CHAPTER TWO: BREAKING THE CONTRACT AND MEETING THE IN-LAW

YOUR POV

My husband Five and I were in Dallas in 1963, we were standing by a parking lot by the fences.

It has being over 40 years since we met and in those years, we actually fell in love, 'cause I realized that Five was not that guy I thought he was.

Five and I even got married, yeah who would have thought that.

Both of us got out of the apocalypse, not because of Five, but because of some woman name The Handler, a crazy evil cold hearted bitch.

She is actually one of the people on my hate list and she have a good reason to be on it.

Anyway, she offered us a job.

We will spend five years working for her in a place called The Commission, not a good place.

She would get us back where we belong in return for five years of service. Once our contract is done, Five and I can retire to the time and place of our choosing with a pension plan to boot.

But Five and I was not gonna do that, yeah we took the job and became the best killers, but I hated killing. For every person that I killed was another guilt to bear and it was heavy caring all of that.

While working at The Commission, Five and I spend a lot of time trying to finished the equations so we could get back.

Five have tried to studie the equations every since he got stuck in the apocalypse. I was never good at equations and math, but thanks to Five who were really patient with me, I got better.

"Is everything ready?" I asked "Everything is ready" Five said as he turned on the radio before he pulled up his sister's book, the one with all the equations before taking some steps back.

We were sent to 1963 on a job by The Commission to make sure that the president JFK was assassinated but we were not going to do our job, we were gonna break our contract instead 'cause Five finally had the right equations. And now we were gonna travel back to stop the apocalypse.

The two of us have realized that we were both helpless and vulnerable in the apocalypse, we were frustrated about getting out of the apocalypse and The Handler took advantage of that. She never truly wanted to help us, and both Five and I have realized that now.

Beside I knew that Five was obsessed in stopping the apocalypse and when you were in the apocalypse, not a day went by where he wasn't worried about his siblings.

The same with me, I was also obsessed in stopping the apocalypse cause all those years in that broken world, not a day went by where I wasn't worried about my family.

Well, today Five and I were going to do something about that.

Five was looking through the book before he pointed to one equation and nodded his head "This is it. I found the way" he said "Are you sure?" I asked as I turned to him "I'm sure, Y/n/n. This is the the right equation" he answered "Let's me see" I said as I walked over to him to look at the equation.

"I don't know, Fivey. It's look like a typo" I said as I looked at the equations.

"What do you mean a typo?" he asked confused "It looks like you wrote five-point-seven. I think it should be zero-point-five-seven" I said "Zero-point-five-seven? Nah. It seem right to me" he said "But Honey--" "Hey, who here can time travel" he said before he pointed on himself "This one right here. So I have more experience" he said "Says the guy that got stuck in the apocalypse and couldn't get us out" I said and he gave me a look.

I love those looks he could give me, no matter what looks they were, I still love them. I love every small part of him.

"This will work, okay" he said "I don't know" I said "Do you trust me?" he asked "With my life" I said "Then you have to trust me that it will work" he said "Are you sure? I mean is not like we are in a hurry. We can also wait till tomorrow or till tonigth or until we are sure that it is the right equation" I said.

Flashback start...

THIRD PERSON'S POV.

A few weeks before the mission in Dallas.

Five knocked on a door "Come in" a voice said from the other side and Five opened the door to The Handler's office.

"Ah, Number Five" she said "You wanted to see me" he said "Yeah, come in and take a seat" she said as she pointed at the chair that was on the front of her.

Five nodded before he closed the door behind him as he enter the room. And he walked over to sit down by the chair.

"Why is it that you wanted to see me?" Five asked "You love your wife, right?" she asked "I do, more than anything" he said "That's good" she said "Is that why you wanted to see me, to ask me if I love my wife?" he asked "No" she said as she shook her head "Then what is it?" he asked "You and your wife tells each other everything, right?" she asked "Yeah" Five said with a nod, a little confused over where this was going "Then you have also told her that you are the reason she was put in a coma for years?" she asked and Five's eyes widened.

"You haven't" she said "'Cause I'm not certain" he said "Well, it was you" she said "How do you know that?" he asked "'Cause we know everything and also we have proof and I can show you" she said before she pulled a tape out of her pocket.

She put the tape in a small device under the smalle TV that was standing in front of Five.

