Kimora's POV

I sighed comfortably and I felt my body was so reviving. I had never been so relaxing since I started my hectic working schedule. I inhaled and smiled at the familiar lavender fragrance from Soleil. Her scent lingered around me since I laid next to her yesterday. I was getting addicted to the scent that came from her.

I remembered I was getting tipsy, rested next to her, letting her carry me home but I seemed to fall asleep halfway.

Somehow, I didn't feel like leaving my bed to get ready and work. I wish I could take a day off to sleep and keep Soleil's scent with me. But, life had to go on.

I forced myself to wake up as I groaned loudly stretching my body since nobody would care and I didn't think my moms would mind about that. I let my eyes fluttered open, rubbed them, and turned my body aside to face the bed table to check the time on my clock and my eyes shot wide when I realized already past 10 in the morning.

Why didn't moms woke me up?

I could tell I was still in my yesterday clothes seemed I wasn't comfortable with the clothes on me in my bed. Most of the time would wear a silk negligee which wouldn't have too much cloth to cover my skin when I was sleeping.

I look down at my body as I scrunched and I wanted to take a shower so badly. I hate that I slept in my bed without a shower, and I'd definitely change my bedsheet later. I would never sleep on my bed if I didn't take any shower or let the guests lay on it either.

Asides from that, I would always do this whenever I woke up. I turned to look at my favorite dark leather jacket of hers draping on my chair and I smiled at it. I knew I should return the jacket for her but I didn't. I didn't even wash the jacket and keep it on the chair so I can have her lavender scent whenever I sat on the chair.

Some of the people would think the person enjoying the scent of the other was weird. They should know the babies would always look for their mother's scents and they would be happy and enjoy smelling them. That's why I liked my mom's scent. Also, they said if you like someone's scent other than your mom, then you like the person.

Well, I wouldn't deny that I like Soleil from now on. I was not only attracted to her beauty, but also she brought so much joy and laughter with me whenever we hang out together. I understand it sounds crazy if I start liking her since we see each other within a week.

A part of me believed she liked me too, but nobody would be too forward to tell the person like, "Hey, I know you like me, and I like you too!" I knew I was overconfident sometimes but I will always play safe and gave consent to the person. Especially Soleil, I would never want to freak her out too. But, making her blush adorably was something I enjoy doing that.

I sighed with a smile after thinking about Soleil and decided to get a shower to freshen up myself without caring to look at my phone because I won't have any mood to do anything with my overnight no cleaning body.

"Why didn't you wake me up, mom?" I groaned as I heard mom was giggling through the phone.

"You're a light sleeper, and we knew you barely sleep tight. We're happy you can sleep long hours. Just take a break for today, baby girl. So, when are we going to Sunshine's studio for our photoshoot?"

"Today?" I blurted with a hint of excitement since to see Soleil again was a great plan to do something instead of slacking at home.

"Do you think we're going to get a day off too?" mom asked professionally.

"It could be part of our job too. Who knows if you guys happy with the pictures could make a cover magazine for The Flamingo hotel of the year." I shrugged even though she couldn't see me.

"Gotcha! We already set the appointment with Sunshine at 3 pm since we assumed you're looking forward to seeing her when you open your eyes," mom teased as I remained still and grinned to myself.

"Look at you, baby girl. You're speechless now, aren't you? You're so whipped!" I could hear mom keep laughing delightedly.

I pulled a straight face to myself as I cringed when I heard mom high pitchy screaming through the phone, "Yes! I win the bet! I told ya she already likes Sunshine!"

"We have expected that, right Lia? So, what kind of surprise are you gonna give me?"

"Ew! Moms! I'm still here! I'm off now," I quickly ended the call as I heard them giggle which I couldn't continue to hear anymore. I shuddered and I threw my phone aside.

Somehow, I quickly took my phone once again to check if Soleil texted me. I smiled at the notification from hers that she didn't disappointed me, but it was only a message since yesterday.

☀️Sun Baby☀️: It was a nice hangout with you. Your mothers already set an appointment with me at 3pm and we were thinking that was the reasonable time for you to prepare before the photo shooting. But, if you wake up earlier than we expected we can always change the time for you. Good night, and see you tomorrow, Kimmy Bear."

I couldn't help but squealed and laying my back on my bed after reading her message. Everything was out of my expectation and I think I should spend most of my free time drinking wine with Soleil for making me sleep tight. So, I would always have a blissful mood whenever I woke up the next day.

We stood at the front door of Soleil's studio and waited for her which had a black acrylic signboard with golden words written "The Solar Photography" and a sun logo below the wordings on the dark wooden door. Besides, the brew of coffee aroma from The Newton could bring up to this level. It was a tempting for people visit at here would get a coffee from downstairs.

