I opened my eyes to only find out that I was in different strange place. Everything was so bright white that you couldn't see anything.

Was I dead, is this what death feels like.

"Where the hell am I?" I asked as I looked around in confusing.

"Hey mom" a voice said and I turned around to see a young man with short dark brown hair and Y/e/c eyes.

"Milo" I said with tears in my eyes as I ran over to my son before hugging him.

"I'm so happy seeing you again" I said "I'm happy to see you too, mom" Milo said as he hugged me.

We pulled away to look at each other "Why are you here?" I asked "'Cause I want you to wake up" he said and I shook my head "No. I don't want to wake up, I wanna be with you" you said "I want to have you stay here with me too. But you can't, at least not now" he said "I want to stay" I said "If you stay here, you will leave the living world" he said "What if I want to leave it" I said as tears was falling down from my eyes.

"You can't stay here mom and you know it" he said as he wipe my tear away with his thumb "You have to go back. Dad needs you" he said "I need you too" I sob "I know. But we will see each other again, some day. Just not now. Dad needs you, don't let him lose you too. You and him have to stay together for as long as you guys can. You have to wake up and save the world, reunite with your family, let them meet dad, be with him, live that life you two always talked about when we were in the apocalypse" he said and I nodded "I will" I said as tears felled from my eyes.

Milo was right, I have to live.

"I miss you so much, sweetheart" I said "I miss you too mom, both you and dad, but I will always be with you guys. And one day we will be together again. But until then, live your life as long as you can" he said before he started to faded away.

"It's time for you to go back now" he said "But I want to spend more time with you" I said "I know, I want that too, but as long as you keep someone in your heart, they will always be with you" he said "I love you Sweetheart" I said as tears ran down from my eyes "I love you too mom" he said before he faded away.

Flashback start...

FIVE'S POV.

Grace rang the bell telling that dinner was ready. My siblings and I rushed out of our rooms and towards the stairs before walking into the living room and we all walked over to stand behind our seats while the gramophone was playing Herr Carlson speaking.

Then our dad Reginald walked into the living room. He walked over to his chair at the end of the table and sat down "Sit" he ordered and we all sat down before we started eating.

There was totally silence, since one of dad's rules was no talking during mealtimes.

Luther and Allison was smiling at each other across from the table.

Those two sending puppy eyes to each other, it was getting annoying and I wanted to throw up everytime they did that.

I hope I never get a relationship like that, if I ever get in a relationship I mean, I doubt it, who want to be with me. I couldn't see myself with anyone.

I know that I had a small crush on Vanya, since she was actually the only who to really see me but I doubt that she had a crush on me too.

Well, anyway, Klaus was sitting next to Allison, preparing a cigarette under the table.

Predictable.

Diego was sitting next to Luther twirled with his knife under the table.

Typical.

I was sitting next to Diego while Ben was sitting next to Klaus, reading a book, barely paying any attention to his food and Vanya was silently sitting at the end of the table eating her food.

I wasn't eating, I was staring at our dad with an angry look.

I looked at Vanya who shook her head, she knew what I was about to do, I want to time travel but dad told me no and that I wasn't ready.

Without breaking eye contact with our father, I grabbed my knife, holding it tight, before I stabbed the knife in the table making a loud clangs causing everyone to look up with horrified stare.

"Number Five?" Reginald asked "I have a question" I said bitterly as I let go of the knife that was still stuck to the table.

"Knowledge is an admirable goal, but you know the rules. No talking during mealtimes. You are interrupting Herr Carlson" he said.

Our father's unwillingness to listen or care made my blood boil and I push angrily my plate away "I want to time travel" I demanded and our father looked at me unalarmed at my outburst "No" he said.

I'm not taking no as an answer.

"But I'm ready. I've veen practicing my spatial jumps, just like you said" I said, getting up from my chair before I blink over next to our dad "See?" I said but Reginald didn't even look up from his plate, not amazed with my gift.

Asshole.

"A spatial jump is trivial when compared with the unknowns of time travel. One is like sliding along the ice, the other is akin to descending blindly into the depth of the freezing water and reappearing as an acorn" Reginald said, waving a hand.

Everyone went back to their meals and I looked angrily at Reginald before locking eyes with Vanya, who gave me a pleading look. She was hoping I would just sit down before the situation escalated.

But I as the stubborn kid I am, I refused to give up, even so I didn't understand what our dad said.

"Well, I don't get it" I said "Hence the reason you're not ready" Reginald replied.

I looked over at Vanya and she kinda knew what I was going to do, so she shook her head.

