I remember the first time I saw it. 

I was hunched over my laptop with a pen and notebook in hand, dressed in my pyjamas. It was the early hours of the morning, but I always worked better then.

My mind was puzzled over a concept taught during the lecture that day. I went back to re-watch it. 

I saw it then. 

I saw you. 

Even from the fuzzy screen of the recording it was clear what you were doing; who you were looking at when you shouldn't have been. 

How I had missed it during lecture, I do not know. 

I dread to think all those who noticed you staring, stuck in a daze as if I were some enchanting being. I'm not. I'm not that special. 

You were never very good at being subtle.

I convinced myself that I was angry, annoyed at your persistence and determination even though those are traits I usually admired. 

I found myself watching the recording every week.
