Romance in the air

A/N: some fluff for y'all since those that two chaps... there's a bit of making out.

Wednesday was finished packing the bags. She had made sure to bring all Enid's favourite clothes and swim suits, as this would be a surprise. She just hopped she had chosen the right ones.

Hiding the three suitcases under her bed, she rushed back over to the computer she had been using earlier. Plane tickets? Done. Room booked? Done ages ago. Packed including all the makeup and necessities? Done. Now all she had to do was find a way to get Enid to the airport without her being suspicious, than she would tell her what she had been planning.

Her plan had taken months to put together. Around December she had come across a couples weekend suite in Paris while scrolling Facebook, and instantly knew it was perfect. The room servis would set up four different romantic activities for you through the day, meaning eight in total. They ranged from spas to simple bath set ups, or making the bed with roses, though that seemed to happen every night and not count.

Wednesday shut the computer just in time for Enid to walk in. "It's official, I hate grade twelve! Why does it have to be so stressful, and the weekends should be nice but it's so loud here all the time! At least we have Friday off."

Perfect chance. "How about we go for a drive Friday, I bet we could borrow Xavier's car and just take in some scenes. They have pretty roads around here."

A grin spread across Enid's face. "That's so romantic," she kissed Wednesday's forehead, "of course we can go."

Walking over to her own desk, Enid pulled out the homework her girlfriend had already finished, sighing as she started.

Wednesday pulled out her phone, typing in Xavier's number. He knew about the plan already of course.

Hey, can I borrow your car to drive Enid to the airport tomorrow? Havnt told her yet, plan to say when we get there, you could come by later on Bianca's car and the two of you drive back?

It only took a few seconds for him to answer.

Of course, sounds great to me. Did you make sure to pack at least one of Enid's stuffies?

Wednesday rolled her eyes.

Of course, her favourite one, I hope she doesn't notice he's gone tonight. She dosnt normally seem to when I snuggle with her, but I want to save all that for the retreat... eh it's fine I can suck it up.

Discarding her phone, the young Addams flipped through a book instead, reading for the next few hours until Enid let out a loud yawn.

"Done my homework, gonna go get ready for bed."

The two girls changed and brushed their teeth, taking turns in the shower before bed. It was rare that Wednesday even sat on Enid's bed, it didn't matter that they were dating, so she was rather surprised when Wednesday walked over and plain out crawled in.

"Uh-"

Wednesday wrapped her arms around Enid's torso, resting her head against her chest. "M lonely without you all day, those stupid clubs keep you out and about."

Enid seemed too flattered to speak for a few seconds. "Uh, you miss me when I'm
gone?"

"Don't push it."

Taking the point, Enid just snuggled up to her as well, falling asleep within seconds. She had no clue what tomorrow would bring.

Enid woke up without Wednesday in her arms. In fact, the other girl was no where to be seen. A note was left on the table, and Enid frowned in confusion when she read it.

𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒓, 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒔𝒐𝒐𝒏.
𝒙𝒐𝒙𝒐-𝑾𝒆𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚

Why would she need to prep the car, they were just going on a drive? Maybe sheeny she was asking Xavier if they could use the car. That made sense.

As she had said, Wednesday came back pretty soon, just as Enid had finished getting ready for the day. She had gone pretty simple, with just her normal makeup and a strawberry print Kawaii style dress she had found at Hot Topic while following Wednesday around.

"No clashing colours," Wednesday stated.

"Well I was gonna add orange fishnets but I just went with these socks...that I stole from you. I didn't have any thigh highs and you do so I-"

"It's okay Sinclair, I have a collection of stollen hoodies of yours somewhere."

"When do you wear my hoodies?!"

"When I want to smell you," Wednesday shrugged like it was the most normal thing in the world. She glanced up at the clock. "We should start our drive now."

Trying to put what had just been said behind her, Enid nodded and followed Wednesday out to the parking lot. The back of the car looked stuffed full of stuff that looked suspiciously like luggage, but knowing Xavier it was probably something from his last trip he just hadn't cleaned out.

"You first," Wednesday smirked and opened the door for her.

Soon enough the two were off, Maroon by Taylor Swift playing on the car radio softly.

