Derek POV
Since Isaac and Charlie don't have anywhere to stay they have been living with me for the past month. Charlie had already gone to bed and Isaac and myself were just about to do the same, when we heard a loud bang outside.
"What was that?" Isaacs asks me.
"I don't know. Stay here I'll go have a look." I said walking slowly to the front door.
I unlock it and open it as slowly as I can so it doesn't creak. As soon as I have enough space to squeeze through the door I do. I look around but nothing looks out of the ordinary. It must of been a stray cat or something.
I turn around to go back inside, when I heard a hissing sound.
I turn around slowly and am stunned to see a huge lizard towering over me.
I quickly shift and growl at it to show I'm not backing down; but I soon regret it when I'm thrown through my window. I slide until I'm stopped my the wall, I get up and shake the glass off me; now it was going to pay.
"Isaac wake up Charlie! There's a kanima!" I yell warning them.
Isaac doesn't do anything, he just stands there staring at the kanima walking through the now broken window.
I look back to Isaac who still hasn't moved. "Isaac!" He suddenly breaks out of his trance and runs up stairs to Charlie.
I growl at it as we circle around each other, waiting for someone to throw the first punch.
It decides to run at me, but I saw it coming from a mile away and side step the kanima then jump up and slam my fist into the back of its head. It hisses out in agony.
It then turns around to run at me again. "Seriously didn't you learn from last time."
I side step it again but this time it uses its tail and whips my legs making me crash to the ground. It turns around and smiles at me which is very disturbing.
I growl as I stand up again. Now I was really getting sick of it, first it trashes my house, then it throws me around, it was really starting to make my blood boil.
"That's it." I say getting angry and frustrated. I charge at it with my claws open so I can slash it.
"Derek try and knock it out I have a plan!" Charlie yelled from up stairs.
"In case you haven't notice that's what I'm trying to do!" As I'm yelling back at Charlie I didn't realise it running at me until I'm on the ground, again. I groan as I roll around, I was winded for a second.
Isaac then jumps down from the stairs in front of me in his werewolf form. "About time you came." I said.
He reached out a hand for me to grab and pulled me up.
"You go left I'll go right." Isaac instructed.
I nodded and then we charged, Isaac going right and me going left.
We all collided and some how we managed to get the kanima on the ground unconscious, but for how long.
Charlie then quickly ran down and made a circle of mountain ash around it. "There now we can figure out who the kanima is." She said throwing the bottle away which had the mountain ash.
"Are you sure it will hold it?" Isaac asks worried.
"It's a supernatural creature so I hope so." Charlie says.
"I guess we just wait to see who it is then." Isaac said walking over to a chair.
"Yes, we do." I say.
(Time skip)
It's been half an hour and the kanima was starting to wake up. It starts groaning and hissing as it stands up. It squints its eyes as it looks at us, like some how it was planning something, I'm just glad Charlie had mountain ash.
The kanima then looks down at the circle of mountain ash and looks back at us grinning.
"W-what's it doing?" Isaac said panicking.
"Nothing, it can't do anything." I say but I'm starting to doubt that.
The kanima lifts one leg and steps over the mountain ash with ease.
"You were saying!" Isaac said stepping back.
"Guys we should probably go." Charlie said pulling on my shirt. We all ran up stairs and watched what it was going to do next.
"Idiotsss." It hissed then ran and smashed through another window.
We all looked at each other in amaze.
"Since when do kanimas break through mountain ash?" Charlie said.
"Since when do kanimas speak?" I said very confused as to what just happened.
"Derek I think you need to call a emergency pack meeting." Isaac said looking at me.

Stiles POV
It was the next day and Derek had already called a pack meeting, with out Scott asking him to, maybe Derek knew something that we didn't.
Scott and I were on our way to the meeting. "So what do you think made Derek call a pack meeting?" Scott said looking at me.
"I don't know." I said keeping an eye on the road.
"Maybe he saw lizard?" Scott said trying to make small talk but I wasn't in the mood for talking, I was trying to think of how I was going to tell the pack that I was spider man.
"Yeah." I said plainly.
"Hey man, you alright?"
"Having second thoughts of telling the pack I'm spider man." I said.
"Stiles Lydia and I will be there to back you up, and that's only if anything goes wrong, which it won't." Scott tried comforting me.
"Thanks Scott."
I come to a stop outside Derek's place and am shocked to what I'm seeing.
"What happened here?" I said looking at the two broken windows.
"I don't know, but what ever it was must be the reason for the meeting." Scott said getting out of the car.
I sigh as I open the door.
How did this all happen? All I was meant to do was come to Beacon Hills just for dad's funeral and go back to New York with out anyone noticing; but instead everyone knows I'm back, there's a rampaging lizard terrorising Beacon Hills and now I'm about to reveal the biggest secret I have.
We both walk through the door and see everyone gathering around the table.
"Derek what happened to your windows?" Scott asks.
"A kanima is what happened, but now I'm not sure if it's even a kanima." Derek said folding his arms.
"It was huge a-and it spoke, and it broke through mountain ask." Isaac blurted out.
"That's because it's not a kanima." I say bringing everyone's attention on me.
"Well what is it?" Derek said looking confused and a little worried.
"It's exactly what you think it is, a giant lizard, but there's a man inside that monster, his name is Curt Connors. He was scientist researching the ability of reptiles to regrow missing limbs, so he could find a way to grow his right arm back. He eventually found something but made the mistake of testing it on himself, causing him to turn into that lizard." I sigh remembering how excited and confident he was about his new discovery, only to find it turning him into a monster.
"Wait, how do you know all this stiles?" Malia said making me cringe, I was hoping they wouldn't ask that question.
"Well about that..." I said rubbing the back of my neck. "You know how I was gone for a while."
"How could we forget about that." Malia said looking down.
"Well some things happened, them things being, I became spider man." I said waiting for everyone to erupt into questions.
"No your not." Derek said.
"What? Yes I am." I protested, this was not how I thought things would go.
"How could you be spider man?" Derek raised an eyebrow.
"Derek, stiles is Spider-Man." Lydia said.
"Dude, his Spider-Man, I even know that." Charlie said leaning on a wall.
"Prove it then" Derek said, I did not expect this at all.
"Fine."

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile and this chapter is probably a little boring, but soon things will get interesting. Hope you like it and don't mind any mistakes, I'm still editing. 😊
