you want, I should stay here and help clean up."

"You sure you don't want to come?"

"It's okay, I'll come another time."

"Okay! Bye, (Y/n)!"

(Y/n) waved bye at Luffy as she walks back inside. She spotted Dadan and walked towards. "Is there anything you need me to do?" She asked.

Dadan was confused. She thought (Y/n) left with Luffy. "Where's the other brat?"

"He went after Ace."

"Well...Just wash the dishes and after that you're sweeping the floors!"

(Y/n) shrugged her shoulders and she went to do her chores.
