It was refreshing to see a glimpse of you after so long.

I thought that was how it was going to be from now on, until you faded and became nothing more than just a distant memory of the past. 

I remember how distraught I had been about it. 

I almost couldn't believe it when I saw you again. 

You weren't supposed to be here, but you are. You came back. I scarcely allowed myself to wonder why.