I looked back at our dad "I'm not afraid" I countered "Fear isn't the issue. The effects it might have on your body, even on your mind, are far too unpredictable. Now, I forbid you to talk about this anymore" Reginald said.

That's it. I'm done.

I shook my head as I took a deep breath before I turned around, running out of the room angry "Number Five! You haven't been excused!" Reginald shouted after me but I ran towards the front door.

Time to proof myself to dad.

I walked out the front door before walking down the street.

I clenched my fists before I started running, getting ready to use my powers.

Run boy run! The sun will be guiding you

I let out a grunt as I disappeared, before I appeared on the same street to see that the fall have turned to summer which cause me to smile.

I did it.

I smiled as I saw that I had teleported through time "Not ready, my ass" I said before I let out a grunt as I clenched my fists to get ready again.

But just as I blink again, I bumped my shoulder against someone before I appeared on the street again where I noticed it was snowing.

I looked around to see who it was that I have bumped into, but I couldn't see anyone, so I ignored it, before I got ready again.

Run boy run! Break out from society

I teleported again, and appeared the same place but I froze at the area around me.

Everything was destroyed, it look like something from a war movie.

My eyes widened when I saw that everything was destroyed.

What the hell.

Tomorrow is another day
And you won't have to hide away

I looked around confused, there was not a single or sound around me.

I turned around and started running the other way towards the Academy.

You'll be a man, boy!
But for now it's time to run, it's time to run!

But only to find it destroyed as well and I started panting as I was looking around while I was in shock over what has happened.

"VANYA. BEN! DAD" I shouted but no answer.

"ANYONE!" I shouted again as I looked around, but there was no one answer, not a single soul or a sound other than the sound from the flames that have appeared different place.

I then clenched my fists before I jolted my body forward as I tried to teleport again, the sound of whooshing and creaking was heard as blue light appeared around my hands, but nothing happen.

I then tried again but it didn't work "Come on!" I shouted as I kept trying.

But nothing happen "Shit" I said as I knew what it mean, it meant that I have used up my powers and therefore couldn't blink anymore and I didn't know when my powers would come back again.

I looked around the place with tears in my eyes as I felled down on my knees while looking at the Academy that was destroyed just like the rest of everything around me.

I have just lost everything, my home, my family, my best friends, everything. I had nothing left.

I had sitting on the ground hugging my knees for hours while wondering how this has happen.

Then I heard someone shouting out some names which cause me to look up before I got up.

Have I already start hearing things.

But then I heard the voice again and it sounded like a girl.

I decided to check it out just to be sure.

It didn't take long before I spotted a figure farther ahead, as far as I could see, it was a girl. She had Y/h/c hair and she look like she was around my age.

Maybe she knows what happen here.

I took a step closer but then she turned around and spotted me. As I took another step forwards, she took a step back before she turned around and ran to hide inside tall building that was in ruins.

I continued walking towards that building, my brows furrowed deeply, unsure if the yelling I had just heard and the figure I just saw was real or part of a hallucination.

I mean it could be my mind messing with me, but I have only being here for a few hours, and it don't go that fast for your mind to mess with you.

I walked into the building before looking around and I looked down to the right to see a girl with Y/h/c hair and Y/e/c eyes looking right at mes, he was scared and confused, I could see that.

But before I could do anything, she swung her arm at me, hitting me in the face with the brick which cause me to let out a grunt as I fell to the ground.

That fucking hurt.

I could hear her drop the brick before she started running.

"WHAT THE FUCK" I shouting angry as I could feel some drop of blood running down from my eyebrow.

She didn't hit me that hard, but it still hurt, I would say that I was a warning punch.

I was actually thinking letting her run, but she might be the only one here, so I might as well try to talk to her, even if I have to talk in her language.

I hope I'm not gonna regret this.

Flashback ends...

I have being awake all night and I was sitting by the bed, holding my wife's hand.

I had my head laying on the bed with my eyes closed.

I still had Y/n's headphones on and was listening to the music on her walkman.

Over our travel through time and space together, Y/n had transfer more music to her walkman, so everytime there was a sound she like. She transferred it to her walkman. So it was filled with all her favorite songs. Of course she also transferred some of my favorite songs to the walkman and also transferred the songs we love to listen together.

We have even made a playlist together that we would sometimes listening on the walkman together.

I smiled as I listen to the song name 'Until i found you' that was playing on the walkman.

YOUR POV.

I opened my eyes and they moved around to see where I was and I could recognize that I was in Five's old bedroom.

