Saturday morning Avi woke up as usual around 10am.

Having done the washroom chores Avni walked to the kitchen, to have some coffee as she know Neil is out of the country..he told her last night while having dinner..
The weekend went good as usual Avni spent watching movies chatting with her Parents, and Rea.

Rea is quite happy for Avniel, she thinks she had done something gratifying for her both dear friends.
little did she knew, she has done the world's most beautiful thing to Avniel.

Weekend passed Avni got hell busy with her office errands.
Neil got also busy having hectic those schedule.

Now the day has come Neil is coming back to India.

Neil came back past evening.
He had his dinner and went to bed early..he said to Avni that he is feeling lil drowsy so he will go to sleep.
Avni nodded and wished him goodnight.
Neil went to his room, closed the door and slept.

Next day morning Avni went to the kitchen, she hurried Bheema to pack her tiffin fast.

A-OMG it's 9:15 I'm late today..she muttered looking at her wrist watch.

Bheema was packing her tiffin.

Keeping her bag on the kitchen sink AVNI grabbed the tiffin box from Bheema's hand.

B-Ye Bhaiyaji Ko aaj kya hua!! she said preparing the stuffs for lunch..

Avni was checking her stuffs in hassle inside the bag whether the stuffs are placed in perfect order. her tiffin, her laptop some other necessary things she carry everyday.
she stopped, lifted her head in response to her maid's words. Her gaze locked on Bheema, furrowed a perplexed frown.

A-kya matlab??? Avni asked. Her tone bewildered.

B-darwaja bandh hai..aajto lagta hai gym bhi nahi gaye honge.. Bheema informed with a very concerned tone made Avni little worried.

Avni got more confused and looked at his door.

A-Gymhi gaya hoga..she tried shrugging off the tension resumed closing her hand bag zip and then hung over her shoulder.

But Bheema made her stopped in her track again.

B-Nahi woh kabhi darwaja lock karke gym nahi jatey..bhaiyaji ander hai..

A-Tumhe kaise pate..she frowned deeper this time abruptly gluing her steps.

B-kyuki maine paanikey awaz suna hai kuch der pehle..Didiii..bheema stretched the word 'didi' when she hesitated before she continues as if she is going to say something she is not supposed to or not allowed to.

A-humm. Raising a brow Avni beckoned her to continue. And she did.

B-Ekbaar dekhona.. ajeeb lagrah hai..she prayed.
Now it's Avni's turn to grow really reluctant if she should or not.

A-Abhi!!mujhey to late hojayega aur bhi office reach karne main..ummm she thought for a second..
Okay let's go. Finally she agreed under her hesitation before she go and knock on his door which is the last thing she wants to do at the moment.

With a very unsure form Avni ambled to his door and next second age is knocking.

No response came as she expected so she gave another knocked bt to her surprise the result is same, the person other side didn't atleast made any move nor responded. But these time due to her small hand pressure the door got ajar and there she saw dark inside. For some bizzare reason Avni felt something weird and her steps advanced Avni peeped inside then called him by his name before she stepped inside.

A-Neil!!!are you there??
she heard a very low, muffled voice came out of a duvet with which Neil is covered.
Avni walked in. Actually she was trying to figure out the scene infront of her. It seems like someone is groaning in some pain shivering under the duvet.

With her concerned gaze Avni bent down to his bed level and removed the duvet a half of his face and she got startled staring at his pale shivering face.
She was shocked seeing him there in this condition.
the moment she removed the duvet from his head Neil very slowly opened his eyes with great effort. And his eyes are all red Avni saw.
Avni immediately placed her hand over his forehead and touching him he got the confirmation.

A-Neiiiiiiiil u got high fever!!!
Saying this she sat on the bed beside him.Tumne mujhey bulaya kyu nahi. Her voice frantic in worry looking at his condition.

Niel got himself so much sick that he barely could have spoken a single word in reply to her sentence. He let out a small cough and Avni understood.

A-tumne kuch khaya hai kya Subha se..chai wagera??

Neil just nodded no.

Bheema also there inside along with Avni behind. she was standing beside the bed.

A-Bheema ek kaam karo.. nahi ruko..she turned to Neil before she instruct to Bheema. Cornflakes khaoge?? Avni asked, as if someone in action.

Neil nodded no.

A-Chai pilo phir, nahito tumhe medicine nahi de paungi..u can't take those medicines in emty stomach. She smiled a little.

Neil said nothing..she took it as his agreement.

Avni understood Neil has no other option, so he said nothing.

A-Bheema tum jakey chai banake lao aur uske saath bohut sara biscuits lana.jao jaldi..she instructed, hurried her.

Within few minutes Bheema came back to his room holding a tray with tea and few biscuits.

Avni helped holding his shoulder to get up and made Neil sit leaning against the head board.

Neil sat putting his head on the head board..he is looking very sick.

A-Ye biscuits chai mein bhigoke khalo jaldi khatam ho jayega..and she gave the tray bt Neil was so sick that he couldn't hold the tray properly so Avni kept her hand under the tray so that it couldn't get fall down.

A-Bheema tum mere room main Jake woh dressing table drawer main dekhna ek box hai..woh jaldi lao..
Bheema rushed out of the room, less than a minute she is back and handover the box to Avni.

Avni took out a medicine but before that she gave a thermometer to Neil.