She then pressed play and Five's eyes widened when he saw himself as 13 walking down the street, he saw Y/n walking out of a store and he then saw himself bumping into her with his shoulder, just as he took a second jump.

"Shit" he mumbled as his eyes widened "Yeah, it's your fault that your wife Y/n ended in a coma, she was frozen in time for a few years" she said.

Five pressed some buttons on the TV to scroll the tape back and he watch the scene of him bumping into her a few times, like he didn't believe it or he hoped that it would changed somehow.

"No matter how much you see it. It doesn't changed the moment" The Handler said with a small smile and Five looked at her "Yeah, you are the one that tore Y/n away from her family. You are the reason she didn't get to spend more time with her family" she said as she kept smiling.

"But how did she survive the apocalypse if she was only in a coma for a few years and the apocalypse happened in 2019?" Five asked "That is another story" The Handler said with a small smile.

"You did it" Five hissed as he clenched his fists while he got up "What do you mean?" she asked "You brought her to the apocalypse, didn't you?" he asked "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't" she said and Five clenched his jaw as the anger in him boiled even more.

"Why?" he asked "I saw something in her, the same I saw in you. 'Cause of her anger issues, I knew that she would be a good killer. So I wanted her there, 'cause I would have hope that you would fell in love making you both have a weakness and it turns out that I was right. You two do fit perfect together" she said "You are the one that really took my wife away from her family" Five hissed as he pointed his finger at her "Which wouldn't have happen, if you haven't bump into her. 'Cause if you haven't, I would never have knew that she was a strong person. 'Cause she survive that, and survive the coma and her being frozen in time without any damages. I knew she was someone very strong, so I took her" she said and Five clenched his fists even more.

"But you are the main reason she ended in the apocalypse, 'cause if you haven't bump into her, I would never have knew or even thought about it and I would have left her alone, and she would have grown up and live a beautiful normal life" she said as she put her arms out to the side "So we are both accomplice here" she said with a smile.

"I'm gonna tell her" he said "Do that and I will tell her that you are the main reason" she said "She will understand that it was an accident. So she will not be angry at me, she will be angry at you" he said before he turned around and walked over to the door, putting his hand on the handle.

"Well, if you tell her, then I will tells her about us two" she said and Five froze before he turned around to look at her "What?" he asked "About us two" she said "I don't understand, there has never being a us two" he said.

"Well, then you might not like seeing this" she said before she took the tape out of the device and put another one in.

She then pressed play and the screen showed The Commission's bar. It look like it was taking from an security tape.

It showed a very drunk Five sitting by the bar counter all alone, with four empty alcohol bottles around him while he was drinking the fifth one.

Five remember why he was there, you and him have had a huge fight and Five had then went to the Commission's bar room before he started drinking his anger away. Lucky the bar was empty so no one could see him.

Five couldn't really remember what happened after that.

The screen then showed The Handler walking over to him before sitting down next to him. The two talk, where Five mention that he think that he made a mistake in marrying you and maybe it would have being best that they never fell in love and you both just went your separate ways when you came out of the apocalypse.

Of course Five was so drunk and angry that he said that, otherwise he would never have said that, he love you more than anything.

When you are angry or drunk, you say some things you don't mean.

The Handler then told him that if it's really that hard being with someone like you, he should divorce you and find someone else that match him better.

Then the sound of the tape was cut out.

"Why are you showing me this?" Five asked "Keep watching" The Handler said and Five let out a sigh as he kept watching the tape.

Then suddenly his eyes widened when he saw the screen showing The Handler kissing Five and Five did nothing than kissing her back.

"Yeah" The Handler said as Five froze completely.

The tape then showed The Handler getting up before leaving the room and Five's let his head fell down on the counter before passing out,

The Handler then turned off the tape and Five looked at her "You cheated on your wife" The Handler said "I was really drunk, angry, had a fight with Y/n and you took advantage of that. I don't even remember it" Five said "I don't think that Y/n would see it that way" she said as she tilted her head "First you are the reason she was put in a coma, her body frozen in time. You are the main reason why she was brought to the apocalypse in the first place and now you have cheated on her. I think when Y/n finds out about this, she will be very angry at you. We both know about that temper she can have" she said "You bitch" Five mumbled.

"You better be very careful in what you are doing Number Five. The tape can suddenly land in her position and I think she will leave you once she find out" she said.

Five didn't say anything, he just opened the door "If you don't tell her Five, I will show her that tape" she called after him as he left the room.

