*Aura's POV*
When I wake up, I'm on my own berth. How did I get here? I was in Ratchet's room... He must have carried me... I then remember what I told him last night. I finally admitted my feelings for him... I open the door, looking left then right and dart down the hall toward the main room.

I stop just outside and peek into the room. Ratchet is at his usual place by the computer and Arcee and Nebula are closer to me. I dart into the room quickly, grab both their wrists and drag them out of the room.

They both let out startled yelps but soon follow me, knowing I wanted to talk to them... We go to the back of base. The exact same place where I kissed Ratchet.

"So, do you want to explain to us why you just dragged us to the back of base?", Arcee asks.

"Um... I may or may not have-", I mumble the last part.

"What?", Nebula asks confused.

"I told-", again mumbling the last part.

"You gotta speak up", Nebula says.

"I told Ratchet I love him last night", I shout; it echoes down the hall. I freeze when I hear it echoing. Arcee smirks.

"That's probably going to end up in the main room", she says.

I blush and hide my face to the best of my ability. Just then, an echo comes back. Except it wasn't echo... Ratchet was standing at the end of the hall.

"And I responded accordingly but you had fallen asleep so you did not hear me", he says. I blush and hide my face in my servos.

I peek at Arcee and Nebula and they're smirking. I realize what they're about to do.

"Don't you guys dare-", they cut me off. "We're just going to leave you guys now."

I blush and hide my face in my servos again as Ratchet comes closer. He pulls my servos away from my face and I look away from him.

"Aura", he says softly. I look at him and he has a smile on his face. I blush and he takes hold of my servos, intertwining our digits, causing me to blush even more.

"You know you're beautiful right?", he asks me. I blush and look away from him, not able to form words currently.

"You are so beautiful, Aura, but that's not the reason why I love you. I love you because you are sweet, strong, courageous, willing to learn and put an effort into it. I starting liking you a long time ago and it hurt when you were meeting with Megatron and then you joined the Decepticons. I was angry at Optimus for pushing you away because I liked you. And then you joined us again and you were broken. So I did everything in my power to help you because I was- and still am- in love you."

I smile at his words and finally found words of my own.

"Thank you Ratchet. I haven't liked you as long as you have me but you helped me a lot. I couldn't help but grow feelings for you. You've taught me everything I know, you've helped me far more than you can imagine.. You helped heal my broken heart, you've helped me see that I can be happy as long as I have my friends and family with me. You've taught me that even if we fight, we can always make it up and it won't change how we feel about one another.  I love you so much that I can't imagine a life without you and I never want to leave your side. I've been in love with you for a long time now and I've only just barely gotten to admitting it", I say with a loving smile.

He smiles back at me before leaning down and kissing me. I gasp in surprise before kissing back. The only reason why we stop kissing is because we hear a bunch voices saying "aww".

I look over towards the end of the hall and see the humans, Arcee and Nebula, and Bumblebee. Miko has a camera out.

"Nebula!", I shout. "Arcee! We were having a private conversation." I playfully glare at them.

"But you guys just admitted your love for each and that's adorable", Miko says. I blush and Ratchet grabs a hold of my servo. I hadn't even realized that he had let go of either of my servos.

Everyone smiles at the cute sight before heading back to the main room. Optimus is there with Bulkhead and they were both confused as to why everyone was coming from the back of base.

Then he saw mine and Ratchet's intertwined digits. He smiles at both of us and when everyone else isn't looking. He smirks in a teasing way. I blush while Ratchet laughs.

"Optimus!! Aura and Ratchet confessed their love for each other!!", Miko exclaims. "I even got a video!! Do you want to see it?"

Ratchet and I glance at each other, then at Optimus, then at Miko, before back at each other. I shrug and Ratchet just chuckles.

"Sure", Optimus says. I smile softly as he smiles while watching the video.

He looks over at me when the video is finished and says, "Well, it looks like you got the happy ever after your carrier hoped for you after all."

"Only partly. I may have Ratchet but I wish this war would be over. That's when I'll have my happily ever after."

Suddenly a call comes in. We're confused and then Optimus opens it to reveal Megatron. He has a tired look is his blue? optics.

"Optimus, I have been a fool... this war has been going on for far too long. I had a certain femme point that out to me a while ago but I am only just listening to her words. She was a beautiful and bright femme and I am sorry to say that I broke her spark. I can only hope that she has found happiness with you."

I realize he was talking about me. I think back to my time on the warship. Just before he left to talk to Unicron I yelled at him and told him that.

"I forgive you, Megatron", I speak up, causing everyone to look at me. "Partially."

Megatron chuckles sadly.

"I can't expect those words to be true but I am truly am sorry, Aura. You were the best thing that ever happened to me. And you were right. I shouldn't keep this war going just because I'm jealous Optimus was made a Prime and not me. That was such a stupid reason", he mutters the last part to himself. Everyone is looking between him and me.