I turned my head to see Five with his head on the bed, he had her headphones on while he was holding my hand.

"Please don't say that you have been here all night?" I asked as I squeezed his hand a little bit which cause Five to lift his head and he breath out in relief when he saw me looking at him.

"Hey" I said with a smile "You are awake" he said with a smile and he put the headphones and walkman back on the night table before he sat down by the edge of the bed.

"Thank God" he said before he pressed his lips against mine.

I closed my eyes as I pressed my lips against his while I had my right hand on his left cheek.

We pulled away before resting our foreheads against each other "I thought I lost you" he said in relief "You won't get rid of me so easily" I said and he smiled as he pulled away.

FIVE'S POV.

Small tears of joy could be seen in my eyes, I was happy and relief over that my wife was okay.

I don't know what I would do if I lost her.

"Don't ever do something like that again. If you are hurt you shall tell me" I said "I was nervous over that you would forget about the apocalypse and worry about me" she said "Of course I would worry about you. You are my wife and you will always be my first priority and nothing will ever change that" I said before I stroke my right hand down her left cheek "I thought I lost you and I don't know what I would do without you. If you die I wouldn't be able to live with myself. I don't know what I would do if--" "Hey" she said as she put her left hand to my right cheek "I'm okay and I'm sorry for not telling you. Next time I promise I will tell you" she said and I smiled.

"How are you feeling?" I asked "I'm feeling better" she said "Good" I said before I pressed my lips against hers.

Y/n lifted her right hand before putting it on my left cheek as we sunk deeper into the kiss.

She moved her hands down to my blazer before she slowly started to take it off which cause me to pull away.

I knew what she wanted to do.

"As much as I would love to do this. You just got stitches and I'm scared that they will open up if we do this" I said and she lowered her hands "But as soon as they are gone, we can do a lot of that" I said and she smiled.

"So what now?" she asked "Well, I'm not leaving your side until your body is 100% recovered. So I think that we could just lay in bed, cuddling" I said "What about the end of the world?" she asked "Diego and Allison will handle it. We still have a little time, beside you are more important than anything else in the whole world, even an apocalypse" I said and she smiled.

"I would love to cuddle with you, Fivey. But we have a world to save" she said before she began sitting up "No, no. Your body is not recovered" I said "I don't care" she said and let out a grunt in pain "Love, stop" I said as I tried to get her to lay back down but I couldn't.

"No. We only have two days left" she said "I know, but right now, you need to lay down or the stitches will open op. Grace said you need rest" I said "I can rest when we have saved the world and you are not gonna stop me, Five" she said "Yes I can" I said before I grabbed her wrist and shoved her back causing her back to hit the bed again.

We looked at each other as I had my hands on her wrists, holding a tight grip while my legs was on each side of her waist so her lower body was between my legs.

"Listen, I want to save the world too. But you need to rest. Grace told me you were close in dying. I have to protect the one thing that I can't live without. That's you" I said and her eyes widened "We will stop the apocalypse and save the world. You will see your family again, I promise. But if you start walking around now, your stitches will open up. Beside its still dark outside. So relax. Just for a few hours. Okay?" I said as we stared into each other's eyes.

"Okay" she said with a nod "So if I let you go, you are not gonna try to get up?" I asked and she shook her head "No" she said and I nodded "Good" I said before I let go of her and removed my legs before sitting next to her again.

"Well, I can't and wouldn't rest until you lay down next to me" she said "Well, that was what I had in mind. Cause I have being up all night" I said "Then I'm not the one that need rest" she said "No" I said as I shook my head "We can listen to our playlist on your walkman together while we are cuddling" I suggested and she smiled "Like we always use to do right before we fall asleep" she said and I nodded.

I love those times where we would cuddled in bed and listen to our playlist together. We did that every evening after a long day at work in The Commission.

"Do you have the EarPods?" I asked and she nodded "They are in my inner pocket" she said and I got up before I walked over to her shirt that was hanging over a chair.

I dug my hand into her inner pocket before I pulled out some white EarPods that was connected to a white wire.

I then pulled the headphones out of the walkman before I put the EarPods' wire in the walkman.

I then moved over to the other side of the bed before I lay down next to Y/n, pulling the sheet over me too.

We moved closer to each other as I gave her one of the EarPods and she put it in her left ear as I put the other in my right ear.

I lay down on my left side while Y/n lay down on her right side so we were facing each other.

I pressed play on the walkman and it started playing the song called 'All of me' by John Legend.