Enid couldn't help but admire Wednesday's outfit, though the whole point had been to look out the window. She had gone quite classically goth, with a collar like neckless, black corset top and high waisted jeans with rips in the knees. A black jean jacket was almost hazardously put on, with one shoulder showing, and Enid now understood the no shoulder dress code, because she couldn't help but admire the way her muscles moved as she drove, the bone shifting and the freckle right before her neck started moving back and fourth with the skin. And her boots, the lace ups with a platform, they went about halfway up her calf, in a way just framing the shape. She had chosen a quite drawing black lipstick too. Enid could probably make her pink lipstick red if she leaned forward a bit and-

"You are staring."

"Because you are hot."

Wednesday shot her a sideways glance quickly before turning back to the rode. "You as well."

A few minutes later, Wednesday pulled into the airport parking lot. "Why are we here?" Enid asked looking around, confused.

Wednesday unbuckled her seatbelt. "You wanted a weekend away from the school, did you not? I thought Paris would be a good place."

Enid felt her jaw drop open. "We are going to Paris?!"

"Only for the weekend, and don't worry, I packed at least half your wardrobe, you have a carrion and two that go into the planes stomach (let's pretend the author knows what those kind of luggages are called)."

Still in shock, Enid just blinked a few times. "Where are we going to stay?! Did you book a hotel?"

"Couples suite by the water," Wednesday winked so fast Enid barely saw it. "I got us the room that opens right to the pool, now come on, we don't want to miss our flight."

Enid could tell Wednesday was a bit distant the whole flight, though the flight was only about two hours long. She pulled her hand away every time Enid reached for it, leaving Enid a bit hurt and confused since she thought this was going to be more touchy until she finally spoke up.

"I just need a bit of mental charging so I can be with you all weekend, don't worry."

That made more sense. Enid tended to forget others actually had a social battery, and that her girlfriends was particularly low.

Soon enough the two were in a cab, some of the luggage that hadn't fit in the back at their feet. Enid was glancing around like a crazed puppy, trying to take in all the views. She almost screamed out loud when she saw the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

Once they arrived, a man greeted them, taking their stuff and asking for their room number. "I will bring these to room 401, you guys can go register." And he was off.

Once they were signed in, the girls went up to their room. Their turned out to be a fancy entry way when you came in, that lead to a small kitchen, that branched off to the door that lead to their personal sauna, another door to that bathroom, that turned out to be almost all marble, one leading to a general living area and the final, a bedroom.

Their luggage was already placed in the dresser when they entered, only the other stuff still in bags. The bed was at least a king, if not somehow bigger. The sheets were white with a golden drape over the end, rose petals scattered over the sheets and on the floor. A rose scented candle was already burning on both bedside tables, the room light a dim glowing yellow.

"It's only three, should I blow out the candles and we go to the Eiffel Tower? We can re light them later tonight. Our planned services don't start until tomorrow."

"Uh, sure yea! I have literally never been anywhere this fancy," Enid laughed nervously.

Sensing her discomfort, Wednesday smiled softly. "Don't worry, I bet people leave this room way messier than we will."

"You mean with a broken bed frame?" Enid attempted at the joke.

Wednesday rolled her eyes. "Honestly wouldn't doubt if that has come up before," she leaned over the candles and blew them out, turning the lights to their full volume again. "Are you in comfortable shoes? Or should you change them before we leave."

Enid glanced down at the black converse she was wearing. "I will be okay. Do we have dinner here or no."

"Tomorrow we will, today we can go to a local bread shop, than a cheese one, I promise you it's the best thing you will ever put in your mouth."

The werewolf didn't doubt it, she had heard stories about how amazing the food here was.

The two girls set out, stopping to window shop every now and than on their way to the tower. Once they arrived, Enid was quick to take at least forty pictures before she added in Wednesday, than herself.

Wednesday's personal favourite was the one where Enid was leaning down and kissing her cheek, she hadn't been able to hold back her natural grin. It looked cute, she would probably print it out and put it on their wall back at Nevermore.

Enid's fear of heights had stopped them from going up to the top, but they stayed a bit longer before starting to head back.

"My brother loves older architecture, he will be crazed when I tell him I saw the literal Eiffel Tower."

Wednesday grinned at her girlfriends happiness as they walked back to the bread shop, buying a fresh baguette, than they moved to the cheese and olive shop across the street, getting some olive noire de Nyons, and Comté.

Enid had to practically hold herself back from eating the whole thing herself. The bread was fresh out of the oven, making it warm, the olives were soft like butter and the cheese was just hard enough to add some chew. The flavours mixed together like peanut butter and jelly had a baby that turned into a pop star and got even better than them, according to Enid at least, Wednesday would much rather just describe it as though it was a fine wine.

