//This takes place a few months after the Oscars. I want this one to take place in a better year than either 2020, 2021 or now. You and Gwilym have been dating for about 10 months. I know that probably isn't long, but I don't want to delve into what happened in two years before 2022.//

The morning sun drifted through the curtains of your house. Gwilym had recently bought a house, asking you to move in with him and few months after the Oscars had taken place. The warm sheets rubbed against your bare skin. You groaned and reached, your hand seeking the body warmth next to you. You opened your eyes and frowned as all you felt was cold on Gwilym's side of the bed. You sat up, pulling the sheet to your bare chest, a force of habit. You looked at your side table and saw a a pink sticky note. You reached over and grabbed it.

Good morning, my beautiful darling, the note started off. I had the most amazing night last night. You might have noticed that you aren't waking up with me next to you like you normally do. That's because I'm sending you on a little scavenger hunt today. It's all in good fun. Your first clue lies in the kitchen. Happy hunting my love. - Gwil. You smiled and got out of bed. You pulled on some pajamas so that you weren't walking around the house bare. While there was really no one there to judge you, it still made you feel a bit more comfortable. You walked into the kitchen and saw a plate of breakfast. It had three sausage links, an assortment of fruits and some eggs.

Your favorite coffee cup

sat on top of a yellow sticky note. You picked up the coffee cup and read the second note.

Sorry to disappoint love, but this isn't a clue. However, I hope your favorite coffee cup gives you good vibes this morning. Make your coffee how you like it, darling. You probably know as well as me that I can't cook very well, so I asked Lucy to come in this morning while you were still sleeping and help me out. I hope you enjoy it. After you finish your breakfast, there will be a surprise waiting for you in the bathroom. - Gwil. You smiled at the thought and started to brew your coffee the way you loved it.

After finishing your coffee and breakfast, you went into the bathroom and saw several boxes; two on the counter, one on the floor and one in the bathtub, to which you laughed at. You decided to open the first one in the bathtub. There was a blue sticky note attached to the top of the box.

I know, I know, not the most practical place to put a box, but hey, it was the only spot where it would fit. I saw you eyeing this when we went shopping yesterday. You said you didn't need it, but I thought it would look beautiful on you. Please don't be mad at me. - Gwil. You opened the box and gasped lightly. Inside, was a beautiful blue summer dress. 

You picked it up and held it up to your form. It was a perfect fit. You sighed and smiled.

"I can't stay mad at him." You said to yourself. After opening the other boxes, finding a pair of earrings, a necklace and some heeled sandals that went with the dress, you picked up the last note.

I bet you look beautiful in the dress, darling. Now, your very first clue lies with Bear. Happy official hunting. - Gwil. Bear was your Australian Shepherd puppy that you had gotten a few days after you had moved in with Gwilym. Gwilym felt bad since you were probably going to be home alone when he had to travel for work, so he got you a companion so you wouldn't feel lonely. You walked back into your room and Bear 

looked up, barking happily at the sight of his owner. You giggled and stroked Bear's head gently, scratching behind his ears.

"Good morning, Bear. I assume you have a note for me from Dad?" You asked. Bear tilted his head and let out another bark. You looked into his dog bed and found another sticky note. This one was a dark blue, but not dark enough to where you couldn't see the writing. You picked it up, gently petting Bear as you read it.

Bear was a good boy and didn't rip up the sticky note, it seems. At least, I hope he didn't. You chuckled. When your first got Bear, he took to to chewing up anything and everything he could get his jaws on. It took at least a month of training to finally get him to stop. When you take Bear for a walk, go to the park where we had our third date. This is where I asked you to be my girlfriend. Rami and Lucy will have your next clue. - Gwil. You smiled and looked at the energetic puppy in your lap.

"Well, Bear. Looks like we're going to pay Auntie Lucy and Uncle Rami a visit." You said.

