Neil

Tension started growing inside me, still I didn't receive a single call from Avni yet. I realised it more when my eyes darted over the clock, it showed 12 in the night. And now pushing away all my thoughts I grabbed the pH and tried to reach Raj Sir.
Within a second attempt back to back he finally answered my call and I got informed that, Avni had just left with Dd in his car.

Immediately saying him bye I hung up and my next call was for Dd. Putting the speaker on talking to him I slipped into my grey hoody hurriedly and ended the call once he mentioned me their location. Taking my car keys off the key rack I headed to downstairs locking the main door behind. As fast as possible I could I moved towards the car parked area down my housing compound.

Within half an hour more drive I spotted the car my mind was on. And as soon as DD saw my car nearer his he stopped the engine down across the right side of the road opposite my direction. As I had instructed him to do so.

I know, they had dropped Avni, at her place many times before. But as obvious as it is, everything has changed the day I have confessed my feelings to her and she reciprocated me the same.
She is my girlfriend now I can't take risk regarding anything related to her safety.
I will always be there at her service whenever she will need me.

I warily approached to their car shoving out of mine, across the road that wasn't too broad. I crouched to the driver side.
It has given me zero trouble to reach Dd's car faster on the other side of the route.
I saw three boys and two girls inside. Including sleeping Avni on the back seat in the middle of a boy on her right side and a girl on her left seat. Dd on the driver seat beside another guy. All those guys are from the same crew we work.

It seems Avni is in deep slumber leaning her head uncomfortably against the headrest.

I saw few pairs of furrowed, bewildered gaze over me when I asked that girl to come out of the car so that I could reach my girl. She is from the same team with Dd. I know her but at the moment my brain failed to access her name. Though I least interested mulling over this right now.

That girl stepped out reluctantly down her seat not having any idea why they were called and stopped in the middle of the road to their way back home in this hour.
I had moved straight over her and pulled Avni in my arms unless I immediately paused by Dd's words addressing to me "Neil Sir Avni is our responsibility...we will drop her home...where are you taking her!!" I shot my eyes straight at him and within a second next my reply made them all almost jumped on their seat.

"She is my girl...I'm taking to her, the place she belongs to" while replying to them my eyes was on Avni who stirred twice in her sleep. Instantly theirs all head snapped matching the same timing at me in confusion or surprised whatever they say. It was my least concern at that moment.
I replied in a tone hardly someone would dare to speak further if they aren't much careless towards themselves.

Avoiding to send them another single glance I scooped her in my arms and walked towards my car. I can feel how surprised as well as shocked they got at my confession, including that girl behind. I saw her jaw dropped staring at me and at sleeping Avni in my arms few times blinking them, as if she has seen a ghost or any unbelievable show just now.

On the way back my car settling Avni inside beside the driver seat, I heard there behind across the road Dd revved the engine. That made me straightened my back turning towards them.
I jogged towards their car keeping Avni comfortably there on the seat beside me locking the door of her side.

"Hey you can come with me I'll drop you home" I roamed my eyes at the boys bending to their car window and then landed my eyes at the girl offering her a ride home.

These days I can't trust a single guy when it comes to a girl's safety. It doesn't mean I believe all boys are least trust worthy ,Traitors or any such words may describe well those nasty kind of mentally sick people. Its nothing like that if you ask me. Actually I thought she must be more comfortable sharing the ride with Avni.
They are all nice guy I know all of them. But still I can't take any risk when my girl have me now in her life to take care of her. None could stop let me not to be sure all the time of my girl's security and safety.

"Thank you Neil sir for your concern. Actually we lives more or less in same area.we travel all together more often so it's absolutely fine with me..
Only Avni live away us" that girl near about Avni's age informed with a appreciating smile on her lips.

"Okay as you say..." I gave a tight smile not before giving her my number to let me inform once she reach safely.
That held her a smile genuinely this time through the car window sitting inside.

Not wasting a single second more there I walked across the road and slipped inside my car, hurriedly. Buckling my seat belt and Avni's next I gave a concerned glance at my girl. Avni still in her sleep leaning on the seat, her head slightly bending to her right side,that towards me. In a gentle smiled I let out a long sigh. And immediately brought my eyes ahead at the road and grumbled my car engine.

"And now my bachha sleeping peacefully in my arms...such a kumbhakaran my girl is" Neil chuckled staring at the sleeping Avni. Her face closer to him on the same pillow he was sleeping.

Despite the fact that she was in her sleep other than being in alcohol or some other drugs as such, she only shifted few times on his car last night travelling back home, even didn't she flinched for a change in her position sleeping so deeply there inside his car.