Optimus spoke up. "We will need to discuss this further."

Megatron agrees and they came up with a place to meet for discussing the end of the war. Megatron was about to hang up but before he could, I spoke up.

"Wait!", I shout, causing everyone to look at me. "Is Knockout and Breakdown there? I would like to talk to them."

"Of course", he says. Soon, Knockout shows up and he grins when he sees me.

Everyone else left the room to give us a little privacy.

"Hey, Knocks", I say with a grin. "How are you and Breakdown holding up?"

I was instantly worried when Knockout's face fell.

"Not so well, actually", he whispers. I searched his optics but couldn't see anything to give away what happened.

"What happened?", I ask.

"Airachnid. About a week ago, Dreadwing and Breakdown were given orders to kill her but pretend they were just scouting for energon. She caught on to the plan pretty quickly. She taunted Breakdown, causing him to chase after her, luring him away from Dreadwing, who was trapped against a tree with some of her webs. We only found Breakdowns remains", Knockout said bitterly before breaking down. "She murdered my best friend, my brother!" He was crying now and I could feel tears slipping down my face.

"Knockout, meet me at these coordinates", I say before listing off a bunch of numbers. I end the call and find Optimus.

He sees my tears and is instantly worried.

"I need to comfort Knockout. He recently lost his partner, Breakdown and he was Knockout's best friend, his brother", I say before I start crying. "And I need comfort from him. He was like a brother to me too. He reminded me so much of Cliffjumper, just almost constantly joking around when he isn't working."

Optimus sighs. "Go. I will tell Ratchet where you are so he doesn't worry."

"Thanks Papa", I say, giving him a hug before going back to the main room and opening a ground bridge to the coordinates I supplied Knockout.

I walk out to the clearing I used to spend a lot of nights at, the one I met Megatron at.

Knockout was already there and I just engulfed him in a hug. He started crying again, and so did I.

"Why did he go? He shouldn't have. He should've known better", he whispers.

"Knockout. There's this song I know that I think you would relate to. Would you like me to sing it?", I whisper.

He nods but before I could start singing, I felt a presence. I looked behind Knockout and saw Breakdown, or at least his spirit.

"Actually Knockout, just sing what comes to mind. I get the feeling that when you can't figure out what words to sing, someone else will sing them for you", I whisper. He looks confused but I motion for him to do it. He sighs but starts singing.

Knockout started out with this:

"Tried to walk together
But the night was growing dark
Thought you were beside me
But I reached and you were gone."

He was confused as to what next but the Breakdown started singing, startling Knockout. Knockout looked around and when he saw Breakdown his optics filled with tears.

Breakdown sang this:

"Sometimes I hear you calling
From some lost and distant shore
I hear you crying softly
For the way it was before."

They then switched off singing every line.

Knockout: "Where are you now?"
Breakdown: "Are you lost?"
Knockout: "Will I find you again?"
Breakdown: "Are you alone?"
Knockout: "Are you afraid?"
Breakdown: "Are you searching for me?"

Then it was just Knockout for a while.

"Why did you go?
I had to stay
Now I'm reaching for you
Will you wait, will you wait?
Will I see you again?"

"You took it with you when you left
These scars are just a trace
Now it wanders lost and wounded
This heart that I misplaced."

I could see that struck Knockout to the core. He put his entire heart into their brotherly relationship, it was pretty much all he had on the warship. They then do the switching off thing again.

Knockout: "Where are you now?"
Breakdown: "Are you lost?"
Knockout: "Will I find you again?"
Breakdown: "Are you alone?"
Knockout: "Are you afraid?"
Breakdown: "Are you searching for me?"

The last bit was just Knockout.

"Why did you go?
I had to stay
Now I'm reaching for you
Will you wait, will you wait?
Will I see you again?"

He started to cry and Breakdown smiled at me before hugging Knockout. "You're the best brother I could ever have, Knockout. Thanks for being there for me. And I will wait for you in the allspark forever as you are my brother and I can't wait to see you again."

This caused Knockout to cry even more but he eventually pulled himself together enough to say, "I love you, brother."

"I love you, too", Breakdown says with a big smile. "Now, I need to get to the other reason why I came."

"Aura. Sister. You are in danger. It's not Megatron, it's something much worse. The spider will stop at nothing to get what she wants. She has been manipulating Megatron. She is biding her time but then she will strike and when she does, it will be hard. You have time to be prepared before she strikes so I suggest preparing as soon as possible. Especially when it comes to ending the war with Megatron because there is a war brewing between everyone and Airachnid", Breakdown says.

"But she has no army", I protest. "How can she expect to win?"

"She is an insect. The bugs who currently follow Megatron will stray from his path and follow Airachnid."

Breakdown glances behind him.

"I am running out of time to be here. You must warn everyone", he says as he starts to fade. I watch him fade away, millions of questions running through my head but I knew none of them were going to get answers.

"Ratchet, I need a bridge back."
