Twirl Me Around in Your Mind (requested)

Request: Wednesday is in prison and Enid is the guard.
I know almost nothing about prison so buckle up.

The left hall had a leak, it always did, the bucket beneath it got changed twice a day, no one bothered to actually fix it.

Enid heard water dripping into it as she approached, new bucket clasped in her left hand. The prisoners down this hall were supposedly worse than the others. Single confinement, but close enough together they could speak to each-other. They never did though. Sometimes she wondered if the man who never moved from his bed was even alive anymore, his chest didn't visibly rise, but it wasn't her job to check.

Enid took a deep breath as she approached the leak, landing just in front of a girls cell. She knew who it was. Wednesday Addams, charged with enough things Enid had assumed she'd go straight to the chair, she had, yet she came out with only one hair on end.

A hand came through the bars, causing the water to drip down to it instead. Her nails were clean and somehow she'd worked black polish onto them, standing out against her ghastly skin. Enid had asked if she was ill once (though she wasn't supposed to speak with them), an attempt to get her medication. She'd nearly wrapped her hands around her neck, only stoped by the bars.

"Come here Little Wolf, I don't want it overflowing." Wednesday's voice was scratchy from lack of use, but it echoed with a false sweetness. Some of the water dripped down her finger and landed in the bucket.

Enid's footsteps seemed far too loud as she pushed on, stepping in front of the cell at a six foot distance. She would have to get closer.

"Come on, I don't bite, baby." A small smirk danced across her cracked lips. Enid hasn't seen her smile before, a blessing apparently as the look made her feel like she would beg to be bitten if it meant some attention. There was blood in her mouth.

Grabbing the poll from the wall nearby, Enid pushed it forward, hooking it beneath the handle. Before she could tug it away Wednesday's hands did too, and she pushed the bar away. "Come get it," she taunted.

Enid tried the poll again, but it was continually pushed away from the leverage point. She wasn't allowed to talk to the inmates, not give them a sound, yet a growl rolled in her throat out of irritation.

"Just come pick it up!" Wednesday said with a soft giggle, her braids moving like whips as she shook her head in what Enid assumed was disappointment. "I won't even touch you."

"Than why are you asking me to come over. Let me use the poll." Curse her inability to keep her mouth shut.

"Just do it," Wednesday snapped, retreating her arms to her sides. "Hands stay here. Promise."

Enid pursed her lips, heart pounding. Every day, every time she had to change it. Normally Wednesday gave in but sometimes she just dashed forward and pulled the bucket away, spilling the contents in the prosses. "Explain why or I'm leaving it and you can have wet feet for a few days."

Wednesday ground her teeth visibly, taking another step back. "The poll makes me feel like an animal."

"As if you didn't put people in cages yourself? I know your history, Miss Addams," she hissed, approaching the bars without thinking. "I know how twisted you are, and I don't trust you, so let me grab the bucket or you can wallow in your faults."

Wednesday stepped up to the bars again, hand flying through and grabbing the hem of Enid's shirt. "I am untrustworthy, but that doesn't change you being stupid."

Heart pounding Enid attempted to throw herself back, but the grip was far too strong and it only caused her to rebound directly into the bars, her forehead slamming against them as her foot knocked over the bucket and spilled water over her feet.

"Damn, double whammy, should have listened."

"You would have grabbed me either way," Enid hissed, trying to ignore the hand that wasn't gripping her shirt as it brushed over the back of her neck, Wednesday able to twist her arm at an odd enough angle to maneuver her shoulder through the hole.

Wednesday's fingers twirled her hair around, pulling on the blue and pink strands slowly. "I'll let you go soon."

"Oh, how delightful to be me."

Her finger paused by Enid's ear, twitching when she stayed still as if it was killing her. "Yeah, it is. You know some people have fantasies about this sort of thing, they read about it, imagine it, touch-"

"I'm stopping you there," Enid snapped before the words could further disturb her, though her heart was pounding loud enough already. "I don't share those peoples fantasies, especially not with you."

"That's what they all say."

Then she laughed. It was a crackly sound, like whips lashing against a wall. Crazed and utterly insane, yet there was no denying the upwards tilt it placed on her lips was pretty.

"Who all say?" Enid dared to ask, knowing she was only keeping herself there longer, yet curiosity peaked her interest.

Wednesday stopped her laughter, gaze coming to rest on the woman in front of her again. Her eyes were slightly bloodshot and just as sickly as the rest of her, yet they sent chills down Enid's spine.

"Who all say? Hm, who all say?" She shook her head slowly, although she made very little sense. "The pretty ladies all say."

"The ones you kidnapped?"

"Mhm," Wednesday's upper lip curled, her thumb pressing down near Enid's ear. "Do you think you're a pretty lady?"

"No."

"Really?" She tisked softly. "I think you are. Pretty dumb lady, water all over your feet."

Enid tried to pull alway again with no better luck, though she did shake Wednesday's hand from her face for a moment.

"What do you want?" She spat, feeling as if time was ticking right by her ear. If her captain came down that very hall and saw her in such a position...well her job would be past 'on the line'.

"To touch you."

"Really? You struck me as a more touch avoiding person," Enid grumbled, pretending to ignore how Wednesday had pressed her thumb to the corner of her lips.

"I used to be, but do you know what years in captivity do to a person?" Her thumb moved so it was placed in the center of Enid's lips, brushing over them. "Guess."

Was she supposed to talk like this? The woman was a psychopath.

"Wha-"  before she could continue Wednesday's thumb was in her mouth, pressing down on her tongue and her pointer scraping over the roof of her mouth in a way that was sure to draw blood.

"I miss blood. It's warm." Wednesday giggled. "Do you like this?"

Enid wanted to scream, yet she couldn't say much of anything.

"Good." She hadn't said anything! She tried to pull back again with no success.

"Listen pretty girl, I'm going to kill you now."

A/N: oh look, not updating for almost six months doesn't make you magically better at ending a Oneshot.
