Neil came out of her room..he was heartbroken..he clenched his hair..Avin's I love him echoing in his ears..how could you love someone else Avni..

Kyu Avni kyu Kiya tumne aisa mera saath...I loved you so much..
jee nahi paunga tumhare bina..I was dying to see you since last week no one could ever imagine how I spent those days without you..pata nai zindagi bhar kaise reh payunga tumare bina but I know I have to..I'm madly crazily love with you..

Jab milogey tum kisi aur se to Jaan jaoge..
Agar achhe nahi they to bure bhi nahi they hum..

May be I don't deserve to be happy...
He cried his heart out hugging his knees..

I don't know what scares me most that you will never start loving me or I will never stop loving you..

Avni woke up of her stupor around 9:30pm

A-uff mera sarr.. clutching her hair she looked around..yaha main kab ayii..
she then remembered yesterday incidents..
Oh gawwwd what did I do..I messed up everything..I had planned to propose him but all went in vain..

She came out of her room in search of Neil..
She saw Bheema in the kitchen..
Bheema Neil kaha hai..

B-bhaiyaji kahi nikle hai.. mujhey kaha unke liye dinner nahi bananeko..

A-achha!!thik hai.. mujhey ek cup coffee banado..mera sarr duk rah hai..she headed to the balcony..

Bheema called her..

B-didi bhaiyaji ne aapko nimboo paani dene k liye kaha hai..khud banake gaye hai.. freedge mein hai kaha ki aapko de du...

Avni smiled and walked towards the freedge..

A-ye Neilu bhina..
parr woh gaya kaha!! She thought..
she smiled and opened the freezer..

Avni took a long shower to remove all those colour strains.. had her dinner..
she was sitting on the couch kept her laptop on her lap..

She raised her eyes heard the scratching sound of the door knob..Neil entered..
She stared at Neil but Neil walked passing her.. went inside his room..

His behaviour seems weird to her..Avni thought may be he is tired..

After half an hour Neil came out.. went towards the dinning table.. took a water bottle.. turned around to go back his room..

Avni stood in between his way..
They had a eyelock but Neil shifted his eyes immediately..

A-R you okay Neil??

N-yup..he said gripping the bottle tightest..

Avni furrowed her eyes to register his each and every expression..

A-R you hiding anything Neil??
Did I embarrass you today in the holi party??
if I did anything weird.. please forgive me I'm sorry..
trust me I didn't mean it..see m holding my ears..sorry..she pouted..

Niel looked at her once.. again turned his eyes another side and said..

N-Nope..not at all..

A-Then why you are not talking to me..even u r not looking at me.. she is in verge of cry now..

Niel shifted his eyes on hers..he want to hug her really tight.. her eyes shows that how much he means to her but the next moment her words haunted him back..

N-I'm tired..I'll talk to you tomorrow..he said controlling his tears not to break down in front of her...

Neil walked to his room leaving her behind..

Avneil were too much busy these days they hardly get time to talk to eachother..most of the time Avni takes initiative to talk with him but Neil maintains distance as much as he can..

Neil was reading script lying on his bed on Friday afternoon...his pH rang..

N-haa bol Rea..

R-hello how are you??tujhey aajkl kya hua Neil..r you alright??

Neil got up and sat straight keeping his laptop beside..
N-kyuu mujhey kyaa hua..he replied her back in a cold tone..

R-to fir Avni se baat kyu nahi karta!!Avni usdin kehrai thi ki tu ajkl bahot der se aata hai aur most of the time dinner bhi bahar karta hai.. what's wrong with you..mainebhi notice Kiya hai tujhey gym mein tu bahot shanth rehta hai..pehle jaisa fun nahi karta...
do you have any tension or any other issues.. you can share with us.. trust me you will feel better...

Neil thought for a second took a deep breath and replied..

N-Avnika koi boy friend hai??is she in a relationship??

Rea was shocked..she never expected Neil could asked her anything like this..

R-Neilll...she stressed the word with concern..
Do you like her??

Neil closed his eyes a lone tear dropped out from his eyes..
N- She is my first love..

Rea was numb..she doesn't know what to say..there was a pin drop silence between them.. gathering all her strength Rea again said..

R-R u serious??I mean...she paused..

N- She told me in her drunken state on that day when we came back home from the holi party..

Rea remembered the conversation she had with Avni last month in Joy's place having their dinner..

Flashback

R-Avuu tu ajkl kuch jyadahi glow kar rai hai!! humm! Baat kya hai..
Kahi tujhey kisise pyaar to nai hogaya...Haaa!! Rea teased her..

Avni blushed..

A-actually I don't know it's a love or its a mere attraction..
but the fact is I like him a lot..I mean I miss him when he is not around me..his gaze give me goosebumps..his presence makes my heart beat faster..

R-Rea furrowed her eyes and asked..Who is this He??

A-I'll tell you his name but not now because I have to make sure first that the things I'm experiencing these days is just an one sided or he also feels the same..

Flashback ends..

R-yup she told me few days back that she likes someone..Then Rea spilled out the entire conversation to Neil..

Niel released a deep breath..

N-I have got a project.. for that I have to leave the country for two months..and I thought not to come back here again..I have decided to move to another place because I'm not that much strong to see my love with any other person everyday..I just can't..

R-Neilll...
I'm sorry..ye sab kuch meri wajah se hua hai..she said feeling extremely guilty..

Neil cut the call..

Same day around 9pm.. Avni came back home lil late she bought some sweets..
She has been recruited to a higher post so she thought to celebrate with Neil..She was happy after so long..

