Percy-

Nico and myself walked down to the beach not to long before the fireworks started. I saw my mom, Paul, Josh, Anson, Pauls parents, and then the kids all hanging out over on the other end. They seemed to be having a blast 

We walked over to Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank, Thalia, Bianca, RED, Reyna, Octovain, Grover, Juniper, Clarisse, and Chris. The ones who had been begging me to wear a dress, not a tux.

After fireworks, which were amazing, we headed to the party and the first thing they do before everyone gets drunk off one thing or another.

They made all couples come up. Split up and together. So Annabeth is on one side of me and Nicos on the other.

Clarisse had Chris by her, Frank had Hazel, Thalia had Bianca. Would have Luke. They actually did date turns out. On the run. Grover told me that. So he had a little frikkin sticker thing.

They divided us all up.

They divided us up boy girl. If we're exes. Facing our exes. You can't look away. If you do, you're out.

This is only the first song. If you don't have an ex, still face them. If you're a same gender, you still face them. If there's multiple, you trade off.

There was a prize. What it was, they didn't say.

So many couples looked away the first crying. I wasn't one. Annabeth wasn't either. The next round is with Nico, so...

They move to current couples the next round and the song is Because of You.

Anson and Josh ended up getting out. They couldn't look each other and do that.

Now Thalia for an ex had to sing to these muted videos of Luke. I felt kind of bad. I thought she was going to cry.

And a little surprise just for this game and fornthe fourth with many mortal parents here.

The gods showed up.

My mother was ready to walk. She didn't. But she wanted to.

So we do the next round. The song was called Break even. And most godsnhave like 10ish women to go through.

My dad has one.

This is the first time my mom has seen my dad for longer than 30 seconds in almost 18 years.

I'm not stupid, I know my mom still cares about my dad but they can't be together. Well they could, wouldn't end well, though. Plus with Paul... Yeah...

Paul got jelous. It was obvious. He would not look in their direction what so ever.

We keep going until were down to 3 couples.  Me and Annabeth, my mom and my dad, and then Conner and Pollux.

Yes, they used to be a thing. After Castor died.

This round you have to hold hands, keep eye contact, sing it, and when it ends, kiss.

Conner and Pollux did not get the kissing part. Me and Annabeth. Neither of us wanted to do it. We just made it quick as we could and we'd never talk about it again.

My parents could've cared less.

You have to take an article of clothing off and stand even closer.

I took off my shoes. Thank gods I have a swim suit under this.

We went like seven songs, all of us in a bathing suit, before Annabeth broke the eye contact noticeably. The sing I don't blame her why. It's a song Luke sang to her, I know he did. She had been humming one day and she told me. For her to sing it to me. Take Me To Church.

When you're out, you have to walk off. She walked off and out for a minute, crying.

"Is she crying?" Piper asked me.

"Yeah." I said.

"Why?" Frank questioned.

"It's a... Personal song to her." Was all I really could say. I mean, Thalia right there. Clarisse behind me. I don't want to bring him up myself. I really don't like talking about it.

Thank gods they were good with that explanation.

Paul was only a little upset my mother wouldn't look away.

As in he wasn't speaking to her.

They tell you right away its a trust exercise. Can you trust them with their ex in something that should mean nothing and can the ex trust you with who you choose now.

Apparently he can't.

It was actually an idea we made in a meeting a while back. Between the Labyrinth and the Titan War. Finally did it.

"That... Was kind of weird." Jason commented afterwards. "Where Do you guys come up with this stuff?"

"We finish business early in meetings." Clarisse said. "And start BSing and saying random stuff and it turns into stuff instead of leaving early. When did we think this up? I don't even remember anymore."

"Between the Labyrinth and the Giant War." Grover said. "Right after the Labyrinth, I think."

"Sounds right." I said.

"Wasn't there." Nico wasn't lying.

I threw my dress and everything back on and all that fun stuff. Just slipped it over.

So Paul's not talking to me...

That's... Just great.

He's not talking to me, so I talked with Poseidon. He will.

We found Percy with his friends. And he didn't watch any current couple stuff. A little. But didn't watch Percy. Not knowing he was up there.

So when Nico and Percy kissed...

He wasnt mad. Anything but. It just like threw him off for a second.

"Are they...?" He asked me, pointing at them.

"As far as I know they are." I said. "Last I heard, at least. They were up there current couple for a while"

And Paul walked over and dragged me out of the building. Nobody there.

He was pissed because I was talking with him.

"Well you refused to talk to me." I told my husband. "Who else am I going to talk to?"

Okay, forget pissed, he was down right furious. Because I had won with Poseidon, which consisted of stripping down to my suit, kissing, and holding hands and looking at each other

So?

I didn't find it a big deal. Neither did Annabeth or Percy. They probably would've won if they didn't do that one song honestly. It wasn't a huge thing.

But he made it one.
