*Kellin Pov*

I walk into class five minutes late and I go up to Miss....Blue

"I'm sorry, I was working on this" I say tiredly as I hold out my essay, she looks at me confused and takes it. "you did it? I didnt think you would" She says in almost a whisper. I nod. "I did it" I mumble. It took me hours, but I did it. I walk to my seat, my head hung low and I pass Vic his notebook.

"You okay?" he asks, concern in his voice as he takes the notebook out of my grip.
"Tired" I say softly and then things between us go quiet, no words, miss.blue goes back to grading essays and I look at Vic confused as I notice everyone going into talking mode and doing everything but writing.
"free time" He says pointing at the board where the words 'do whatever unless you need to finish your essay' Vic smiles at me and if I wasnt so tired I would smile back.

"Thanksgiving break is starting, you doing anything fun?" Vic asks and his smile fades. "Oh yeah, they still arent..back.. I.." he says
"Its fine, I'm my own family sometimes, I will find out something" I say "You are always welcomed at the Fuentes house, my parents are coming back tonight and my aunt is going to get us money for the perfect thanksgiving dinner" Vic says happiness coming off of every word he says.

"Aye Quinn!" Jack says from where hes sitting and I look up at him, he waves me over and I sigh. "sorry" I mumble before slowly getting up and going to where Jack and Oliver are sitting.
"yes?" I ask trying not to sound annoyed
"Alex told me before class that we might have a problem and he needs to talk to you about it" Jack says.

"What kind of problem?" I ask confused
"Oliver and Jaime level" Jack says and I look up at Oliver
"But we arent part of this" Oli says standing up for himself.
"It involves breaking up your now real relationship" Jack says and I nod understandingly.

"Why do people do that to me?" I ask and I look over at Oliver who gives me a look of sympathy.
"maybe its because you are you" I turn around, surprised to see Vic right next to me. "So whats going on? Whos doing what to my boyfriend?" Vic asks in a protective tone as he puts his arm around me giving my body much needed warmth.I hold his arms and make them tighter around me as he puts his chin on my shoulder.

"My friend Alex says he knows someone who wants to break you guys up" Jack says softly
"That new kid Alex?" Vic questions and Jack nods "well that kid sounds like he knows what friends to make" Vic mumbles and I pat his arm and he looks at me and I give him a warning glance, Vic looks at me then looks over at Jack who seems offended.

"Oh, you are..Oh.. Sorry" Vic says and he tries to remove his arms from around me but I keep a grip on them.

"Well, no I'm not dating him" Jack says softly. "But Vic at lunch we need you to sit with you're table like always, Kellin will text you all the information or something, but you cant be there when Alex is there" Jack adds and Vic nods understandingly.

"Its Tuesday, thanksgiving break starts on Thursday, why are we not doing anything today?" I ask changing the subject as Vic removes his arms from me and I dont fight to get them back.
"The rest of the week we have off for this class, because she has tons of grading to do" Oliver states and I nod
"Better for us" Oliver adds with a smile.

"We will see you guys at lunch" I say and they all smile at me, I smile back in my now wide awake state. I grab Vic's arm and I kick his leg causing him to groan in pain. "what the fuck!" Vic says loudly.
"Miss blue!" I call out and she looks at me "I'm taking vic to the nurse" I say and she looks to him then nods.
"Vic you have to be careful where you are walking" I say a little too loudly and Vic gives me a look. I hear snickering and I turn to see Oliver trying to cover his laughs "come on Vic lets get you to the nurse" I say and I help walk him out of the classroom. "and we are out" I state and I let go of him almost causing him to fall over but then I grab him and help him stand.
"I didn't kick you that hard" I state and he gives me a look
"You didn't? I thought you broke my fucking leg Kellin" Vic states and before he can continue I push him against the wall, his back colliding with all the posters talking about stupid clubs and activities.
"Well, I'm sorry" I say into his ear and I start kissing his neck, his breathing starts picking up.

