The signals tyler should have been looking for.
Prompt: idk how to explain it so just understand it's fluff and if u like fluff u shall like it. Also animal slaughter.
Also kinda has like an Alpha dynamic thing but not really.
Enid had never felt more threatened by a stupid male. It just wasn't fair. Why was Wednesday hanging out with him and his stupid man bun. Why were they always whispering under their breath together? Why did it seem like he knew things Enid didn't. Most importantly, why was she getting so territorial over her roommate?
"Because you are whipped," Yoko laughed as Enid finished explaining her problems. "For goodness sake Enid, can you honestly not tell?"
"I am not whipped for Wednesday Addams, Yoko!" Enid rolled her eyes. How could she even think that, Wednesday was her roommate, and she was definitely straight...Wednesday at least. Enid couldn't help but feel butterflies any time she even thought about the girl.
"Enid...you just explained to me in detail how absolutely gorgeous she was."
"As friends!"
"Half of this conversation was about her eyes, and how he looked at them like you wanted to."
Okay, this was the reason she didn't tell Yoko anything. "Yea to keep her safe from him!"
Yoko sighed, rubbing her hand over her face. "Listen, you believe what you want, but everyone can see it, you are fouling no one but yourself. Just go get your damn girl."
That was possibly the most odd way Enid had ever seen Yoko leave a room, but with the sudden silence of the empty dorm, Enid found herself with her face buried in the pillow.
She lay there like that until the mildly suffocating fabric got to her and she had to turn her head to the side, though even than, her arm covered her eyes. The chances of Wednesday returning the feelings were little to none, and how would she even figure out if she did. Unless...
Enid sat up, grabbing her computer off the side table. She had heard references to this before, especially since she was a werewolf. Courting gifts.
ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
It turned out that you could take about four different routs for courting, all of them veering through levels of difficult. Of course, the hardest option would be three gifts, all made fully by hand. You make a craving? Well you also cut down the tree, some even went as far as growing a tree.
The second option was classified as less difficult, though Enid knew that was likely incorrect. You had to kill an animal of sort, offering its meat and bones, preferably carved into weapons, as the gift. As much as Enid hated it, she knew that the other two options (something you bought or something you half handmade) were not nearly as good. This was Wednesday Addams we were talking about.
Shutting down her computer, Enid lay down again. All she needed now was Wednesday's favourite type of meat.
ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
"Elk."
Enid wanted to claw her eyes out. Of course it had to be the cutest animal known to mankind, what else would she expect from Wednesday.
"Why do you ask," Wednesday didn't look up from her typewriter, though Enid was fairly surprised she wasn't getting ignored fully at the moment.
"Um, I donno, we never really talk so I was just starting a conversation..."
Wednesday turned around now, a small scowl on her face. "I spend an appropriate of 10% of my day in conversation with you Enid."
"Hey, you can never talk to much!"
"You are right now."
Pinching her lips, Enid turned around. "Right, uh, I guess I will just go to Yoko's then."
With no response, Enid grabbed the pre packed bag she had sitting on her bed, throwing it over she shoulder. "Talk to you later I guess."
She did not in fact, go to Yoko's room. Yes she had planned to...actually plan the hunting trip, but with how late Wednesday had come back, smelling like Xavier with a hint of a smile on her face, it was clear she had to start now.
It wasn't long after that she realised she wasn't exactly dressed for the forest. While normally one would wear boots, she was in slip ons and a knitted skirt, the rose bushes brushing against her legs and wedging themselves into her skin. The only smart part about her outfit was the deep purple sweater she had on over her tank top.
Not bothering to go back now, she grit her teeth and kept going, the feeling of the knife she had slipped from Wednesday's desk heavy in her bag. She couldn't stand the thought of killing with her bare hands.
Eventually she came to a clearing, placing her bag on the grassy floor. She knew that Elk tended to prefer to graze in tree empty areas.
The thing no one told you about hunting was the waiting. Hours. Enid felt her body slump as the sky started to darken, knowing she had been there for almost four hours now, doing literally nothing.
A rustle in the bushes brought her out of her thoughts, her body instantly tencing up again as possibly one of the largest animals she had ever seen walked out in front of her.
The elk was clearly male, his antlers each individually being almost the size of her armspan. She had heard about her siblings explaining the feeling of their "wolf instincts" and how dangerous they could be sometimes, though Enid had never believed them, she understood now.
Maybe it was the moon, or the way prays smell drifted into her nose, but she found her claws extended, her body pressed against a tree as to not be seen. The idea of using a knife seemed stupid now, why do that when she could use her claws, they were much stronger, and Wednesday would be fairly proud of her, she knew it.
She watched as he moved, calculating each step until she knew he was within jumping reach.
3...2...1...
She landed on its back, her claws digging into its skin as it let out a sheik. Once her hands were gripped on enough, Enid growled, her teeth gripping into its neck. The horrid flavour of blood poured into her mouth, but she ignored it, feeling as the animal weakened, blood puddling from every puncture.
Still not wanting him to suffer, Enid didn't hesitate to brake his neck, feeling as the body feel to the ground beneath her.
With blood running down her back, she hooked her arm around of the antlers and started to drag it back, feeling almost no fatigue due to her all so helpfull super strength.
The closer she got to the school, the more her power wore off until she found herself practically holding a full grown man on her shoulders, through she forced herself to keep going until she reached the crypt. When having a body, it wasn't exactly smart to stick it in a place with other, more rotted bodies, but Enid ignored that, taking out the knife and starting to de skin him.
