You were always a great source of entertainment. 

Now, don't take that as an insult.

I wouldn't notice how funny you were if I wasn't paying attention in the first place. 

It would probably bring you great joy knowing that I was paying more attention than I let on.

While you were obvious and vivacious, taking every opportunity you got, I was more quiet and reserved, only releasing what I wanted into the universe as mental thought bubbles in hope that you would pop one of them.

We're not that different, you and i.

I'm just better at pretending than you are.
