Hey...sorry it's been a couple days. One of my one shots seemed to flop and it put a damper on my mood. Imma try to update more though.

Damien and Patton ate their dessert, both talking and laughing. Romulus had been asleep for a bit, thank God, and Damien really wanted to make a move again.

He and Patton decided to watch 10 Things I Hate About You together. Patton had made a pillow and blanket fort for them both, smiling happily.

As Damien changed into PJs, his dad messaged him. 'Janus, how's everything going?'

D: hey dad, it's all ok. Nothing special, just about to watch a movie with him. How's things going there?

Dad: like shit, as usual. You didn't do the dishes, dumbass. I mean cmon, you had literally one job.

Damien paused and stared at his phone. His dad hadn't been mean before. He knew his dad didn't like him staying with Patton over the weekend, but Damien didn't know why.

D:.....i did do them though??? Before I left.

Dad: obviously not. I want you home now. I hate how the one time I'm home you're away.

D: dad I can't. I'm doing a project for school. I can't cater to your every whim.

After that, Damien just put his phone away. He finished changing and went back out with a smile. "Hey," he chuckled. He sat down with Patton on the floor in the fort, Romulus taking a nap on the couch.

Patton giggled. He was in a cat onesie, his hood on. "Hey de! Ready to watch?" He asked, getting the movie turned on.

Damien chuckled and nodded. He leaned back into the pillows, watching the movie. He'd never seen this one. His dad was against romcoms, so Damien hadn't seen a lot of the movies on Patton's shelf.

Patton laid back and blushed, leaning on Damien's shoulder. He smiled and looked up at him, only to see the other blushing hard. He giggled and took his hand as they watched the movie.

Around half way through, Patton was asleep. Romulus woke up and Damien laid Patton down, picking the doll up. He hummed and tried doing how Patton showed him earlier. How to gently feed the baby.

It worked and the child stopped crying nearly immediately. Damien grinned and glanced to Patton. He could just...imagine being with Patton later in life. Raising a kid or two with him, holding him close.

Damien shook himself out of that thought process. No, Patton wouldn't like him. He knew that. Patton was too kind for someone like him.

He got Romulus back to sleep and laid him down, going and laying back by Patton. Damien pulled the blanket up and turned off the movie, humming. He smiled to himself.

Damien kissed Patton's cheek gently, knowing he was in too deep of sleep to wake up. "I love you," he whispered, falling asleep soon enough himself.
