I was engrossed going through the script leaning on a chair sitting beside Avni, who was busy discussing some scenes with RajSir sitting next to her along with other technicians around. The next shot was mine.

I was just scooted a bit forward to get up whilst leaving me winched I was blind folded by someone from behind..
"Happy birthday to you.... happy birthday dear Til..ooopps..Neil... Happy Birthday to you my bachha..." The female voice sang...
And I know who is she...

The word slipped amidst my soft grin out of my mouth "Mom!!!!" loosening her blind folded palms around my eyes I stood up holding them gently in my grip.. Moving closer I immediately engulfed her in a tighest hug with a surprising smile on my lips. Following me everyone around us left their seats and stood up from their former position.
"How did you know the way here mom!!!!you didn't even called me before coming" I mumbled in a state of surprise amidst my wide smile breaking the hug.

"That's the secrete" she smiled playfully shifting her eyes at Raj Sir who was now standing beside me surrounded by some few people including my co-stars. Everyone started gathering halting their works by my Mom's presence.

Side hugging her I turned towards Raj Sir. He was smiling looking at me. "Happy birthday Neil once more" Raj Sir wished me in his broadest smile and stepped forward to hug me..

I hugged him back thanking him then some more people from our cast and crew came forward and wish me who didn't present at the shoot last night...

"Guys 15minutes break" Raj Sir announced letting me spend some time with my Mom. Encircling my right arm around my Mom's shoulder I took her towards my vanity. On the way she kept her mouth moving continuously being excited.

Mon keeps surprising me a lot.

And I love her surprises.

She is the world's best Mom.
The one and only family I have.

"Tera pH kal raat 11baje se off kyu hai!!!...."Mom enquired roaming her eyes around my vanity and landed her hand bag on the chair aside. She rested her back on the bed and shifted her eyes at me.
"yeah you told me that you have late night hour so I didn't bother much.
I thought you must be tired so you have switched off the pH...but when it was the same still today morning, I hadn't other way and immediately called your Raj Sir to guide me the route towards this place" oooh shit I totally forgot about the pH after I got home back yesterday. I was exhausted shooting almost near about 18hours of work time last night.

When I went back home yesterday it was 1am night. Taking a warm shower I plopped down on my bed and dozed off in a deep slumber. I had totally forgotten about the pH. It has been switched off last night being uncharged, I even didn't notice when.
Today morning I have realised that it has switched off. I hadn't got time to put down it into charging not even when I had slided inside my car paniking being late arrival in shoot.
While changing into my costume inside my vanity I realised that I haven't put it into charge yet and ended up immediately plugging it for charging and after few minutes I left for the set leaving it there.

Listening to Mom I immediately stood up and went to my pH and switched it on. it's indicating the charge full on the screen now. As soon as it has been switched on, my screen flashes buzzing nonstop receiving hundreds of message notifications along with many missed calls.
Seperating the charger from the set I grabbed it in my hold and walked towards my mom and took my seat beside her.

The first text message around 11:58

"Wishing the best wishes to a nicest soul. Happy birthday Neil sir🎂♥️" my face lightened up reading the first wish I had received last night. I raked my hand through my hair being flushed gazing at the emoticon she has sent at the end of the last line she has wrote. She has already wished me last night this time even before my Mom could have. I grinned.

"She is crazy..."I shook my head and smiled pressing together my lips.

And wait. what she wrote!!! Nicest Soul !!!

Can I take it as her liking towards me!!!

I was so happy last night when she knocked on my door and wished me first. I had left the floor few minutes back to change into the costume for the next scene before she has come to give my waist coat which is the part of my costume I was informed. She immediately left not giving me the chance to call her inside.
I saw her shy smile before she turned her face to leave.

"Tillu may I know the reason of that red tint all over your face!!" Mom asked suddenly narrowing her eyes breaking my trance.
" Ye to definitely koi fan nahi hai or you wouldn't have flushed. As these things are very normal to you, receiving those lovey dovey messages...hum!!
who is she!!" She pointed towards my face through her creased brows. I immediately tried to keep my face as straight as possible pretended to be emotionless. I gave a simple smile huffing mentally.

Diverting the topic I showed Mom some of the vms that my fans have uploaded in insta sending me their wishes. Mom watched me furrowing her brows slightly observing my each move. Shrugging her curious gaze upon me I offered her to have something and ask her to be comfortable.
I acted my best not to show my excessive happiness in front of her pushing the thoughts of Avni to the back of my brain. But My flushed face failed everytime leaving my Mom more confused and feel bizarre through my strange gestures.

She sighed showing her blushed face shaking her head gently and got back looking at my pH. I saw through my peripheral vision.

Moms are always right with these special vibes.

When Raj Sir sent Neil sir to change into another costume for his next scene, that was absolutely a foul to send him inside his vanity so that they could bring up the b'day cake they have ordered half an hour before to celebrate.
They all got busy settling down the table to place the cake and other quick decorations. I took that opportunity swiftly and walked towards his vanity to wish him first.

Settling my hair and brushing my clothes to make it look more tidy I knocked on his door.

I have already wished him sending a text message last night around 11:55 as I always do.
Before I used to send him through Insta because I hadn't have his number then.

Why I wouldn't be!!! He is my only celeb crush after all.

After coming back home I checked my WhatsApp. It showed the message haven't seen yet. Thank god I didn't wait for him to be seen the message that I have sent him. I wished him before anyone would have..I guess.

He looked surprised when I wished him standing at the door outside his vanity. Before he could have call me inside I gave him his waist coat and left immediately being flushed.

Shit!!! I hope he didn't see my pink face.

I almost ran off the spot.

It's Sunday and we have off today. Having my morning routine I exited the washroom.
I changed into a loose t-shirt and shorts upto my knee length. I rolled my hair in a bun searching a clutcher to fix it on the top of my head, I heard my pH playing the call ring tone.

I received the call.

Neil Sir texted me his address to reach in his place around 8 in the evening.

I stayed staring at my pH screen trying to comprehend what he wanted to imply, didn't know how long widening my eyes untill Diya came inside my room holding two coffee mugs and extended her arm to pass me one. Then I realised her presence looking at her blankly.