"s-school" Vic stutters and I feel his skin shiver as I place a kiss on his chin
"Whatever" I say in a whisper and I put my lips to his, it takes him a minute before he starts to kiss me back, his arms finding their way to the back of my neck pulling me closer, and making me smile into the kiss. The kiss starts to get heated but then we hear footsteps making us pull back and step away from each other To see Mike looking at us with wide eyes.

"You know, I come to school to learn about history, not about how to make out with your boyfriend in the hallways" Mike says and I roll my eyes. "Like you dont make out with Tony while in school" I say and Vic hits my arm lightly. "sorry" I mutter

"Just try to keep your moments in a more private place, I'm going to get a drink of water and pretend this didnt just happen, and please, its school, keep your clothes on" Mike says a bit harshly then goes on his way down the hallway, Vic lets out a huge breath then looks at me.

"So are you going to take me to the nurse?" He asks looking back down at his legs, I roll my eyes. "I didnt kick you that hard" I mumble

"I was only kidding, but really it did hurt" He says and he gives me a quick kiss on the nose. The bell rings and I sigh. "wait here" I state and I rush to our class room and grab our bags before returning to Vic and handing him his bag.

I walk into the lunch room and sit down next to Alex and Oliver.
"So whats going on?" I Ask
"So the other day, Zack and Rian were talking to me and then they had this amazing idea that someone should break up you and Vic because it would be better for Vic, they want me to become friends with you, like close friends and then take you from Vic" Alex states

"Thats messed up" Oliver states
"Tell me about it" Alex says

"so what should we do? You obviously arent going along with the plan" I state
"But they will still be after you" Jack states "We should talk to them" I suggest and every ones eyes go to me.
"Talk to them?" Justin asks "Like what you did to Jesse?" He adds
"Hey he earned it" I say defending myself

"What happened to Jesse?" Jack asks and I shake my head "nothing" I mumble
"Hes scared of Kellin now, not like everyone else, worse, Kellin kicked his ass" Justin says and I smile a wide smile.
"No one messes with Vic and I" I say and I tap the table with my left hand out of boredom.

"Well shit thats why I havent seen Jesse in days" Jack says then he shurgs
"but I really just meant talking I dont feel like wasting my energy on these people" I admit
"I can talk to them" Alex says and he looks at his hands "I will tell them with Alex so they know we mean it" Jack says and Alex smiles. Talk about new couple alert.

"well thanks guys but why cant I be with Vic right now?" I ask because it seems I wont solve my problem and Jack and Alex will for me.

"We need to make it seem like their plan worked and Alex is talking to you keeping you from Vic" Jack says as if its obvious.
"ohh, right" I say softly
"Sorry" Alex says and I just nod. This is going to be another long lunch, theres always a reason Vic and I can't talk, I take out my phone and text him telling him what just happened. He quickly responds saying 'wow everyone hates us'
"I know right" I mumble out loud.

I walk to Vic's gym locker and I sigh
"Hey,why do you seem so down?" Vic asks as he puts his hand on my shoulder.
"Do you ever feel like the world is out to get us?" I ask
"Well it's only two guys trying to get us"
"You're forgetting Oliver"
"Yeah but at the time he was right, you were using me"
"Vic I-"
"I know you love me now, I'm over it" he says cutting me off and he takes his hand off of my shoulder. He gives me s slight smile. "Now are you ready to sit out during gym because I can't do anything" he says looking down at his leg.
"Either way I wasn't planing on doing anything in gym"
"It's always a pleasure doing nothing with you Quinn" he says as he flings his arm around me and we walk out of the locker room and go outside where everyone is either playing soccer or basketball and our teachers practically sleeping while standing up.

'How do you think you did on your essay?" Vic asks as we sit in the same spot we have been lately.
"B, maybe, C but I know for a fact I didnt fail on it, I spent so long on it" I admit
"tomorrow maybe she'll have them graded"
"yay I cant wait!" I say with sarcasm

I drive home and as I pull into the drive way I notice the red familiar car I haven't see in ages, this can't be. Its been weeks. I get out of my car and slowly open my door.
"Kellin, is that you?" My mom calls out in a soft sweet tone.