Every since that day, Five work harder and harder everyday with finding the right equations, he even work sometimes when you were asleep.

He kept working on the right equations, so Y/n and him could get back home and he made sure that Y/n was with him all the time, so The Handler wouldn't show her the tape.

Five kept his mouth shut about what happen that the office. He didn't tell his wife about him being the main reason she was put in a coma and was brought to the apocalypse it and about him being so drunk that he was stupid enough to even kiss The Handler.

The reason why he wanted to find the right equations quicker was that at some point The Handler would be tried of waiting and she would show Y/n the tape, therefore he had to hurry, so both his wife and him could leave.

Flashback ends...

FIVE'S POV.

'I can't tell her, not now'

"No. We have to do it now. So are you with me?" I asked "Five, you are my husband, I'm with you to the end of time and more. It's you and me, today, tomorrow, forever and a day" she said and I smiled "It's you and me, today, tomorrow, forever and a day" I repeated our motto we made at our wedding when we were having our first dance together as husband and wife.

That was one of the happiest and best moments of my life.

"Let's go" she said and I nodded before I turned around while she walked over to stand next to me "Beside I also think it's time for me to meet my in-law" she said "Yeah and I also get to meet my in-law" I said "My younger brothers are going to love you, I mean you and your siblings are their heroes" she said "Well, I can't wait to meet them, but first we have an apocalypse we need to stop" I said "Of course. The apocalypse first" she said and I nodded.

"I hope your siblings are gonna like me" she said "If not, I will make them. Just promise you will be nice, I know you are not that social" I said and she chuckled "Just do your work, old man" she said "Who are you calling old, you are older than me" I said "Yeah with one year and a few months" she said and we smiled to each other "Hope you are excited to meet them" I said "I am" she said and I smiled before I looked forward.

I really hope that she is gonna love them and I hope they are gonna love her.

YOUR POV

I wasn't exactly excited, I was actually a bit nervous. Nervous to meet my in-law. The people I have heard so much about and have even read about them in a book that was writing by Five's sister Vanya.

I have always wondered if the people were as Five described them and as it say in the book I read.

"Ready?" he asked "Ready" I said with a nod as we looked at each other.

Five then looked forward and clenched his fist as blue light appeared around them. The sound of energy churning was heard and a blue vortex opened while it was making a crackling noise.

He started panting as he opened the portal more, causing it to make a surging noise while the energy started making a crackling noise.

He grunted and cried out as the portal opened more "Are you 100% sure that it is the right equation, so we don't end up in our younger bodies?" I asked "I'm sure" he said before he stretched his right hand towards me "Now, take my hand" he said "Alright but there will be consequence if this goes wrong" I said as I grabbed his hand.

As the portal opened more, we could feel the wind fromt it blowing our hair.

Then we saw four people on the other side of the portal walking out of a building before looking up at the portal.

Then a fifth person came out of the house, he was holding a fire extinguisher before he threw it at the vortex.

The fire extinguisher came out of the vortex and fly past me and Five who looked at the fire extinguisher before we looked confused at each other.

"It's ready" Five said "Let's go" I said as we both took a tighter grip on each other's hand.

We could feel the cold wind on our faces as we pushed our way through the vortex.

Five and I kept holding hands until we both hit the ground with a grunt.

As soon as we were out, the vortex closed and the thunder faded away while the sky turned back to bright.

"Fivey, you okay?" I asked "Yeah, I'm fine" Five answered "Not a nice landing" I said as I let out a grunt "Next time pick a more softer landing" I said "I will try" he said "If we land like this again. I am gonna slap you" I said as we both got up to see two women and three men all staring at us with widened eyes.

"Does anyone else see little Number Five and a little girl with Y/h/c, or is that just me?" one of the men asked and I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

'What are they talking about. What do they mean with 'little Number Five and a little girl' I'm not little anymore and my hair is not Y/h/c anymore' 

"Love" Five said and I looked to the left to see that my husband Five was also in his 16-year-old body, wearing a oversized suit.

The two of us looked at each other before pointing at one another "You look" he said "You look" I said before I looked down at myself and it was there I realized that I was in my 16-year-old body again. "Shit" we both said.

'Five fucked up. I knew something was wrong. He never listen to me when it's something about this. He is so stubborn'

Seeing myself and my husband in our younger bodies brought back many memories from our years in the apocalypse together and even so they were the darkest years of both of our lives, we still loved those memories.

