Connie's POV

After sleeping, for what felt like a long time, not that I'm honestly complaining, I felt someone gently shake me.

I groaned before rolling to see something I wish I could use for blackmail later, for it was a half asleep Gladion and something tells me he's not a morning person, and I should know 'cause I'm not either.

"Let's go before Hau does something.. "Hau" again."

He then groans at his own words, as I chuckle and get up, but not before noticing a patch coming off of the right side of my stomach.

'Crap!'

I walk to the bathroom holding the patch gently, so I don't look suspicious to say the least, to my stomach.

I looked in the mirror and saw the gross sticky crap came off.

'Note to self, get Medusa to apply fake skin, not her daughters.'

I sighed and decided to just take it off and put concealer on it to, at least, hide it.

'This should do it.' I then looked at the mirror, after hopping onto the sink, to see no marks.

'Hope this is waterproof..'

I got off the sink and exit the bathroom, but not before seeing French Cherio in front.

He turns to me and asks if I was ready.

Albeit, I was confused, as well as curious as to what the heck he means.

"I'm ready~, for what exactly??"

He just blinks at me before having an added color to him as he states that we were heading out to the next town on Route 6.

I shrugged, after blinking and sighing in defeat.

"I still don't get all these, "Routes". What's the deal with them?" I groaned for I keep going the wrong way and he has to grab my collar to keep me on track, no joke!! This French dessert got guts I'll give him that.

"Quick going the wrong way."

I looked his way and growl, literally.

"SHUT IT!! I'm still practically new here Baka French Fries!!!"

I saw tick (💢) marks.

"I TOLD YOU TO QUIT THAT!!!!"

"FIGHT ME!!!!"

We were both glaring at each other, nearly at each others throat before I cough caught ours glares.

"What Hau?" I grew tick (💢) marks and smack this fringe freak on the back of his head!!

He yells at me as I yell back at his sorry ass, cause well.. He's a freakin' ass!!!!!

"Your way to much!!!"

I smirked.

"My thoughts exactly." With that said, I walked off, leaving a stunned Cherio and a shocked child behind, heading towards where salt is what I sniffed.

I ended up at a beach? Not that I'm complaining though, I've always wanted to see the beach side, but this was.... Comforting.

I walk down the hill, before walking among the sand, and stared at the Sea among the horizon.

'Never realized how different Alola is compared to that prison.'

I smiled small not realizing that I was crying until I felt something cup my face.

"Oh my!!" I jumped up in surprise. "Are you alright!?"

I felt my eyes change, as I jump back and took a pro defense stance.

"Oh! Did I scare you??" I raised a brow, and smally nodded, making her gasp. "Oh!! I'm sorry!! I saw you here standing alone, then I saw you crying and, and!!!---" "Woah!! Woah!! Chill girlie!!"

I waved my hands in a way to calm her down, which works surprisingly, and look her over.

She had long blonde hair, a white dress, and emerald eyes.

She surprisingly looks a lot like Cherio.

"So are you okay?" I look her way and nod, stoic expression still laced on my face. "You sure?" I look up to her. "You still have some red on your cheek, did you get scratched?"

I blinked, before reaching my hand up and wipe my cheek, and sure enough there was blood on my cheek.

I sighed and told I was fine and that I was just crying without knowing of it.

"Why were you crying? If I can ask that is."

I shook my head, to tell her that it's fine, and we sat by the shore line where I told her it was the sea, and how seeing it reminded me of how different Alola is from.... Where I'm from.

"Where are you from??" I look at her from the corner of my eye. "I mean I've never seen you in Alola."

I sigh and looked back to the horizon, her following in suit.

"Needless to say, where I'm from an innocent thing like you wouldn't make it long." I felt her eyes widen, before something grabs my hand.

"I see, and I'm sorry." I look to her and smile a little, only for her to see, though, and see smiles in return. "I'm Lillie~!! What's yours??"

I saw the curiosity in her eyes as she looks at me, and I blink before repling with, "Connie."

She smiles and gets up, pulling me along with her and further along the sand, with neither of us knowing of wide eyes behind us.

Gladion's POV

'How did Lillie get here? And how did she get to Connie so easily???'

... I sighed, I was going to apologize to Connie, for my words, and the fact that I had to be reminded by Hau that she's not from here, and tracked her only to find out she's with Lillie.

.... And it surprise me that she warmed up to her quickly, more than me.... Wait. What am I thinking!? I just met her a day or two ago!!!

"Hey C~!! Let's go to the water~!!" My eyes wondered between Lillie and Connie, but what surprise me was Connie's wide eyes.

They seemed to talk about something, but I couldn't hear it, before Lillie drags Connie to the water, making her wait so she could take off her boots, and look like she made Lillie take off her shoes, before she was "re-grabbed" by Lillie.

They were in the water just splashing around when I noticed Lillie pointing to something and Connie was holding her right hip.

'Well, that's quite odd.'