And when he finally laid beside her settling Avni comfortably on her side in bed, she landed her left leg on his uper thigh stiffening him and pulled him closer by his torso then wrapped her left arm around his neck leaving him to gasp several times repeatedly by her warm breath all over his neck and ears. Avni mumbled abruptly something in her sleep that partly cleared to Neil was
"I won't talk to him" saying this Avni rubbed her nose once on his shoulder. She might have habbit talking while sleeping. Neil let out another chuckle looking at her angry pout, that was vanished replacing the low snores in between her peaceful gentle breathing.

This made Neil looked at her narrowing his eyes slightly and his lips formed a soft grin before wrapping his one arm around her waist and another rested on his own chest, he dozed off.

It's 7:30 in the Morning

"Good morning" Neil wished in a bright smile watching Avni squinted her eyes opening them by the sunlight coming through the glass window facing opposite their bed.

Catching the eye of his sight Avni jolted being perplexed by the whole surrounding. She snapped her eyes around the room once and shot her shocked gaze back at Neil who was seen propped his head upward by the support of his elbow on the pillow beneath his shoulder, his eyes straight at Avni. An amused smirk followed by his playful gaze waited for her to utter something.

"How did I...."Avni finally spoke, her voice was raspy. She creased her forehead deeper confusingly at Neil and left her sentence incomplete.

"Bachha I have told you many times before, don't test my patience!" in a second next he caged Avni in between his firmed arms causing her to swallow her dried up throat harder seeing him in a decent inch away gaping at her lips and then back to her eyes. His chest rising up and down as well accompanied by his each flexing upper body muscles.

Neil is doing nothing instead invading her personal space. As per as Avni's words, it takes her mind to a creepy zone in diverting the world around.

For few more seconds she got zoned out by his body sent inside her nostril, it clouded her every nerves at the same time blocked her thinking capacity. And his those dangerous toxic orbs that successfully keeps over powering his females fan's mind, nothing less doing to Avni. In that case Avni wasn't at all different than those crazy crushed girls watch him on screen, although nothing has changed being his girlfriend still.

Her heart beat rose faster by each passing second lying beneath him. But as you know it wasn't an easy task for Avni to regain herself away having not so his decent gaze on her since last how many seconds, or if minutes she didn't count. She pushed him to plopped on his back with a slight thud another side of the mattress.
Neil startled by her words of action next that she stated in much worked up tone before she got off his bed.

"Don't talk to me" she pulled her top down her waist to cover it up decently that was messed up slightly lifted being lying on the mattress throughout the night.

"Now what did I do" he frowned innocently looking at her he slowly sat up on his bed.

There wasn't any reply came from her. Avni walked silently towards the attached bathroom running fingers in her hair untangling some knots that has occurred in it.

Neil scratches his hair sitting there in confusion for few seconds batting his creased eyelashes at the closed bathroom door Avni got inside it. And then immediately got off his bed, flung his pillow aside, walked out the room with a unpleasing look .

"You really won't talk to me" He asked in a mulled tone placing the cup of tea on the table Avni supposed to come and take her seat by then. But she moved to the other side of the hall in search of a socket to put her ph for charging, that got turned off last night mostly probably.

"Babyyyyy...." he trailed off in a creamy tone while Avni wasn't paying any attention towards him. She was busy pushing the charger into the socket plugging it on. Her face was straight.

"Why this is bothering you so much when you yourself are the path leader!!" She scoffed breaking her silence.

"Hein me!!!" His gaze followed her every moves as she came forward and stood opposite side, facing him. She leaned forward slightly at the edge of the dinning table as if she is waiting for his reply eagerly.

"How!!" he eyes questionably rested on her, jested.

"Yeh acting and all, apne director ko dikhana jakey" saying this she pulled out a chair and took her seat heaving a sigh of shrugging Neil's glances on her.

"That's what I'm doing" he smirked. And this made Avni rose her eyes slightly.

"What does that mean!!" she asked snapping her brows together showing all her agitation.

"In that case you are also a director!! Isn't you!!" He leaned supporting his elbow on a chair in front. His eyes crinkled displaying more amusement in them.

"Stop being smart..that's not at all you are" Avni answered him petulantly, brought back her gaze down and extended her arm taking the cup in her hand.

"Humm I know but Pooja says I'm too smart" Neil nodded in a proud tone pushing the button more to see her reactions.

"Ooh really!!" Somehow gulping the liquid Avni mocked.

"Then why don't you date her instead someone else... obviously if you have planned to someday soon" she blurted out and ended her statement in a weird smile.