"I told you were wrong" I said before I gave him a small slap in the back of the head "Idiot" I said "Ouch" he said.

"Really Five, 16. Not even 20 or 30. No, teenagers with hormonal bodies. How fun" I said sarcastically "Sorry. But you are still pretty as young" he said "Shut up" I said.

"Five, is that you?" a voice asked which cause Five and I to turn and we saw the five people, looking at the us two.

FIVE'S POV.

"Hello guys, I'm back" I said "How in hell?" Luther asked.

I was actually waiting for them to hug me or at least show on their face that they have missed me, but they just stared at me and my wife in shock.

No, saying 'Five you are finally back, we missed you' or 'I'm glad you're back' nothing, they just stood frozen, looking a bit like idiots.

"I need something to eat" I said before I looked at my beloved wife "Love, you hungry?" I asked "I could eat" she said "Alright, let's go" I said before the two of us walked passed my siblings and into the building, towards the kitchen.

Five and I entered the kitchen before Five walked over to stand by the edge of the table while I jumped up and sat next to the sink.

Falling a thousand feet per second, you still take me by surprise
I just know we can't be over, I can see it in your eyes
Making every kind of silence, takes a lot to realize
It's worse to finish than to start all over and never let it lie

"How stupid can you be?" I asked "Hey, even smart people do stupid things" he said "Yeah, but I told you that the equation were wrong" I said "Sorry Love" he said "You are really a idiot" I said.

And as long as I can feel you holding on
I won't fall, even if you said I was wrong

"I know, can you forgive me?" he asked "No" I said as I shook my head "Come on, please forgive me" he said as he walked closer to me but I just looked away from him.

I'm not perfect
But I keep trying
'Cause that's what I said I would do from the start
I'm not alive if I'm lonely
So please, don't leave
Was it something I said or just my personality?

"You really mess up big time" I said "I know. Please forgive me" he said as he grabbed my hands.

Every time I felt his skin on mine, I could feel my body get warmer, it relaxed more and I felt whole and safe.

Making every kind of silence, It takes a lot to realize
It's worse to finish then to start all over and never let it lie

"No" I said, playing a little with him.

"If I admit I was wrong and you were right, will you forgive me?" he asked "Maybe" I said "Alright, you were right and I was wrong. I'm sorry" he said as he stroke his thumbs over my knuckles.

I couldn't help but smile a bit when he did that.

And as long as I can feel you holding on. I won't fall, even if you said I was wrong

"Will you forgive me now?" he asked "I will have to think about that" I said with a small smile and he put my face in his hands before he turned my head so I was looking at him "Forgive me" he said as he was staring into my Y/e/c eyes while I was staring in his beautiful, soft and warm green eyes.

I always got lost everytime I was looking at them.

I know that I'm not perfect

As I was looking into his warm soft green eyes, I couldn't help but smile "Alright, you are forgiven" I said before I rolled my eyes.

When you're caught in a lie, and you've got nothing to hide
When you've got nowhere to run, and you've got nothing inside
It tears right through me, you thought that you knew me

"You know I can never be angry at those eyes for too long. I can never stay mad at you for too long when you are looking at me with those eyes, giving me that look" I said and he smiled "Well, that is my secret weapon" he said.

"I hate you" I said "No you don't" he said and we both smiled before we rested our foreheads against each other and brushed the tip of our noses against one another while smiling.

We both loved it when we did that.

What would I do without this handsome, caring, kind, amazing and wonderful man in my life?

He is someone who have being by my side for over 40 years, for long than anyone else have, he have never left me or letting me down. He is the person I trust and love the most and nothing will ever change that.

FIVE'S POV.

Then the sound of footsteps approaching was heard which cause us to pull away before I walked back to the end of the table.

My siblings walked in before they all gather by the table.

I put a cutting board on the table before I walked over to get the bread "What's the date? The exact date" I asked as I grabbed the bread "The 24th" Vanya said "Of what?" I asked as I walked back to the table "March" Vanya replied "Good" I said.

That means Y/n and I have eight days to save the world, hope that is enough time.

"So, are we gonna talk about what just happened?" Luther asked.

I didn't say anything, I just ignored him as I put the bread on the cutting board "It's been 17 years and then you come back with some girl" Luther said, getting up from his chair and I looked at him before I let out a scoff "It's been a lot longer than that" I said before blinking behind Luther and stood on a chair to get the marshmallow for the sandwiches "I haven't missed that" I heard Luther said.