"You're not going to press the doorbell, aren't you Kimmy?" I could hear mom ask from behind me with snickering.

"I'm gonna do it though," I said dryly and pressed the doorbell as the voice was the birds chirping cause we chuckled lightly. It didn't took long, I heard the faint beep muffled inside the door and the sound of the unlocking followed by the door opening.

"Hey," My skin effectively tingled when I heard her feminine deep and rich voice again since last night. I couldn't help but my eyes fall on the lovely tender blue eyes that lingered at mine. Soleil had pulled her dark brown hair in high bun, wore flannel shirt, a pair of jeans and a pair of brown bears home slippers.

At the moment everything seemed rewind to the first day we met. Our gaze and the way she dressed up was Deja vu.

I heard mom clear her throat as Soleil quickly shifted her eyes from mine to mom and then mommy as she smiled and waved, "Hi," she nodded at us apologetically and quickly stood aside for us to enter the studio.

While we entered her studio, Soleil indicated a shoe rack with a few cute home slippers and nicely offered us to change them and we did as she told us before she started touring us around the studio.

The wall was light gray, wooden light oak color flooring and the furniture looks modern from IKEA. I saw there had a set of white leather couches with a plain white coffee table in front of it, and there had a few portraits hang on the walls.

There had a large photo hanging above the white couch that caught my eyes. The photos had of a group of people in a place like having picnic in the park. They were different skin tone, shape of body, gender, ages and I could see some of them were same gender couple and man and woman couple. All of them were happily smiling, laughing, and talking with each other.

They looks happy together in a huge group and they had to split into two rows, some of them crossed sitting and some of them stood behind the sitting models. The picture would put a smile on my face after seeing the happy smile from the people in there and I found a quote under the picture I quite like it.

"Love and appreciate everyone's beauty."

"I assume you tried gather the people for taking this picture?" I smiled at Soleil when she stood next to me as my parents were sitting at the couch viewing Soleil's portfolio.

"Yes, it was a contest," Soleil smiled as she explained, "The quote of the title for our project and this is my idea. I was lucky that day these people were nice and willing to help me."

Soleil's smile grew wider and chuckled, "I had been worried I'll get rejected by them but they didn't. Look at the way they smiled with each other. Some of them became friends too. I did request their home address or contact to me, so I can send all the copies to them from door to door."

"You did?" I asked in surprise.

"Yes, all of them. I would never forget how happy they look like when they received the picture from me. I didn't win the competition, but their happiness is the matter. I'm glad I did this," Soleil said with blue eyes full of passion when she was looking at the picture before turning to me.

"Their happiness is the best prize for you," I said as she grinned in agreement.

"Okay, we're ready," mom called out loud for our attention as we were going to Soleil's photo shooting room. There had a hallway was only one door on the right side I assume was her office room. On the left side, there had two rooms and I assume one was the photo shooting room while the other room was no entry sign which Soleil explained was a darkroom. Last, the far end was a bathroom.

Once we entered the photoshoot room, it was clean and minimal with plain white painted walls and white flooring. The shooting room wasn't too large but could fit at least 10 people in here. There had two lightning kits one on the left and one on the right side, and a camera in the middle.

Soleil already asked us to stand in the middle of the place to be ready for a photoshoot as she stood behind her camera which support with a stand as she smiled brightly and said, "So, this is my baby, Sunny." she  gingerly wrapped her hands around her camera and added, "I'll always tell my clients not to pay attention at my baby because she'll be shy."

We chuckled as Soleil said with remain her smile, "So, what you're gonna do is don't look at Sunny, just let her do her job for taking the beautiful pictures of yours. Also, I will let my clients decide whether they prefer I give a little idea of posing, or they would do whatever they think is comfortable for themselves. What do you guys prefer?"

"I'm horrible in posing!" mom admit as we laughed.

"That's fine. The family picture is relaxing, nothing much need to do." Soleil assured with a smile.

"But, I wanna look like a supermodel," mom grinned as she playfully flipped her hair back and folded her arms for posing.

"Yes, I believe all of you here are supermodels with the height and beauty, just Keira's height is slightly taller." Soleil chuckled as she seemed already started taking a shot.

"Hey, are you saying that we're shorty?" Mom playfully complained.

"I didn't mean like that. Your height is standard for the model," Soleil said with a chuckle as she started instructed, "So, let's have the first shot, Kimora stayed in the middle, Keira and Ophelia will hug her side by side and faces gently pressed together."

I felt moms already hugging me as their faces squeezed mine and mom asked excitedly, "Something like that?"