Rami and Lucy were standing side by side, smiling. Lucy gasped when she saw [Y/N] walking up in the sandals and dress Gwilym had bought for her yesterday. Lucy let go of Rami's hand and quickly stepped up to the woman and her puppy.

"Oh, love! You look gorgeous!" Lucy said, pulling [Y/N] into a hug. [Y/N] chuckled and hugged her friend back. Rami came in for a hug next, Lucy taking the leash from [Y/N].

"Here's your next note. Lu and I will finish taking Bear for his walk and drop him off at your house." He said, handing [Y/N] the next note. This sticky note was a lighter shade of blue.

"Thanks, Rami. By the way, do any of you know what's going on?" She asked, hoping to get some clues from her friends. Rami winked.

"Nope. We are sworn to secrecy by your boyfriend." He said. [Y/N] rolled her eyes and chuckled.

"Damn. It was worth a shot." She said. She waved by to her friends and made her way to her car where she proceeded to read the next note.

I guessed you would ask Rami and Lucy what was going on. Don't worry. I swore them to secrecy. ;-) Go to the spot where our second date was. I was inspired to take you after your God Father told me about your fascination with the stars. - Gwil. [Y/N] smiled. She knew exactly where that was. The London Planetarium.

You walked into the doors of the Planetarium. You looked around and saw some yellow stickie notes pointing certain directions down the hallway. You followed, collecting the stickie notes as you went. You finally made it to the hallway where the different stars and galaxies were. You smiled when you saw your God Father, smiling proudly. He opened his arms for a hug. You sighed as you rested your head on his chest. Brian kissed your head as you pulled away. He handed you a stickie note and winked. You read the note.

You're getting closer to the finish, sweetheart. For your final clue, go to the place where we had our very first date and our first kiss. Ben and Roger has the final clues. - Gwil. 

You looked up at your God Father. 

"Thank you, Papa." You said, walking out of the Planetarium and getting into your car again.

Ben and Roger stood side by side as the door to Queen and Loves opened and in walked [Y/N]. She smiled when she saw her friend and Uncle. Ben smiled and winked, handing her the first stickie note.

Roses are red, violets are blue, my favorite place to be, is together with you. - Gwil.

You smiled and looked up as Roger gave you the second note.

Go back to the park. There, your prize awaits. - Gwil.

You made it back to the park. There, you saw everyone. Your God Father and Anita, Roger and Sarina, Rami and Lucy, Ben, Joe and even Alan and his beautiful wife. You smiled at everyone.

"Now will you tell me what's going on?" You asked, causing everyone to laugh. Anita smiled.

"Turn around and you'll find out." She said. You turned around and gasped. There, standing behind you, was Gwilym, kneeling on one knee. He smiled, the smile that you always loved and fell in love with.

"So, you made it, darling," he said. He took your hand in his and took a deep breath. "[Y/N] [M/N] May. I kneel before you today, to ask you a question. However, before I ask it, I can't promise that nothing will ever go wrong in our lives. But I can promise that we'll be side by side, taking all of life's challenges head on and making the best of every moment that we're alive," Gwil said. Tears filled your eyes. You covered your mouth with your free hand, stifling a sob. Lucy had to wipe some tears from her eyes as well. "In making the best of every moment, we'll hang out like best friends, make love like soul mates, fight like enemies, stay together like family." Gwilym pulled out a beautiful, velvet blue case. A case fit for a ring. More tears fell down your face. "I knew you were the one for me the moment I realized that my happiness lied in your smiles, not mine," he took a nervous breath and smiled nervously. "So, I am asking you, on this day, [Y/N] [M/N] May, will you do me the extraordinary honor, of becoming my wife? Of becoming Mrs. [Y/N] Lee?" Gwilym asked. Tears kept falling from your eyes. You nodded your head, not trusting your words. Gwilym nodded his head, prompting you to use your words. You giggled and nodded again.

"Yes. Yes I will marry you, Gwilym Lee." You said, gasping through your sobs. The crowd behind you erupted into cheers as Gwilym smiled and stood up, bringing you into a searing kiss.