"Where'd you go?" Diego asked "The future" I replied and blinked back to the edge of the table "It's shit, by the way" I said "Called it" Klaus said with his finger lifted, he was wearing a black skirt and was sitting on the table with his legs crossed.

"I should've listened to the old man" I said as I walked over to the refrigerator before opening it, to get the peanut butter "You know jumping through space is one thing, jumping through time is a toss of the dice" I said before walking back to the table.

"Well, you know how stubborn you can be" Y/n said and my siblings looked at her "Who is the girl?" Luther asked as he pointed on my wife "Don't point that finger at me moonboy or I'm gonna shove it right up your ass" Y/n said "Darling, you promised you will be nice" I said "Sorry" she said before she looked my siblings.

"Let's see if I got this right" Y/n said before she pointed on Vanya "Vanya Aka Number Seven is the normal one in the family, wrote the book name 'Extra ordinary' Read it by the way, not bad" Y/n said before she pointed on Klaus "Klaus. Aka Number Four. The ability to see the dead and communicate with them. Is always high and get drunk all the time" she said before she pointed Allison "Allison aka Number Three. The Rumor. The ability to rumor anyone to do anything. Is a movie star and has a daughter name Claire" Y/n said before she pointed at Diego "Diego, aka Number Two. Abilities: can curve anything he throw but most used knife" she said before she pointed at Luther "Luther aka Number One. Spaceboy. Abilities: super strength. Being on the moon for four years. It's like superman but much much dummer, plus is a daddy's boy" she said before she lowered her hand and looked at me "Did I get that right?" she asked and I nodded "Yeah, you did" I said.

I was a little surprise that she remember who was who.

"Well, they are not what I expected" she said.

They never are.

"Okay, who are you?" Luther asked "I'm Y/n Hargreeves Russell. I met Fivey in the future" she said "Why is your middle name Hargreeves?" Luther asked "'Cause she is my wife" I replied and my sibling's eyes widened "What?" they asked.

"You are married?" Allison asked "You are over 28 years late to the wedding" Five said "You got hitched in the future?" Klaus asked "I did" Five said.

I remember that both Y/n and I wished that our families were at our wedding, but even so they were not there, we felt their presence.

In the legal terms Y/n and I were not married, with only a mannequin as our witness and a handmade ring that I had crafted with small thin branches and some metal, our marriage was anything but official. But we did not need a piece of scrap metal or a marriage lincence to say we were husband and wife. We were married, Y/n was my wife and I was her husband, end of story.

"I did not expect that" Diego said "I thought you would be the last of us to get married" Luther said "Well at least he is married and we had being married for a long time" Y/n said.

"You have a wife?" Vanya asked, I think they were all surprised that their brother who have being gone for over 16 years suddenly return, is in his teen body and has a wife. 

"I did not expect that" Diego said "I thought you would be the last of us to get a married" Luther said "And that comes from you Luther" I said which 'cause Diego to chuckled

I then looked up to narrowed my eyes at Klaus who was wearing a black skirt "Nice dress" I said before looking back down to make my sandwich "Oh, well, danke!" he said.

"Why are you wearing a black skirt?" Y/n asked "I know it's a little dated, but it's very breathey on the bits" Klaus answered and Y/n let out a small and quite chuckled. 

"Wait, how did you get back?" Vanya asked "In the end, we had to project our consciousness forward into a suspended quantum state version of ourself that exists across every possible instance of time" I explain causing all my siblings to have a confuse look on their faces.

"That makes no sense" Diego said to me "Well, it would if you were smarter" Y/n replied and Diego stood up, ready to go after her, but the Luther put a hand in front of him "Touch her and I will break your legs" I said calm while still looking down at my sandwich.

I didn't care that they were my siblings, if they hurt Y/n, I would make them regret it.

"How long were you two there?" Luther asked "We were there for 45 years" Y/n answered "Give or take" I said and my siblings all widened their eyes while both Luther and Diego sat down.

"So what are you saying? That you and that girl is 58?" Luther asked "No, our consciousness is 58" I said before I closed the two marshmallow and peanut butter sandwiches "Mine is 59 since I'm a year older" Y/n said before looking at my siblings "We look good of our ages, don't we?" she joked.