I lifted my right hand before I stroke it down Y/n's left cheek as we smiled to each other.

God, I love her, I didn't even think it was possible loving someone this much.

Y/n and Five felt whole when they could feel each other's touch. They felt they could be themself and let out their pain, sadness and feelings when they were with each other.

He wrapped his right arm around her before he pulled her closer so her face was pressed against his chest.

Cards on the table, we're both showing hearts

Y/n took a deep breath as she closed her eyes.

She could feel his calming heartbeat in her ear as it was pressing against his chest, making her feel a little better by just hearing it.

Y/n felt safe in her husband's arms.

She lifted her head so she was looking at Five "I love every single thing about you, your smile, your eyes, your personality, your body, your sense of humor, your perfect imperfections, everything. You mean the world to me and I don't want this beautiful story of ours to ever end" she said "It wouldn't end. I promise. We will stop this and then you are gonna be reunited with your family and I can meet them and then we can live a wonderful life together without having to worry about the apocalypse" he said as he storke his hand down her cheek.

Every moment I spend with you is a moment I cherish, and I cannot imagine my life without you in it" he said "Every day feel like a new adventure waiting to be discovered because when I look at you, I feel home. I never knew true love could feel so magical until the day you walked into my life" she said before they pressed their lips against each other.

They pulled away and she pressed her face against his chest while he wrapped his arms tighter around her before closing his eyes.

As the two was just laying in the bed with their bodies pressed against each other, they could feel themself relaxing.

Five and Y/n couldn't see themself with anyone else than each other.

Both Y/n and Five need each other's protection, support, caring, strength and love. Only then the two succeed to get through everything as long as they did it together.

Flashback start....

THIRD PERSON'S POV.

Five and Y/n was both 26 years old and they were sitting by the fire in the apocalypse.

They have both realized that they had feelings for each other a year ago and even so they have tried their best to ignored those feelings, they just grow stronger and they have falling in love with each other.

"So" Five said as he took a deep breath before he sat down next to Y/n.

Today was the day that Five was gonna tell Y/n that he had feelings for her.

But how in hell does he start?

"Is there something wrong?" Y/n asked as she notice that he look a bit nervous "Did you know that wolves has 42 teeth and they begin mating when they are 2 to 3 years old, sometimes establishing lifelong mates. Gray wolf mate for life?" he asked and she raised a brow in confusing.

"Why would he talk about wolves?" Y/n asked inside her head.

You leapt from crumbling bridges

"Yeah, I knew that and their average travel speed is 5 miles per hour" she said and he nodded "Yeah and they can sprint 36 to 38 miles per hour for short distances" he said "A pack of wolves can range from 2 to over 30 wolves. On average they run in packs between 5 and 8 wolves" she said "Yeah, and they can hear up to six miles away in the forest" he said "Wolves can also swim up to 8 miles and their howl can be heard up to 10 km away" she said.

"Yeah and wolf groups, or packs, usually include dominant male and female parents (breeding pair), their offspring, and other non-breeding adults" he said "And in the pack, only the alpha pair has sexual rights during breeding and if any other in the pack do it, they are kicked out" she said "Yeah and in some larger packs, more than one adult female may breed and produce pups. Wolves usually rear their pups in dens for the first six weeks" he said "Yeah and the dens are often used year after year, but wolves may also dig new dens or use some other type of shelter, such as a cave and their pups are born deaf and blind with bright blue eyes" she said "Yeah" he said with a nod.

"Why are you talking about wolves?" she asked "Cause wolves is one of your favorite animals" he said "And?" she asked and Five took a deep breath.

"Listen Y/n/n, there is something I need to tell you" Five said before he scratch the back of his head nervously "I have no idea how to tell you this. I don't know what it's about me" he said.

She smiled as Five was rambling about random things.

"Do I make you nervous, Hargreeves?" she asked and he scoffed "As if Russell" he smiled

"I don't know how to--" but he was cut off when she put a finger under his chin before she turned his head so he was looking at her "Just shut up" she said.

He smiled before they both leaned closer and they both closed their eyes as they connected their lips.

As their lips touch it felt like the world around was blurry out and was in slow motion.

While they were kissing, some shooting stars was flying across the clear night sky.

The kiss felt warm, safe and wonderful. Like it was right.

The two smiled at the kiss. They both felt like the missing piece of puzzle was finally placed. They felt peace with each other.

The kiss were full of emotions and Five was so happy that he was able to save Y/n from her demons.