A-Neil tumne chae pili!!.. she asked looking at him then her eyes moved down to his tea to make sure it is empty.

Niel nodded closing his eyes. He has no strength to keep his eyes open.

A-ab ye thermometer lo aur muhmein dalo..have to see first how much fever u got.. come on Neil lie down..
Avni took the tray off his hand and slided it to Bheema..and helped him to lie down before she placed the duvet all over him properly.

It was 102.5F..

Avni just looked at him and opened the box.. took out the medecine and gave it to him..
Neil gulped down the medicine.. drank some water and laid..

Avni came out his room, called someone..
A-Hello Dr. Sen?? Avni here. Can u please come to my place now?? it's emergency..yup please..

Bheema was standing there looking upset..

B-didi aaj office nahi Jao ge aap??

A-nahi aise kaise Neil ko akela chorke jau..toooo..
Arey tumne achha kiya yaad dilaya..Abhi mujhey mail karna hoga ek..I need to send a mail to my boss that I'll take a leave today..
Avni immediately mailed her boss mentioning that she got stomachache 😜

Bheema smiled gently seeing her concern..and went back to kitchen doing her work..

Doctor arrived within 10mins..
First he measured his fever and then checked his Blood pressure followed by some other necessary primary symptoms ..

Neil is looking better..his fever got down..

D- Avni can I have the name of the medicine that u have given him??

A- Yup..she said and told the medicine name..

D-Perfect..I think the fever got down..byw how much fever you have got measured last.. he asked Neil..

Before Neil could have replied Avni said the exact temperature degree..

D-Achaa!!!humm there is nothing to worry as such..
Everything is fine..I'm giving him some antibiotics..take it twice after having meal..u will absolutely fine..have light food like soups, chapatis.. no rice today..and no bathing..
Waise Neil Khanna Ko fever kaise ho gaya..
Doctor smiled looking at both of them..
Avni was standing there.. she has no idea..this time Neil replied..

N-Maine ek rain fight scene shoot Kara wohbhi 6hr bheega hua tha so I got cold and then fever..

D-Hummm u people do really hardwork..I have seen all of your Web series..you act Fantastic..

N-Thank you..its my pleasure keeping u people entertained..he smiled a lil..

D-Okkay u take care..have a nice day..
Doctor left..

Avni came back to Neil's room..

A-Tum rest karo..

Neil was looking at her as he got mesmerized by something.
He was amazed by seeing her this much concern, How could a person can be so much caring with whom you have no such attachment!!she is really a nice person..much caring.. actually she is someone with a special soul..way much different from others..eventhough they didn't gell up yet much but what she did today it is unexpected..
I'm really impressed..then he realised..mmm I mean I'm touched..

N-Okay..he replied..

A-kuch bhi chaiye hoga just give me a missed call..u don't need to get up and roam around in search of me..
BTW do you have my number??

N-Nope..

A-okkay give me your phone.. let me save it..

He gave his pH..
Avni took the pH from his hand and about to save her number but Neil stopped her..

N-Arey Rea shared me ur number that day through what's app, I forgot to save it down..

A-Oooh then save it now..
I'm telling Bheema to give u some fruits..take rest..
She left his room, came outside and instructed Bheema to give Neil some fruits..
Tumne lunch banadiya hai to tum ab jaa sakti ho..and she went inside her room..

Luch time.. around 3hrs later..

Neil came out from his room.. there in the hall he saw Avni sitting on a chair kept her laptop on the dinning table and typing something..

N-tum aaj office nahi gayii!! He asked getting lil tensed looking at her there in the dining hall..

Avni looked at him..
A-Nahi!!She answered and her eyes went back to her laptop screen..

How are you feeling??
R u hungry??she asked him stretching her back.. stared at Neil..

N-kyuu nahi gayii??

Avni furrowed her brows.. smiled a lil and said..

A-Woh mere boss Ko fever hogaya isliye purey office chutti de diya unhone..

Neil got confused for a second then he realised what she told..

N-Tumne mere liye office bunk Kiya!! He said being surprised..

A-Nahi!! Tumhare fever k liye.. now she chuckled..

Neil was hell embarassed thinking that because of him she took the leave..

Avni understood that, and she speke to make things light..

N-Iiiiim really sorry I didn't realise..he stamaring being ashamed raking his hair back, he wiped his face with his palm in embarrassment.

A-To tum kya abhi thank you bolne waleho!!she asked him making him more tensed.. Sochna bhi math, tumhe pata hai meri kitni important meeting thi aaj..maine miss kardiya..she said with a very serious look..

Neil is staring her with his utmost helpless look..

Looking at his condition Avni burst out in laughter all of a sudden.. pressed a hand on her stomach..

Neil understood that she is making fun of him..

Though the scene is something else but he got lost in her boisterous laughter, that heart melting smile, which he didn't see her yet laughing this much heart out..

Neil just kept on staring Avni all the while.

Tum miley to jaadu chaa gaya..
Tum mile to jeena aagaya..
Tum mile to maine paaya hai khudaa..

My gawwwd!!! u know what I have been so engrossed writing this Avneil Ff that I can't think anything except my Avneil all the day long..
I can't imagine how my friends over here in Wattpad manage to publish so many stories all together..Hats off to them baba really they are genius..