"Okay that's enough" Neil raised his hands up in surrender. As always being impatient in this relationship thing,especially when for the first time he is so much into this by his entire soul and heart, Neil decided to put down the topic instead dragging it unnecessarily.

"Now Tell me why you didn't receive my calls last night" next moment pulling that chair he leaned forward sitting on it. His both hands rested interlinked around his cup of hot green tea on the table.

"No it's not" Avni threw her stern look matching his calmed one across.

"Avni I said it is over" now his voice took a switch getting stern more than her.

"Over what! are you talking about us!!" her eyes fluttered a bit in nervous under his gape but she gathered herself immediately.

"Where the hell are you pushing the topic instead answering me!!" his voice scowled, reprimand her.

"I'm not bound to answerable the person when he is the reason behind everything I have done" she stated back in a serious tone.

"Are you talking about me" he scooted a brow slightly upward leaning a bit closer to Avni sitting across her. His voice softened but still stern.

"Nope I'm talking to my shadow" Avni replied through her gritted teeth and her eyes hardened at him.

"Them let me clarify you.. I was mad at you" he let out a sigh and pushed himself backward leaning against the chair he racked his hand over his hair once and then pulled his hand down crossing both arms over his chest.

"For what reason" Avni asked, her eyes waited for his reply next.

"Your those words made me mad, that's why I had become silent. Because I didn't want to burst my not so overwhelming words on you when I knew very well we won't end up nice" his eyes dropped while talking in between, and landed back on her before he ended.

"Hummm" Avni exhaled averting her gaze down she took another sip from her tea.

"Even I also wanted to say you sorry but then you did something..." Avni paused herself speaking further, She pulled her eyes back at him before rolling it down on the table top shyly.

"Something..." His eyes furrowed by this unexpected reply of her.

"Nothing" Avni avoided meeting Neil's curious gaze over her.

"Nope tell me... I did something what!!" Neil insisted playing around.

"I told you already you did nothing" this time her expression changed into something different. Avni bit her lips stopping her cheeks not to get heated up. whereas she knows she is a total failure already.

"I shouldn't have made you jealous right" Neil stated smirking at Avni and instantly her unstable gaze landed on him straight next second.

"Yes right" by his words her blush replaced into anger that started to growing inside Avni increasing her breaths.

"Right!?" Her confession took him by surprise for the second time in a day. That he haven't expected such an surrendered gestured from Avni so early.
He thought she would say him, she wasn't jealous and he would get more chances to tease her whole day. But nothing happened as per as his plan was.

"Yes" her jaws hardened in admission.

"Why did you do that" her scornful voice disappeared within a minute, instead she made an innocent tone of allegation a girl could have ever confronted her boyfriend in such an adorable manner. when her Man himself admitting he has done something purposely to make her jealous.

"Okay I'm sorry" Neil felt enamoured at her innocence.

"Then I'm also sorry too" she pouted adorably taking glances of him in a cutest way.

"Come here" Neil pushed his chair backward slightly being seated on it. He tried to reach over her before he spread his arms motioning Avni to come closer him.

"I missed you" Avni already knew what for Neil calling her closer to him. As correct as she was Neil made Avni sit on his lap and as soon as she sat there she wrapped her both arms around his neck and rested her head on the spot scooting closer to him.

"How?By not receiving my calls and texts!!" He let out a chuckle stroking his fingers on her hair gently.

"Yes" Avni replied grumpily pressing her face on the crook of his neck.

"I also missed you too bachha" Neil smiled digging his face into his soft hair. He was inhaling her sent, his eyes closed in love to be in that position with her.

"Ummm" a sound came out of her breath in response, shivered Neil creating havoc jolt on his chest.

"Hey don't do that" Neil said in a warning tone that fanned her ears let Avni gasped in response.

" That What!!" she pulled her face away his neck facing him.

"Such sounds and all" her eyes narrowed at his uneasily gulping throat. But relaxed instantly growing amusement in her eyes.

"Which sound!!" she asked innocently yet in a naughty gaze over Neil.

"That" finding her face mischievous, his eyes creased a bit.

"Which one! ummmm... this one!!" she was pretentious in a playful manner second time.

"I said don't" his serious glare earned her more amusement.

"Ummmm..." she put more sensuous in her voice another time coming dangerously closer to him closing her eyes partly.

But flinched shot them wider by his action next.

"Okay now face the consequences" finishing his talk, instantly Neil started tickling her letting Avni winched continuously having tickled over her waist by his fingers around.

"No no stop" she managed to say somehow in middle of her heavy breaths accompanying by her giggles and laughter.

