*Janny's POV*

I was patiently waiting for the return of my roommate as I was sprawled out on the couch watching The Originals on Netflix. Stuffing handfuls of popcorn in my mouth, I shouted at the characters. Telling them how dumb they're being. They can't hear me, of course, but I'm most likely annoying the shit out of my neighbours.

I would normally watch the show with my roommate, Cara (she's fabulous btw) but she was out with her boyfriend, Tom. I got impatient and decided to watch it by myself to pass the time and cure my boredom.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" I screamed, scooting to the edge of the couch to be closer to the screen.

"Everything alright?" I heard giggling from behind me.

The sudden voice startled me slightly but when I turned around I was greeted by three people standing in the door frame. I hadn't heard them come in over my screams of annoyance, muffled by the mouthfuls of popcorn.

"Oh, hey!" I greeted them, quickly swallowing the popcorn.

"What are you w- YOU'RE WATCHING IT WITHOUT ME!? " my roommate, Cara complained.

"You- you were just taking so long!" I explained.

"That was Tom's fault!" She blamed, pointing at her boyfriend.

"What? Me?!" he gasped.

"Yes you!"

"How is it-"

"Could you stop?" An unfamiliar voice interrupted.

I hadn't even noticed him because of Cara and Tom's bickering. He was taller than Tom (a lot of people are but that's irrelevant), his brown hair was short and slightly wavy but what really stood out was his striking blue eyes.

" Who- who's this?" I asked, stumbling on my words slightly.

"Oh, this is Harrison" Cara introduced him "Haz, this is Janny"

Harrison

"He's Tom's best friend" she soon added.

"Hi, nice to meet you" he smiled, holding his hand out for me to shake.

"H-hi" I greeted, standing up and shaking his hand.

I'm the corner of my eye I could see Cara and Tom shoot a glance at eachother then back at Harrison and me. Devilish smirks plastered on their faces.

"How about we all go out to dinner??" Cara suggested.

"but you just got back" I pointed out.

"Then we'll order in" Tom quickly chimed in.

"It's settled then!" My best friend exclaimed, all too excitedly for my liking.

Harrison and I's eyes followed Tom and Cara as they frantically made hand gestures to each other. Somehow they knew what each other meant. No fucking clue how they did. But they did.

"Tom and I are going out to get a menu, you guys stay here" Cara eventually said to Haz and I.

"There's a menu right there" I said, pointing at the takeout menu on the coffee table.

Cara quickly ran to the coffee table, picked up the menu and threw it in the bin. "oops. Gotta get a new one"

"What the fuck are you doing?" I questioned her actions.

"Being Jesus"

"Bye!"

She then proceeded to grab Tom's hand and yanked him out of the apartment while he muttered a quiet "shit" as his arm almost got pulled off.

"What just happened??" Harrison asked.

"I have no idea" I said, turning to look at him.

I jumped back slightly as I nearly bumped into him when I turned around "s-sorry"

He laughed slightly in response "Don't worry bout it" He then made his way over to the grey couch and sat down, glancing around the room "It's a nice place"

"Thanks" I beamed, sitting down on the couch *five feet apart cause they're not gay. Sorry Janny. I had to*

"How long have you lived here?"

"A while. Around two years" I answered "Cara and I moved here when we turned eighteen"

He nodded in response, looking directly at me. His eyes really were beautiful.

"So.." I coughed awkwardly "How long have you and Tom been friends??"

His bright blue eyes immediately lit up "Since we were kids. It's pretty handy having a famous actor as a best friend to be honest" he laughed "he's great"

I couldn't help but smile when he talked. He's so fucking adorable. And don't even get me stated on that laugh. Holy shit.

"I got to meet Cara because of him, which is a plus" he continued "she talks a lot about you"

"really?"

"Yeah, all good things. Don't worry" he joked "She said you have a dog back at your dad's house. Bailey? Right?"

"Yeah" I beamed "She's the cutest. Haven't seen her in awhile"

"Do you have a picture of her??" He asked.

"Oh, yeah!" I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and looked through it to find a picture of her.

"Awwwwee" he cooed "She's adorable"

So are you.

I mean.

Um.

What?

"Yeah, she is" I agreed, shaking my thoughts.

Haz and I continued to talk about various things while we waited for Tom and Cara to get back with the menu, which we didn't need but whatever. We learned a lot about each other. About each other's past. About each other's family. He's really nice. And cute. I love his laugh too. He's just all around amazing.

Cara and Tom eventually came back, without a menu may I add.

"Where's the menu?" Haz asked them.

Cara and Tom looked at eachother and blinked.

"Oops."