The whole process of skin removal probably took around three hours, than she started to removed the good meat. She would not be able to wear these clothes again. She sorted out the good peace's onto the skin, just placing the other stuff on the ground. She would probably dry it into dog treats.
Knowing night had long fallen, Enid pressed herself against a wall and started to carve the bones. It was unluckily she would sleep tonight.
(❍ᴥ❍ʋ)
Somehow she had managed it, as she woke up with her head kinked in an odd position and half her body upright on the wall, seven bone knifes beside her.
Enid pulled her phone out of her pocket, wincing at the dried blood that plated it. 11:00 am. School. Shit.
She grabbed the skin, wrapping the meat in it and placing it over her back. The other stuff could dry in here for the time being...or get eaten.
By some work of the gods, she managed to make it to their dorm without being spotted. Wednesday was not there, probably in class, so Enid opened her mini fringe, placed the stuff in bags and filled it. Some of the less expensive cuts didn't fit, as should be expected, so she took the rather interesting route of just tossing them off the balcony.
(Yes I know this is a waste of food, I'm not saying to do this, I just highly doubt she would be able to fit all the good pices in her fridge)
She than washed the excess blood off the skin and shoved it under her bed, heading into the well needed shower.
It took a good fifteen minutes to scrub the red off her skin, and another twenty to replace the smell with her usual strawberry one, but eventually she stepped back out again, pulling on her uniform and brushing out her hair. She didn't have the time to dry it.
Throwing the clothes into the trashbag as she walked out, Enid broke into a sprint down the halls just as the bell for lunch rang.
The halls flooded with people as they ran in the same direction, probably all trying to get something for taco Tuesday.
The moment she entered the quad, someone gripped her back, and she felt nails dig into her skin, another hand grabbing her other shoulder and spun her around.
"How was Yoko's room," Wednesday hissed, her nose inches from Enid's, eyes practically burning holes through her head.
"Uh, great...I slept over so uh-"
"For goodness sake Enid, don't give me that. I asked Yoko when you weren't there this morning."
Well that...was definitely not good. "I..." Enid clamped her mouth shut, knowing no matter what she said would sound like a lie right now.
Wednesday dropped her hands from Enid shoulders, backing away. "Come talk to me when you can tell the truth. I thought you were the odd person who I could actually trust."
Enid felt her heart drop into her stomach as Wednesday stormed away, not bothering to grab any food as she turned the corner.
"Damn," Yoko popped up beside her. "You've done it now."
"Shut up."
She rolled her eyes. "So what were you actually doing?"
Enid glanced over. "Why do you think I would tell you if I wouldn't tell her," than she ran off after her roommate, taking the path that lead to their room.
"That was fast," Wednesday said when she entered, a book propped up on her chest as she lay down reading it.
Enid didn't acknowledge her, instead, taking out her best silk dress. The meat was supposed to be wrapped in silk after all.
She sat down at her desk and without a word started cutting out large squares. She could feel Wednesday's anger radiating all over the room as she flipped the pages loudly, though Enid made no attempt to talk to her.
When the bell to end lunch rung, Wednesday stood up, seemingly waiting, though Enid didn't move.
"Go on, I already missed the first two periods I can just skip today."
The moment the door slammed shut, Enid stood up again, opening the mini fridge and pulling out each slice. She left them in their bags, but covered each in the silk, than wrapped each bone knife individually and lay it out over Wednesday's bed.
She spent the rest of the school day working out the fur until it was smooth, than she folded it, placing it in the same place as everyone else.
Knowing the bell would ring soon, Enid waisted no time rushing out of the room and back down the stairs. She decided to head back to the crypt, hanging each slice of meat over something so it would dry.

Once sure that Wednesday would be back in the dorm, Enid returned, slowly pushing the door open. A rustle came from the other side, but she slipped in anyway, turning to her side, not even bothering to look over at Wednesday's.
"Enid..."
She flopped down on her bed, pulling out her phone as her cheeks went bright red.
The sound of Wednesday's footsteps crossing the room rang in her ears until Wednesday was close enough there was no way to ignore her. It was clear she had opened the stuff, one of the bone knifes clutched tightly in her hand.
"Did...are you trying to court me right now?"
Of course she knew what was happening. She was Wednesday. "Maybe."
Wednesday put the knife on the dresser, holding her hands in front of her now. "And you...killed this elk."
"Yes."
Enid watched in pure amazement as a heavy blush lit Wednesday's face up. "Is that why you were gone?"
"...yes."
Wednesday took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. "I will admit, that is rather drawing."
Here came the but. Enid felt her chest sigh down, there was no point in denial. She waited but no other words came, Wednesday just stood there, face getting more red by the second.
"I suppose...I will than...accept this request."
Enid flew upwards, not caring as her phone bounced off the bed. "What?!"
"Oh please, your acting like I haven't been hinting at you for months."
She had been what?! "The roses?!"
"Who else?"
"I don't know? Ghost?"
Wednesday rolled her eyes. "I never thought I would be attracted to someone so oblivious."
Attracted. Holy crap. This was real! Enid moved forward a few inches. "Sinclair if you are trying to kiss me right now I will throw you out that window." She backed away again.
A small smile spread across the corners of Wednesday's mouth. "I will hold your hand though."
Enid quickly grasped her hand, face going pink. "Holy shit!" She paused. "Wait...what will we do with all the meat."