A-(in mind)Neil thora aajkl busy hai.. ussey to baat hi nahi hopati meri parr ajka din main special karne wali hu.. whatever between us I'll clear it all today..may be he thinks I don't love him because I never showed him such kind of vibes like he always gave..but today I'll keep my heart out before him..she thought and gave a teary smile.

Avni parked her car..came inside her apartment..she unlock the door entered inside..
She saw Neil's door is closed..she walked straight towards the door and knocked..

Neil placed the laptop beside.. got up from the bed and opened the door..

Avni was standing there holding a big box in her hand..she was looking happy..For a second Neil lost in her ever cute smile but he came back from his trance..

N-come inside..he called her..

A-Nope she nodded..u come here sit...I have something to say you.. wait let me keep this box on the table..

Neil was confused looking at her but somehow he gathered himself..
Avni came back to him and about to start but Neil cut her..

N-(in mind) I know what do you want to say Avni..U want to give the good news that u r decided to get engaged or something like that..thats why u have brought my favourite cake to share the good news of ur life..

damn..

But I won't let you to take that chance, before that I'll give you another good news maybe you were willing to say me which you haven't gathered courage to say yet..
But I won't be your burden anymore..I can understand ur would be won't allow you to share an apt with a guy any more.. it's quite natural..before the things get more awkward I would make it easier for you..

N- before that I would say you something..he said in a very serious tone..

Avni was surprised and confused all together..

A-Achha!!! then you tell first..she smiled softly waiting for him to speak..

N-I have got a project..shoot will start within three days..So I have to leave tomorrow morning around 7am for London..the schedule is for 60days..
But the most important thing is I'm leaving this apt. I mean I'm shifting somewhere else.. because I share only one room.. I can't bring anyone else inside the apt so its getting lil difficult for me to avoid my colleagues to catch me up..even my manager sometimes need to come to my place in urgency..so I have booked an apt nearby..as I saw in the agreement clauses written there if you decide to move some other place..u have to be informed before one month..I have informed you so that you could get much time to find a new roommate... I hope u won't get into any kind of trouble regarding in search of a decent roommate..

Avni stood still.. anytime she could burst into tears..but she somehow gathered herself..she just nodded and replied..

A- congratulations..she walked silently to her room and closed the door.. leaning against it she burst into tears..

Neil came inside his room and threw himself on the bed with a thud facing the ceiling..tears flowing down from both of their eyes..
That night they didn't come out.. not even for dinner..they just craved for each other's warmth..

Next day morning..

Avni stretched her hand yawning she recalled the last night convo with Neil..she gulped down her throat anxiously and immediately got up from her bed with a jerk.
She opened the door and ran to his room..
The room was empty..Avni stood in the middle and rolled her eyes around..the silence in the place stabbing her heart..she fumbled slightly and slowly went towards his wardrobe..she opened it, her hands were shaking seeing he has gone. her furrowed eyes landed on something to the right corner inside his wardrobe..
She pull out that thing..

It's a Shirt.. the shirt which Neil had worn when they met first time..
She hugged it and knelt on the ground with a thud and sobbed shaking her whole body vigorously.

Neil was almost reached half of his way to the airport..his pH rang..
He parked his car aside and took the pH out of his pocket but instead pH it came out the spare keys of his apt..

N-oooh gawwwwwd..damn.. he banged on the steering wheel..
What should I do now!! okay I'll give to her once I come back..
He thought for a while..
If she needed the keys..if Avni got trouble no having the spare keys!! All these ifs and buts crowded inside his mind leaving him worried for her.
Okkky I'll keep it on the centre table and come back..m sure she didn't wake up yet.. because if I would see her again it wouldn't be favourable for me to control my emotions..

Neil took turn his car back towards his home..

Neil parked the car and took out the keys from his pocket and went to the elevator to get onto their floor..
As soon as he reached in front of their apt he quickly unlocked the door and crept inside nervously so that he wouldn't be face her anyhow. he had kept the keys on the cupboard and turned around to leave but before he could move a step ahead he halted on his track moving towards the exit door.. a blur sound made him pause coming from his bed room..he furrowed his brows.. sounded like someone is weeping..
Curiously He walked silently toward the door and peeped inside..

Avni is sitting on the floor sobbing back facing him.. clutching his shirt close to her heart her shoulder is shaking due to the heavy exhaling and inhaling due to the long weep.

He was shocked watching the scene infront of him..he can't imagine in his dream ever that this could happen..he would se his love in this vulnerable condition ever.
Without a second thought Neil pushed the door open and in a fraction of second he bent down his back and knelt down to her level and put his hand on her shoulder..
Avni flinched with this sudden touch she turned her face still cluching his shirt..
Her eyes is full of tears..her nose is all red..she is sobbing staring at him..
Neil was in utter shock looking at her state he got perplexed shocked curious concerned looking at her. Shaking his arm he immediately cupped her face and stammered in his trembling voice..
N-Aaavii what happen wwhy are u crying!! His forehead creased his heart his beating faster.

A-tumto bahot saarey romantic scenes karte ho tumhe nahi pata!!!she replied wipping her nose pouting sadly..

Neil was stunned looking at her..he didn't know what to say..he is crying and smiling all together..he is in a state of mixed emotions..is she actually saying what he is anticipating or all again he is expecting something impossible to happen.
But his heart heard what she exactly meant to and following his heart again this time he felt joy or joy would be understatement, actually he was in cloud nine..

Tears not leaving their eyes anytime soon so they let it flow. They didn't say a single word..Neil cupped her cheeks with his hesitating palms and rested his forehead against hers.. Avneil said together I love you😍

Shamil ho ja mujhmein yu tu..
Aks jo dekhu mujhmein dikhey tu..
Main Ranjha Heer tu meri hui...