"Yes, just like that," Soleil said as we were already stifling laughter and Soleil said, "Okay, Keira and Ophelia kiss Kimora's cheek,"

I whined, "Ew! No please." Soleil grinned as moms already kissing my cheek I saw Soleil already take a few shots as she chuckled and asked, "What kind of thing do you guys like to do with each other? Like my family, we love pillow fights."

"I don't think that's nice to do while we're on a photo shoot. My moms are crazy." I said as I shriek when mommy already hold me in bridal style as mom was side hug mommy and said, "I love this idea, let's take a shot."

"Let me go! I'm so embarrassing," I laughed and Soleil started taking a few shots. After that, Soleil continued to ask something and took a few pictures of us in a lot of funny things, and now she was taking mom and mommy's photoshoot.

I smiled when I saw the love birds staring at each other lovingly and in a few shots, and shared a sweet kiss in an embrace. I was thinking about what would I and Soleil looks like when we grew older. But I couldn't used mom and Charli's faces for resembled we grow older. That sounds weird.

I was distracted when mom was giggling while mommy embraced her from behind whispered something. I smiled and rolled my eyes at them because I assume mommy probably said something cheeky to mom by seeing mom's laughing expression. In the meantime, Soleil already taking a few shots. I didn't know what she was trying to say but my mom was laughing and she took their pictures.

"Kimmy's individual photoshoot can put in last after we choose our photos before we back to work," mom suggested as she glanced at me with a smirk.

"Sure, anything you guys are happy with," Soleil said as she took out the memory card from the camera and walked us to her office room.

Her office room was comfortable and spacious. Light painted gray wall and light oak flooring like outside of the room, A cute white wooden table with a black laptop on it. The table was clean and neat and there had a ceiling to floor window covered by the blind since it was a sunny day.

Soleil already switch on the light and ushered us to sit on the cushion blue couch next to her table. When we sat on the couch we were facing a huge LED tv screen on the wall. I was surprised Soleil served the drinking water and a few cans of soft drinks on the cute white coffee table.

"Since when did you get this for us?" I blurted as she chuckled and indicated behind her as I found there had a tiny pantry that could wash and keep the dishes and a small fridge beneath the counter, and the far end had a door I assume was a bathroom.

Soleil excused herself as she put the memory card on her white wooden table, then her slender hand hovered the corner of the table and press something beneath it. I was surprised by the wall slid and appeared a hidden sliding glass door.

Soleil pressed her passcode on the sliding door as it automatically slid wide and I saw there had a white desk in the room, a working chair, and a shelf with the books, files, and cupboards. The room like a simple small hotel room could fit a little furniture inside but I didn't want to intrigue her privacy. I looked away from her side and turned my attention to the tv screen and waited for her to come out.

"I'm sorry for taking you guys waiting. Give me a second." Soleil said apologetically like a little in the hurry maybe she was worried my moms had to leave. Deep down, I knew they only making excuses to leave me alone with Soleil since she hadn't taken my individual pictures yet.

Most of the time when we photoshoot with Victor, we would wait for each other and I would take my individual pictures before pairing up with my moms or together take other shot and their couple shooting in last.

Moms could be sneaky.

"Take your time, Sunshine. We're not in a hurry. We have nothing much to do in our office later though," Mom giggled knowing Soleil was getting nervous and trying fast to do her things.

Soleil eventually exhaled softly with a relief smile and said, "Okay, are you ready to see the pictures?"

"More than ready! We can't wait for it," I playfully cheered as Soleil chuckled and I saw her slender hand take the remote to switch on the tv and then put it aside and held the mouse.

After I heard her mouse-clicking, the screen appear our first picture shot by Soleil as I smiled at it. I felt everything was nostalgic when mommy and mom held me like that during my birthday celebration. I could see their eyes were on me with a warm smile.

I was speechless with the pictures Soleil had taken. It was not only perfect but the picture brought emotion to me and connected with my moms.

I heard mom was busy talking about the pictures with Soleil and she was patiently listened and see if mom need something to edit and change. But, mom seemed happy with the picture Soleil had taken.

"Wow, we can be the best couple of the celebrities in the year, huh?" mom was giggling and thought she was proud of the picture they had taken. The pictures of them were lovely. Mommy was hugging around mom's shoulders from behind looking at her tenderly with a smile while mom was smiling contently with her hands clutching mommy's arms around her.

"Oh, look at Kimmy!" Mom was giggling as I groaned when I saw the picture mommy was holding me in bridal style. I smiled at the picture as I felt mommy wrap her arm around me pulled me closer to her.

In the split second with the picture and in mommy's arm around me, I was overwhelmed when I flashback to the days she always did this to me whenever she and mom teamed up to carry me to their room for bedtime storytelling from me.

