Hau's POV

"YOU ASS!!!"

"Language."

"URASEI BAKA!!!!"

I sighed as I set in between a ticked, soaked Connie, and a Tsun~Tsun~ bruised Gladion.... Okay mostly to keep Connie from getting to Gladion.

..... Your... Probably wondering what happened right?? Well.. It wasn't like this, at least, not early in the morning.

<Back Track to This Morning>

I awake to the morning rays, and boy do I enjoy mornings.

"Hehe~, I love mornings~!"

I heard an growl and look to find Gladion.... on the couch???

'I thought he was sharing with Connie??'

I closed my eyes and recalled last night when we rent this room for the night.

~Last night before Hau fell asleep~

"I am not sleeping with a male."

"Just say boy!!"

"WHERE THE HECK IS THE DIFFERENCE CHERIO!!!!"

"QUIT THAT CHERIO CRAP!!!"

"MAKE ME BLONDIES!!!!!!"

I just blinked at the two. Their fighting like a married couple with bi attitudes... Actually maybe I should point that out, but Connie's raw strength might get my ass beat so I'm staying out!

"Um... Can I proposed something??"

They both glare, as I saw Connie sigh and whack Gladion on the head, resulting in him glaring at her. She looks my way, stoic as the TsunGirl she is, and nods.... And I'm taking it my time to speak.

"If Connie doesn't wanna sleep with one of us, we could always Rock, Paper, Scissors for the other bed~!"

Connie had hearts for eyes, but still wore her usual expression, where as Gladion's had flames in them and was scowling at the idea.

"You might be smart after all Hau~."

I look to Connie and gave my signature grin and pose, and I may have imagine it, but I think I saw the TsunGirl smile a little~.

..... But of course Gladion wasn't gonna have that, and refused giving anything to anyone, let alone a girl like Con.

And before you ask she said ~I'm okay with you calling me that.~ so I got permission.

Gladion challenge Connie to a Pokémon Battle, but it was time for sleep, and I could tell Con wanted sleep.

She took in an breath before Judo flipping Gladion on his face with one hand.

'.... I'm so getting her to teach me that~!!!'

"Okay, my turn to proposed something." She walked around and sat on Gladion's back, and he ~oompft~ at her weight, even though she really isn't heavy, and growls at her as she sat Indian style. "Since Blonde Treat Scrawny Twig didn't like your idea, how about this: you and Hau can share a bed while I get the other."

"HOS THA ANNIE BETKER!!!"

"How did I even understand that is a better question mumbles." I heard him growl as Con explains why she can't share, saying that she feels uncomfortable in the same bed with the opposing sex.

Gladion, who finally got his head up from the floor growls.

"Okay that's it!! You're sleeping with Hau!!!"

I blinked for I think I saw saw three 💢 marks on her forehead.

"Did you not hear me? I clearly told you why I can't baka!!!!"

"BAKA YOURSELF!!!!"

"OH REAL RICH, I BET YOU PRACTICED THAT ONE IN THE MIRROR ALL MORNING LONG PRETTY BOY~!"

"Why you--!" He was cut short by a ring and I saw Con shudder as she glanced to the folder from earlier today.

She walks towards, completely ignoring Gladion, as she pressed something and the cool screen pops up....

... But the person immediately shut Gladion up... He was scary looking.

"G-Greetings my Lord."

'My Lord!??!'

I was shocked and so was Gladion as he immediately walked up and stood behind Con, but that dude must've said something terrible to 'cause Con to shake slightly before... getting flung across the room!?

"Con!?" I ran to her, and luckily her pokémon caught her but also growled at the screen, and helped her up, but she was out cold and slightly bleeding.

"Tell that arrogant slave to know her place, or I'll have my way see fit to a tee~."

The screen turns off and Gladion immediately runs our way.

He asks me if she's alright, and I just tell him she's out cold and bleed but not that much.

He sighs and we both actually agreed on Con's proposal and laid her on one bed, as Gladion and I share the other, but he decided that he'd stay with Con just incase some odd ball came in.... Which is actually not unusual right now from what we witnessed, of course this was after we cleaned her wound.

So in other words, Gladion slept with Con~.

~Back to the Morning~

I look over to see Con still sleeping with two Wolvir's, one on each side, in a protective ball.

...... But that doesn't explain why Gladion's on the couch....

As I looked to the ceiling, trying to piece a reason together, I never noticed a stirring girl trying to wake up, until I heard a groan followed by curses....

.... Her mouth is foul, but can't blame a girl that was raised in a bad environment..

She looks my way and smiles smally and gets up, that is before she noticed Gladion.

She professionally picks him up bridal style and places him in between her pokémon....