"Yeah Its me" I say not knowing what emotion to show, should I show anger because they left me alone for ever? Should I be sad because They always leave me without a real warning. Should I be happy to see them? "Wheres dad?" I ask confused as she comes into view.
"He went to work, you know your father, he works all day all night, he'll be back tomorrow afternoon" She says with a smile and she puts me into a hug, it takes me a few minutes before I return the hug.

"Im sorry" she whispers, my mom has always been more caring than my dad so maybe I should be happy shes home for now and maybe mad about my dad. Sounds even to me.

*Thursday Afternoon!*

Yesterday was pretty good which I wasn't expecting, Miss.Blue gave me a B on my essay and told me that hanging out with Vic was the best thing I could ever do. I don't know if she knows I'm more than friends with Vic or not but I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't know, I am pretty cuddly with him when shes not looking. I know Vic doesn't like attention sometimes. When Vic asked me what I got, I faked disappointment and his smile went away causing me to give me his paper which made him hit me with it and smile. "You ass! I was starting to be sympathetic for you!" He said making me laugh. "I'm so happy for you" He said and he kissed me before giving me my paper back.
"read it over break, so it can remind you of me" I said handing it out and he looked at me, I nodded giving him the okay and he takes it back.
"I will give it back to you when I see you again"

Then Lunch came around, Alex sat with us and him and Jack told me that they talked to Rian and Zack telling them that Vic and I are really good together and not to mess with us or they will get seriously hurt, not only mentally or emotionally but physically. Lunch was short due to Mr.Sanders coming in and giving a speech about he hopes we all have a good break. the rest of the day went buy really fast, during gym, I told Vic about my parents being back and my mom seems to actually feel bad that she left me alone, maybe she felt bad because I almost spent yet another holiday alone. Then I told him I havent seen my dad yet and I dont know how to feel, he told me to try not coming out to mean to my mom because it seems that she does want to make it up to me. Then he wished me luck with my dad and he held me in his arms for what could be the last time of the week because its the holiday and you know, family time. Over the past few weeks of real relationship and time with Vic I've almost counted him as my family, like we are married but we arent, it was almost like he wasnt my boyfriend but someone I was and have to spend my life with. So I dont know I expected my parents not showing up and me having to go with Vic. But here I am in the kitchen on Thanksgiving day putting my fingers in the melted chocolate my mom put in a bowl to put on top of her pie. "Kellin, dont tell me you are eating the chocolate!" My mom calls from outside of the kitchen.

"No" I say loudly and I rush over to wash my hands. Yesterday when My dad came home he didnt pay attention to me, didnt say hello, he just walked up the stairs and went to sleep and he is currently still sleeping its 1PM, I guess this is just like Thanksgiving when I was eight and he slept then woke up only for our late thanksgiving lunch and then went off to watch football.

The oven bell goes off and I hear my mom rushing down the stairs and getting close to me. I stand away from the kitchen and go to the other side of the counter.
"You missed the chocolate around your face" My mom states as she opens the oven and takes out the pies. She puts them out on the counter in front of me and then closes the oven before it makes the alarm go off. I wipe off the chocolate from my face.

After the quietest thanksgiving ever with my dad not even noticing I was there or saying hi to me he goes to watch football at his brothers house which is about an hour away from mine my mom with him telling me to meet them there whenever I want. She told me to get rid of the rest of the pie by giving it to someone or throwing it away when shes not looking. So Right now I have half a pie in a pan plate on my passenger seat and I'm driving to Vic's place. I park the car and I inhale the slightly cold night air as I get out of my car with the pie. I knock on the door and Mrs.Fuentes opens it and smiles at me. "Kellin! Vic didnt tell me you were coming" She says
"Oh I didnt tell him, I just wanted to see if you wanted some of my mom's famous pies, she has this thing where we arent allowed to eat more than a piece each, and my dad took two but hes my dad, then I was going to leave and let you guys have family time" I state and I hold out the pie and she takes it. "You are family, come on in for a few minutes" She says with a huge smile. "Please" She adds and she steps aside to let me in.
"Vic! Kellin esta aqui" She says and I see Vic rush down the hallway.
"Kellin" he says surprised like he hasnt seen me in years even though he saw me yesterday and he flings his arms around me putting me into a huge hug making me laugh. I hear Mrs.Fuentes slightly close the door behind me.