Around ten, the two finally reached the suite again, finding that the candles had been re lit, a fire hazard according to Wednesday.

The two got ready for bed. Though normally they both slept in sweat pants and a sports bra, Wednesday had packed them both more appealing pyjamas. They were rather lingerie like, though the lace dresses had an underline. (They are just Jenna's dress in that one pic on her insta, with angel face on the slides before it, except Wednesday's is black and Enid's is white).

The beds were even softer than they looked, though Wednesday didn't go under the sheets. She had brushed on some mascara and let her hair down, the curls falling over her shoulders. The rose petals crowded around her legs as she waited.

Enid stopped in her tracks the moment she entered to room. She had seen Wednesday in nice outfits before, and occasionally with her hair down when they were alone, but seeing her with her legs crossed daintily, head rested against a pillow in dim lighting was a whole new experience.

"Are you going to join me?"

Enid took a deep breath as she joined her on the bed, eyes scanning over her body, finding her lips. It was definitely the lighting.

Wednesday didn't hesitate, she leaned over, noses almost brushing, though she stopped their, waiting for permission to continue.

Enid shifted closer, her hand resting against Wednesday's thigh. As softly as she could, she pressed their lips together. She felt her heart race as Wednesday gently started to suck her lower lip, her hand rising up to cradle the other girls face.

The gentleness she used as she pushed herself up lightly was shocking, she moved so her legs were on either side of Enid's hips. She pulled back slightly, her teeth grazing the gentil inner lip as she did so (that sounds so dirty I'm sorry I'm talking about the face).

Her face felt like it was on fire, Enid took a shakey breath. They had kissed before of course, but something about this felt different, deeper. She was handing her whole self to Wednesday in this moment. This wasn't something she would ever do with someone random, she loved Wednesday, that's what made this so special.

Wednesday's lips came to hers again, burning hot compared to their normal cold form. Enid felt her fangs come out, but Wednesday didn't seem to mind as they poked her lip. The blond gripped the back of her thigh, moving her whole body even closer.

Wednesday let out a satisfied sound as Enid's thumb massaged her thigh, moving her hand up and down. The pace went faster as Wednesday added more passion to the kiss, her hands rubbing Enid jaw harshly as she pressed her tongue on Enid's already half open lips. Not wanting to cut her, Enid forced her fangs to retreat as Wednesday ran her tongue over her own.

Grabbing both of Wednesday's legs, Enid forced her to move from her kneeling over her to a sit, growling slightly as Wednesday's shorter nails scraped her neck.

Enid pulled away, her lips looking swollen and red, slight purplish bruising over the edges, she moved her hands from Wednesday's hips to her head, tilting it slightly and pressing her lips to her neck.

She planted sloppy kisses down from there, stopping at Wednesday's collar line than going back up again.

"Enid," Wednesday gasped, clearly out of breath. "Your going to give me hickys."

The thought of leaving a mark on her mate practically made Enid crazy. She changed their positions, her own body now on top of Wednesday's as she sucked on her collarbone slightly. Wednesday grunted, hissing softly, her hand gripping Enid's back.

Finally, Enid lifted her head, looking around slightly. Wednesday's face was bright red, her chest heaving up and down. Enid hadn't noticed, but she left bite marks in some places. Her claws seemed to have coke out, as some of the lace on Wednesday's pyjamas was torn.

The two lay side by side for a few seconds, before Wednesday finally spoke up. "That was great, but I need some ice."

"Hey Alexa, turn lights to full volume," Enid hummed.

They system the hotel had installed worked extremely well, better than Enid's Alexa at home.

(This is giving twilight vibes but Enid isn't a wuss so she doesn't make Wednesday not ever make out with her again ಠ_ಠ)

Enid stood up, walking into the kitchen and grabbing an ice pack from the freezer, luckily supplied by the place already. She wrapped it in paper towel and brought it back to the bedroom, placing it against Wednesday's neck.

"Is that better?"

"Mmm mhm," Wednesday's eyes fluttered closed. "Lay down, let's get under the covers and sleep," she whispered.

Enid did as she said, cradling her body closely as she told Alexa to turn off the lights. This was going to be a good weekend.

A/N: y'all want a part two of this or laying more, cuz I only got the energy to do one of them.
