Chapter 9

You woke up after what seemed like forever. As you got ready for work, you wrote a note saying that you would be late coming home and that Sapphire really likes his food warm. As you left, you felt a weird feeling. Like it wasn't right to run off with a clown. You have heard of that Jack guy before, and how the children went missing because of him, but you trusted Jason for some unknown reason.

The day went perfectly fine with no casualties. At the end of the day, you had walked out of the shelter and saw the tall clown. He smiled at the sight of you. "Ooh! Everyone will be so excited!" He giggled happily. "Everyone?" "Oh, there's no time to dawdle! Let's go!" Jason grabbed your hand and started walking. He had led you far outside of town into a forest that seemed dangerous. "Jason where are we going?" But there was no answer, only his happy hums.

It took a minute or two for you to look up and see that Jason stopped in front of a manor. Like, movie star kind manor. He had opened the door to reveal a living room that could probably fit more than 50 people. The only two people who were in it though were a masked man and a small boy who was playing video games. The masked man didn't really care and seemed as if he would sleep at any time.

"Painter! BEN! I told you she would come!" They both had looked over, while the small one's jaw dropped. "Wow, you weren't kidding. She is a looker!" The masked man walked over and looked you up and down at every angle he could possibly see. "What are you doing, Painter?" "Making sure she doesn't carry anything." Jason had looked confused. "Like what?" "Like you." Painter had looked at Jason before sitting back down on the couch. "What kind of an introduction was that, Painter? They should really just start calling you a Pain." "That was the best I could give because some small elf decided to keep me up all night with nonsense!" The small one stood up and... Floated to Painter's height? "I am NOT AN ELF!" He yelled.

"Sorry about them. BEN doesn't get along with anyone and Painter gets a bit cranky when he doesn't sleep." Jason smiled innocently as you watched all of this happen. "So... This is everyone?" BEN and Painter stopped arguing and looked at Jason. "You told her?! We can't do that! We need to kill her!" BEN said. "Calm down. She only knows of us. Unless if someone else wants to make an appearance before we leave!"

"You know we can't bring outsiders here!" BEN said. He seemed scared. "BEN is correct. Mr. Slenderman will get angry if he finds out." "Well he isn't going to find out, is he?" Jason said in a mocking tone. "I guess we aren't welcomed here then." "You are, Jason. Just not that being beside you." You had cleared your throat just to get the attention on you. "Can I just ask what's going on? I'm met with a guy who looks straight out of Jason vs. Freddy, a thing that can float, and a giant clown. And if I stay, something is going to kill me? Am I getting this right?" They stayed silent to comprehend what you said. "My apologies, Ma'am, but we do have-" "Yeah basically." BEN had floated over to you in a calm manner. "Maybe you should go or uh... We could hang in my room without that clown freak around." "Alright. I'm done. Jason. I'm going home. This is not the place I get raped by a small creature."

You walked out of the building and try to find a way out of that damn forest. Jason was following you. The footsteps sounded familiar as his pace fastened. He had gotten behind you and picked you up. "I'm sorry, (Y/N)... I wanted you to meet some of them but... It was a disaster..." "No no no. It's fine, really." He carried you home in silence, dropping you off at the front door. "I'll see you later then..." "Wait! Come on. I don't want them to bug you when you go back. You can sleep with me." He seemed happy. You opened the door and walked in with him following. Sapphire had rubbed up against your leg when you walked in. "Jason, this is Sapphire. Sapphire, Jason is going to be my cuddle buddy tonight. Watch over Griffin." Sapphire had flicked his tail angerly as he walked off.

You led Jason to your room which wasn't that far of a walk. Just the stairs seemed like a hassle for you and the clown. When you got into the room, you hadn't realized how messy it was. "You don't need to pick up things just because I'm here." Jason said with a smile. "It shows your personality." You both awkwardly lay on the bed together, not really saying anything. You did, however, wrap your arms around him. As you slowly drift to sleep, you felt his arms wrap around you and hold you close.
