Roselina POV

When I got inside my house, I tried to sneak up to my room, quietly. It was late and my parents will not be happy if I was on a "date". I shut the front door, hoping that it wouldn't creak. I slipped my combat boots off, making my way to the stairs. I past the living room, about to take the first step on the staircase. "Just where were you today?", a male voice asked, in the dark living room. I turned around, just when my dad turned the lamp on in the living room. Both my parents were sitting in their couches, looking angry at me. I had to make up a lie and quick! "I was at the bar with Carly.", I casually said, hoping that they would fall for my lie. "Oh really, at 12 a.m in the morning, Roselina?", my mom questioned, raising one eyebrow at me. Well shit! "Mom, Carly had to work late today and she didn't want to be by herself.", I lied again. "Today is Monday, Carly gets off at 6:00 p.m, every Monday.", my dad said, looking displeased. "So, where were you, Roselina? Don't lie for a third time. You know, I hate secrets.", my mom said, coldly. Ok, I gotta tell them! "Ok! I was on a date with a guy! I lost track of time and came home late! You happy?!", I yelled, running up the stairs. I didn't care about my punishment! I went in my room, locked the door, and fell on my bed, exhausted. What a night!

Chase's POV

"I got to go talk to her, Roxy. She had no reason to yell at us", I said, heading towards the stairs. "Chase.", Roxy said, grabbing my arm. She stepped in front of me, grabbing both my shoulders. "Listen, she was pressured, and she lost it. We can't blame her. Also, I'll go talk to her.", Roxy sweetly said, kissing my cheek. I smiled at her. For some reason, she changed her personality completely, after Roselina was born. Even though I miss her old personality, I love this new Roxy even more. She actually showed her feelings. "Ok Roxy. Go easy on her.", I said. She smiled and headed for the stairs.

Roxy POV

I knocked on Roselina's door, hoping that she will let me talk to her. "Go away, dad!", Roselina yelled. "It's just me.", I answered. I heard the door unlocked, when I answered. "Come in.", Roselina said. I opened the door, and entered. I closed the door behind me and I went over to sit on Roselina's bed. "Roselina, I'm sorry that me and your father pressured you. We were just worried about your safety. Also Roselina, you need to stop getting in trouble. We got a phone call from the school, saying that you got suspended because you stabbed a girl.", I said. "She had it coming too.", Roselina said, sitting up. I sighed and I looked at her. "Roselina, who were you with, tonight?", I asked. She said nothing. "Ok, you don't have to answer. After all, you said that you were on a "date".", I said. I got off the bed and headed for the door. Before I left, I turned back to Roselina, when she called my name. "Yeah?", I asked. "Am I gonna be grounded?", she questioned. "Oh yeah, big time, for a week.", I answered, leaving the room.