"Everyone! Lets sit down for a piece of pie" Mrs.Fuentes says, Vic removes his arms from me "You didnt" He says with a smile

"Didnt what?" I ask
"Bring pie"
"Oh but I did" He smiles wider "Oh god I love you" He says and he looks down at the floor. I take his hand in mine and we go to the dinner table and take seats next to each other. They all put a piece of pie on their plates.
"because of your moms rule I think you deserve to take another slice" Mrs.Fuentes says
"no its fine, its all yours now"
"Kellin dear your mom wont have to know" Mrs.Fuentes says
"Ok I'll have a piece" I say with a slight smile and she gives me one.

"So whats your mom's rule?" Vic asks as he starts eating his pie.
"We can only eat one piece my dad never follows but when it comes to me my mom gets a little strict" I say and Vic kisses my cheek and then he continues eating his pie like no tomorrow. After we all finish and Vic's parents go to the living room to watch tv, I watch Mike about to leave the room. "Hey Mike" I say and he turns to look at me.

"I really hope we can be okay, I dont have the best impression on you, I dont know what I can do to help, I let you into my house and I tried being super nice but it doesnt seem to work,I really am sorry, and today is a day to be thankful and well I guess you being mad at me shows me that I have done a lot of things wrong and that I should get my act together which your brother has helped me with, and so I wanted to thank you for hating me but I really want to start over with you, Vic makes me really happy and I dont want you hating me forever" I say softly and I watch him give me a look of sympathy.

"As much as I hate saying this, your right Quinn, I really think we should start over for the third time" Mike says "Come here" He says putting his arms out and he gives me like a brotherly kind of hug.
"Thank you for making my brother happy" he whispers in my ear and then we back out of the hug.

"Whenever you want to play xbox, the extra key to my house is underneath the welcome mat" I say and he smiles at me. "I'm going to look forward to being real friends with you" Mike says and I smile "You too Fuentes" and with that I turn behind me to see Vic smiling and he puts his brother and I into a huge group hug.

"Okay Vic thats enough" Mike says and Vic lets go of us. "sorry" He says with a grin on his face "I'm just happy we are all okay" He adds.

"I have to go visit my uncle, happy thanksgiving" I say and Mike says happy thanksgiving before going to his room. Vic and I share a soft small kiss before saying happy thanksgiving.

"Wish me luck, I have to deal with little kids" I say and Vic laughs "Good luck babe, I'm sure you'll be okay, you have my number if youre not" He says with a smile. Vic walks me to the door and I say goodbye to his parents, his dad says I cant leave without a hug and him and Mrs.Fuentes both give me hugs before letting Vic open the door, Vic gives me a hug and then he says a small goodbye and I get into my car and now I'm off on an hour car drive to see anything cousins and football.

*Alex pov*

My phone rings and I get up excusing myself from the living room filled with huge football fans, I'm one of them but this phone call is more important right now.

"Hey Zack" I say as I answer tha call and I step outside.
"you away from your new fake friends"
"Yeah I'm in Baltimore right now, no sight of Vic or Kellin, talk away" I say
"You and Jack, wow you have perfect acting got Jack right into your trap"
"So now I just continue trying to cling on to Kellin right? Because they think this plan is done and isnt happening but it really is"
"Correct! and hopefully in no time, they will be over"
"I feel bad for jack though, can we let him into the plan"I admit
"are you insane! Hes so close to Kellin, you let him in, youre out, we will talk about this more after break"
"I will be looking forward to that" I say "Goodbye, happy thanksgiving" I add before hanging up and taking my spot back with the crazy football fans.
"Touchdown!" Everyone screams and we all jump up in happiness.