'.... He's glad he's still asleep..'

She gave a soft smile, and I was surprise, but she glares at me as if saying ~Say anything I pounce~.

I pulled my hand over my mouth like a zipper, telling her that her soft side is safe with me, and she nods before heading into the kitchen and telling me to at least get more sleep, for she knows I was up late with Gladion.... And honestly I forgot about that, but I don't want to fight with Con so I oblige and went back to bed, not knowing of a certain someone blinking.

Gladion's POV

I felt comfortable, which is not what I was expecting, and felt something nudge against both my ribs.

I slowly open my eyes and blinked confused at the ceiling, then it hit me. We were at the hotel room that Connie somehow got for free... Still need to ask about that, it's to odd.

I sit up and saw the couch, in front of the TV, and the saw two of Connie's pokémon, one on each side, against me. It was then I noticed I'm not on the couch, but in the bed Connie was sleeping in.....

...

'Hold up.'

I started feeling myself and sighed in relief and then blushed over something as stupid as that movie Hau showed me a while back, and to think I would be in Connie's body? Now that be embarrassing.

...... 'Then how'd it end up--?!'

I smelled something, sweet??

'What is that??'

I saw a door open and saw Connie come out, with a red apron on!?

I blinked, and tried to find reason for why I feel hot, and didn't notice she was carrying a tray with plates until a *Clank* broke me from my thoughts and I look over to see her set the table.

I blinked.

'Is she the only one up??' I looked over and saw Hau sleeping, snoring and drooling on his pillow, heck he was even laughing, and that in general 'caused me to sweat.

"You should probably sleep more."

I looked to Connie and saw her usual expression, but for some reason when she spoke to me she kept her eyes closed.

"What no insults this morning?"

I saw her smirk but remained stoic, and eyes closed.

"Says the cherio sleeping with my pokémon~." She then walks off, with me growling at her blunt attitude.

I immediately looked at the out the window, not knowing of anything behind for a good 10 minutes at least, until both of Connie's Wolvir's and Lycanroc pounce on me making me fall to the floor.

"Get. Off."

The trio just grins as a tune was heard and both Wolvir's retreat towards it, even Lycanroc was intrigued in it and sat beside me listening, and that made me confused until I heard Connie compliment the two pokémon for coming when she called, before Connie and the two Wolvir's come out holding food.

The Wolvir on four legs walk up to Lycanroc, while the other wakes Hau up, and carefully places odd food in front of him.

He grew skeptical, and so did I, until that same pokémon took a bite, telling Lycanroc ~it was safe~ before grinning wolfishly and retreating to its trainer.

I blinked and looked to Lycanroc who took a small bite before getting wide eyed and immediately devour the whole thing making me surprised, as he practically howls in thanks 'causing a chuckle to be heard, as I turned my head to see Connie standing their beside a dressed table and no apron, and opened eyes??

'Why did she decide now to open her eyes???'

She chuckled again and I know why, for Lycanroc was holding out his plate, and it surprised me for Lycanroc never asks for more food.

She pets Lycanroc's head and heads to get more and gives it to him.

"Good to know human pokémon like my homemade pokéfood."

My eyes widen.

'Homemade!?' My thoughts were cut short by a hand in front of me. 'When did she even get there!?'

I just look at her, with my usual expression, and blink.

She sighs and looks me dead in the eyes with her orange ones, after getting to my level.

"Can't eat if you're not at a table, and I'm not carrying you again."

'So blunt-- wait does that mean.'

I looked from Connie to the bed then back to her, and saw her blinking continuously.

"Did you place me to bed, moreover yours?"

She had an ~ah~ moment, before grabbing my hand and pulled me off the ground, while also saying yes to my question.

"How?"

"Simple." She dusted off imaginary dust, as I did the same, but with real dust. "I carried you."

I dead panned to the floor, as I heard Hau laugh from the table.

Don't ask how he got there 'cause I wouldn't be able to tell you, Connie growls and effortlessly puts me on me feet surprising me.

She then walks off back to the kitchen, but stops at the doorway.

"You know." I just watched her. "You really are a twig." I growled and chased after her before a door slammed into me face.

I turned around and sat across from Hau, who was holding back a laugh.

I raised a brow.

"What--!" I immediately slapped my hand to my face.

... My voice just cracked.

Hau busted out laughing, as I growled.

"First you started blushing then your voice cracks~!!! Comic Gold!!!"

I growled before a plate was set I front of me, and albeit it looked good.

"Wow~ Con, this looks good~!!"

'Con??'

She just chuckles at his statment, and tells us to dig in.

I just stare at it, as Hau already takes the first bite and, grows sparkles???