Lillie's POV

'I didn't know she couldn't swim!! Glad she told me before giving in to the water.'

We were splashing around in the water when I noticed that something was coming off her hip revealing something black.

"Hey what's that??" I point at it and she looks down before she covers it immediately.

"D-Don't worry about it." "Is it something hard for you?" She looks my way surprised, before it returns to normal and she nods smally and I smile and she growls.

'Whoopsie~! Pulled a brother.'

"Sorry~." She sighs and says it alright, then I remembered something. "Hey why are you here by yourself??" She blinks looking at me. "That question got postponed."

She gave an ~oh~, and we sit on the docks before she says that she and a Cherio got into a disagreement of some sort....

.... And is "Cherio" a nickname????

"Who's "Cherio"??" She raises a brow at me as I try not to laugh. "It's kinda funny~."

She smirks, and lays back on the wood, arms behind her, and looks to the sky.

"Best way I can put it is Edge Lord~." 💡 "He's just so... Edgie, if that's even a word." 💡💡 "Not to mention uptight and stubborn."

'........ She's met my brother. Who else fits that description??'

"Now that I think of it." I look at her she looks to me. "You kind of look like him, just a sweeter girl version of him."

"Ah~~! That's sweet~!"

She chuckles telling me to not get use to it.

"Why??"

"When I'm around nothing but girls I soften up a little, but I get tense around guys and so I stay "Emo" so to speak, and it's grown on me."

I gave this expression (o_o).

She laughs at it and I end up laughing with her to the point where an Dark Aura was felt.

I turned and saw a very angry Gladion.

'Uh oh.'

Gladion's POV

I approach the laughing girls quite mad, why you may ask, because I got closer and heard Connie's comments of me, and the fact that Lillie laughed made it worst!!!!

Lillie saw me and shudders as Connie looks to her, before seeing me and smirks.

"Hello there Blonde Cherio's~, what's up?"

I saw Lillie puff her cheeks, as Connie tells her she's got a lot more on me, before she falls on her back laughing, making my face turn red.

"First calling him "Cherio", then placing "Blonde" in front!! I'm gonna use those~!!"

"NO YOU ARE NOT!!!!!"

She giggles as Connie smirks at me, while also chuckling.

It was then I notice something black on her hip.

"What's with the tattoo??" Her eyes widen. "Aren't you a little young for that?"

"Shit!!" "Language." "I forgot about that." She whispers but I heard her loud and clear, Lillie too.

"Why were you trying to hide it??" I raised a brow at Lillie's question. "You had concealer on it." My eyes widen, for I didn't even realized it, and she sighs and says that she can't tell a soul, except certain people. Which I'm guessing is me.

"Aw. I can keep secrets~! Right Gladion~??" I blink as Connie shouts in surprise and looks at both of us.

"You?" She points to Lillie before me. "Know the Edge Lord of Cherio's!?"

She giggles, as I growl and says yes, for that I was her older brother, and she scream at that comment alone before falling off the dock.

"You've got to be kidding me?"

"Fraud not, Hot-Head~." I held my hand out to her not knowing of Hau behind me.

"We are not playing this game Cherio Fries."

I smirk.

"I believe we already are TsunGirl~."

Her eyebrow twitches, as she grabs my wrist, catching me off guard and slings me into the water.

And there you have it, how me and Connie ended up soaking wet with Hau in between us as an attempt to seperate us.

"Here you go C~." Lillie gives Connie a towel, before she sneezes into her elbow, making me sweat drop. "You might want to take you cover off."

She sighs. "Yeah, you're right." She then looks at her top. "Can't risk getting sick, but just don't freak out alright?"

She nods, as removes her cover, and gasps.

"It's so..." I saw Connie back away a little, and I was curious as to what was going to happen. "PRETTY~!!!!" I fell back in surprise.

"R-Really??" She nods, which makes Connie have the most genuine smile I've ever seen on her and it stunned me.

"Whoa! Con! You should smile more, your really pretty when you do~!!" I dead pan (-_-) on Hau's blunt statement, as Connie turns her head away, but not before I see a hint of pink on her ears, as well as Lillie giggling at her.

"D-Don't get use to it Baka!!!"

"Your contacts." "Huh?" I look to Connie. "Take 'em out." Her eyes widen as Lillie question what I meant and Hau explains that Orange is not her color, and she begs Connie to take them out before looking to me, and I nod.

She was hesitant, but took them out regardless, and looked at Lillie who was either Shocked, Stunned, or both.

"They're pretty C~!!!!!!" She literally pounces in Connie, who lands on Hau and me, bad thing is... Her head landed in my lap. "Don't you dare hide them~, they're way to pretty to hide~!!"

She gives a small smile before looking up to me, and Albeit, it's hard not to get lost in her eyes, so strong yet weak, alive yet lifeless, determine yet scared.....

...... She almost reminds me of a Fox type pokémon of hers.