This was what we always did in the house, all of the happiness and content was by feeling. But, now saw from the picture the feeling was different. It was sweet to bring back the flashback to us. The smile and the laughing from moms were exactly the same and I never knew how much happy I look like.

That makes sense Soleil suggested we do something we enjoy and we're happy with.

"I love this one. This brings so much memory for us." I heard mommy say next to me as she gently squeezed my shoulder and patted my head as I lay on her shoulder and I hold my tears. I missed those times a lot even though they less spending time with me, but I can see the way mom and mommy looked at me had so much love.

Sometimes, we could feel the love and connection with the family, but from another angle of people's eyes seeing was different. The pictures would be how people see us, it was not faking, but all real.

Now I get this was what Soleil wanted, framed the happiness for her clients. I quickly wiped off my tears as I saw the pictures were mom and mommy sharing a soft kiss in an embrace. It was beautiful and I knew their love would never change by seeing the way they take care of each other.

"I bet if you shot more than 200 copies of us, we will get all the copies!" mom beamed and gently slapped her own lap with her hands and said, "Okay, thank you for your great shooting with us. I'll let you take care of our Kimmy."

Mom glance at me with a grin and she turned to Soleil said in a small voice but she said loud enough for us to hear, "Kimmy would be handy, it's kinda a challenging for you taking her pictures."

"Hey!" I whined as mommy was laughing and gently pecked my temple and mumbled, "Bye Kimmy," mommy slowly slipped away her arm as I tugged her arm back and pleaded, "Stay!"

Soleil burst out laughing and I was a little shock with her reaction. She didn't bother how loud was her laughter yet contagious that made everyone join her to laugh. I was surprised mommy laughed too because she was the calmness. Perhaps the way Soleil laughed was too adorable and priceless.

Mommy gently kiss my cheek and patted my head as she stood up and I held her hand and shot puppy eyes.

"You already grown up, silly!" Mom rolled her eyes at me but in a split second, she asked in worried, "What's wrong? I thought you and Sunshine are BFF, right?" Mom seemed like getting worried about me because of my facial expression I guess.

"Nah, I was just a little overwhelmed the pictures just now. I'm just a little missing mommy hugging me," I admitted as mom's face softened and chuckled with shook her head. She walked toward me and tap my nose, "We'll never leave you, unless we were too old to stay by your side."

"Mom, don't talk about this when we're outside, please. You're embarrassing me." I quickly wipe off my tears as mom pursed her lips and said, "You're always our silly baby girl."

Mom turned to Soleil and said, "We should worry less, Soleil will be take care of you when we're not around anymore."

"Stop it, Mom. Fine, just leave," I waved them off as my moms giggled and they talked something to Soleil before they left. My tears suddenly pool down my face after they left me in the room alone while Soleil was sending moms leaving from her studio.

I quickly snatched the tissue on the table and wiped my tears.

"Oh, I'm so sorry Kimmy bear," I heard Soleil's soft voice and I felt my head was pressing against her soft chest as her arms around my back pressed me closer to her. I couldn't help but sobbed as I heard she said softly, "Your photoshoot can take another time if you want." I nodded my head on her chest as she circled her arms around me and used her hand gently patted my head.

After a minute of crying she felt bad to make me cry instead of happy and I had to explain to her I cry because I was overwhelmed that I need so much love from them when I was younger. I also cried because they already grow old and I hate the idea they were leaving me when they in their old age.

"I used to think that too." Soleil smiled softly at me and said, "I remembered the first time when I step into this studio, I was overwhelmed because they gifted this place to me and I knew how much I keep saying thank you would never return the love to them. Mom bought this place when she returned to here and see mama again. She had planned this place would belong to either Lotte or me."

I sniffed as she gently caressed my head and continue, "Lotte decided this place would be for me because she will take over mom's business.  Also, I had worried about mama's business but she assured me she would sell to a potential buyer of her business when she retired. She told me that business was her dream and I should aim for my dream. I eventually cried after I had heard too much from them when I thought about they will leave me."

I lifted my face at her and smiled, "We are emotional people, huh?"

Soleil chuckled softly, "Yes, we are. That's why we like each other..." Soleil trailed of with her voice was getting smaller and I could see her face tinted and quickly added, "As a friend, right?"

I laid my head on her chest again and wrapped my arms around her and said, "Yes, like each other as a friend." I hummed and snuggled closer to her and said, "I'm a little tired after crying. Mind if your friend gets a nap like that before I'm leaving?"

I felt her body stiffen a little as I smiled at her fast heartbeat drumming in my ear. I loosened my body and let my eyes close as I heard she eventually mumble, "Okay." I felt she gently shift her body to let herself lay her back on the couch and I comfortably laid on top of her. I listened to her soft heartbeat as inhaled her soothing fragrance, and fall asleep in her arms.