"Oh~ yeah~!!!!" He immediately devours the whole thing while saying how good it is, making me blink.

'Is it really that good?'

I looked at it before taking stealing a glance at Connie, who was feeding all our Pokémon, before taking a bite and was mentally sent to Nirvana, but of course I didn't show it, but I did eat more quickly than I usually do.

Connie left, for I believe she was making herself a plate but didn't return.

"Where'd Con go???"

'Good question.'

Connie's POV

After making everyone their plates, and feeding our pokémon, I decided to get me a plate, of course do to living habits that are, literally, engraved on me I ate a smaller portion than the boys, and I ate in the kitchen. Yeah rude I know that, but this? This is what made me who I am, and it's not that easy to change.... I don't want to be mean, it's a unbreakable reflex.

.... And it can't be contained.

My vision starts to blur and eyes began to burn to the point where I see slight red.

'Stupid curse, and stupid contacts!!!!'

Not noticing the door opening, I turned the sink water on Luke warm, took out my contacts and dunked my head under the water.

I sighed in relief when burning eased, 'cause for some reason contacts irritate my eyes but I don't want Hau or cherio fry to freak if they saw the way my eyes were.

I was so relaxed that I didn't feel two presences behind me until someone startles me by grabbing my shoulder and screaming my name happily in my ear, in which results in me in hitting my head on the faucet hard to the point where I'm holding it in pain and fell to the floor cursing in a different language.

Gladion's POV

Connie's been gone for a little bit, so to show my "thanks" I decided to see if she was alright.

I get up, with Hau watching me curiously, and open the kitchen door, but I never expected to see her pull contacts out of her eyes before dunking her head under the faucet.

It looked like she was relaxing a little bit, which made me wonder what Exactly happened to her for she keeps talking as if she's not human herself.

I noticed Hau come up beside me, but he tilts his head before smirking... And I felt subconscious.

"Let's scare her~."

The fact he was whispering put me on Edge.

"She'll beat you, reason I said You is 'cause I'm not getting destroyed."

"Come on~." His whining was annoying even if he was whispering, and went ahead and I Connie's pokémon look worried, not for Hau, I asked them if it was for Connie and they all nodded. I asked why and they all did something that actually made me shudder.

They all had damage chips in the back of their heads.

I then begin to think, if the pokémon have damaged chips, then that means that---- 'Oh no.'

I ran to Hau's side to stop him, but he already grabbed hold of Connie's shoulder and scream her name which 'caused her to jumped and hit the faucet, but what caught my attention was the sound of metal before Connie fell to the floor, holding her head in pain.

"Connie!?" I get to her level and noticed she was crying, but it wasn't normal tears, it was blood and to top it off, she was growing black marks around her eyes and they continue the more she cries.

Hau laugh stopped when he realized this is serious and no longer funny.

"Oh man, I didn't mean for this!!!"

I growled and turned to him, while also helping Connie place pressure on her head.

"Check her bag! She said she always come prepared for odd occasions!!"

He nods and heads out, and I can hear him curse on how idiotic he is, as I look to Connie, who's in pure pain, and saw her trying to hold back her whimpers and whines.

I noticed she was starting to suffocate, from all the crying, and undid her jacket, for she told us yesterday that she wears a tight thin strapped shirt the same length as her jacket under it, and took it off, but I wasn't expecting to see a multi-colored stone implanted a few centimeters under her collarbones.

'Connie. What are you?'

"Gladion!! I got it--" He gets smack and to my surprise it was by Lycanroc and Connie's Wolvir. "WE got it."

Lycanroc and Wolvir immediately head to us and I think Wolvir was telling Lycanroc what to do 'cause Lycanroc immediately stabs Connie where her heart would be!!

"LYCANROC!!"

I heard Hau go ~Whoa~, as a groan was heard and I looked down to see Connie with an pain free expression, and the marks around her eyes slowly disappears as she breathes easy.

I secretly sigh in relief, pokémon as well, as Hau falls to the floor dramatically screaming ~note to self, never prank Connie with her head under something~ he then looks at me and smiles before rolling over on his stomach to get up.

I follow his lead and held Connie while getting up, and I was surprised by how light she was...

... And she calls me a scrawny twig, she's light as a feather!!!

I was going to lay her on the bed, before she subconsciously wraps her arms around my neck, 'causing me to blink.

"Bro.. This might be me..." I turn his way as he said ~but~ rather slow. "What if the stuff Connie said I was allowed to hear, was true and she's not human to begin with??"

My eyes widen, for I never even took her words as truth, but seeing all that just happened, and the fact that she was wearing contacts makes more sense now.