"Aaaaaaa..." She screamed taking several attempts out of his grip but failed everytime. In result Neil tightened his hold on her more.

"Stop you kabir Singh" finally she spatted under her uneven breath untangling his hold on her.

"What!!" Neil stopped on the track he was onto. His gaze furrowed at Avni and hands loosened around her.

"Nothing" she straighten her back off his lap swiftly taking the opportunity.

"No you said Kabir Singh" his gaze grew queer followed at her getting up.

"If you have heard then why you asked me to repeat!! huhm!!!" Avni crossed her arms over her chest standing few steps away him.

"Why you named me that" Neil slowly got off his seat. His curious gaze still on her.

"Because you are Kabir Singh. You got mad at me as he did to his girl in the movie" she chuckled.

"Is that so!!" A smirk appeared on his lips leaving Avni to feel nervous all of a sudden. She shifted a little in a safe space away his presence.
"Then let me know you he did many more things to his girl in the movie apart being maddened at her" that made fluttered her eyes being uneasy. Every such moment with him brings Avni always feel zoo inside her stomach.

"Nnnow you don't need to prove yourself becoming truely him.. okay..
IIIt's wasn't actually I meant" Avni took steps backward the second she regreted anticipating his intentions by the statement he made replying her.

"Not okay baby!! I will show you now how I could enhance his character into me more becoming him in real" Neil approached closer her, left Avni take steps backward.

"Neil khanna!! Let me book a cab and go home, so that I could freshen up before starting another hectic evening untill night" Avni tried her best to bring down the topic into another one, diverting him.

"Ofcourse you will, why not baby!! but Not before you give me the thing I'm craving right now" there was a naughty gleam in his eyes. In a fraction of second Neil landed Avni on his chest pulling by her wrist and found his another arm wrapped around her waist.

"It's mmorning" she stammered avoiding to look into his darkly grown gaze digging onto her being a inch closer away.

"Yes I know" He whispered staring at her lips down.
Because of her height is much shorter than him his structure was entirely towering over her.

"None do such things in this hour" she somehow spoke in a shaky voice, her heart stopped beating inside feeling his breath over her face.

"What nonsense!!
who the hell say you all these stupid things!!" Neil raised his voice showing how irked her words made him suddenly.

"Your ex..." Chuckling Avni pushed him and Neil stumbled a step backward looking at her in horror. His expression changed into something very eccentric, Avni ever seen him before. His heart is drumming inside anticipating so many unpleasant flashes.

Neil stumbled backstep keeping his mind on her trying to register repeatedly the words she uttered in replying him just now.

The room they were inside was suddenly transformed into a pin drop silence cell.

"What happened Neil" her eyes grew a glint of concern staring at his pale face the second she noticed at his fast suspiciously changed behaviour.

"Iii think you should leave before it's too late...I mean you need some more rest before you go back for shoot" in a suggestive tone Neil spoke, his voice seems not as playfulness as it was a minute ago. Closing his eyes shut before reopened them he ran his palm over his face roughly averting it away her.

"Yeah right...let me book the cab then" Through her unsure glances over him Avni moved hesitantly towards the side another to the hall, she pulled her pH off the charger, she had put just coming out of his bedroom this morning.

"Yup..." Neil said almost in a whisper inhaling and exhaling deeper some couple of times in trying to regain his normal state pushing off his raised up frustration.
Then within some few seconds constructing an excuse he walked to his bedroom earning a confused glance from Avni on behind.

"See you in the evening....I'll pick you up around 5...
Call me once you reach" his voice was overly gentle than normally he speaks to her. Neil smiled tightly unlocking his apt main door for Avni seeing her off.

"And miss me" this time he tried to smile a bit brighter looking at her expressionless face. And the cause is he ownself, he knows it well.
Inhailing a heavy breath before she steps away Neil held her hands into his palm rubbing gently on her knuckles. That brought Avni looked down at their hands then up at him. Her eyes softened staring Neil's dropped face.

"You too" lovingly she stated back in a light chuckle. And wasting not a second more leaning to his face Avni pressed her lips on the spot an inch away his lips on his left cheek lightening up the tensed air that had enveloped them. That made her earn his usual startled smile back in response.

And Neil immediately pulled her into a tight hug and rested his cheek kissing on her side forehead before she headed to the elevator door going down away his floor.

I always plan before writing any chappie that, in today's update I'll add some other people dialogues and scenes partly. But look where I end up☹️

My leads are this much powerful and have so many shades that I hardly get space to include povs for other characters in my chappies😄