But I don't know much in being in a relationship" she said "Either do I" he said before he looked at her "Maybe we can help each other find out what it means to be in love with someone" he said and she looked at him "We can find it out together" he said and she smiled "I'm willing to try if you are" he said.

"Five, I'm like a grenade. One day my heart will give up and I don't want to hurt you" she said "I don't care. Y/n I really want this. And it's not because you are the only other person alive. It's because I'm in love with you and I still want to be with you when we get out of here" he said and she looked down.

"Too much is wrong with me, that's the problems isn't it, too much is wrong with me and you can't do anything about that. You can't change it, you can't fix me" she said "I don't want to fix you, I want to be with you, cause I see the person you really are and I don't care about who you were or who you are now and I don't care about what you have done, I fell in love with you because I saw who you really are. I fell in love with you so fast because you make me feel so safe in a way that I have never felt around anyone" he said and she let out a sigh.

"You may think you are too damaged and too broken to ever allow yourself to be happy, but you can choose differently Y/n, you can choose to love me, as much as I love you, that should not be up to anyone else" he said and her eyes widened.

"It feel like we know each other our whole life. I have never connected with anyone the way I have with you, when I look into your eyes that's when I feel it. That sudden sense of hope, you make things okay, no one else can do that for me, you're special" he said "I feel the same way but being with me is not going to be easy" she said "I know that being with you is not going to be easy, it's going to be really hard, but I don't care cause we're going have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want to be with you. I want all of you, forever, you and me, every day" he said.

"I want you to know I see you. I can see the pain written all over your face because I know the look of someone trying so hard to pretend like they're alright when they're crumbling on the inside. "I gotta admit that every since I met you. I felt my heart be strong again. I think you are the medicine that my heart need" she  said "So what do you say?" he asked.

"I really want to be in a relationship with you" he said "Five I don't know much in being in a relationship" she said "Either do I" he said before he looked at her.

"Maybe we can help each other find out what it means to be in love with someone" she looked at him "So let's find it out together" he said and she smiled "I'm willing to try if you are" he said.

She wanted to a love like that, she really did. She was just scared. She was scared of the heartbreak and the pain, being hurt.

"So what do you say? It's okay if you don't want to be with me, and you can dump my ass as soon as we are out of here, but no matter what you decides I'm not going to leave you" he said.

She smiled before nodding "So....?" he asked "I'm willing to give it a chance" she said and he smiled before he pulled her into a long warm hug "Don't break my heart" she said "No, never. I promise" he said and she smiled as they hugged tighter.

"I promise you, Y/n/n, I will not let anything happen to you and I promise to get us out of here, save our family and stop the apocalypse" he said and she smiled.

"Who would have thought that it took an apocalypse for us to meet" he said and she smiled before they both rested their foreheads against each other.

The two pulled away before looking at each other.

Five's face light up as he stared into her beautiful gentle Y/e/c eyes.

"So what it bad?" he asked as he scratched the back of his head embarrassed 

"It was not bad, it was actually amazing" she said and he looked at her "You think?" he asked and she nodded.

"Do you want to kiss again?" he asked and she chuckled while smiling before nodding.

He smiled before they both leaned their faces closer, connection their lips again.

Y/n was his sun, she was the only one who could turn his dark days into bright again.

She was his hope and happiness. He needs her, she was keeping his sanity and she was giving him strength.

He wanted to be with her and she wanted to be with him. They both want to hold each other's hands to show that they are never leaving each other, cause they won't.

Y/n was the person who made him and his heart smile. She was the air that he breath.

She have unfroze his cold heart.

She was the first to actually see through him and how he really felt and he did the same for her.

She was the only person he ever opened up to. He was so soft deep down. He cared so much and she was the only one who ever saw that side of him, even so he couldn't see it in himself. She made him feel less cold and alone and he did the same for her

Her face light up as she stared into Five's beautiful green warm eyes.

Everytime he looked at her with those eyes, she felt the world spinning and she felt a warm feeling through her body.

She didn't see a stubborn irresponsible person, she saw a broken but handsome, kind and soft guy that need to feel loved and that he is enough.

She couldn't explain it, but Five had something, something no one else had.

He made her feel less alone and broken. He have brought hope and light back to her.

She actually never thought an apocalypse have to happen to her to meet the one. For her to find someone who made her feel this wonderful feeling.

Of course both Y/n and Five wish they have met before, but they both think that the only good thing about the apocalypse is that it brought them together.

Both Y/n and Five was happy, that they were not alone, that they had each other by their side and no matter what the world would throw at them, they will find a way to overcome it as long as they got through the things together.