She wasn't completely human, and we didn't listen. I didn't listen.

I held onto Connie and sat on bed, back against base board, and leaned Connie's head against my chest, while Hau said he was going to clean the kitchen mess from his "mishap", which resulted in sighing and stealing looks at Connie.

Not long after I felt Connie stir a little, telling me she trying to wake up, and I carefully comb her hair, 'cause her Wolvir was demonstrating the best way to calm her on Lycanroc and he was enjoying it way to much.

She eased up a little and slowly opened her eyes before meeting mine, and my eyes widen.

Her left eye was pure pink, and her right eye was pink on top and green on the bottom, and they look so natural, unlike those contacts she was using.

I gulped, for I had no idea that this black hair, pink highlighted teen had this hidden!!!

I grabbed her face, which surprise her I'm sure for she tried to push me away but failed to do so before she had a look of recall and tries to look away, but I wasn't going to let her and pulled her chin.

"Why'd you hide them?" She just blinks, as my eye twitches. "Why would you wear contacts." Her eyes widen as she tried to run, no doubt to those contact lenses, but I grabbed her petite waist and threw her to the bed and pin her to it to stop her from running.

She tries to fight back, but fails.

"Look I'm not going to hurt, like you said yesterday, ~whether you like it or not I'm stuck with you~, can't you at least explain why you would hide your eyes?" She looked contemplated, as I gripped her harder. "I'm not taking no for an answer C."

"C????" She blushes as I blink, before realizing what I just called her, and got up and helped her up as well.

She sighed and said since Hau wasn't here she might as well tell me the real reason. I nodded as she sighed and said that her eyes are the reason that her family keeps getting targeted, and she had to seperate from her other two siblings in order for them all to survive, she even had to kill some of them in order to get away.

"So that's why I wear the world's most uncomfortable contacts, to not only protect myself but the people around me too."

I exhaled.

"I didn't know, sorry for making you talk."

She shook her head saying "it's fine", and then said "I told you I can only share personal with you alone anyway."

I smiled 'cause she did say that before, I just forgot, and got up, pulling her with me to stand, and I can't help not to stare into her eyes.

"You know, you really shouldn't hide them, their actually kind of pretty." I mumbled that last part while turning my head, so I didn't notice a new color to her face until she rapidly shook her head.

"I'll-- I'll think about French fries."

I blinked.

'That ones new.'

Suddenly that door flew open and Hau ran inside.....

.....

"When did you even leave??"

'Thank You!!!!!'

Hau just blinks while saying "I left after I got done." And I face planted into the ground, completely forgetting I had Connie and dragged her with me.

I growled but that changed when I saw Lycanroc, and Connie's Wolvir smirking/laughing, while the other Wolvir just smiles.

I got confused and looked down and saw Connie on top of me on her hands and knees with a shocked expression, and I must of wore something similar to her, and I made the mistake of propping myself on my elbows, 'cause now I accidentally felt her breath on my face.

We just sat their in silence... I don't know what kind, but it was there, until a cough was heard.

"Whoa. Gladion you work fast man~."

I blushed as Connie immediately got up and went to the window holding her face with both her hands, back facing me, whereas I held the bottom half of mine.

But then a thought immediately came to me.

'Connie's breath, it was.... Cold, why??'

I looked to Connie and noticed she was swaying a little bit, and I heard Hau yawn saying he was sleepy and fell asleep.

I walked over to and grabbed her shoulder, giving it a light squeeze, as she turns to me hands still on her face but looking at me through her fingers.

"Get some sleep." She just blinks as I sigh. "You deserve. C."

I saw some light reflect in her left eye, for I was on her left, and it made her unique, as well as a new darker red appear through her fingers and ears.

"W-Well you do too." She then looks to me only covering the bottom half of her face. "You did take care of me."

I just blink before chuckle at the TsunGirl in front of me, and shake my head only a little bit.

"I won't win I this, will I?"

I heard a chuckle, as I look to see Connie's eyes with a new look, and honestly, I liked it a lot better than before for some reason. I smiled a little, earning a gasp and a tan index pointed my way.

"The Edge Lord smile~!!" My eye twitched as she dramatically falls saying the world has ended, but I caught her.

"You really are annoying." She giggles, catching me off guard before I smirk.

"Well~, the TsunGirl can actually giggle~?" She turns red before turning her head, making me chuckle. "Who knew~?"

She pushes me off, telling me to shut up before calling me an baka Edge Lord, and heads to the side closes to the wall, as I shake my head and follow in suit.

"Oh. And sorry if I kicked to the point where you ended up on the couch."

I blinked, before recalling how I even ended up there, and forgave before falling asleep.