 "Apparently, our bodies is now 16 again" I said  "And who's fault is that?" Y/n asked "Haven't I said sorry" I said "Sorry is not going to give our bodies back" she said and I rolled my eyes before I gave a sandwich to Y/n "Thank you Honey" she said "You're welcome, my love" I said.

"Wait? How does that even work?" Vanya asked "I kept saying to him that the equations were off" Y/n smiled "Turn out I was right" she said before she looked at me "Who is the smart one now, Hon?" you asked and I rolled my eyes "Bet you're laughing now" I said before taking a bite of my sandwich "I am laughing on the inside" Y/n said with a smile.

I took another bite of my sandwich as I picked up the newspaper from the table to see my father Reginald Hargreeves on the front page and I read the headline above the picture of Reginald.

'The City Says Goodbye to Billionaire Reginald Hargreeves'

"Guess I missed the funeral" I said "How'd you know about that?" Luther said "What part of the future do you not understand?" Y/n asked "Heart failure, huh?" I asked "Yeah" Diego said "No" Luther said.

"Hmm" I said before I clicked my tongue "Nice to see nothing's changed" I said before walking towards the exit "Uh, that's it? That's all you have to say?" Allison asked "What else is there to say? The circle of life" I said as I walked towards the exit "Come on Love" I said and Y/n jumped down before she walked after me.

"Well...That was interesting" I heard Luther said as Y/n and I walked farther away from the kitchen, going towards my old bedroom.

YOUR POV

"Well, not the welcome I expected" Five said as we walked into his old bedroom.

"It seems like my family hasn't missed me at all" he said with a sigh as he sat down on the bed "I'm sure they have in some way" I said "Then they don't show it" he said "Shall I talk some sense in them?" I asked and he shook his head "No" he said "I wouldn't mind" I said and he let out a chuckled "It's okay. It's not like we were the best family" he said "Well, they are not what I expected" I said "They never are" he said as I sat down next to him "Maybe they are just in shock over everything that has happen and they just need to figure it out. Maybe they are a bit slow" I said and he smiled "Yeah they are" he said.

"Why didn't you tell them about what will happen in eight days?" I asked "'Cause they probably wouldn't believe me. Their brother comes back after have being gone for 17 years just to tell them that in eight days the world will end. They would think I'm crazy" he said "Maybe they would believe it if I also told them that it was true cause it is, we spend over 40 years in the apocalypse. I mean we met there, fell in love and got married there" I said "I don't think it would help if you also told them cause they have trust issues" he said.

"What a family you have" I said and he smiled "Yeah what a super dysfunctional family" he said before he looked at me "And you are part of that family now" he said "Great" I said sarcastically "Hey, you knew what you got yourself into when you said yes to be my wife. When you married me, you became part of this family" he said "Well, you were the only other person alive in the world, so I didn't really have any other choice" I joke and he chuckled.

Sometimes Five and I joke about not having any other choice than be with each other.

"Well, I need to change clothes and I'm sure you do too. I think either Allison or Vanya have something you can borrow" he said "I will just take something from their closet" I said and we gave each other a quick kiss.

"I love you, forever and a day" he said "I love you too, forever and a day" I said before I got up and walked out of the bedroom.

THIRD PERSON'S POV.

Five walked over to his closet before opening it to only find a full row of Umbrella Academy uniforms.

"Ah, shit" he said before he grabbed one of them.

He changed into his blue school uniform. A dress shirt, tie, and vest underneath a blue blazer with matching schoolboy short, he had blue shorts and black knees length socks on while Y/n changed into a white shirt and blue shorts.

YOUR POV

When I enter Five's bedroom I notice that he was struggling with his tie which cause me to chucked before walking over to him.

"Let me" I said and he turned around so he was facing me.

"You can't fix your tie without me" I said as my hands went to his blazer's collar.

"Well, then it's good I have you to fix it for me, Love" he smirked before he kissed my cheek.

"You are unbelievable sometimes" I said as his hands went to his blazer's pockets.

"Yeah, but sometimes it's hard" you said before you adjusted the tie better and tighten it. You then folded the collar of his shirt back down and patted his shoulder which cause him to smile.

"I know, but you still love me" he said and I rolled my eyes "Yeah, but sometimes it's hard" I said before I adjusted the tie better and tighten it. I then folded the collar of his shirt back down and patted his shoulder which cause him to smile.

