Chapter 12.

Narrator.

"Are you ready?" Khadija asked as she enter in Zoya room. Zoya stood up from her bed and nodded. She knows this is the only way she can make things right. She doesn't want to be a burden on anyone and she decides that once she do this then she will take care of her child all alone. She doesn't need anyone in her life, but her child.

Khadija take Zoya downstairs where Qazi was sitting. Everyone was happy that Zoya agree with it. Rauhan don't want this to happen, but he couldn't do anything. He only wants to see her happy and he didn't even care about what people thinks.

Zoya sit between her Mom and Asim Mom while Asim sit between his Dad and Zoya Dad. Amir, Adil, Yasir and Usama sit on one couch. Aminah and Hira sit on other with Rauhan daughter and his niece. Rauhan and Khadija were standing behind Zoya. Qazi started to read Nikah papers and everyone listen. Asim glance up and see Zoya face covered with light, thin red dupatta, but he could see her beautiful face.

"I Do." Asim says to Qazi when he asked about accepting Zoya as his wife. Zoya felt her heart breaking as she imagined to hear those two words from the person she love not her friend.

"I Do." Zoya whisper as Qazi asked the same thing from her. Asim feel a little happy, but sad for not expecting her marriage like this to her. He want to be with her, but not like this. He didn't want to force her to be with him.

"Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Asim." Everyone congratulate each other and exchange hugs. Zoya closed her eyes as a pair of tear slip from her eyes. Seeing her crying Asim feel his heart breaking into little pieces.

'Don't worry Zoya. Now I am with you I will take all your pain away and give you my happiness. I promise to make your life peaceful and happy.' Asim promised it to himself.