"There you go" I said before I kissed his cheek "What would I do without you?" he asked "Probably whining about not being able to tie a tie" I said with a smile and he rolled his eyes.

"How are you?" he asked "Fine, just a little annoying that you screw up the equations so we ended in our younger bodies" I said "Well, that was a mistake from me. I will take the blame" he said "Well, I'm blaming you" I said, a little annoying "I'm sorry" he said before he kissed my nose "Stop that" I said, a little annoying.

"Have I ever tell you that you're adorable when you're mad" he said "Yeah, you have" I nodded and he smiled before he wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me closer.

"I love you" he said "I love you too" I said.

He leaned  closer to me again but I pulled away "Nope, not now" I said "Why?" he asked "'Cause I'm still a little pissed at you for screwing this up so we end up in our younger bodies" I said "So, no kiss?" he asked "Nope" I shook my head "But I need a kiss" he said, making his begging face "Well, you should have thought about that before screwing this up" I said before I turned "Come on" I said and he smiled as we both walk out of the door.

After we have changed, Five showed me around The Academy and as the last part of the tour, Five lead me to the living room.

"This building is bigger than I expected" I said as I looked around the living room "Is this a house you want to live in?" Five asked "No. Too big" I said as I looked around.

When we were in the apocalypse, Five and I would sometimes talk about what kind of house we wanted to live in and what kind of life we wanted to live together when we got out of the apocalypse, it helped us keep our hopes up that we would get out.

Then our eyes landed at a portrait hanging on the wall above the fireplace. It was a portrait of Five. He was sitting on a chair, his hands was folded and he was looking straight ahead.

"It seems like your dad didn't forget you" I said "I think he made it to remind my siblings to not made the same mistake that I did" he said, looking at the portrait.

"But I'm glad that I made that mistake, it was the best decision I have ever made" he said "Why?" I asked "'Cause if I have not made that mistake, I would never have met you" he said and the two of us looked at each other with a smile.

Then we heard footsteps behind us and Vanya entered the living room.

"Nice to know Dad didn't forget me" Five said as he turned to look at Vanya "Read your book, by the way" he said "Yeah, we found it in a library that was still standing" I said.

Five then walked around Vanya with his hands in his pockets "I thought it was pretty good, all things considered" he said before stopping behind her causing her to turn around to look at him while he was looking up in the ceiling.

"Yeah, definitely ballsy, giving up the family secrets" Five said, looking at her, before taking some steps closer to her.

"Sure that went over well" he said "They hate me" Vanya said "Oh, there are worse things that can happen" Five said "You mean like what happened to Ben?" Vanya asked and I looked at Five.

I could see that he was trying to hold back his tears from losing a brother.

I remember him telling me that Ben was one of the siblings he was closest too.

"Was it bad?" he asked and Vanya nodded.

"Hey guys" a voice said and we turned around to see Luther holding the urn which contained Reginald's ashes.

"It's time for the funeral" Luther said as Diego, Allison and Klaus was standing behind him.

"Come on, Love" Five said to me as him and Vanya walked over to the others "Nah, not her" Luther said as he pointed on me and Five looked at him "Excuse me?" he asked "She is not going. This is a private funerals, for family only" Luther said "She is family. She is my wife, so she is going" Five said as he grits his teeth.

"It's okay, Honey" I said and Five looked at me "It's okay. I never really like funeral. You know how I feel about them, beside I don't even know Reginald, so I will just wait in the kitchen. Probably make some coffee for us" I said "Are you sure?" he asked "Yeah I'm sure" I said "I can also stay" he said "No. Even so he sound like the worst person ever, he was still your father" I said and Five sent me a look, like he was worried, not really sure if it was a good idea leaving me alone and I knew the reason why.

"It's okay. I don't think I will get one of my seizures here. Beside I have my walkman on me and I know you are not far away. I will be fine Fivey. I promise. Beside it's not like we will be apart for days" I said "Alright. It wouldn't be long" he said and kissed my cheek before him and his siblings walked outside to the courtyard.

THIRD PERSON'S POV.

"Woah, you look in love, Five" Diego told Five "That's because I am. A lot" Five said "So you love her?" Diego asked "More than anything. More than life itself" Five said "So you will die for her?" Diego asked "In a heartbeat. I will do anything to protect her. I don't know what I would do if I ever lost her" Five said.

"When one door close, another opens. Life is always full of possibilities"
